"...I see." Teresa said, without any outward reaction. If lack of sentiments was what she needed, the Queen had probably hit the spot with this one.

"Then, would you please guide me to where this meeting shall take place?"

As Daigali steped out of the throne room he was greated by a messenger. "Captain Daigali Sir! Scout from Kodrak reporting in!" shouted the scout. "From Kodrak? What is all this about Soldier? Has something happend?" said Daigali. "I'm afraid so sir! There has been an uprising within the city. There is talk of overthrowing the Queen!" said the scout. "I see...You have done good to report this to me soldier! Report this to the Queen and then rest up from your journey. I will deal with this myself." Daigali said as he turned and exited the Castle.

When he reached the Castle gate his dragon Somigolio returned from her mission at the main gate and landed near him. "Daigali there you are! I have delivered the message and the gate is closed!" she said with an excited tone. "Good job my friend but we have a bigger problem in Kodrak. There is an uprising at hand that we have to deal with. Are you up to it?" Daigali said as he mounted his Dragon back. "For the Queen I would give my life! Lets Go!" she roared as she quickly rose up and beagn to head toward Kodrak.

Yuviou was ushered out from the throne room by the guard, who comforted her to stop crying, but it didn't help. Her fear of losing Sario was too strong, so she was then brought to the hospitol to see Sario. And only when the doctor said he would be alright did she loosen her tears. She ran inside Sario's room and stopped at his bed. She sat down beside him and stared at him for several minutes. After an hour had passed, she had already dozed off, laying her head on the side of the bed.

"How do you intend on training, Vilias?" Kaelthas asked slowly.

"I need to work on my commands. White dragons are able to use spells, is that correct?" Vilias responded.

"That is indeed correct. White dagons are masters at controlling the air."

"Okay. Then I need to control the air as well. If I want to be a great warrior...I need to learn the way of the dragon."

"How do you intend on doing that?"

"I was relying on you."

"Oh. I can teach you my ways."

"Thanks."

"First...you will learn the basic stances. There are two stances: Aor Defiso and Aor Ofiso. In English it translates to Defensive Air and Offensive Air."

"Okay...I want to be able to protect myself before I can attack. Aor Defiso first."

"Okay. You must make your movements mimic those of a white dragon. Your arms will be your wings. A white dragon using Aor Defiso holds their wings overlapping each other, like so." Kaelthas rose to her hind legs and covered her face with her wings. Her tail provided her support.

"Okay. I see that your wings are covering your face and your tail is a balance. If I want to mimic that..." Vilias slowly raised his arms to cover his face. He crossed them like an X over his face. He then widened his stance to a point where his left leg was farther back than his right."

"That's it. That is the basic Aor Defiso stance. Now for Aor Ofiso." Kaelthas lowered down to a neutral stance. "Aor Ofiso is dangerous when utilized properly. For a dragon, we keep our tails level with the ground. Raising and lower the tail provides direction for our attacks. Our wings are out wide so that we may guide the air around them." Kaelthas demonstrated this. She leveld her tail with the ground and was standing on all fours. Her wings were outstretched.

Vilias mimicked this action. He lowered his torso and bent his legs a little until his torso was parallel with the ground. He spread his arms out wide. He looked smilar to Kaelthas.

"Excellent. Now for basic attacks in Aor Ofiso. The basic attack is called Aor Silcio, or Air Slice. It is commonly used to ward off small foes, but can be used in succession to take down larger ones. Just step forward and sweep either arm in a clean arc." Kaelthas demonstrated it and a small gust of wind sliced down a small tree.

"I don't think I can do that," Vilias sighed.

"You wished to learn my ways. If a human can learn to control darkness, they can control air as well," Kaelthas said wisely.

"Alright...I'll try." Vilias returned to his Aor Ofiso stance and swing his arm. He felt his arm grow cold and then warm again. A small gust of air similar to Kaelthas' cut down the same tree. "Whoa."

"Feels different, huh?" Kaelthas asked.

"Uhh...is my arm supposed to be cold then warm?" VIlias asked her.

"Yes. It happens to dragon's wings all the time. There is nothing to worry about," she responded.

