Senji the Emo Loner
Aggro, since you're the cool one in here, can you explain me the strategy behind the Blaze Felix OTK deck? So this stupid guy can stop saying that it's an Elemental Heroes deck (I know it has E-heroes in the deck, but the deck is not about E-Heroes except for Electrum)
Agro
Aggro, since you're the cool one in here, can you explain me the strategy behind the Blaze Felix OTK deck?
*copys Guide I made a long time ago*
So let's start it with the card that makes it all happen. Trump Card: "Blaze Fenix, the Burning Bombardment Bird" FIRE / Level 6 [ Pyro / Fusion / Effect ] lore: 1 Machine-Type monster + 1 Pyro-Type monster Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can inflict 300 damageto your opponent for each card on the field. This card cannot declare an attack during the turn this effect is activated. ATK / 2800 DEF / 2300 Key Cards This deck, as most OTKs are, is a burn deck. This card's effect usually hits the opponent with at least 600 damage, but it can be much much more considering most players will be playing many of the cards in their hand onto the field. (Oh Cold Wave, how impossibly strong could you have been in this deck!) Now, being a Pyro-type, it also meets the qualifications of its own fusion materials, which means that you can continuously use it as material to bring out more of it to hit the opponent with damage three times until you run out. The best fusion for this card, and the deck in general, is "Fusion Gate", which allows you to fuse many times per turn without making every fusion a -2.
Fusion Gate Spell / Field While this card is on the field: Either player can Fusion Summon aFusion Monster without using "Polymerization", but the Fusion Material Monsters are banished instead of being sent to theGraveyard.
There are other reasons why Fusion Gate is the best, but we'll touch on that in a bit. Now comes the fun part. See, because we are not likely to actually get all the fusion material monsters for this little run, we need to improvise. And by improvise, I mean use broken cards. And by broken cards, I mean "Chain Material".
Chain Material Trap Any time you Fusion Summon a monster this turn, you can remove from play, from your side of the field, Deck, hand or Graveyard,Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on the Fusion Monster Card, and use them as Fusion Material Monsters. You cannotattack during the turn this card is activated. If you used this effect for a Fusion Summon, the Summoned Fusion Monster is destroyedduring the End Phase.
Technically speaking, this deck only needs these two cards (Gate and Chain Material). "Fusion Gate" allows you to fuse endlessly, and "Chain Material" allows you to 'toolbox' all of your monsters. Essentially, all of your moves become +1s. And that there is awesome by itself. At the current moment, please ignore the fact that you can't attack and monsters summoned through this effect are destroyed at the End Phase. This deck shouldn't need to attack and there are ways to avoid the Destruction. Alright. So now, we've given you the tools (2 cards, BTW) to start the OTK, but now, I'm sure you're asking: "Well, what happens if I run out of Fenix's and my opponent is still alive? Well here comes the kicker that brings it all together.
Elemental HERO Electrum LIGHT / Level 10 [ Warrior / Fusion / Effect ] "Elemental HERO Avian" + "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" + "Elemental HERO Clayman" + "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. The Attribute of this card is also treated as WIND,WATER, FIRE, and EARTH. When this card is Fusion Summoned, return all removed from play cards to the owners' Deck(s), then shuffle the Deck(s). Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each monster on your opponent's side of the field that shares anAttribute with this card. ATK / 2900 DEF / 2600
So, Electrum is the key to all this, and without him, we don't have an OTK. (and for you TCG people: it came in a McDonalds pack, aren't u mad?) Electrum, like Fenix, can be brought out with Chain Material. So even though the requirements for its summoning are large, they are also completely avoidable. It has some high attack and some cool secondary effects (hell, if you feel like running "Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan", you can do that too! (<=don't do that)), but we don't care about either of those. What we care about is the effect that activates when it's Fusion Summoned. Upon fusion summoning, it returns every banished monster to the deck. Not only does that put all the monsters used to Fusion summon Fenix and Electrum back in the deck for another go-round, but it also can put Fenix back in the deck (if you've followed my advice and used it as Fusion Material for itself)! So there you go, those are the main cards of this OTK. When you use these cards, you should be able to cause a burn cycle that will take the opponent's life points to 0, no