Bad Endings That Ruined Otherwise Great Games?

The Dark Knight

Okay, I just got done with Mass Effect 3 and for anyone that has also beaten it, you will probably understand me when I say the ending was awful. Out of all the potential endings there wasn't a single satisfying one that I could find (I wound up with one of more horrible ones). The game up until that final point (just before the downhill charge) was stellar and I was close to calling it best in the series, but the ending absolutely wrecked it for me and I'm finding alot of other people are saying the same thing.

EDIT: Yeah, it was so bad I pretended it ended totally differently. If you care enough to see my version, here's a spoiler. (Pro Tip: Spoilers often contain spoilers, specifically about Mass Effect 3)
Squadmates live. Anderson is injured, but lives. Illusive Man is executed by you. You set off the Crucible and are attacked by Reaper forces. Falling back, you're attacked by actual Reapers. The Normandy saves you just in time and Joker leads Harbinger into the center of the blast as the Crucible and Citadel merge and fire an energy burst that eradicates all Reapers and Reaper forces across the universe. You land on Earth and congratulate eachother and gaze into the sunrise with your love interest.
So, my question is this: has anyone ever played through a game that they found to be good and had the ending ruin the whole thing?

Pokemon Black & White.
You go through all of this effort, and finally defeat the bad guy, only for the credits to roll. Unlike the previous generations, where you still had to defeat the Champion, that's the post-credits end-game! Sure, you defeated [s]People for the Ethical Treatment of Pokemon[/s] Team Plasma and supposedly saved the world, but you aren't the Champion of the Unova Pokemon League! What a cop-out!

Actually, the ending to B/W is justified, considering that people were incredibly tired with all the main Pokemon games ending the same way. Besides, you can be Champion post-game and it still fits the feeling. Partners in Time's ending, however, just felt too weird. Ending are usually supposed to resolve things, but I felt that the ending in that game resolved nothing for me. All it has done is left me very confused, and I don't know why.

seeing as N beat Alder, and then you beat N... you technically ARE the champion.

Having only beaten the game yesterday, I actually thought the ending was a very good way to cap-off the adventure, and I think it actually does set the stage for Black and White 2.

You think you saved the day until. .. . BAM.... to be continued.... )=(
There are ways of doing a "To Be Continued" and still having an awesome conclusion, and KH1 is such an example. Apparently Final Fantasy XIII-2 is not.

I actually find myself seeing more endings in anime, mostly because nearly every anime I watched last year was either depressing, disappointing ending, or was 5D's, which was neither.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

It took me about a day to beat the final boss, and then what do I get? Bam. Redo everything

^This.
It felt like too much was left hanging in the open, and if they make a sequel hook ending, they better follow it up and make that forth game. And give Felix and Sheba some more screen time. (NOT IMPLYING THEY ARE TOGETHER, BUT STILL). I'm derailing now, ain't I?
Also, Mother 3.

Are you talking about the Chimera? Because, you know, that's not the "true" final boss. The Sol Blade opens a lot of doors leading to the true challenges of the world. I'm talking Dullahan, the Ancient Demon, and the rest of the world bosses.

Bonus bosses. You will not, in fact, have an extra ending if you beat Dullahan. Just a bragging rights reward. Proof of this is how you are sent back to the pre-Chimera scene after getting the ending.