"Can I do the same thing in Aor Defiso?" Vilias asked.

"Yes, although it will only deter them instead of harm. You see, the two stances only differ in the type of air that they use. Aor Ofiso uses oxygen, helium, and neon. Aor Defiso uses hydrogen. Hydrogen passes cleanly through the body on its own, however, when conentrated it will repel anything in its path. It will not harm. The combination of oxygen, helium, and neon creates hard air. This hard air cuts the skin instead of repeling it like hydrogen." Kaelthas explained.

"Okay. Train me more," Vilias said.

"Fine. You will be a wind tamer in no time."

"I plan on it." Vilias and Kaelthas continued training for three months. Seven hours every day. At the end, Kaelthas said that Vilias had all the knowledge he needed of wind control.

"Thank you. I mean it," Vilias said.

"You're welcome," Kaelthas said. Vilias looked to the sky and smiled. He was ready to fly to Naahg and confront their leader.

Alessandra didn't immediately answer Teresa. Instead, she walked up to the thick Ionic column that composed the center of the throne room and pulled something aside, revealing a hollow opening.

"Throw a match in... and have an apathetic dragon breathe fire in... and the Spirits will be called..." she murmured, more to herself than to Teresa, but still audible.

Suddenly, a falcon whipped into the room, called, and flew right back out the window.

"It seems we'll need contact sooner than we've thought," the queen said grimly. "Kodrak is rebelling for reasons unknown, and Irut hates us. Call Isley. Contact will be required. Now." She darted to the window, gave her melodious whistle, drew her weapons, and jumped out.

Without a single word, Teresa withdrew her massive blade from her back. The sickening noise of metal grinding against flesh resounded in the chamber, as the Valkyrie ran the sharp edge of her blade along her left arm, cutting open a shallow gash.

Many soldiers had developed a way of summoning their dragons from afar in case they were separated with no means of direct contact. For Teresa, that way was ready to begin with - that way lay in the means that had been used in the attempt to subjugate the mighty dragons, a magical seal that had bonded Isley with a practicioner of dark sorcery, and upon his death at the hands of the female warrior, had now passed on to Teresa. An offer of blood, and should Isley be afar, he would be forced to come immediately. A crude, even cruel, but efficient method.

Fast as he was, it would still take quite a few minutes for Isley to reach the location of the royal grounds. In the meanwhile, Teresa, ignoring the blood running freely from her left arm, hastened to the window, weapon in hand, following the Queen.

Sario started to stir, the pain in his shoulder was coming back to him, and the anethesia was wearing off, he was waking up. When he started gaining feeling back in his body, the feeling of a warm and gentile hand stroking his forehead faded into his nerves. He opened his eyes slowly. The first image that came to clarity was of Yuviou, stroking him with her hand, and for once, he was very happy to see her. He started to try and sit up, with difficulty but he managed to get up into a sitting position in the hospitol bed. He looked at Yuviou, tears were running down her face, but she was smiling at him. She quickly embraced him.

-"I thought you were a goner..." She said to him, tightly squeezing him.

-"Yuviou...I'm sorry to have worried you. But I'm alright, you can atleast stop crying now." He said comfortably. "And can you loosen your grip too, it's kind of hurting me."

-"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm just so happy to see you awake, I tried to tell the queen that you were back." She let go of him, and watched as he inspected his wound on his left shoulder. It was bandaged. "Ino's waiting ouside with my dragon, so she has some company. She told me what happened."

-"Well, I think I should see the queen instead. We got lucky, Irut had false information. And I have to tell Queen Allessandra about it." He made a move to stand up, but was usered back down by Yuviou.

-"The doctor said that you should rest, and for me to tell him when you wake up, Ino told him that you have info for the queen so I should tell him your awake, so he can send a messenger to go get the queen." She told him.

-"Thank you, Yuviou. Go and tell him." and she ran out, and he waited there, thinking. 5 minutes later she returned to the room, and sat down beside him and embraced him gently, remember about his wound, she didn't want to cause him any pain.

-"He just sent the message, the queen should be here any minute." And she kept her hold on him.

