Are you a dictator or benevolent leader? Either way try out Nation States.

Really fun game. You make a country and get issues every so often [you pick how often] and these decisions guide your country in whatever path they would in real life.

My country: http://www.nationsta..._the_free_sheep

If you want I can explain the economic benefits of free sheep.

In a realistic sense, being a dictator ensures that your people will follow you down the path, no matter what. If you are benevolent, someone will always try to take that position for themselves, and some people will start to become jealous of other people because they got gifts while the others didn't. If you're a dictator, sure you have a strict rule, but there is an equal, level field across all boards of spectrum, although it may not be the nicest kind of rule. This issue is stretched in the game I'm making, "The Promised Land", in which the main antagonist preaches that his rule is the best fit for a broken country, but instead takes his "dictatorship" for "absolute control".

As for the game in the OP, I'll check it out later.

No it doesn't. It ensures you'll rule a country with an iron fist until somebody's able to rally people into a large enough army to throw more dipsh*ts than you can kill off until you finally fall.

I got that one. I upheld freedom of expression.

But to uphold freedom of expression you would have to accommodate both parties. Freedom of expression means being able to read, write or even condemn what you wish.

So you would have to essentially protect the book, whilst allowing the annoying people to complain.

I hope you know there are limits to what you can do with that. Suppose a guy decides to go around with a shotgun firing shots into the air to express himself. He's not hurting anyone, but you going to allow that?
