DickAnderson
I stopped playing when synchros came out. I like the original old game that came out.
Death Metal
Whenever it came out in the states, I dunno how long ago that was. Then I got really into it over the years, joined this forum, participated in a couple local tournies, then quit playing it forever. Money well spent. Haha. Icy
I was about 10 when it first hit Hawaii. Saw the Yugi/Kaiba Starter at KTA in Hilo, and my brother introduced me to the game. I'm the only one out of any of my old group that still plays. What really got me interested was... no lie, the egyptian mysticism stuff. I ate it up, and chowed down for years. My first thought about it was, "Why can we have 40 card hands?". Yes we didn't read the rule book back then and ran everything off the cartoon. CDDRodrigo
I began back in 2002 when it first hit Brazil. The cartoon was passing on the TV too. And most of my friends played as well, but I was the only one who knew the rules properly. Obviously I had to keep policing them when we played. We even made a tournament with real medals, I finished in second place because b****es be stacking exodia (Yeah, all decks were holy random piles of batman). I still keep my cards from my childhood, but only 50 of them 1200 I have are official for Tournaments, and the only good official cards I have are Painful Choice, Upstart Goblin, Ultimate Offering, Monster Reborn, Dark Hole and Change of Heart. Yu-Gi-Oh is also what mostly made me learn English, because I browse Yugioh english/american forums since I got internet back in 2005.
FindingTheEverlight
I've been playing since 5th grade, roughly 9 years ago. Though I don't think the first couple of years counted because my friend and I played our own rules (the rules were also pretty legit as well). But I first started playing (better yet collecting), because all of my friends and the kids at school played. I remember buying my first booster pack and thinking I was a cool kid. I showed off the 9 cards I had, and I also claimed that I had cards that I didn't have, and it was completely obvious that all I had was that booster. Though, I did pull Crab Turtle, and that was my prized card because everyone wanted it, lol.
Mrs Rarity
This bring backs memories!!! ^o^ I started collecting cards at age 9+ , but started actually playing the card game at age 15 xD The T.V. show got me interested When I watched the shows I'd be like, "Maybe if I got some of those cards they'll come out too O:" Such disappointment that it didn't happen Q^Q And When I first tried to play, like when I was 11, i was like, "this is the most confusing game ever O:<" But right now It's easy at Pi ^^

Agro
I started playing maybe a month or two after Metal Raiders came out... idr when that was, but I played since then and stopped around 4-5 years ago, only playing with a friend of mine every-so-often until two years ago when I found I had a local not too far away. Then I found YCM and BAM, it's my biggest hobby.
❤ Lovely Warrior ❤
Around 4th or 5th grade. I used to own at it back in the day. Was the champion of muh school! But I stopped playing around 6th grade. I play now every once in a while. I'm not going to get all competition again becuase I hate the changes they made and I don't ever want to see those black cards used by a real person.