-"Thank you, maybe when I get some time, we can hang out, just you and me..." After he said that, she tightened her hold on him alittle bit more, but not too much.

-"I'd love too, thank you..." she responded gleefully. She laid her head onto his right shoulder, and closed her eyes. Sario used his left hand to stroke Yuviou's hair, and waited patiently for the queen.

The messanger from the hospitol entered the throne room, bowed, and handed a scroll to the queen.

-"A message from the hospitol ma'am." He bowed again and turned and left the throne room.

After giving the information to his king, Seth was ordered to return to Klathkoln with 150 men. Seth now led a a small section of Ank's military might towards what was sure to be a definite victory. He rode Rowtel like a horse into the city. "This ought to be amusing." said Seth, cutting down the first wave of resistence with a blast of air from his blade. The 1 hundred soldiers left behind in Klathkoln would surely be no match for Ank's power.

Then Seth saw someone he recognized. "Ahh, my good Lieutenaut", sighed Seth, "How nice to see you." And he drove one of his daggers into the man's chest.

Soon Daigali saw the city of Kodrak in the distance slowly getting closer. "Good job Somigolio we will be in Kodrak soon. I want you to keep a close eye on me from above as i enter the city. If i need you i'll give the signal." said Daigali as they quickly landed outside the cities entrance. "Understood Daigali!" said Somigolio as she quickly flew off and began to circle the city. "Now its time to get to the bottom of this." said Daigali as he entered the city.

OOC: nvm, I changed my mind, sense my Immortal Chronicles rp will not start for a good long while, so I redo this post...

The messanger came back to the hospitol to tell the doctor that the queen was not in the throne room. But he left the message for one of the guards to tell give to her. (the message is written on a scroll)

meanwhile, in Sario's room...

Sario's trusted sargent came to visit him, after recieving info that Sario was back.

-"So, what did you find on your journey, I hope some good info." The sargent seemed very quizmatic about the matter,

-"Well, Irut has been given false information. They think that we are going to try and take over Artarius, down in the south. They will move to reinforce that city in 2 days time, on the third day is when we strike Klathkoln, what I don't understand, is who gave them that false info. Our records don't show that order." Sario explained.

-"It's all a mystery sir, but what does it matter, this gives us an advantage. We have an ally."

-"Or maybe someone who might conflict with us. Or someone is trying to drive us out of our own city and out into the open, so that they can take this one. You have to think about these things sargent. We must speak with the queen about this matter, but not right now." He looked down at Yuviou, who was sleeping on his shoulder. "Right now, I have plans with this one. I need to spend some time away from any militarial issues, atleast for a couple day. So I'll leave you in charge for alittle longer."

-"Thank you sir, and good luck with your recovery." And his sargent saluted and left the room. Sario put his arm around the sleeping Yuviou, who shifted alittle to get more comfortable. He thought about his dragon...does she know I'm awake yet?...he thought.

Azræl circled the castle like a wolf defending its territory. Alessandra looked wherever her lover didn't. Even the remotest discovery of the operation would result in its downfall. Suddenly, Azræl detected an unfamiliar white dragon on the horizon. The was nowhere near the dread prison Keremaralen, headquarters of the operation, but it was still a potential threat.

An unnaturally powerful gust of wind not dissimilar to a tornado suddenly whipped by the duo. The dark dragon was able to hold his ground, but the gust was sufficient to knock Alessandra off her steed. Plunging towards the ground, she braced for impact...

...and fell straight through into an underground cavern.

After regaining her bearings, the queen whisted for Azræl and looked around for something to help her escape the impossibly deep hole. The only thing available to help her scale the walls was a sharp, grimy rock on the dirt floor. After pondering its presence for a moment, Alessandra snatched it up off the ground.

As she did, some of the dirt rubbed off it, revealing it to actually be a glowing, iridescent crystal. Now extremely suspicious, the warrior could only watch as white lightning began to flow up her arm, not hurting her at all, but giving her the peculiar feeling of metamorphosis...

A female human had fallen into the cavern.

A female dragon had flown out.