matter how high they are. Strategy So, you should all get the basic idea, but here's a run down real quick to summarize and fill in any gaps: This deck does not FTK, that is literally impossible, the closest you can come is on your second turn. That is because of Chain Material, our unfortunate limiter; being a trap, it must be set before activation and cannot activate on the same turn. So, that is your first move. You're going to need to defend it very well when you do set it (remember that you are not likely to draw it on the first turn, and there is no way we have to search it), so this deck runs 3 "Dark Bribes" and 1 "Solemn Judgment". It might be wise to also run "Magic Drain", but that card DOES run the chance of allowing Chain Material to be destroyed, something we do not want. The turn after you set Chain Material, you'll activate Fusion Gate. It doesn't matter when you activate Chain Material here, as long as it's before you declare a Fusion Summon. (I usually just chain to Fusion Gate) With Fusion Gate on the field and Chain Material in effect, this is where the fun begins. Start by banishing 1 Pyro-type and 1 Machine-type monster in your Deck as material for Blaze Fenix. We suggest using "Volcanic Shell" and either "Cyber Valley" or "Swift Scarecrow". This is the point where you have to think things through, your Opponent will immediately want to stop you, meaning they'll activate a variety of cards. This brings us to main point #1: They can't win by Killing Blaze Fenix. A banished Fenix can still be brought back by Electrum, and a Fenix with it's effect negated by either "Effect Veiler" or "Fiendish Chain" can still be used as Fusion Material. So if your Opponent does chain to stop Fenix, do not try to negate the card unless it sends it to the Opponent's side of the field or your Graveyard. In other words, save your cards, especially if they have other set cards, unless the card used it "Solemn Judgment", "Solemn Warning", "Torrential Tribute" or "Enemy Controller". "Compulsory Evacuation Device" and "Phoenix Wing Windblast" should be ignored because they will just send Fenix back to the Extra Deck, right where you can reuse it. (and with Priority, that means double the damage) NOTE: This Chain Material can use the Graveyard, so don't worry if they manage to Torrential your Fenix When Fenix hits the field, you can set any cards in your hand if you want, any card played can speed up the time it takes to kill the opponent tremendously. So, after you activate its ability and deal damage to your Opponent (even if it's negated), you can continue to fuse for another. Remember to use Blaze Fenix so that it will be banished when Electrum shows up later. Now once you get through all your Fenix by repeating the above process (except now, you're using Fenix and a Machine-type in your deck as material), we reach the point where you need to bring out Electrum. Electrum is the key card here. YOU CANNOT ALLOW IT TO BE DESTROYED. If Electrum's effect does not bring back the cards you've used, then you are screwed, you should surrender on the spot unless you run 2 of each Elemental HERO we normally use (then just keep going). This is why we try to save Dark Bribe and Solemn Judgment. This is the key card. You can even let 1 Fenix get killed as long as this card survives. BTW, Effect Veiler will kill you right about here. Alright, so once Electrum hits the field and brings the cards back, you should still have a Fenix on the field to continue the cycle. Anyway, once you've used up 2 of your Electrums, make sure to fuse them together for any of the OMNI HEROs (this is where being every type is a help). Not only do the Electrum you use go back to the Extra Deck when the third one hits the field, but you also get a high powered OMNI hero that will not be destroyed at the End Phase if your Opponent manages to stop your OTK. By putting the Electrum back into the Extra Deck, we make the OTK go for as long as needed to win. Essentially, you'll get through 13 or 14 Fenix before you run out of room on the field. evilfusion
Why on earth would you put One Day of Peace in an "FTK" Deck? One Day prevents Burn Damage for a turn.

It's a set-up card, meant to stall for time until I can draw into Chain Material because there's sincerely no other way to get Chain Material than to draw into it. evilfusion
My point was that there may be better options to increase consistency that aren't directly counterproductive to the Deck's aim.

So I set Dark Bribe/Debunk/other traps with Chain material. Then next turn I win. A few times people have dropped Effect Veiler on Electrum which is where my Debunk saved me. Agro
No I meant how Dark Worlds tend to do so much and take away so many resources that there usually comes a point where they just don't give a f*ck what the opponent does.

Î’yakuya
Well that's true. I find Inzektors better when it comes to destruction engines, but DWs takes care of the power advantage.
