Wolfram gave a nod in affirmation before he began his turn. "Draw Phase brings my hand to six cards," he said as he drew his first card. Peering at his hand, Wolfram gave a few slight nods, thinking of a strategy. "Alright, then," he spoke up, having made up his mind, "I'll begin by playing the Spell Card, "Charge of the Light Brigade"! (if no response) With this, I send the top three cards of my Deck to the Grave, then afterwards I'm allowed to add one "Lightsworn" from my Deck to my hand." Please, no Spells or Traps, he thought to himself as he milled the top three cards of his Deck ("Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior", "Light Spiral", and "Ehren, Lightsworn Monk") before adding "Jain, Lightsworn Paladin" to his hand.

"Next, I'll play "Solar Recharge", which allows me to discard 1 "Lightsworn" monster from my hand to draw two cards, but then I must also send the top two card of my Deck to the Grave afterwards." (if no response) Wolfram proceeded to discard the "Lightsworn" he had just added to his hand, then drew two cards before sending the next two cards of his Deck to the Grave ("Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" and "Effect Veiler"). With a slight grin, Wolfram continued, "Since Wulf has now been sent from the Deck to the Graveyard, he is now Special Summoned to my side of the field!" (if no response) A light glyph appeared on the floor in front of where Wolfram stood, out of which rose the white-furred humanoid beast. (2100 ATK/300 DEF).

"Now, I'll proceed into my Battle Phase," Wolfram declared. "Wulf, let's do this! Savior Barrage!" At his command, Wulf charged straight at Hellren's face-down monster, staff and claws prepared to strike. (response to attack?)

~~Meanwhile~~

"Wulf, will you just listen for a sec--?"

"How can you be so calm?!" Wulf snapped in Farkas' face. "After everything that happened, everything I did--?!"

"Please, calm down," Farkas plead, trying, in vain, to get his cousin to think clearly.

"It's my fault that we're even here in the first place!" Wulf continued his self-loathing tirade. "I've killed, people and monsters alike--!"

"Wulf--!" Farkas was cut off as Wulf suddenly grabbed him by his shoulders.

"I! KILLED! YOU!" Wulf shouted right in Farkas' face, his own face expressing sheer anger and pain in its features, his whole body violently shaking with fury.

Despite this, Farkas stared into Wulf's face with his good eye and, calming, whispered, "... ... I know." Reaching up his right hand to Wulf's, Farkas slowly loosened Wulf's grip on his shoulder and held his cousin's hand in his own. "I know... and even then, I forgive you."

Unable to hold it in any longer, Wulf lowered his head and gasped out a sob. He continued to cry as his feet gave out, falling to his knees. His grip still on Wulf's hand, Farkas knelt down next to him and wrapped his free arm comfortingly around Wulf's shoulders.
Elisha looked back at Chris, and said, "No, my brother is from another dimension... Just like me. If the Chancellor was from our dimension, he would be our grandfather... But, he isn't. He's from a completely life-like dimension. Now, that's something for you to know, yes, Chris?" before she took the stage and prepared for the Ra Yellow's White Hall assembly. Wow. Chris was speachless from Elisha's statement, "Yeah, that's something to know." He whispered to himself and became frozen in thought for a while, This place is more over the top than I imagined. He managed to snap himself back to reality and looked at Elisha, This job may prove itself more interesting after all.

Sena was sitting cross legged on the bed, going threw her Deck. "Hey Void?" What?" Void Dragon had now stopped floating around Sena, and was instead lying on the bed next to her, curled up like a house cat, although with more than half of its body almost hanging over the edge of the bed, "How come I can only see and talk to you, but not any other monster in my deck, or any other spirit for that matter?" Void Dragon lifted its head and looked at Sena with half closed eyes, "It takes time for your spiritual power to mature. We've only known each other for a few years now, and as your apointed spirit partner we're supposed to have at least some sort of connection other humans don't usually have with their spirits." "Dose that mean that there might be others with spirit partners in the world, and in this academy?" "Most likely, just like that Kyousuke you meet earlier." Sena paused for a moment, and then continued picking threw her Deck, card after card.
Hellren did not like what he was seeing. His opponent was drawing from and milling his own deck, playing Lightsworn cards. God, I hate Lightsworns, and he's already got two of them in his Grave.. After a second card activation, a "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" appeared before his opponent, vigilant and devoted.

