Alice merely chuckled at the boy's remark.

[b]"Touche, Spokey, touche,"[/b] she grinned cheekily as they continued on their way to the hall, she pondered his challenge for a moment before chuckling briefly [b]"Well I would Spikey but I'd rather not embarrass you on your first day."[/b]

Their conversation was soon interrupted by another teacher coming their way, telling them to get a move on to the main hall. He also introduced himself as head of the Obelisk Blue dorm. All Alice could think was 'oh no, not again,' as she rolled her eyes in annoyance. Childish as it was she always enjoyed trading snarky comments with other people and this teacher had just interrupted to flow.

[b]"Fine, we where just going there anyway,"[/b] she said.

She was about to go to the main hall when another voice interrupted her, turning around to see another boy walking up to them. She gave the boy a slightly annoyed look before turning away.

[b]"I ain't dumb enough to tell you what my deck is before I even duel you,"[/b] she said [b]"Now, if you'll excuse me..."[/b]

She eventually reached the main hall which seemed pretty empty at the moment, students had only just started to file in as it was. She shrugged this off and took a seat at random, considering just taking a nap until the entrance exams actually started.

[b]"I wonder how long this is gonna take,"'[/b] she muttered, checking her watch.

"Wow. That's a big Academy." Yazid stood at the front of the Gold Academy. He walked in the front doors praying that he wasn't late. He pulled out a piece of paper. He walked up the stairs on his right, just like the paper said. He started looking for the door that lead to the Main Hall. Then, he ran into a man. He recognized the man as the Chancellor. "Good morning, sir. How are you?"

"Good, thanks." The Chancellor beckoned for Yazid to follow. Yazid did not hesitate. "So, what are we doing? Aren't the Exams starting soon?"

Kyousuke had just been dropped off at the Academy ten minutes earlier. Having dropped off his luggage, as per the orders, he had decided to roam about a bit instead of just waiting around for the assembly. Now it seemed like more people were at the Main Hall, so going there might not be as much of a bore as before. [i]Shall we go, Dharc? [/i]Kyousuke asked, although only in his mind this time so as not to attract any unwanted attention.

The Dark Charmer shrugged. [i]We might as well. It wouldn't really do to be late and leave a bad impression. Plus wandering around these hallways has no appeal to me. [/i]Kyosuke smirked and headed off to where the assembly should be, if his memory served. Sure enough, when he got there, there were already students filing into the hall. Picking a chair at random, he sat and began another silent conversation with Dharc.

[Chaotic Angel]

[b][color=#0000CD]"Yes, but you need to drop your bags to the Music Room first, if you haven't already done so..." [/color][/b]Ron said to Yazid as he bumped into him. [b][color=#0000CD]"Hurry up now, fella.. Assembly starts soon!" [/color][/b]he continued, as he went looking for more students that are lost, before bumping into Ashley. [b][color=#0000CD]"I'll take over... You take too long! Gimme the keys and go to the Main Hall! I'll call you again when you need to conduct your search!" [/color][/b]Ron shouted, as Ashley handed over the Music Room keys back to Ron, before heading to the Main Hall. Ron then counted the bags of however many students have arrived, then entered the Music Room, pulled out his security scanner and started searching for strictly prohibited items. [b][color=#0000CD]"Right.. Cigarettes, booze... Druggies... All that sh*t... Where the hell are you..." [/color][/b]Ron whispered to himself as he found nothing on his security scanner. He then put his security scanner back and headed outside the room, locked it up then headed to the Main Hall, where all the others are, only to see another student arriving in the process. [b][color=#0000CD]"Right... A couple more to go, then... I suggest..." [/color][/b]he said, waiting for the other students to take their seats.

Aviv sat in his seat wondering when the orientation would start. His wings fluttered in his jacket, anxiety. He glanced at his deck and flicked through it. P.A.I.N., last year it had been blank, but now... he had no idea. His new cards were strange that way, like Suspened Angel - Conflict. His face was that of J.C. He wondered what these meant. He realized his wings should go back to just being a mark, in case anyone noticed. Then he saw what looked like a sphinx and decided against it. He smiled after realizing he smuggled his iPhone out his bag. He puts in his ear pods, listening to his music. He wondered when the duels would start. He wanted to try out his Pain/Conflict combo.

Yazid looked at the paper in his hands. The music room was also on the second floor. He hurried due to the tone of the Chancellor's voice. He dropped off his one bag, and walked rather briskly to the Main Hall. There were chairs all over the place. Almost all of the chairs were taken. He took a seat next to a boy. "Hey. What's your name? I am so pumped for the Exams! Are you?"

Kyousuke had just been sharing a joke with Dharc when all of a sudden, another boy came along and plunked himself down in the seat next to him. After asking his name, the boy had declared himself all pumped up for the exam. Kyousuke wasn't quite sure why he had decided to talk with him, but it had happened, so he might as well go along with it.

"I'm Kyousuke. Kyousuke Mahoro. Yeah, I came prepared to win. So I don't believe those exams will pose too much of a difficulty." Kyousuke looked sideways, studying this person. "You know, you never told me your name."

