Skrillex

Not a fan of dubstep. Used to like him when he was in From First To Last though hate that they change into a poster child for scene music when he joined them. They looked like normal human being before he joined and after he left the band.

Path of Totality is the first time I heard them. The album was meh, and personally I think all dubstep is meh. So Skrillex using common sense, to me, is meh.

I don't really like that many other dubstep artists, but Skrillex is an exception for me. I'm normally a rock/alternative kind of guy, but he's still currently my favorite artist. Go listen to his stuff, you're truly missing out.

Skrillex is in my opinion an overrated dubstep producer but shouldn't be underestimated because after all, he was one of the people who happened to make Dubstep become mainstream. I don't really like Skrillex because I'm not a fan of oscillation sounds. But there is one thing I know and I absolutely F*CKING love drum and bass. Because of the freaking tempo it plays at!

Even though I love dubstep, I don't like people viewing me as a hardcore metal dubstep fan (no offense to people who love metal, I just need to use an example). I mean of course, there's nothing wrong with that but that doesn't mean I hate RnB, Rap, Pop and other genres. I think drum and bass is the way to go, have you tried it?

i have to agree with those commenting about his past career with From First to Last, he had some real promise as the front-man, but since the operation he can't sing as much, and although i dislike that particular genre of music i admire how he's kept himself going in the music industry as an artist, instead of fading into the background to become a producer or label exec. like most, I admire his perseverance in that sense, but he could of chose a better outlet for his creativity than dubstep in my opinion, he did have that kind of skill, if you ask me.

I'm not a fan of his works. Sure, people consider him to be a good musician, but his music just doesn't rub me the right way.

Yeah, you do really have to be "into" his music to get it. Definitely.

Doubt many people can actually criticise him as a dubstep/brostep artist though.