"Now, I'll proceed into my Battle Phase," Wolfram exclaimed. "Wulf, let's do this! Savior Barrage!" His monster did as commanded, lunging for Hellren's single face-down monster. Erg, if I get rid of Wulf, that'll just add another Lightsworn for him.. With no response on Hellren's side, the humanoid beast landed its brutal attack. Rays of light emanated while Hellren's defending creature was revealed, and in a brilliantly sparkling array, it withstood the blow from the mighty Wulf; in the set card's place, an "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" [0 atk/0 DEF] presented himself with his arms crossed in a defensive position, its wrangling hair ebbing softly, seemingly unperturbed by the savagery done upon him.

Hellren chuckled to himself. "My Fool won't be rid of the field that way. He still stands oblivious. My turn?"

Time flows down like a waterfall, and soon, it was already midnight. The pressure of the many spirits soon poured down upon those who are destined to be Youkai hunters. "It's already midnight... Looks like it's another long night. The full moon... It's as beautiful as ever." Kozaku woke up in the middle of the night just as he usually does back at his shrine. He carefully walked out from his room, then the dorm. Soon, he was out at the garden near the Slifer Red dorm, where he sensed a powerful presence near him. He teleported his shrine's most prized treasure, the Demon Sealing Sword to his hands. He then wandered the garden, trying to find the owner of this powerful aura. A large, burning three headed dog appeared before him, only to suddenly disintegrate into thin air, leaving it's yellow fires behind. From the fires, a familiar figure appeared. It is... Dark Kozaku. "Do you still remember me? I don't think you could forget about me that soon. And now, let's see if i can end you, right here, right now!" Dark Kozaku suddenly summoned a small knife and rushed towards Kozaku, attempting to stab him. Kozaku parried Dark Kozaku's attack using his Demon Sealing sword, only to find that the knife somehow passed right through it. "What? How did that happen?" "Gyahyahyahyahya! Finally i could end you! After 2 whole years... Finally i could get my revenge!!" "2 years? Could it be...." Kozaku, you're too careless!" Luckily Kozaku was saved by Nue, who stabbed Dark Kozaku in his back with her giant trident. Nue's sudden arrival interrupted the battle between good and evil. "Feh, what a nice pet you have there! See if i could kill her too!" Dark Kozaku rushed again towards him, but Kozaku is more than prepared. He countered Dark Kozaku by stabbing his Demon Sealing Sword through his chest. "Tch... Smell ya later!" Dark Kozaku turned into purple mist and disappeared into nothingness, leaving Kozaku and Nue by themselves. "That dog... He won't give up wouldn't he?" "Huh? Something the matter?" "No, it's nothing. Anyway, let's get back to my room before somebody sees us." Nue then walked besides Kozaku as they walked back towards their room. And then they went to get some more sleep.

The Lightsworn Beast's attack was deflected by the bizarre alien-like creature, forcing him back to Wolfram's side.

""Arcana Force Zero"...," Wolfram mused to himself, a slight smile on his face despite the failure of his attack. "He had set his Fool in order to bypass its inability to change itself to Defense Position... rather clever."

"I'm afraid my turn is not done yet," Wolfram declared. "I will end my Battle Phase, however, since Wulf is the only monster I control. I'll now proceed to activate the Spell, "Photon Lead". This Spell allows me to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower LIGHT monster from my hand. So, with it I'll Special Summon "Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner"!" (if no response) A bright light shown from the hologram of "Photon Lead's" card, bathing the Hall in its glow. The light soon died down to reveal the lightly-clad Summoner of the Lightsworns, who had assumed a Defensive Position (1000 ATK/1000 DEF). With that move, Wolfram's hand was down to four cards.

"Next, I'll use Lumina's ability; by discarding one card from my hand (he discards Foolish Burial from his hand as he explains), I can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster from my Graveyard. (if no response) Now, rise from your grave, "Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior"!" Lumina's hands began to glow with a mystical energy, creating another glyph on the floor to her right, out of which rose the blue-haired warrior, brandishing his halberd. (1850 ATK/1300 DEF)

"Finally, I will conduct my Normal Summon for the turn, with "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress"!" (if no response) And now, the raven-haired Lightsworn to her place on the field. (1700 ATK/200 DEF) "Now, I'll activate Lyla's ability; I'll target one card in your Spell and Trap Card Zone, then Lyla will be able to destroy it, but at the cost of switching herself to Defense Position." With that, Wolfram held up a pointer finger and, after a bit of consideration, pointed at the face-down card to Hellren's right. On cue, Lyla's scepter shown brightly, disintegrating the card that Wolfram had designated (unless there's a response). Lyla then assumed a praying position, hands clasped together as she knelt onto the floor.

