Personally, I like the show because it did in one episode what I didn't think was possible in a newfangled cartoon; make me feel proud to be a fan. It's got fanservice without turning into some sort of request show (if you catch my drift). The humor is there and no longer part of the buffoonish "HURR DURR HUR I DUN HIT MAHSELF *fart* DUURHRUHARRARA!!!" stereotype cartoons fall under today. I do follow anything Rainbow-Dash-related and some other characters (see avi =D), but to me, it's just another of these cutesy shows that are still 'cool' enough to be watched by older people.
