Akeno_Ederis_17
everything on earth is really getting freaky,, so do you think it's really possible that humans might live in space?? maybe by living on a starship?or terraforming other planets? or simply forcefully evolving humans to survive in space ? (o.O what the H**L em i sayying?)
Smear
No. And even if there are other Life-Forms somewhere in the Universe, they wouldn't be human. What do you mean, 'everything on earth is really getting freaky'? Seems normal to me. :L
Akeno_Ederis_17
everything on earth is getting freaky and all we do is say "everything on earth is getting freaky" ,, it is already disclosed that global warming CANNOT be stopped.. meaning if we want our civilizations to continue ,, we must leave earth,,, but the question is will that be possible? Akeno_Ederis_17
yes but.. can we really afford huge ships? light speed travels (which is IMPOSSIBLE according to the law of physics) can we succeed in terraforming venus or mars? ,,, based on a study, 50 years from now,, only huge countries like america and china are above sea level because of the melting of the polar ice caps.. 50 years? will it be enough? ragnarok1945
all right, well I heard mine well over 6 years ago so they probably changed it with Mars you have a point in that plus the fact because Mars is next to the asteroid belt, it gets hit by 10 times as many asteroid fragments as Earth does on a daily basis
Aniri Wulf
it is already disclosed that global warming CANNOT be stopped
I thought global warming was disproved due to the frequent changing in our Earths climate. The change of an ice age to times like now. They decided it was climactic change. But yes, I figure we move on to mars or the moon.

(simmilar to what is happening on earth) meaning mars would end up like earth in time (which would be faster because of the new technologies we might have)
I thought global warming was disproved due to the frequent changing in our Earths climate. ragnarok1945
then you need to look at the sci-fi film Iron Sky and you'll see it's a lot closer to a reality than you think
Aniri Wulf
Well, if we were to make an atmosphere on the moon, the gravitational pull wouldn't be as much of a problem due to the extra friction and the air resistance. It would still be a problem, though.

In 2018, they return to conquer" anyways you really think we haven't learned anything if in space?

CrystalCyae
The problem with the moon is that it is nowhere near large enough to hold a large sustainable population. Maybe a few spacial colonies, yes, but still. Plus, each colony would need to be fitted with either the things stronauts use, or a special gravitational device to keep gravity at a stedy pace that we dont need to be strapped to bed to avoid sleep floating. Mars would be the next option of colonization, given that it is next closest to the sun and would therefore be closer in climate to Earth than a variety of other planets in our solar system. But, given its proximity to the asteroid belt, defenses would have to be installed to ensure our safety. Personally, I'd choose Planet X as our new 'Earth' should we ever need to move. However, the long journey would require several thousand ships, several bajillion trillion billion million dollars and would take a few generations to reach. :/ SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE
