Aeon (Archetype)

Has some relation to the concept of Aeons in Gnosticism, but I don't have a good enough understanding of Gnosticism to incorporate its ideas into the cards.

(I am aware that "Genesis Star God, Sophia" is borrowed from Gnosticism already.)

In this archetype, Aeons are Spirits, and they are represented by an elemental being. Their effects focus on Special Summoning Aeon Tokens and Tributing them to activate effects from the hand. There is also an improved version for each, but they cannot summon Aeon Tokens themselves, and rely on Tributing Aeon Tokens of the same Type. Here's what I have so far:

Water elemental: Undine

Aeon Aequus
Water, Level 1
Fairy/Spirit
Returns to the owner's hand during the 2nd End Phase after this card is Summoned. When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. When a monster is Fusion Summoned, Ritual Summoned, or Synchro Summoned, you can Special Summon this card from your hand and Tribute 1 "Aeon Token" to negate the Summon and destroy the monster.

Water, Level 8
Fairy/Effect
You can Special Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Aeon Aequus". Tribute 1 "Aeon Token" of the same Type as this card to activate 1 of the following effects:
· Target 1 monster in your opponent's hand or Graveyard, and Special Summon it to their side of the field. Your opponent cannot perform another Special Summon this turn.
· Target up to 2 monsters on your field. The targeted monster(s) cannot be destroyed by battle this turn, and returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase.

Returns to the owner's hand during your 2nd End Phase after this card is Summoned. When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. When a Trap card or Effect Monster's effect is activated, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, and Tribute 1 "Aeon Token" to negate the effect. The negated effect cannot be activated again during this turn.

You can Special Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Aeon Cerasin". Tribute 1 "Aeon Token" of the same Type as this card to activate 1 of the following effects:
· When a Spell Card is activated, you can negate the activation and destroy it.
· Force the activation of an Effect Monster's effect, if the timing of the activation of the effect is incorrect, negate the effect and destroy the monster.

Air elemental: Wyvern (I'd use Sylph, but from what I gather, they'd be Fairy as well)

Dragon/Spirit
Returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. You can Tribute 1 "Aeon Token", and Special Summon this card from your hand to target 1 card on the field, and shuffle it into the Deck. The controller of that card then draws 2 cards.

Dragon/Effect
You can Special Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Aeon Fuga". Tribute 1 "Aeon Token" of the same Type as this card to activate 1 of the following effects:
· Add up to 2 "Aeon" monsters on the field or your Graveyard to your hand, then discard 1 card.
· Return 2 cards on each side of the field to their owner's Decks. If you returned an "Aeon" monster with this effect, draw 2 cards.

Earth elemental: Beetle (Gnomes aren't known for their amazing reproductive rates, so I'm not using them)

Returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. Each time an "Aeon Token" is Special Summoned, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon an additional "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card.

Aeon Phalanx
Earth, Level 8
Insect/Effect
This card is destroyed when its DEF is below 500. You can Special Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Aeon Legion". Discard 2 cards to activate 1 of the following effects:
· Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token" for each "Aeon" monster you discard with this effect, its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. Decrease this card's DEF by 500.
· This turn, whenever an "Aeon" monster would be removed from the field, decrease this card's DEF by 500.

One each for Light and Dark:

Aeon Virtus
Light, Level 5
Thunder/Effect
During any Standby Phase and End Phase, you can return this card from the field to the owner's hand. When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. Whenever an "Aeon Token" is removed from the field, place 1 counter on this card. This card gains 400 ATK and DEF for each counter. You can remove 1 counter to destroy 1 card on the field.

Aeon Insol
Dark, Level 6
Spellcaster/Effect
At any time, you can return this card from the field to the owner's hand. When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Aeon Token", its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK, and DEF are the same as this card. When a monster on your side of the field is attacked, you can Special Summon 1 "Aeon" monster from your hand to negate the attack. While this card is in your hand, you can Tribute 1 "Aeon Token" of the same Type as this card to return 1 "Aeon" monster from the field to the hand, and inflict damage equal to its ATK to your opponent's life points.

Field Spell
Tribute 3 "Aeon Tokens" to activate this card. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, cards discarded from your hand are shuffled into the Deck instead. During each of your End Phases, this card gains 1 Aeon Counter for each additional card in your hand that surpasses the hand limit. When an "Aeon Token" would be Tributed, you can remove Aeon Counters from this card instead, equal to the Level of the monster whose effect is activated. When this card would be removed from the field, you can place 3 cards from your hand into the Graveyard to negate that effect for this card only/destroy the opposing Field Spell Card.

Aeons are played mostly for their effects from the hand, while the heavy-hitters are supposed to be Archons, which focus on the field and depleting both player's hands/Decks. I'm planning on making "Archons" as Synchro, as well as Lesser Aeons as Tuners, but I don't have a good enough grasp on those game mechanics to be able to make them yet. I'd appreciate any comments on whether the ones I have so far are balanced or not, as well as suggestions for finding images.
