2 Level 7 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, pay 1000 Life Points, and banish any number of LIGHT monsters from your Graveyard; Banish cards from your opponent's side of the field equal to the number of LIGHT monsters banished from your Graveyard by this card's effect and inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points for each card banished by this card's effect.

@101100111000: Does In Darkness We Fight actually support DARK monsters?
And the wording of Shadows Born From Destruction seems a bit off.

Lightray Knight (Armageddon Knight)
Level 4 LIGHT Warrior/Effect

When this card is Summoned: You can send 1 LIGHT monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Lightray Sky Fire (Flying Fortress SKY FIRE)
Level 8 LIGHT Machine/Effect
ATK:3000/DEF:2500
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 LIGHT monsters with different Levels from the field, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to target 1 card on the field: Banish it. Once per turn: If your opponent Normal Summons or Special Summons a non-LIGHT monster, or Sets a card on the field: Banish it and inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

Lightray Coelacanth
Level 7 LIGHT Fish/Effect
ATK:2800/DEF:2200
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 5 or more LIGHT monsters with in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, you can banish 1 card from your hand to Special Summon as many Level 4 or lower LIGHT monsters as possible from your Deck. A monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot declare an attack, its effect(s) is negated, and it cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster while on the field. If this card is targeted by a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's effect, you can banish 1 other LIGHT monster to negate the effect and destroy that card.

The ATK of this card becomes the number of your banished LIGHT monsters x 300.

Lightray Master of the Guard (Exxod, Master of The Guard)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play all LIGHT-Attribute monsters in your graveyard. Whenever a DARK-Attribute monster is Special Summoned or Flipped face-up, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. Whenever a LIGHT-Attribute monster is banished, increase your Life Points by 800 points. Once per turn, by paying life points equal to the number of banished LIGHT-Attribute monsters you own x 100, this card gains 100 ATK and DEF for every banished LIGHT-Attribute monster you own. If you own a banished LIGHT-Attribute monster, control of this card cannot switch.

EDIT: Powered up Lightray Master of the Guard and removed Exoida parts. Better?
Also, this + Lightray Phoenix Enforcer = AMAZING.

"... win the Match"?

Yeah, that'll never fly in an actual Tournament setting. There's a reason why the other "Match Winner" monsters are Illegal.

Lightray Exxod's effect is also a little... actually, it's very underpowered effect-wise.



... that said, I'd say that if you were to rework the concept to be similar to Exodia Necross's Anime Effect, that might make it more playable, and definitely Tournament-Legal.

It's not a good idea.
And it doesn't fit the theme of the Lightrays at all.
Plus, your OCG is pretty bad.

Lightray Phoenix Enforcer -LIGHT-

[Warrior/Fusion/Effect]
3 level 8 or higher "Lightray" monsters.
Increase the ATK of this card by 300 for each of your Banished "Lightray" monsters. Face-Up LIGHT monsters cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. All battle damage done to your Life Points from battles involving "Lightray" monsters you control is inflicted to your Opponent instead.

Lightray Wildedge

LIGHT/Lv 8/Warrior/Effect/2600 ATK/2300 DEF

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from the hand) by banishing 1 Level 4 or lower LIGHT monster and 1 Level 5 or higher LIGHT monster from your Graveyard. Twice per turn: you can discard 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to target 1 monster your opponent controls; send that target to the Graveyard. This card cannot attack if your opponent controls no monsters.

I made a couple more Lightrays, and for kicks and giggles, I made them Numbers.

Number 22: Lightray Eye (Number 11: Big Eye)
Rank 7 LIGHT Spellcaster/Xyz

Once per turn: Banish 2 LIGHT monsters from your Graveyard to target 1 monster your opponent controls: Take control of that target. This card cannot attack during a turn you use this effect unless you detach 1 Xyz Material from this card.

Number 65: Lightray Jinzo
Rank 6 LIGHT Machine/Xyz
ATK:2400/DEF:2000
2 Level 6 monsters
You cannot Xyz Summon this card unless you have at least 4 LIGHT monsters in your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field: Trap Cards cannot be activated, and the effects of all face-up Trap Cards are negated. You can banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard and target 1 face-up Trap Card you control: It is no longer affected by this card's effect. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, OR banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Graveyard to target 1 Set Trap Card you control: It can be activated as if this card was not on the field.

Alright, lets break(or at least try to) Lightrays, in the way I know how.

Lightray Gallis -LIGHT-
Lvl3
[Beast/Effect]
You can Discard this card(from your hand): Send the top 3 cards of your deck to the Graveyard. Then, if all the sent cards were LIGHT monsters: Special Summon this card to your side of the field and inflict 1500 damage to your Opponent.

Lightray Quickdraw -LIGHT-
Lvl5
[Warrior/Effect]
You can send 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to your Graveyard: Special Summon this card(from your hand; Increase the level of this card by up to 3. You can Banish 1 LIGHT monster in your Graveyard: Special Summon this card(from your hand); Decrease the level of this card by up to 3. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material monster.

Lightray Valley -LIGHT-
