Kingdom Xathers
LIGHT/Level 10/Dragon/Effect/3300 ATK/3200 DEF Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 Level 8 or higher Dragon-Type monsters from your side of the field or Graveyard. This card gains 400 ATK for each banished Dragon-Type monster. Once per turn: you can target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK or DEF, whichever was higher. This card cannot attack during the turn this effect was activated. This card's effect cannot be negated. ... your thoughts, YCM? Link to comment
evilfusion
I don't get why it's both a "Blue-Eyes" and a "Photon". Specifically, because Blue-Eyes has nothing to do with Photon. If it was Galaxy-Eyes Shining (Photon) Dragon, I'd understand it a bit more. Galaxy-Eyes is deliberately designed to be a parallel to Blue-Eyes White Dragon, reinforced by Neo Galaxy-Eyes being a three-headed 4500 dragon. But Blue-Eyes itself has no relationship to Photon Dragon. The naming aside, the Summoning Condition is absurdly simple to fulfill, and it'll gains 1200 ATK, plus more if I'm understanding the effect correctly. That makes it at least 4500. It's also a Semi-Nomi, so it can be revived after it was Summoned correctly, and with such an easy Summoning Condition and massive ATK, this is problematic especially since a Deck running this would probably use REDMD anyway. Next, its effect. Once per turn, it can banish any opposing monster for absolutely no cost, and then it burns them the same way Evil HERO Inferno Wing does. This gets by all the anti-destruction effects (Zenmaines, Gachi, Stardust, etc) and does burn damage. Attached to a 4500+ monster, this is just too much, even if this monster can't attack afterwards. So yes, way too powerful. The Summoning Condition is too easy especially if you add the Trade-In engine to a Deck that already runs REDMD. It gets too much of a boost for banished Dragons, counts every player's banished Dragons, starts with already massive ATK, and has a BLS- Envoy banish effect with added Burn, all for no cost. Agro
Seems too easy to summon. For a monster starting out at over the ATK of BLS with an effect basically just like BLS, having 3 of these is just stupidity. And it's effects can't even be negated? FuFu IS still a card by the way. evilfusion
Eww. I didn't even notice the "this card's effect cannot be negated". Now it's even more broken. Also, why is its starting stats 3300/3200? For something that easy to Summon, plus prone to boosts, that's just wrong. And just a nitpick, if it's supposed to be a "Shining" form, it doesn't fit the other Shining/Darkness forms that exist. Namely, the stats are the same as its counterpart. Blue-Eyes Shining is a 3000/2500. Red-Eyes Darkness is a 2400/2000. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal is a 2800/2400. This...has 3300. Um... Link to comment
