Twenty-five Zero Oh-oh
It looks smudged. Take more time to define edges and make the shapes of your mountains more defined. Also, remember that pure black and solid colors virtually never happens in real life. When you want to make like a silhouette, don't make it black. Just make it a color that's darker than most of its surroundings and all things that are reflecting light.
More of a speedpaint, which is why it's smudgy. I tried to define the shapes of the mountains, but my brush kept on not wanting to comply :< I was thinking about giving the mountains a slight violet shade since it's a traditional mountain shade, and works well with the aurora. I'll probably go over the whole piece again. Thanks for the feedback.
Twenty-five Zero Oh-oh
Even speedpaints shouldn't be too smudgy. Just less detail really. Make sure you're using a reasonably high opacity to create edges. Also, using textured brushes helps in making speedpaints look more... well legit. .Rai
My texture settings were pretty much at 0%. I'll play around with some harder edged brushes too.
Simping For Hina
The stars are so fucking gorgeous! I cannot stop looking at them. But I suggest a little wider canvas for it, just to give more of a magickal feel. Textured brushes would be wonderful in this as well, giving it a different feel than just the smudgeyness of it. Try your hand at making the darker colors just a little vibrant, I don't know what it would do most likely, but I feel that the brighter colors are forcing you to look at them.
