Hello and welcome to my wonderful story. Please post what you think about it, all critiques are allowed. Just no really mean ones, say what you feel and think.

Chapter 1: Calm Before The Storm

 

 

I walked down the street. I was semi-happy.

 

 

School was out for the summer, which i guess was good. But then there was my step father, sometimes he was okay and i could deal with him. But i just didn't really like him. He wasn't very nice at all, and i hated how he treated my mom.

 

 

I stopped. I was right in front of my favourite shop. There was what I was saving up for, it was going to be a gift for my mom. Since i technically had no one special to give it too.

 

 

Then a crack of thunder in the distance brought me from my thoughts. Dark, looming clouds hung high in the sky. A storm was coming, it made sense.

 

It was the calm right now.

I decided to take a short cut. Although mother told me never. I chose a nearby alley way. it was dark. But i could see, it was my natural ability. So i walked down the alley, but then the hairs on the back of my neck froze. A chill ran up my spine.

 

 

I turned my head, my eyes met glowing red ones. There was a low pitch growl, fear swept into my mind.

 

 

They stepped into the light. It was a man, he had blood on the side of his mouth and he was deathly pale. His hair was very messy and shaggy. He looked very wild.

 

 

I stepped back. He licked his lips then grinned, he had very pointy teeth,

 

 

I breathed out in shock,

"vampire"