OOC: Damn! You guys post way too much! I'm just postin about once a day and i come back the next day and there are like a gazillion more posts...i need to catch up...

====================

"When are we heading out?" Kaelthas asked.

"Soon. I need to get a few things," Vilias responded. He sifted through some items in a closet and threw some things on the floor. He grabbed two small daggers and two sheaths. He attached the sheaths to his shins and put the daggers in them. He then grabbed a broadsword and put in in the large sheath on his back. He grabbed a small pack and put it on his waist so that the pack itself was on his left hip. He reached down and grabbed a small book and put it in the pack. He grabbed a mage's staff and put it in a sheath near the broadsword.

"Why do you have a staff?" Kaelthas asked.

"My parents made me do magic for about 12 years. I'm just gonna call my adoptive parents my parents for convenience. They made me do magic. My father made me do black magic while my mother made me do white magic. I know attacking spells and healing spells. At the end of my training, the headmaster declared me a certified mage. I can use this," Vilias explained as he put the staff into its sheath. He grabbed gauntlets and a scarf and wrapped the scarf around his neck. He put the gauntlets on.

"Why do you need gauntlets?" Kaelthas asked slowly.

"Why all the questions? Anyway, I need them for my sword. The swords hilt is rough and if I use it too much with bare hands my hands will begin to bleed. Plus the gauntlets can be used in hand-to-hand combat," Vilias explained once again. "As for the scarf, it doubles as a magical barrier. As long as I have it on, certain spells cannot affect me. Let's get going. We have a long journey ahead of us." Vilias grabbed another sack and put it on Kaelthas' thigh. He opened it and put food in one part and money in the other. Kaelthas scratched her nose on the bag trying to get the food.

"Don't touch it. We need to go," Vilias said.

"What about your parents?" Kaelthas asked soothingly.

"They don't care anyway. They go out for many hours at a time and leave me at home alone. They don't care. Let's go," Vilias sighed. He mounted Kaelthas and walked her over to the large window in his room. She leapt out of it and rose to the morning sky. Vilias and Kaelthas were on their way to Naahg.

Sario woke Yuviou up, it was taking a long time for the queen to get there, and he wandered where she was...plus he felt bored...so he asked Yuviou to see if she could find a chess set for him, she went and got one, and they both sat and played 7 rounds of chess before Yuviou had enugh of loosing to Sario.

-"Awe..But you were just getting the hang of my strategy, not very many people could survive as long as you did during that last match..."Sario complimented Yuviou, and he was right, Sario never lost a game of chess in his life, and Yuviou was the first ever to get as far as an hour.

-"Thanks Sario...but I don't think I can ever beat you anyway, I'm not the only one getting better at the game..You get better too don't forget that..."

-"I suppose your right, but I was using the same strategy during each game. Usually in chess tournaments, I change my strategy to a completely different one to keep my opponents guessing, I know they all pay attention to each of my matches, so I change it every match."

-"That's some talent."

-"Well, you seem to be feeling alot better.." Inturupted Sario's main doctor who had just entered the room.

-"Ahh, yea, thanks to Yuviou here, we had something to do for the past 3 hours."

-"Yea, beating me at chess, you should face him doctor, I bet you wouldn't last 3 turns with him..." Yuviou dared the doctor...and the doctor was smiling slyly..

-"I suppose I can do one game with you Sario.." The doctor agreed and sat down in the chair opposite of Sario and they both set up the board.

-"Good luck doctor...." Sario offered to shake hands, being the respectfull gentileman he usually is.

-"Thank you Sario, good luck to you too." The they both shook hands...

Yuviou was right, the Doctor wouldn't last more than 3 turns against Sario, infact Sario beat him in 2 moves..

-"Wow, that was very impressive, your a natural pro at this..."

-"Well, thank you doctor, the trick is to be unpretictable...I change up my strategy everytime."

-"I see that, you beat me in 2 moves..."

-"Yea, sadly that happens too often against my troops in my company...I'm very dissappointed in them when they loose so easily...But I can't really complain, they do exactly what I say every time."

-"Well, good news Sario, You are allowed to go home now, all your tests are done, you shouldn't have any problems...Your dragon is waiting at your home for you..."

