Sometimes generic cards work well, too.

Since I've been doing some fan fiction writing, I've often found myself wishing for a generic card here and there to throw into a Duel, as I hate being too constrained by having a character use only cards of his/her archtype. And since I was bored, I decided to go ahead and make some random generic cards. There's no main goal for them as they don't totally work in conjunction. So anyway, comments/suggestions. You people know the drill.

Rock Tri-Horn
Earth/Level 4
Dinosaur/Effect
During the Battle Phase, this card gains 400 ATK. If this card is removed from the field during the Battle Phase, Special Summon one “Rock Tri-Horn” from your Deck.

Bone Slicer
Dark/Level 4
Fiend/Effect
During the Battle Phase, your opponent’s monsters lose 1000 ATK. When this card is removed from the field, banish one Spell/Trap on the field.

Rock/Xyz/Effect
Two Level 3 monsters
When your opponent declares an attack, you can detach one Xyz Material from this card; return the attacking monster to the bottom of its owner’s Deck and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of cards they control X 300.

When this face-up card is removed from the field, you may Special Summon one monster from your Deck with a Level equal to or less than the number of counters on this card when this card was removed from the field. You can only apply this effect while you control three or fewer monsters.

Tri Horn - Tengu does everything and more (captain obvious) Solid for its use in fic I guess.

Bone Slicer - That seems a bit much for a Level 4.

Rook - *Cough* Tour Guide *Cough*

Should need more specific Xyz Material or tone in the effect.

Tidal Pressure - Mwah ha ha ha. Great troll card. Baby Tiragon will be top tier!

Panic Carnival - Great name for a card. Prett awesome set of effects as well.
