Resident Fascist
Everyone knows that awful feeling when you buy a game, start to play it and realise it's awful. You feel robbed, right? Yea. That has to be one of the worst feelings ever. Especially when stores don't give Jack s*** back in trade in prices. So yea, recently I got Final Fantasy IV Complete collection and Agarest: Generations of War because I heard it was an ok TRPG. And now I wish I'd have just brought FFIV CC. Seriously. £17.99 Wasted Urgh. Anyway, discuss that awful feeling.
.Nu-13
...you say EVERY game is horrible after time, after praising it to heaven's first. Anyways, I've been never dissapointed with any game, I'm not picky.

Anyways, I've been never dissapointed with any game, I'm not picky. [/quote] Maybe I'm being so picky because I played Disagea(which is like 99% Better) I mean, YOUR X AND Y MOVEMENT AXIS ARE INVERTED THE ENTIRE GAME WITH NO WAY TO CHANGE IT. Oh and there's no regular attack so you have to wait several turns before you can attack and there's 4 different directions you can face which determine if you can att-In short, it's way too complicated for no reason. Disgaea, you walk up to them by selecting your square, Press /_\ and select attack or skills. Problem solved. Agarest is like the bastard son of Disgaea and Every other TRPG. You go into your Move Phase, MOVE EVERYONE, THEN YOUR OPPONENT'S MOVE, THEN GO INTO ACTION PHASE, If you moved too far, you can't attack because of the cobbled together skills system... And then you wait on standby, and your enemies suddenly start breaking the rules of the game and... Urgh. I wouldn't mind as much if the story wasn't generic as f***. Urgh. Y I no just buy Disgaea 4?!
Black Metal
I had the same feeling in Skyrim, mostly because my T.V wasn't HD. But I find the game OK now even though I don't have the "yay" feeling when I play it.

Shradow
I don't know about the stores you go to, but if you have a receipt and return the game within a certain time (usually a week), you get your full money back. I'm not picky (I find level grinding in Pokémon fun, for example), and I have yet to play a game I disliked, though there have been some that I've been indifferent about. Makο
...I don't know. I've never really played a game and NOT enjoyed it, or thought as bad. At least, if I did, I don't remember any of them. I guess either I'm really good at buying good games, or I'm just not picky in the slightest. Greiga
Conglaturation, you have obtaind a great game. And prooved the justice of our culture. Also bad games for me either have bad controls, a bad soundtrack, or have a hideously boring story or fighting style. Such as the first Breath of Fire had boring battles imo and Sword of Mana had a shitty story and shitty ending that I can't even remember.

Lazer Yoshi
The only bad game I can recall buying full-price is Mario Party 8 for the Wii. Mario Party 7 was so awesome, but I have no idea what happened with 8.
ragnarok1945
I never played the 8th one, what happened in it?
Just Crouton
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Nothing ever hits the enemy even from behind. Advance 2 is pretty awesome. Heroes of Mana irritates me because it spends an hour putting you through a tutorial where you learn it's Final Fantasy Tactics but it's real time and you mine fruit or something. I haven't finished the intro battle. Kingdom Hearts 350-whatever days bugs me because all the game's put me through is joke tutorial after joke tutorial with these Organization 13 people who I don't care about at all when the game could easily make 1 medium length mission where you learn everything. The first and second missions where you learn how to open boxes and attack and jump are pointless when the basic controls can just be put on the other screen. The heart finding and magic mission could be slapped onto the first mission. I'm at the clue mission, which should be mission 2.
