Opeth

Too many sudden key changes in the first song. Especially if something is acoustic, having a whole bunch of key changes in a song takes away from the rhythm and feeling of the piece. I heard it transpose from C Major to Eb (which I guess is an okay skip, it's only a minor third), but then it goes to A (I think, which is a Diminished Fourth, and that's not okay). But then again, I only listened to the first three minutes.

I listened to the intro of the second song, but then I realized it was ten minutes. I don't have time for that.

It does remind of Dream Theatre a little bit, though, especially with their acoustics and echoing sound effects.

Opeth is god, I want to marry Micheal (no homo). His voice gives me a raging hardon every time I hear it.

I saw them live in October in this small ass bar, it was f***ing awesome. The floor was so packed that the crowd was just one solid mass of people.

Heritage was probably my favorite album of 2011, I still have not taken it out of my CD player. I wake up to it every day.

Beyoncé wants to generally disagree with you here.

The genre is far too similar and grey but they are a good band from what I can hear. They aren't exactly revolutionary in any way, but they are good at what they do.
