Not as hot on the new one; it's a more versatile Dragon's Mirror, which though limited to Vanillas can still summon behemoths such as FHD and Blue Eyes Ultimate; I see it'd support Dragon decks better, and Geminis, but the recover makes it overpowered. (IMO)

I'm still against the recovery because I do generally think recyclable spells are generally powerful by their own standard, but considering the nicer tight ship, it's a'ight now.

But Gem-Knight Fusion is better anyway.

That first bit on Ultimate should read
Banish Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters listed on a Level 9 or lower Fusion Monster Card from your hand, field, or Graveyard:

You could make a ridiculous deck with the Engine. Rabbit into double Jams, Gachi. Meanwhile mill your last Jam with Swap Frog. Wait out Ultimate Fusion, then explode with Frogs.

Not to mention Ultimate Fusion works with the other Normal Archetypes. Fitting Room Heroes and Ojamas are the first things to come to mind.