(assuming all monsters are still on the field) "... now comes the stressful part," Wolfram said as he progressed his turn to the End Phase. "I must now send ten cards from my Deck to the Graveyard; three each for Lyla and Lumina, and four total for Garoth in response to their effects." First, Wolfram send three cards to the Grave for Lumina ("Realm of Light", "Photon Lead", and... one "Judgment Dragon"). Then, two for Garoth in response ("Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter", "Monster Reincarnation". Wolfram then draws one card due to Garoth milling a Lightsworn). Next, three for Lyla ("Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress", another "Ryko" and "Beckoning Light"), before Garoth mills again in response (another "Beckoning Light" and... his second "Judgment Dragon"). "... that's... not good," Wolfram thought to himself. "Even so, I still have four monster on the field, so...."

"I shall now end my turn," Wolfram declared. "And my name, Hellren, is Wolfram Collingwood. A pleasure to meet you," he said with a slight bow.

Lumina was brought forth. Hellren felt a trickle or fear run down his spine. Oh no.. It's already starting, on his first turn.. Once taking her place on the field, her owner commanded her to do what she was meant for: summon another Lightsworn, and from her sacred seal, the blue-haired warrior Garoth bravely emerged.

"Finally, I will conduct my Normal Summon for the turn, with "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress"!" Hellren still had no response. No counters. He just watched as his opponent's field filled with holy, armored beings. "Now, I'll activate Lyla's ability; I'll target one card in your Spell and Trap Card Zone, then Lyla will be able to destroy it, but at the cost of switching herself to Defense Position." Don't choose my right, don't.. Just my luck.. His opponent had done just so, and Hellren's card, "Wall of Revealing Light", was destroyed by the light of Lyla's scepter.

His opponent then succeeded to his End Phase, milling a total of ten cards. "I shall now end my turn, and my name, Hellren, is Wolfram Collingwood. A pleasure to meet you," Wolfram declared, bowing with his introduction.

This was exactly why Hellren hated Lightsworns. His opponent now has four formidable monsters on his side of the field. He was practically afraid of that deck. "Yeah, a pleasure.." Hellren's hand was shaking as he held his next draw. Don't freak out, Hellren. Don't freak out. Staaay. Calm. Hellren closed his eyes, inhaled, and let out a calm breath, confidently drawing his next card. "My turn!" Catching a glimpse of the card, Hellren felt almost as if he was being rewarded by his own father.

"I play the Continuous Spell: 'Burden of the Mighty!'" A large image of the card appeared before Hellren and illuminated. "As long as this card's on my field, each of your monster's attack decreases by their own level times 100! Watch them carry their own weight!" [Wulf atk 2100 ->1700. Lumina atk 1000 -> 700. Garoth atk 1850 -> 1450. Lyla atk 1700 -> 1400.] "Now. Summon! 'Exarion Universe'! I call upon you!" In flashes of purple lightning, a centaur-like creature appeared brandishing grotesquely spiked armor and bearing a lethal spear, his purple mane dancing like fire. [1800 ATK/1900 def] "Now entering my Battle Phase. Exarion, make your move and spear the sorceress!"The centaur charged forward (response?), and before making contact Hellren yelled, "Exarion, now!" His spear then glowed a searing red, and peirced straight through Lyla, destroying her and damaging Wolfram. (response?) "You see, by giving his spear his own energy, Exarion can go through your monster's defenses, and inflict damage straight to you." [Exarion atk 1800-> 1400.] [1400 - 200 = 1200 Piercing Damage] [8000 - 1200 = 6800 LP] Exarion roared and returned to Hellren's field. "I'll continue to my second Main Phase, and set one card. Exarion, I'm at the end of my turn, retrieve your strength." Hellren's monster made a show of twirling his spear and readying it once again, the energy he gave returning to him, his spear losing its helllish glow. [Exarion atk 1400 -> 1800] "Wolfram. Your turn."

Wolfram was actually caught off-guard by Hellren's formidable combination of "Burden of the Mighty" and "Exarion Universe", the latter of which he had almost completely forgotten even existed. It certainly aided Hellren well in cutting Wolfram's Life Points down to 6800. "Very impressive, Hellren," Wolfram congratulated the young man. "You've shown skill in controlling the field to your advantage, but now we're going to see how long that advantage holds... up...?" Wolfram's speech slowed to a halt when the sound of metal clattering against the floor grabbed his atttention. Looking over to where "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" stood, he was shocked to see that Wulf had dropped his staff for no apparent reason. A closer look made Wolfram realize that Wulf was... crying?

