.Starrk
I'm thinking maybe to stop or at least to supress spam-bots, during the registering process, people wanting to join must write why they would like to be a part of the forum. After, the registration form is sent in, the Mods could approve or disapprove of the application. I do understand that this is a premature idea being that a lot of members want to join everyday, so I would like your feedback, what would be good, and what wouldn't. CDDRodrigo
That is a big load of work for the mods. Besides Such feature would need to be added by YCMaker
ENMaker
Too time consuming, it would put people off joining I think...
Just Crouton
For a second, I thought you were reviewing new members. Do we captcha?

Lunar Origins
People join solely to use the card maker, and would like their accounts active ASAP. No support. It's pointless. Spam is like this everywhere.
CMRenji
It's not a bad idea at all, but I doubt the Mods will be willing or able to look at every new member's registration.

Northern Sage
I'm pretty sure Spambots can bypass that.

Besides Such feature would need to be added by YCMaker [/quote] That is the point. To make it work, we'd need YCMaker. To make sure that the system keeps functioning, it would require the control of YCMaker. To be certain that the validation mails arrive somewhere and that the mods can approve the answers quickly, we would be bound to have YCMaker. Most things cannot be done without our Lord. Yankee
This sort of thing has been suggested time and time again. I remember this back in 2008. It either can't happen, or won't. Probably a mix, given that our God is as active as the Christian God... Owait.
DARKPLANT RISING
As of now (February 22th), there are 27134 pages in the Member List, with each page 20 members. Just hearing that this site sounds as if it's as active as hell, but of them, 25434 pages consist of "Members" with 0 post count. Not to mention, there are only 168 pages of members who have a post count of over 100. Meaning, only 0.6 percent of YCM's "Members" have even remotely visited this forum. Yeah, a rather shocking discovery, but not really surprising either. Most people aren't a "part of the forum"; they wouldn't have anything to write. So, I say nah. I'd rather support a suggestion about making these dead people more active.
CrabHelmet
Starrk, since when do you have time to take out of your busy schedule of quitting Yu-Gi-Oh! to make stupid suggestions?
