Level 2/Wind
Winged Beast/Tuner/Effect
When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you can discard 1 card from your hand to Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster from your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, "Axis Mage" monsters you control cannot be targeted by the effects of Trap Cards.

Axis Mage - Esclaad the Fiendish Deny

The selected monster can attack your opponent's Life Points directly until the End Phase of your turn. If a Synchro monster is Summoned while this card is on the field, you can Special Summon 1 Tuner monster from your Graveyard. If this card is Synchro Summoned while there is another "Axis Mage" on the field this card gains 500 ATK.

Both are seem to be made for quick synchro though I vote for Axis Mage, it is less generic and its monster cards can not be useless in your field, hand or deck, anyways I want to point out that you did not write the synchro materials (propley 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters) and Theif card adding effect target (deck !?).
Renegade free super token and more generic use allows simple powerful decks which I see as game killer, sorry but really that field spell needs to be less providing.

I have to give it to Renegades the axis mages are broken

First card is balanced even though it goes for gachi

Second card is insane. As stated before the requirements for synchro are not listed, but who cares because anything other than all Axis Mage monsters breaks it even farther. You synchro summon him slap a catastor and now your Dark Simorgh can swing directly and the drawback is...well there isn't one. AND I get to special summon tuners whenever you synchro. AND I get a power boost that puts me at a basic 2800. Yeah to powerful.

Third card is nice the piercing seems to be a random after thought effect though

Fourth card is a problem. I understand the attempt of making it slow but technically the card is on your side of the field for main phase 1 because you summoned it to your side of the field meaning you can pop him for all other copies of him and then arrive at a choice meaning a free deck thinner and you put 3 darks in the grave so hello first turn DAD. I would recommend re-wording that card.

care to review the renegades also?

1-1

Sure sorry for my lateness I don't often make my way to contest.

Well long story short the archetype is really two good cards and 2 other cards.

Renegade Battleground: What a beautiful synchro spam specimen. It makes T.G. Hyper Librarian so much more fun as you clearly have the option to synchro every turn the card is on the field. I don't really care for the whole special summoning of Renegades after death part because that means with further support the card could become broken. But with just these 3 monsters its okay.

Warrior: I assume he is meant to throw tokens into the way of the bullets and get the effects but that really just makes him decent. Would you not just use the beauty of the field card to summon a tuner and sync him off lol.

Razor Blade: This is basically a Vanilla. Under no circumstance could I justify giving up 3 level changing tuners for him just so he can eat away at more of my level changing tuners. Did I not mention the fact that I have level changing tuners on my field lol?

Spell blaster: 1500 attack directly, yeah I might forgo my awesome level changing tuners if I had at least two of him on the field lol and at least with him my level changing tuners now become level changing tuner negation bullets. Beautiful.