"... Wulf?" uttered Wolfram, stunned to see this development. Wulf had his arms held around him, his whole actually shuddering with each sob he made. Unsure of what to make of this, Wolfram gave a quick glance to Hellren's side of the field, more specifically at Hellren's "Burden of the Mighty". "... perhaps...," Wolfram thought to himself, "that card has more meaning to it than one would assume it to have... unless...."

"One moment, please, Hellren," Wolfram said before starting his turn. "I need a moment to think things over." Which, for all intents and purposes, wasn't entirely true, but he did need time to speak with his Duel Spirits. Assuming a thinking pose, Wolfram attempted to telepathically contact Farkas. "Farkas, is Wulf okay? What happened?"

"Wulf's... well, "fine" wouldn't be the right term for it," Farkas replied, still keeping an arm around the sobbing Wulf. "Wulf had a breakdown. You know, about... what happened...."

Wolfram heaved a sigh, once again looking over at the holographic projection of Wulf, tears streaming down his white-furred face. "Of course... that's his burden... ...." Without further thought, Wolfram opened his mouth; "Wulf... please, don't cry."

Yuki Brian blinked when she heard this. "Is he... actually talking to the monster?" she thought in bewilderment.

"Wulf, I know what you're going through... I know you're scared... that you hate yourself for what happened." Wolfram knew that Wulf could hear him this way, using the hologram as a medium through which Wolfram could speak to and Wulf could listen. "I know... I was like that, too, once. What happened... neither of us can take it back, no matter how much we wish to." Wulf's hologram slowly turned his head to face his partner. "But now... now you have to find peace within yourself. You mustn't burden yourself with this anymore. Farkas and I... we'll be with you, Wulf. You won't do this alone."

Wulf stood still, statue-like for a few seconds, before finally giving Wolfram a somber nod. Kneeling down to pick up his staff, Wulf resumed his battle position, a grave expression still on his face... but at least now his tears have stopped falling.

With this, Wolfram finally began his move. "Draw!" he called out, pulling out his top card with great force, a new-found vigor in his body language. Now, his hand was at four cards. "Now, I'll activate another Solar Recharge from my hand!" (he discards "Jenis, Lightsworn Mender" from his hand to pay the cost. Response?) Wolfram draws two more cards once more, then send the next two cards of his Deck to the Grave (a third Judgment Dragon... and "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast") (16 cards left in Deck). "Now, I call forth my second Wulf from the Grave!" Wolfram declared as a duplicate Wulf soon appeared next to the first (2100 ATK, 1700 due to Burden).

"Next, I'll activate Lumina's effect; I'll discard "Realm of Light" to Special Summon Jenis from the Graveyard!" (if no response) The red-haired healer took the fifth and final spot on Wolfram's Monster Zone, staff in hand (300 ATK/2100 DEF) (3 cards in hand now). "Now, I'll Tribute my Lumina in order to Tribute Summon "Celestia, Lightsworn Angel"!" (if no response) The Summoner was transformed into a sphere of light which ascended upwards a few feet until, in a blinding flash of light, the Matron of Light herself appeared before all (2300 ATK, 1800 due to Burden).

"Now, since I've Summoned her by Tributing a "Lightsworn" monster," Wolfram continued, "I'm permitted to destroy up to two cards on the field at the cost of 4 cards from the top of my Deck. (Wolfram sends, from the top of his Deck; his last "Beckoning Light", "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress", "Celestia, Lightsworn Angel", and "Lightsworn Saber", which does not have its effect activated due to being sent to the Grave as a cost. 12 cards in Deck now. Response?) Now, Celestia, destroy his "Burden of the Mighty" and his left-most face-down!" The angel, at her owner's command, outstretched her wings, radiating a bright light that caused Hellren's "Burden of the Mighty" and his face-down to vanish. With Burden now gone, all of Wolfram's monsters regained their full strength.

"Entering the Battle Phase now," Wolfram declared. "Now, Celestia, attack his Exarion Universe!" (response?)

