Fighting Games.

Recommended Posts

From the 2D action of Street Fighter to the 3D beat downs of Dead or Alive to the platforming chaos Smash Bros, fighting games are great and have a long history in gaming. I love fighters and I know many others do to!

Talk about anything Fighter related.

To get started...

Did anyone else hate when they changed Talim's moveset in SC3? I was she was my main until they changed her.

I don't like Baze Blue and think this is the best fighter ever

But it's guilty gear >_> SFA3 is awesome, sure.

also, did SFA3 have an awesome story mode? A survival mode? A Mission mode? 4 Colour Palettes containing 5 colours(4 if you unlock Gold/Black, but whatever) for everyone? Characters with realistic personality arcs? Oh, I also nominate this:

Arcade mode was story mode, yes, sorta, No but only becuase it came before things like that. The game came out in the 90's/ early 00's Blaze Blue came later.

The only fighting games that I have ever really played thus far are Tekken and Soul Calibur, although Shard is constantly telling me to go out and buy BlazBlue Extend. I'm saving up my money to buy Tales of Xillia; it's been decided.

Talim in SC2 was horrible. Talim in SC3 was surprisingly agile, despite her lack of powerful moves. Talim in SC4 was toned down quite significantly. The most overpowered character in SC4 is still Sophitia, though.

Don't listen to Shard he is always going on about those games. I don't like them. Nor would I recommend them. Unless your hardcore into comboing and overpowerd characters.

Yea I was beast with Talim in SC2. I could beat any challenger!! mWAHAHAHA! Then they changed her and now I suck with her. >:C Though now I'm strangely best with Saungmina.

My favorite characters from SC4:

Yun-Seong (so easy to spam his best moves and the opponent can't do squat)
Hilde
Xianghua
Heishiro
Taki
Amy (they actually made her playable in this game!)
Zasalamel (though his fighting style significantly changed from "assaulter" to "reactionary")
The Apprentice (Darth Vader was slow as hell)
Setsuka (although she was significantly toned down with her combo attacks from SC3. Also boobs.)
Sophitia (so overpowered, especially with Love. Also boobs.)

From SC3:

Setsuka (most definitely because of her bad-ass combos.)
Cassandra (severely nerfed in SC4, but she was bad-ass on this one. Also boobs.)
Sophitia (overpowered, it was so easy to spam her best unblockable attack, and if you didn't guard it, you had no chance to defend it. Also boobs.)
Hwang
Zasalamel
Cervantes
Taki (it was always so fun to confuse the opponent with all of her rolls. Also boobs.)

But yeah, my general consensus is that I like those characters that are strong, and who doesn't?
