It's like Emerald, the difficulty curve is actually noticeable but still not insane. It's a kid's game after all, and even though they're trying to market to an older audience their main audience is still gonna be the little whippersnappers.

Nice to feel at least remotely challenged by a pokemon game though, especially with my type choices (I swear if I see another Magneton I'm gonna punch someone).

That made no sense, Emerald was the easiest Pokemon game ever, By the Elite 4 (I didnt overlevel on purpose) I have Pokemon in the Level 80's to 90!

idk how you do that by mistake. =/

In Emerald, there was a noticeable good difficulty curve for the gyms, in that you actually had to train your team a decent amount for each one, the E4 was pretty easy in both Emerald and BW2 so I don't see what their relevance is.

Sounds like you did, by a lot. Yuzuru and I played through Emerald at the same time, with 3 pokemon, and by the end our Pokemon were in the low 50's. We battled every trainer, except for the ones in the water cause they gave shitty EXP anyway. :/

Of course, E4 wasn't really hard, except for Sidney for me cause I had a rather annoying time fighting Dark types.

As for B/W 2, I'm not entirely sure if I'm getting one yet, but the wild Eevee's a really making me think about it, <3

As Chris said earlier, the difficulty curve compared to the original Black and White is quite noticeable, so yes, it is a tad harder to keep up.
On another note, I started White 2 and I just caught a wild Eevee - I'm planning to evolve it into an Espeon.

Reasons I'm not too keen on B/W:

1. They got rid of the battle frontier (I mean, really!?)
2. Emboar is a cheap rip-off of Blaziken, and Serperior is a wannabe Sceptile
3. You have to actually catch Eevee
4. If you get pokemon from previous gens over to Black or White and then trade them via. C-Gear to the other version, the Gym Leaders are so easy to crush (not defeat, crush)
5. N is a weak-minded, pathetic version of Silver.

1. Who cares?
2. That totally defines the whole gen
3. OMG WILD EEVEES FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, SO ABUSED
4. So because you went out of your way to abuse the system, you're complaining?
5. ... Silver was an a****** who got character development to become a better person. N is in it for a good reason, just misled who didn't change until the end. They aren't comparable beyond bosses' son and rival-esque.

Seriously, this is all bull.

EDIT: Trophy Garden doesn't count towards 3.

Oh oh oh, my turn!

1. Black said what I was going to. :(
2. How the f*** does a pig rip off a chicken? And a snake rip-off a gecko? They're just like any other pokemon, taken from things in real life and given modifications to make them seem cool and different.
3. Er, so? Nothing wrong with a pokemon being found in the f***ing wild, like how you're meant to catch them.
4. You can literally do that in ANY Pokemon game.
5. So by having a different personality he's inherently worse? From what I checked, him, Cheren and Bel pretty much gave your 3 rivals all the personalities they really could without the animal cruelty thrown in. Silver isn't even comparable.

Why does everyone hate things about this game? I mean, really. First, you can catch TONS of legendary pokemon, more than in any other game! You've got the regis, the Lake Trio, the Musketeers, the Kami Trio, the Tao Trio, Latias and Latios, and normal pokemon that are hard to find, like Eevee! I really wish you could get Rayquaza though...

I am so pissed no remakes this is gay as hell they have f***ing black 2 white 2 what a great ttitle I'm so mad right now
Um, why? This is several times better than Black/White (3rd version always is) and just remaking the games has gotten old. I'm really happy they are going with a sequel this time around.

I'm gonna get this, but I really hope they spend a lot of time making one for the 3DS or *gasp* Wii U. It would be sweet to have one in 3d again. Keep the game mechanics the same, just focus on an engaging story and an engrossing world. If they keep on just adding more Pokemon, they're going to run out of ideas, and it's going to get stale. That's my 2 and a half cents.

Oh. Oops. Nintendo screwed up. Oh well. They already did that when they made Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword so painstakingly difficult. But this does seem to be a rather new thing. I'm really not sure about it yet. I mean, what's with Team Plasma? Evidently they now want to take over the world? And how'd they reform anyways? Ghetsis' jail sentence couldn't have been THAT short, right?