Just when Elisha as about to start the White Hall assembly, she saw one of the duelists the Chancellor fought in front of the entrance, then said, "Hey! What are you doing in my dorm!" she shouted, as she ran after the person at a fairly fast speed and roundhouse-kicked the duelist in the head before he had the chance to run, and knocked him to the ground. "Much to my black-belt in Martial Arts... Should I be rewarded for such bravery...?" she thought to herself, before looking at the unknown duelist. Then, one of the shop owners walked straight past Elisha, then took the unknown duelist, who is now unconscious, with him. "Sorry about that, lil' girl... Coming through..." said the shop owner. "Back to the White Hall Assembly, then... I don't intend to waste anymore time..." Elisha said, taking the stage and focusing on starting the White Hall Assembly, which is due to start soon.

Karen seemed very grateful at the warm welcome that she received from Ashley and the chancellor. She accepted her set of keys and paperwork. With a slight nod of the head Karen smiled and walked away from Ashley.

"Well he seems busy, so I guess I have to find Chris and Elisha. I wonder where they could be?" Karen couldn't help but sigh.

" I guess I should have asked Ashley if he knew were they could be. Oh well no use in worrying about it, I'm sure I will run into them some time or another."

Karen walked down the hall heading towards the exit of the white hall. The towering stacks of papers and folders that was given to her obstructed her vision a bit.

"Work could wait, besides the students are still setteling in. I should take this time and find my new room."
Karen continued to make her way to the exit as the towering stacks of paper swayed left and right.

Then, Elisha came back to reading her sheet whilst on stage. "Karen Kagami? Oh, Chris... Stay there! I'll find the new teacher!" she exclaimed, as she ran off to find Karen. Several minutes later, after being lost all over the dorm, she eventually thought, "Where is she..." then, she looked inside the dorm and into the Double Bedded sections before finally finding the teacher she was looking for. "Is... This Karen Kagami...?" she said with a puff of breath coming out of her. "I'm Elisha Uchigya... Head of Ra Yellow Girls and I'll be supporting you during your stay... If you have any questions, then do say so..." she continued, as she caught her breath, before concluding her sentence with, "There's a White Hall assembly going on in a while, between all of Ra Yellow, so... Get yourself ready, then I'll take you down there..." as she left the Double Bedded section with a smile, waiting outside the Ra Yellow Girls dorm in the process.

Inflicting the first hit of the duel, Hellren was ecstatic. Wolfram's Life Points went down to 6800, all thanks to one of Hellren's personally favorite cards: "Exarion Universe", a monster given to him by his father when Duel Monsters was in its infant years.

"Very impressive, Hellren. You've shown skill in controlling the field to your advantage, but now we're going to see how long that advantage holds..." Wolfram's voice trailed off to an inaudible whisper as the clatter of metal falling on the floor filled the air. His creature Wulf, had let go of his staff, and was crying?

Hellren was confused. Is that Duel Monsters creature crying? A hologram? He didn't know what to make of it, but surely it was happening. Wulf was sobbing, holding himself, mesmerized in his sulking. Hellren opened his mouth to speak and ask of it, but nothing came to him.

Wolfram asked for some time to think, and Hellren nodded his head, making as if he understood what was happening, but then his poker face was ruined: "Wulf... please, don't cry." Wolfram was speaking to his monster. Speaking to it of loss and pain, burdens and acceptance, and it worked. Wulf nodded his head to Wolfram, retrieved his fallen staff, and readied himself for battle once more.

"Draw!" As Wolfram ensued his turn, Hellren disregarded what he just witnessed. He mustn't lose sight of this duel. He saw that his opponent was drawing from his deck again, having played another "Solar Recharge". "Now, I'll Tribute..." Not Gragonith, don't let it be... to Tribute Summon "Celestia, Lightsworn Angel"!" Not that she's much better, Hellen thought in dismay, and in a pool of light, Celestia descended upon the field. After her ability was explained and the targets were designated, Celestia spread her wings and illuminated the field, bright enough for Hellren to shield his eyes, and both cards, "Burden of the Mighty" and the face-down "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow", vanished in the extreme luminescence.

"Entering the Battle Phase now. Now, Celestia, attack his Exarion Universe!" As the command was ensued, Hellren had a choice. Rrrrgh, I could activate my last face-down, but what would that do, save my Exarion for a turn? He looked at his hand, and couldn't decide whether it was worth it. In the last second, he decided against using his card, and let the attack follow through, knowing full well it would result in his father's card's destruction.

Maire Gaboon

"WAAAH, you were fine back where you were!" Maire screamed as she jumped backwards, off her Duel Runner and stumbling backwards slightly, "Geez, you don't have to go right up to people to talk to them, you know?"

Suddenly, Maire heard a hissing sound from behind her, that was inaudible by anyone else. She ignored it for now.

