NumberCruncher
Okay, let's start by writing Lambda in a language that non-extraterrestrial's would understand. Lunar Plate Lambda [ EARTH / Level 8 ] [ Machine / Effect ] You can banish 3 "Plate" monsters in your Graveyard: Special Summon this card (from your hand). Once per turn: You can banish any number of "Plate" monsters in your Graveyard; Destroy that many cards in your hand, then draw cards equal to the number of "Plate" monsters destroyed by this effect. [ ATK: 3000 / DEF: 900 ] Heck, while I'm at it. Bestial Plate Beta [ EARTH / Level 4 ] [ Beast / Effect ] When this card is destroyed: Select 1 "Plate" monster from your Deck, except "Bestial Plate Beta"; Destroy it. [ ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 ] Guilty Plate Gamma [ EARTH / Level 4 ] [ Thunder / Effect ] When this card is destroyed by the effect of a "Plate" monster: Select 1 card at random from your opponent's hand and discard it. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can return this card to your Deck; Destroy 1 card in your hand or on your side of the field. Each player can only use the effect of "Guilty Plate Gamma" once per Duel. [ ATK: 1900 / DEF: 0 ] Looking through the rest of your cards, I see maybe 2 that are actually written in the correct format/are actually understandable, but I don't have time to correct your entire set right now. Lunar Origins
I don't get it. What is so hard about understanding the effects? Link to comment
NumberCruncher
I don't get it. What is so hard about understanding the effects?
The fact that you write sloppily. For instance, on Delta, you never specified whether you had to reveal the card when you drew it or whether you only had to reveal it when you drew a "Plate monster". For Alpha, besides the obvious typo of "Destroy it monster in your hand", you also haven't specified whether it can target itself with this effect or what happens in that case. Zeta, to your credit, isn't a case of not being understandable and more of a case of being sloppily written, like the ones I critiqued earlier. And even then, it's not as bad as the others. Just make the following grammatical changes, and it's fixed. Zealous Plate Zeta [ EARTH / Level 4 ] [ Fiend / Tuner ] You can target 1 card in your hand: Destroy that target, then banish this card on your side of the field or in your Graveyard. During your Standby Phase, if this card is banished: You can return 2 "Plate" cards in your Graveyard to your Deck; Add this card to your hand, then add 1 "Plate" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. [ ATK: 900 / DEF: 900 ] I don't know why you refuse to use the word "reveal" in the text for Eta, except the one time where you do, which makes the card even more befuddling. The list goes on and on.
