AI that's too smart.

If you practice with TF2 bots, never play Spy. If you come up behind enemy lines while disguised, they will look at you creepily with this dead stare for a few seconds before tearing you a structurally superfluous new behind. Uncloak anywhere on the map, disguised or not, and prepare to get headshot.

Terrible camera positions.

Especially annoying if you're doing a platforming section and there's no way to tell if you can make over a gap or there's even a platform on the other side because of the AWFUL camera position =___='

Lets not forget, fixed camera positon[and they stick them at the worse places] *cough* Dante's inferno*cough*

Oh man, I got a list of these.

  • Heal does not to damage to undead
  • Melee weapons are stronger than Guns
  • The Prototype weapon is stronger than the mass produced weapon that doesn't have any negative drawbacks
  • Group heal: Heals everyone BUT you
  • Random stats for weapons, armor, etc. (I.e -5 int +200 Mana)
  • Human enemies take 8+ shots to kill, continue like nothing happened after the first 3-4
  • Do very long quest, 45min-1hr+, Reward is bad
  • Plot twists that involve the protagonist being related to the antagonist
  • Grind for hours trying to obtain a certain item, Its in the shop right after the next dungeon.
  • Stupid Taunts that the NPC's and AI say all the time. "I KNOW YOU'RE HERE, FISHER."
  • "MID OR I FEED."

My face when any or all of these:

  • Melee weapons are stronger than Guns

I used to feel like this before, but when you think about it, it makes sense.

A bullet creates one small hole in you.

A dagger rips and tears at your flesh.

Obviously, the dagger will do more damage and thus, be more effective. However, if someone's coming at you with a melee weapon, you shoot him, but he seems unaffected and still kills you, that's when things get retarded. *coughcallofdutycough*

Also, for the bullet vs dagger, this is assuming the gun isn't a shotgun or anything higher than a 45.

Or if you only shot once.

...still pretty stupid either way.

Microtransactions that sell achievements in game, such as EXP, and devalue people's hard work. Selling cosmetics and weapons that will eventually become available to the public is fine, or even if not, it's also ok, but selling EXP, completion of quests, or otherwise, just makes me sick. It's almost as bad as botting. And, in some recent examples, worse than botting.

I don't really see what's wrong with selling EXP since it's generally available (or it should be).

Is there any game in particular that you're venting your frustration at?

I know it online MMO that does that.

Battle of immortals: To upgrade your skills to higher levels you have to pay with both Gold and XP. Meaning do you want that level up or make your skills stronger >.>. and once you start getting into the high levels its takes longer to get back the XP you used to level up your skills so you can fight against higher level mobs and in dugeons.

Well if you NEED to buy gold to unlock skills then it's probably just some terrible Pay2Win game.

Unskippable tutorials. Oh my god, unskippable tutorials. I mean, the first time through they can be useful, but secondary playthroughs and so on become very aggravating when you have to sit through the same. thing. over. and. over.

Worst offenders: Rayman 3, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