-"Thank you doctor, I was wandering about Ino for some time now..." And Sario stood up, with some support from Yuviou, and walked out of the building...And walked with Yuviou back to his house...

Alessandra decided to adapt to her unfamiliar new body by continuing to guard the prison while staying the hell away from Azræl. As she circled around the castle, she heard someone talking. It was Captain Sario:

"...they think that we are going to try and take over Artarius, down in the south. They will move to reinforce that city in 2 days time, on the third day is when we strike Klathkoln, what I don't understand, is who gave them..."

"What?!" the queen exclaimed as she heard this. "Az and I didn't make any war plans... we wanted to ally with Irut, not conquer them! Someone really influential must have been able to slip that information by us... one who really hates Irut," she finished quietly. "I'd better tell Az." She rocketed away awkwardly, still unused to her body.

Kaelthas flew with Vilias for five straight hours. She was beginning to slow down and Vilias wondered why.

"Are you okay?" Vilias asked.

"No. I'm tired. I need to rest my wings. If I don't rest my wings they will lock up and I won't be able to move them. I will be grounded," Kaelthas explained.

"Sorry. Land near that town over there. We can rest your wings and eat at the same time instead of eating in the air," Vilias said as he pointed down. Kaelthas flew in that direction and landed near the small town.

"Welcome to the town of Vios," Kaelthas read.

"You can read?" Vilias asked astonished.

"Yes. What did you take me for?" she responded back. Vilias walked by Kaelthas through the town. Everyone was looking at them strangely. Small children ran to their mothers. Pets fled. Older men reached for their axes and swords. Kaelthas and Vilias continued walking until they reached a pub.

"Stay here. I'll be back," Vilias said. He tied her to a post and walked inside. People started crowding around Kaelthas, who looked very worried.

"Excuse me. I need some help here," Vilias said to someone.

"What do ya want, laddie?" the man said with his back turned.

"I need directions. I was on my way to Naahg and I got lost," Vilias explained.

"No way you're gonna get there, laddie. Naahg is surrounded by terrorsome mountains and ferocious dragons. YOu won't live three feet into Naahg," the man said sinisterly.

"Well, my dragon and I were flying there," Vilias said.

"Dragon!?! You have a dragon!?! Officer! Officer! I have a dragon rider here! Arrest him!" the man yelled. Soon, many people began surrounding Vilias. Chairs were thrown at him and people began attacking him. Vilias held them off for some time, but was soon pinned to the ground and arrested by a police officer.

"Sorry, laddie. We don't like your kind here in Vios," the officer said. He walked Vilias outside. Vilias looked around and saw that Kaelthas had been roped to the ground and muzzled. People began dragging Kaelthas behind Vilias as they walked to a large building.

"Sir! I gotsa dragon rider in my possession! What do you decree?" the police officer asked a man sitting in a large chair. He turned around and his heavily bearded face looked into Vilias' eyes. He tussled his long brown hair and rubbed his black eyes.

"Execution. Both of them," he said gravely. The police officer walked Vilias back outside and to a large colleseum.

An hour later, Vilias and Kaelthas were thrown into a dark dungen below the ground. "Don't want you two gettin' out so I'm gonna stand here and watch you," the police officer said as he grabbed a chair and sat down.

"We haven't been in this town for a whole day and we are already sentenced to execution," Kaelthas said.

"Shutup. Help me figure a way out of here," Vilias said. Kaelthas looked around but couldn't find anything. Vilias ended up with the same results. "Looks like they take dragon riders seriously."

"Execution time," the police officer said. Vilias and Kaelthas had fallena sleep in the dungeon. As they were walked outside, night had set in. They were walked to the middle of the colleseum to two guillotines. The whole colleseum was filled with the people from the town.

"In front of all these people?" Vilias asked.