"Yeah, I just got transferred here from one of the other preparatory schools," Maire admitted, "Why did you ask?"

The hissing sound made itself known once more, before Maire could receive an answer from the man. Maire looked over her shoulder wildly, as if she had to talk to someone that was currently behind her.

"He's not a Signer... he's just a bit of a creep is all," Maire told no-one in particular, before the hissing sound got louder and much more aggressive, "Alright! Obviously, J.C. wasn't doing too good this turn. Either he had the wrong cards or that cheap shot from Alice got to him. Whatever the case, he was definitely going to have to pick up the pace if he wanted to get through this.

"Ob but I must though my dear sweet little girl. I needed to get a good look at you." He chuckled a bit at his own attempt at a joke at his expense. then again, the girl didn't know he was blind, for he gave no mention to the fact, nor did she seem interested in finding out. His brow cocked under his helmet as he heard her talking to an unseen thing or being. "And just who are you calling a creep?" His brow furrowed, but that too was covered by his helmet. The gesture he made with his hands, crossing them and his arms over his chest, gave the indication he did not like being refereed to as a creep in the least. He leaned back down as his voice became more serious, and the smile vanished from his lips. "I asked because I like knowing who I will possibly do business with in the future young miss...."

Celestia's attack almost seemed hesitant, as if waiting on whether or not Hellren was to respond to her assault on Exarion Universe (perhaps out of courtesy?). As soon as Hellren expressed no further intent on hindering her advance, the Angel resumed her attack, blasting Exarion with a mighty radiance from the end of her staff. This attack managed to inflict 400 points of damage to Hellren's Life Points (Celestia's 2300 ATK - Exarion's 1900 ATK = 400 ----->Hellren's 8000 LP - 400 Battle Damage = 7600), and although it wasn't as huge a blow as the one delivered unto Wolfram, it was still progress. But now Wolfram was a little worried about something else.

"... I only have twelve cards in my Deck left," he thought to himself, "and at the rate this Duel has been going, especially with that Fool Arcana defending his Life Points, I might not be able to inflict any further damage to Hellren, much less win the Duel, before my Deck is completely gone. I should be thankful, though," he added to himself; "Garoth's effect only triggers when a Lightsworn's effect sends cards to the Grave, and since the milling caused by Celestia was a cost rather than an effect, Garoth's own effect does not activate. In fact, none of the Lightsworns I have on the field have an End Phase-Mill Effect, so I may be alright. Still... I did manage to mill all three of my "Judgment Dragons", and I might not have anymore methods of gaining them back from the Grave.... Giving off a somewhat exhausted sigh, Wolfram studied his hand once more. How would he be able to use this hand to his advantage... well, only the next few draws will tell the tale.

"I"ll now end my turn, Hellren," Wolfram declared. "Show me what else that Deck of yours can do."

In a blast of light, Hellren's Exarion Universe was gone, Celestia's attack destroying him and causing 400 points of damage to Hellren, which went unnoticed. It wasn't because the damage was so faint; it was because Hellren knew Wolfram's deck was failing by now, under the pressure of his Lightsworns, and with his Fool still on his field, Wolfram couldn't get through to Hellren's Life Points. Maybe Wolfram will empty his deck before Hellren can zero his opponent's Life Points, and be pronounced the winner due to his opponent's inability to draw during his Draw Phase. But what would that prove, that I can stall? I need to really defeat Wolfram.. Show him that I'm a Duelist, and that I should be here!

"I can't wait to. Draw!" Ngh, this Spell isn't going to help me anytime soon.. Hellren looked to Wolfram's field. Two Wulf, a Jenis, Garoth, and Celestia.. All high stat monsters. I have to stall.. "I suppose my deck didn't feel like it," Hellren said to himself. Adding his drawn card to his hand, Hellren then placed a monster face-down. "I'll set 1 monster, and end my turn. Sorry, but I'm gonna have to disappoint you for now, Wolfram." I hope this works..

Karen looked up at the women before her, she noticed that the woman was out of breath. The woman spoke in a haste and seemed to be in a bit of a frantic. Karen remained silent until she heard her name mentioned.

" Uh, yes my name is Karen." She said in a skeptical tone.

Once the woman caught her breath and finished her sentence, Karen smiled as she finally got to meet another instructor.

" Well it's good to meet you Elisha. I have been a dueling instructor for years, however teaching hear at gold academy will be a new experience for myself. As a matter of fact I recognized a lot of the students here so far, so I should be fine. Well I guess I could use some help finding my way around the academy." She said in a cheerful manner.

