The prize is... the joy of knowing you are right! Just kidding. You will get a REP.
When one is resolved I will add next one.
SO LET'S BEGIN

We both power up by the same amount, but our source of power differs. We're both used in the anime, and we both are more than just a piece of cardboard. We look kinda different, but there are enough similarities. I control the backfield , while my counterpart controls the front. Who am I?

-newbs (not noobs) sometimes do a certain mistake, this card does the exact opposite

-what the card might do is not possible in manual simulators, so you need your fantasy to imagine that situation while playing

- the effect of the card affects another card on the field and not itself.

- unlike in simiulators, in real-life its no problem to do that "move", you dont need fantasy.

Nope

HINT: Both monsters mentioned in the riddle are of different type and resemble a dragon (but neither is a Dragon-Type)

Well... 1 or 2 years ago I made the same game here on YCM (I'm just putting back same riddles. I'm a lazy bastard ;P). Don't bother looking for them. I deleted all the riddles from previous game.
