Sander
I can't say I like Adele, but I don't hate her as well. Totally neutral about her music, you could say.
.Rai
She has one of the most unique voices in pop, has the attitude of any of the so-called pop divas, she has a style reminiscent of soul and country (and refreshingly like Amy Winehouse too), and she just is amazing. She very well deserved her 6 Grammys and 2 BRITs.
CDDRodrigo
Got tired of constant listening to her songs on the radio. That made me dislike her voice.

·Toot
I only listen to one of her songs... (Someone like you) Its a great song, but other than that she's pretty eh...
Enguin Enguin Enguin Enguin
The thing that made me go off her stuff was the stupid X Factor with complete RETARDS killing the songs. Also they are overplayed, like seriously, who actually wants to hear the same song 7 TIMES in ONE day?
Twig
^Radios are also to blame for overplaying her songs. Anyways, I love Adele, and it's not just because of her singles. I listen to most of 19 and 21.
Tentacruel
She's got a great voice, but I just don't usually listen to this genre.

Akeno_Ederis_17
i love "someone like you" the most because she's just so good. and i can relate that song. "never mind i'll find someone like you" ohhhhh.. LSS syndrome x(
Chaotic Angel
I also enjoy listening to Adele, did anyone see her get speech taken away at the BRIT awards?
I did. Adele got cut off and she pulled the bird at the organisers who told James Corden to cut her off. Also, FIXED your message. Mehmani
She's probably the closest thing we have to the vocal icons of the 30s and 40s, but showboats far too much and writes four-chords songs. An inferior Amy Winehouse, who is in turn an inferior Fitzgerald or Holliday. I think Adele is boring and has terrible diction.
I can't really see the comparison between Fitzgerald and Adele. Both are completely amazing in their own right. Adele is basically a more modern, edgy version of Fitzgerald (with far more pop and Motown influences). In the modern age, I'm willing to say that there's a certain acceptance that hardly any singers or artists in this age will be at the level of the 30s and 40s jazz and swing singers. Even Gotye shows loads of lovely Bowie and Floyd influences, not to mention a penchant for brilliant writing. There are still good musicians out there if you look hard enough. You just have to look very, very hard.
mederith
Well, although I've only heard "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You", I really appreciate her voice. But I can't say I love her so much. She's just a talented artist. Compared to Adele, I love Taylor Swift more. She's more genuine, and she's not like other celebrities, she's just like a friend or sister to us fans. I can truly understand Taylor's popularity among teens.
