Giga Hand
Goal of set: get in, do thing, get out. Done via guess-what-existing-card. Armunition - Flame Typhoon FIRE/Machine/Level 4/1600 ATK/700 DEF When this card is Special Summoned: draw 1 card for every card that was Special Summoned at the same time as this card (including this card), then discard 1 card. Armunition - Gigavolt Flashlight LIGHT/Machine/Level 1/200 ATK/300 DEF When this card is Summoned: add 1 "Armunition" monster from your Deck to your Hand, except "Armunition - Gigavolt Flashlight". You can tribute this card to target 1 "Armunition" Monster from your Graveyard, except "Armunition - Gigavolt Flashlight"; Special Summon that target. Its effect is negated. Armunition - Piercing Crossbow WIND/Machine/Level 4/1800 ATK/600 DEF If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a Quick-Play Spell card: you can destroy 1 card on the field. Armunition - Megaton Cannon EARTH/Machine/Level 3/1500 ATK/1800 DEF When this card is Special Summoned: target 1 Level 4 "Armunition" monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. Armunition - Failed Superweapon EARTH/Machine/Fusion/Level 1/0 ATK/0 DEF 3 "Armunition" monsters When this card is Fusion Summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by this effect: target 2 "Armunition" monsters from your Graveyard; Special Summon those targets. Armunition - Flame Volley Launcher FIRE/Machine/Fusion/Level 6/2500 ATK/2300 DEF "Armunition - Flame Typhoon" + "Armunition - Piercing Crossbow" Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Material monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned in other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: add 1 Quick-Play Spell card from your Deck to your Hand. Armunition - Magma Ball Howitzer FIRE/Machine/Fusion/Level 7/2700 ATK/2500 DEF "Armunition - Flame Typhoon" + "Armunition - Megaton Cannon" Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Material monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned in other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Special Summon 1 "Armunition" monster from your Deck. Once per turn: you can return 1 card from your Graveyard to the Deck. Armunition - Gigantic Bolt Ballista EARTH/Machine/Fusion/Level 6/2500 ATK/1900 DEF "Armunition - Piercing Crossbow" + "Armunition - Megaton Cannon" Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Material monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned in other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: your opponent discards 1 card and you draw 1 card. Superweapon Laboratory Quick-Play Spell Card Send monsters listed on an "Armunition" Fusion monster from your Hand or Field to the Graveyard and Special Summon an appropriate monster from your Extra Deck (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon). Then, add 1 "Armunition" Monster from your Deck to your Hand. Laboratory Blueprints Normal Spell Card Add 1 "Superweapon Laboratory" from your Deck to your Hand. Link to comment
Blake
Flame Typhoon seems fairly solid, and almost broken, but not quite there given anything it can do can be done better. At least, at first look. Gigavolt is insanely broken. First off, searching another copy of itself is broken as hell, and was the original reason E-HERO Stratos was limited. Then it can revive anything from the grave within it's archetype, albeit effect negated. Crossbow seems simplistic, yet bad. Will revisit at the quickplay. Megaton doesn't seem so bad, given it lacks a self-ss clause. Will see soon. Superweapon is a touchy one, given it's at least a -3 to summon in an effective manner, until you consider Future Fusion. It's a stupid good target that can just set up your entire Grave for shenanigans. Really broken because of that. Specific materials are really bad, so Flame Volley still seems bad, given you want your materials in the grave and Polymerization is really bad, too. Magma Ball seems not half bad, except it still requires Polymerization or Fusion Gate, the latter causing anti-synergy with the archetype. Also, is the return effect MANDATORY? But you know returning 1 card is broken, even on a card that's not good, right? That's way too broad. Ballista: specific fusions are bad, once again. Discard is also bad, so make it send a card, not discard. It at least pays for itself... This Quickplay is just.... wat. It's still a -1, at least, but it removes the bad part of the specific fusions. It also breaks the whole archetype wide open, given the ability to recycle at will and fuse in the opp's turn without repercussion. It breaks all of the cards, with the exception of Piercing Crossbow which is absolutely terrible, to an absolutely absurd point that makes me wonder if you're actually serious. The Spell needs to be seriously nerfed. Fusing from the deck, hand reliance or not, is stupidly broken. And restrict failed weapon, because Large Material FuFu targets are bad design. Link to comment
Giga Hand
Gigavolt is insanely broken. I originally intended it to be able to be able to get the materials for any fusion, but I will change it because I made a few mistakes from typing at 2 AM.
Megaton doesn't seem so bad, given it lacks a self-ss clause. Will see soon.
But it DOES have a self-ss clause. It isn't level 4, is it?
Uhh... Poly into this (-2), search De-Fu (-1), use De-Fu (-1 still), effects of Flame and Piercing (+1). "Bad" my ass, that's just with poly, which is, as you said, really bad.
Magma Ball seems not half bad, except it still requires Polymerization or Fusion Gate, the latter causing anti-synergy with the archetype.
I was going to post a card that does the same thing, then realised it was limited despite being, as you said, bad. Restricting to match the effect of a similar, but unlimited card. EDIT: Changed back because the card I was thinking of isn't Evigishki Mind Augus, which to my knowlege no one who knows what they're doing runs. While I respect your opinion, I have the right to disagree.
This Quickplay is just.... wat.
Again, posted at 2 AM, so I may have made a few mistakes. Looking at it again, it's pretty much "discard 1 card dump 1 card SS a fusion". Removing the bad part of the specific fusions was the point, but I have Gigavolt for that, the QP part was for greater support with the archetype... yeah, now that I looked it seems kinda OP, though not to the degree you imply. Nerfin' for less consistency. Also, adding a card. Link to comment