Karen followed behind Elisha closely as the two headed for the white hall assembly. As Karen followed Elisha she made sure to take in the sights. She marveled at the landscape of the academy.

"Hm? Ready to go?" Elisha said, as she and Karen departed the Ra Yellow Girls' dorm and headed to the White Hall, where they met back up with Chris Varg. "Karen, this is our associate, Chris Varg. He'll be helping us during this Ra Yellow White Hall assembly, then we'll be on our own shortly afterwards." she said, introducing Karen to Chris Varg and vice versa. Meanwhile, in Obelisk Blue's White Hall, Ashley shouted through his microphone, "Obelisk Blues! I don't care what the f*ck you're doing, but get your ass down the White Hall right now! Stop what you're doing and get your ass moving!" Alice raised an eyebrow at J.C's move, but drew a card to start her own turn nonetheless.

"Fine, I'll just play my Stray Lambs Spell Card," she said, inserting the aforementioned card into her duel disk's S/T slot "I can't make any other summons this turn, but it does summon two Lamb Tokens to my field."

Two more little cartoon sheep popped up on Alice's field, one of them white and the other a pale red.

"And since there are two more Tokens for me to play with, my Hunter Token gets another ATK boost," she explained "Dream Hunter Token, attack his defense monster!"

The hunter token charged as ordered, lowering its lance in front of it.

Making a sound that sounded like a disappointed whimper or grunt, Wolfram began his turn, drawing 1 card from his Deck, bringing his hand to three cards and his Deck down to nine. "I still need to find a way around his Fool," Wolfram thought to himself. "Judging from Hellren's body language, though, I doubt he wants this duel to end with me Decking Out, and I don't blame him; it wouldn't help to prove the strength that he has, not to mention it would be a boring way for the Duel to end...."

Wolfram took a quick glance at his hand, when he suddenly took notice of the card he just drew. Maybe this could work, after all. "Alright, Hellren, here I come!" Wolfram declared. "Allow me to introduce you to the monster known as "Joshua, Lightsworn Architect"!" Ah he said this, he revealed the card in question to Hellren:
LIGHT/Level 3/Spellcaster/Effect/300 ATK/1800 DEF

You can discard this card from your hand; Return 3 "Lightsworn" monsters with different names, except "Joshua, Lightsworn Architect", from your Graveyard to your Deck, then add 1 "Realm of Light" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.
"Now, I'll discard Joshua from my hand, then I'll return Ryko, Lyla, and Ehren from my Graveyard to my Deck, to add a "Realm of Light" from my Grave," Wolfram declared; as this action was being performed, an image of a wavy-haired, bearded blond man appeared hovering behind Wolfram, a calm expression on his face. At the same time, three orbs of light rose out from the ground and gathered themselves into Wolfram's Deck. Once this was done, the man, Joshua, disappeared in a bright light, and once the flash died down, a lone card was left hovering in his place. This card, "Realm of Light", then took its place in Wolfram's hand.

"I'm afraid I'll have to end my turn early, as well," Wolfram said with a slight sigh. Thanks to Joshua, Wolfram managed to increase his Deck, though not by much.... "It's your move, Hellren."

His lips curved into a smirk as he leaned just a bit closer to Marie, the lens of his helmet whirling as if focusing on her face before he spoke. "Why what other business? I am a scientist, and i study dueling strategies." He chuckled as he stood back up, and cracked his neck slowly. He knew it was a bold face lie, and that in all actuality, given the right amount of cash, he would do everything in his power to eliminate a single duelist, or tag team given he had a partner, should anyone see fit. He didn't care who, when, why, or even how, so long as he got paid for his services, and that was the source of his joy.