"Yep. It's rare we get to execute your kind. We like watchin' you laddies die," the officer sneered. Vilias and Kaelthas stepped up to the platform where the guillotines were. Kaelthas was set down and the blade was raised. Vilias looked around and saw his equipment. His sword, everything. He watched the blade go higher and higher. Kaelthas cried softly. Then, Vilias remembered that his arms were shackled in an X. He raised them and set his stance to Aor Defiso. Hydrogen repels things. If I time it right... Vilias thought to himself. He watched the blade fall and thrust his hands out right before it reached Kaelthas' head. The blade broke into many pieces. The crowd was filled with excitement.

"A demon! He's a demon!" someone from the crowd yelled. The people on the platform stepped off. Vilias removed the muzzle from Kaelthas, who bit off Vilias' shackles. Vilias used Aor Ofiso and sliced off Kaelthas' ropes. Vilias grabbed his things and hurried on Kaelthas. She rose to the sky as burning arrows were shot at them. Kaelthas swung her tail and repeled them all, then continued flying.

"How about we don't stop at unknown towns. Deal?" Kaelthas said.

"Deal," Vilias responded. He patted Kaelthas' head and laid down. He looked at the moon. What a day....what a day... he thought as he drifted off to sleep.

Sario sat in his usual chair at home, Yuviou offered to cook him seomthing, but he diclined, but she still cooked him food, she said he needed to eat, otherwise he would starve.

-"I'm still wondering who gave Irut false information, and who those people were that attacked me, they didn't have the same armor as the Irut soldiers and didn't fight in the same fashion, it was different, something I never expected." Sario pondered..

-"I don't know, but you shouldn't think about it right now..." She came back from the kitchen.

There was a knock at the door, Sario called out "Who is it!!" but no answer. Sario got up to see who it was. When he opened the door, there was a man, hooded, with a red cane that he wasn't really using for support.

-"May I help you sir...?" Sario asked,

-"You are a Naahg Captain are you?" The stranger asked...

-"Yes, but what of it...?"

-"Nothing Personal, but Irut sends it's regards..." and the stranger unshiethed a long and thin sword that was concealed within his cane, and thrusted it into Sario's left shoulder, exactly where the arrow hit him. Sario cried out in pain and fell back onto the floor, The stranger ran as the usual Naahg patrole noticed what happened, 2 of the soldiers ran after the stranger and stopped him and beat him to the ground, while the other two rushed to Sario to check if he was okay. Yuviou heard the commotion and rushed and saw Sario on the floor, she quickly pulled the sword out of the wound and tried her best to quickly rebandage his shoulder. Outside they heard the beating of wings, and 3 dragons touched down. A blue one, which had to be Ino, a Black one, which resembled Azrael, and a mysterious white one they haven't seen before, even the Ino and Azrael looked puzzled at the white dragon...

"Who are you, and why did you attack me and Azræl?" Alessandra demanded promptly of the opposite-colored dragon. "You put me in this body, and I want answers." She noted the captain's shock and didn't care. "Well? Start answering." The white dragon remained silent.

-"Queen? Is that you?..." Asked one of the guards, he seemed puzzled as a fourth dragon landed infront of them, Ino darted to Sario, finding someway to help...While Azrael looked even more puzzled at the fourth dragon...

Sario fainted again from the pain...His body fell limp in Yuviou's arms.

"If you don't know, then we've been given false information," the white dragon said. It was male. "I will have to inform the others. And, if you really are the Naahg queen," he indicated Alessandra - Azræl looked faint - "then you've touched the Makmute Stone. Touch it again, and you'll be returned to human form. Of course, you'll have to find it first." He lifted off.

"So that explains it. The Makmute Stone... but it has to be mythical..." Alessandra was still extremely confused.

"Many things are possible," Azræl pointed out, still looking faint.

"That place I fell into must have been the secret cavern that contained the Makmute Stone," the queen realized. At the sight of the bewildered humans, she elaborated.

"Legends say that humans and dragons were once the same species. There was an organic crystal that split the species up. A fragment of that crystal was supposed to have remained on Knaturighaan, and it was called the Makmute Stone. It turns humans into dragons and vice versa. It explains everything! We've got to find it," she said urgently to her lover. "It could serve as our power source."

"And we'll need to get you back to human form anyway," Azræl admitted begrudgingly. "Not many people believe the legend of the Makmute Stone." Still disappointed, the black dragons took off.

