Since I used a Name change with an item from the shop, it says my name hasn't changed since 28dec2011, which is true, but I've heard from others you get your name change when it comes round again. Mainly because I hate this name already and I've only had it barely a month...

If that's how it's supposed to work that's sorta stupid.

So is it a glitch or do you not know...? The name change Item is sorta pointless if that's the case.
