Sbamber Posted February 24, 2008 Report Share Posted February 24, 2008 Okay I recently figured out how to make a holo while exploring GIMP and it's functions. this is my tut I hope u like. 1. Open GIMP (Duh) 2. Open your card 3. Open up the holo sheet[spoiler=There kinda big so here is the example] 4. Get the rectange select tool and on your holo sheet copy these dementions 245*250 5. copy it 6. paste it and position it on ur card[spoiler=still big] 7. go to Dialogs>Layers[spoiler=BIG STILL] 8. select the holo layer 9. set Opacity to 20.0[spoiler=BIG...] 10. Save it[spoiler=im not gunna say it (big)] NEW) ive added pics i hope u like my tut thanks Link to comment

jz82 Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 OMFGa good tut on GIMP after i finish my first holo. i looked EVERYWHERE for a tut like this in the graphic design section. i eventually found a tut, but it was hard to understand, after a week, i finally discovered how to do it. 2 min later i find this.... no fair... this tut is good. +rep by the way, how do u holo the background of the pic only? screenshots took a long time loadin tho, so i didn't get to look at them. if the answer to my question is in a screenshot sorry for takin up space in this thread...