[OOC: anomu13, Alessandra's flown away to find the Makmute Stone already.]

"Are you awake, Vilias?" Kaelthas said soothingly.

"Ugh...now I am. Where are we?" Vilias grunted.

"I believe we are about 90 miles south of Ank. We are in dangerous territory. We have another 6000 miles of flight left," Kaelthas explained.

"We need to rest. We are low on food. Wait! I have a friend in Ank! She used to live in Irut be he moved to Ank. We can find her," Vilias said.

"How are we going to find her?"

"She lives on an island town. About 100 miles big. It believe it is called New Ank. There is a statue of a large dragon in the middle of town. You can't miss it... There it is! Land there!" Vilias exclaimed.

"What did I just say about unknown islands?"

"But I know this island!"

"Fine...I'll land." Kaelthas flew down lower and observed the island. She noticed that there wer white dragons and red dragons. She landed with caution. "There are red dragons. Dangerous."

"Okay. We'll be careful, right?"

"Sure." Kaelthas landed in the middle of town. Vilias stepped off and looked around. Kaelthas fit right in. Vilias walked over to a citizen and asked a question.

"Why are there so many white dragons here?" Vilias asked.

"New Ank is home to Irutians and Ankians that don't want to participate in the war. The red dragons here are nice," the lady explained. She walked away. Vilias turned around and spotted someone who looked familiar. She had short brown hair and was wearing a black bandana. She had on a white shirt and was wearing black fingerless gloves. She had on pants that were rolled up to her knees and revealed black boots.

"Kris!" Vilias explained.

"V? Is that you? How long's it been? Eight years?" Kris exclaimed from across the square.

"Yea." Vilias walked over to Kris and gave her a hug. Vilias looked up and saw a large red dragon. "I see you have your own dragon."

"Yessir. His name is Hohei," Kris said. "How long are you staying?"

"I need supplies. I don't plan on staying very long," Vilias said.

"I understand, V. Tryin' to seem all macho in front of your dragon, eh? Actin' like you don't wanna stay because you liked me when we were younger. Haha!" Kris laughed.

"You liked her?" Kaelthas said.

"A small crush...nothing big," Vilias said under his breath. "So...Hohei. How are you?"

"Tired. Been flyin' all day lookin for some food. I ain't find nothin'," Hohei explained.

"How about we leave you two alone, eh? V and I are gonna take a walk," Kris said.

"Okay," Kaelthas said in a staggering breath. She walked side by side with Hohei.

"So what brings you to New Ank?" Kris said.

"What I said. I need supplies."

"Okay. Come to my home. I can restock you." Kris put her arm around Vilias' shoulders and they walked to Kris' home.

"Ma! I brought home an old friend!" Kris exclaimed upstairs.

"Okay, dear. Coming," a voice from upstairs responded. A lady with long, greyish-white hair wearing a white dress came walking down the stairs. "Vilias? Vilias de la Hiro? It's been eight years!" she said.

"V, meet my mother, Rei Silvia," Kris said.

"Nice to meet you," Vilias said.

"Likewise. Take him upstairs to the guest room. Make him comfortable," Rei said as she walked into the kitchen.

"We should go find our dragons," Kris said.

"Yea. Let's go," Vilias agreed. The two left the house in search of Kaelthas and Hohei.

Guest Supreme Gamesmaster

A streak of light started sailing through the sunny skies suddenly as the dark dragons looked on.

"The Stone," both rulers said at once.

"I'll get supplies," Azræl cautioned. "Keep it in your sight, but don't go too far."

"It's headed for Mathal ton Usle, isn't it?" Alessandra thought. "No... further north. To New Ank." She started to follow the comet-like Makmute Stone as her fiancé appeared behind her.

"We're ready. Where will we resupply?" Azræl wondered aloud as the two dragons took off in pursuit of the stone.

"If we're lucky, we won't have to," the metamorphosized queen called to him as they strained to catch up with the flying rock. Sure enough, as they caught up with the stone...

...the air warped, and both humans crashed into the middle of New Ank, Makmute Stone embedded in the ground between them.
