They're made of Nintendium, they don't just break without any outside help. Like a sledgehammer. Or a shotgun. Heck, I don't think those would even work. (Seeing as I'm not exaggerating and people have tested these things out.)

You seen people smash a Wii with a sledgehammer before?

Yeah, it was pretty entertaining. Playing some games on it afterwards was very satisfying. They did break the hinge things on top that close the Gamecube memory card/controller slots, so there's that.

People do crazy stuff to Nintendo stuff only to have them still work. Dragging a Gamecube behinds a car and throwing it into a pit of fire, shooting a Nintendo 64 with a shotgun, dropping Gameboys from a few stories up (well, it's a handheld, not a console, but still)...

Also, it's a handheld but I'm sure you've heard of the Gameboy that survived a Gulf War bombing?

that's my point. You can't drop a bomb DIRECTLY on it and expect it to survive

If any other system that isn't Nintendo-based were to be in that same explosion, it would have been completely destroyed. The gameboy was charred beyond belief, yet it still plays. My guess is that it would still survive even if it was directly over the gameboy.

if that happened I would be willing to play with it

On the first wave of the newer consoles, I actually went with the Wii for various reasons. I preferred to shy away from the usual hardcore gaming experience with the use of a controller, the conventional one at that, so I went with a more physically involving Wii.

But now that I have gone over it, I bought a ps3 about 6 months ago. It was a toss up between the 360 and the ps3 so I just went with the one with more available accessories.