"He... How could he have escaped my seal? More importantly, what is he?" Kozaku asked himself on his bed. Still puzzled about his weird encounter with Evil Kozaku a few moments ago. The fact is, the seal he used is a special high-grade seal normally used to seal the most powerful Youkai, so naturally, he was surprised when he saw Evil Kozaku out of his seal. He the stood up, grabbed his deck and sat on his bed, slowly going through the cards in his deck. "Everything seems normal, nothing is lost, no new cards as well. Huh? What's with this card? It's completely blank? Since when did I have something like this?" Kozaku found something weird in his deck, a blank Synchro Monster. The card is completely blank, with no traces of what it is. "Insomnia, Kozaku?" At this moment, Nue woke up from her sleep and saw Kozaku sitting on his bed. She yawned a bit and moved next to Kozaku, also looking at his deck. "Ah, um... I'm alright. Get back to sleep, Nue." "Hm? A blank card? What's that for?" Hearing Nue's question, Kozaku moved the blank nearer to him, making Nue unable to see the card anymore. "It's nothing. None of your business." "Gimme that!" Nue grabbed the blank card and pulled it towards herself, giving her a clear look on the card. "Could it be? nah. You're right, it's nothing special." For a moment, Nue thinks that the blank card would be "him", but then she shrugged of her thought and returned the card to Kozaku. "See? It's nothing special, right?" Kozaku returned the card back to his deck and put the deck in one of his bags. He then stood up and took one of the Instant Noodles on his bag. "Want some?" Kozaku took out another one and showed it to Nue. "Yes, i would like one. Oh wait, you cant make one cause you don't have hot water. Thanks, genius." "Who said anything about not having hot water?" Kozaku summoned a small, bee-like Youkai out of one of his seals. Kozaku gave the Youkai some orders and it flew out of the room, heading to somewhere. "Eh? A Youkai slave? What does it do?" "You'll see." 5 minutes later, the bee Youkai returned to Kozaku's room, carrying a bottle of hot water. "You... study dueling strategies..." Maire was unsure about that when she this, but that dreading hissing reared up again, making her even more nervous. However, she had to harden up. She gulped, before saying anything further

"...then... Meanwhile, in Hotel Omega, Ron started gathering information needed for the Heads of Dorm meeting in front of the press, which could mean Ron and the Heads of Dorm could be in the news. "Don't think I'd be lenient on those trying to break in...." she thought, keeping an eye for students entering the Obelisk Blue Whie Hall. "Alright, Hellren, here I come!" Wolfram drew and looked at his card. "Allow me to introduce you to the monster known as "Joshua, Lightsworn Architect"!"

"Joshua?" Is that a new Lightsworn? Should probably brace myself. Wolfram revealed the card, and commenced explaining and activating his effect. He discarded Joshua and retrieved four cards: Ryko, Lyla, Ehren, and a Realm of Light, from his Graveyard, with the Field Spell returning to his hand. Ah, it refills his deck instead of milling it.

"I'm afraid I'll have to end my turn early, as well, it's your move, Hellren."

"Ha. Can't get passed my Fool?" Hellren asked sarcastically, drawing his next card, but he was a bit side-tracked to view it closely: He already knew what he was going to play.

"I flip my face-down, 'Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy'!" [300 ATK, 600 def] At that, the thin, demented, human-like fiend emerged, slowing swaying his slender body and tail left and right. "And then I'll summon! Fabled Raven!" [1300 ATK, 1000 def] Another fiend made its presence on Hellren's side of the field, slashing his bladed arms fiercely.

Hellren then grasped every Monster card he's summoned and sent them to his Graveyard. "Now, Synchro Summon! Stygian Sergeants!" [2200 ATK, 1800 def] His Fabled Raven leaped to the sky and transformed into two glowing green rings, which encircled themselves around Fool and Infernal Prodigy. The two monsters then transformed into three swirling stars. The circles closed in on the stars, and in a blast of light, the two-headed, motorcycle riding fiend made his way onto the field as if he just launched off a ramp. Breaking and streaking a clear circle with the rear wheel, the monster revved up his cycle's engine, ready for battle. "I'll enter my Battle Phase. Stygian, attack his first Wulf!" After performing a wheelie, Stygian rushed forward with the engine roaring, heading straight forward to ram Wolfram's Wulf with full force. (response? if not ->) [2200 stygian atk - 2100 wulf atk = 100 lp damage] [wolframs 6800 lp - 100 = 6700 lp]

(if Wulf sent to grave due to that battle ->) "Alright! I'll activate Stygian Sergeants' ability! Once he's destroyed a monster, he won't stop his momentum: He can attack again, this time with a boost of 800 ATK points! Attack his Celestia!" [Stygian's atk 2200 -> 3000] With a sharp, squeeling U-turn, Stygian accelerated with destructive lust in his eyes, all four of them aimed at the angel. (response? if not ->) [3000 stygian's atk - 2300 atk = 700 damage] [wolfram's 6700 lp - 700 = 6000 lp]

After his reign of destruction, Stygian Sergeants parked on Hellren's field, clearly jubilistic of his spree. Hellren stood back, crossing his arms and having a narcissist look to his face. "You just lost two of your strongest monsters and now I control the field with my Synchro. How's that for showing you what I can do? It's your move now, Wolfram."