[Kingdom Xathers]

Wolfram continued to patrol the courtyard, directing any lost and confused students to the main building. After a while, however, Wolfram began to feel a little exhausted with a slight headache, so he decided to take a rest under the shade of a nearby tree.

[color=#a9a9a9]"Goodness, this is tiring,"[/color] he muttered, huffing out a big sigh as he plopped down near the base of the tree. He looked around the courtyard which, with the occasional student or two passing by, was rather peaceful. [color=#a9a9a9]"... kind of wish I could take a nap now,"[/color] he thought to himself, despite knowing that such a luxury would have to wait. After a few minutes, his headache subsided, so Wolfram got up and did a stretch before heading back toward the main building.

As he walked down the path toward the front doors, Wolfram heard a metallic clattering behind him. Curious, he turned his head to look behind him; surely enough, the sound was being made by a metal cart that was pushed by a young man wearing a grey, sleeveless hoodie. The hood was pulled over the man's head, hiding his eyes, but Wolfram could see the tattoo of a panther's head on the man's left shoulder.

[color=#4b0082]"Pardon me, sir,"[/color] said the young man as he pushed his cart past Wolfram, keeping his face forward as if focusing solely on the entrance before him (or was he trying to avoid eye contact...?) As the cart passed by, Wolfram got a better look at the contents of the cart: numerous cardboard boxes, each with the traditional "Industrial Illusions" logo marked on the side. Presumeable, these boxes contain freshly made booster packs--

[color=#a9a9a9]"Gah!!"[/color] Wolfram gasped out in shock as his head suddenly began to ache again, though this time it was more painful. He grabbed hold of his head, eyelids clamped shut, trying to keep himself standing upright. Then, somehow, the pain stopped as suddenly as it began. Slowly, Wolfram opened his eyes, vision blurring at first, but it cleared up almost instantly. He looked around; the man who had passed by had already gone inside and, fortunately for Wolfram, no other students were around who would have seen him. He gave a shaky sigh, then took a deep, calming breath to steady himself. [color=#a9a9a9]"... okay, better be getting inside, then,"[/color] he said to himself as he made his way to the Main Hall.

[color=#000080]"Horus! Long time, no see,"[/color][color=#000000] J.C. stated, recognizing a familiar face in Aviv, before he asked if he was interrupting anything, [/color][color=#000080]"Nah, nah, it's cool. Just having a little chit chat before we start..."[/color]

[color=#000000]He was intervened when one of the teachers scolded at the two of them before walking off... just like the other professor. At least [i]that[/i] one was a little more polite in his telling two to make their way to main hall. But that other guy?[/color]

[color="#000080"][i]"The hell got stuck up [b]his[/b] ass?"[/i][/color][color=#000000] J.C. thought to himself, before the three of them had left for the Main Hall; arriving at different times. Of course, J.C. was the last to arrive of the three. Question was, was he the last student to arrive full stop? Only time would tell if another were to suddenly be shoved into the Main Hall.[/color]

"Oh, curse my enthusiasm. My sincere apologies. My name is Yazid. It's good that you came prepared to win. I also feel like the Exams will be a breeze. Hopefully I don't get unlucky with all the tough duelists and bad hands like I usually do..."

Yazid looked around the room. There were very few seats left unattended. "[i]Man. I hope we start soon...[/i]"

Chris had been seated for a while now in the Main Hall and more and more students had began to fill out the seats. The wierd sensation he had experienced had evetually went away and he was now leaned back in his seat, staring straight into the ceiling, letting time pass on its own. He gazed at the growing crowd at random occasions, examining some of the students. Not that he was looking for someone in particular, just that he became curious about which ones he would have to teach. He hoped the assemble would begin soon, as the situation started to get a bit tidious by now. He took a deep breath and returned to stare at the ceiling again for a while. [i]I have a feeling the Chancellor knows stuff, deep stuff. And maybe, just maybe, he knows something about this card I have. Cause I sure as hell don't[/i]. As soon as his thoughts returned to that card, so did the wierd sensation, as if it new he was thinking about it.

Aviv saw J.C. "Hey J, free seat." He said to J.C., who was just entering the room. "Wanna' duel to pass the time, my upgraded angels will crush you? They want to untie our score, 16 wins here I come!" He glanced back at Suspended Angel - Conflict, wondering wether he should mention it. He decided against it, and looked out to see anyone he knew. He made some friends last year but couldn't remember anyone he's seeing. He felt another Earthbound Immortal nearby, sensing it from one of the teachers. Strangely the teacher seemed to be resisting it's control. He saw a shape of a giant, and a hummingbird. He would need to enforce his authority on these others, he hoped fatalities wouldn't be needed.

[b][color=#0000CD]"Students are getting bored... Perhaps we should begin..." [/color][/b]Ron said to the teachers, as they took their seats, prepared for it. [b][color=#0000CD]"Okay! Students! I'm Chancellor Ron Yim, and I have been running this Academy since yesterday, after our old Chancellor, Shepperd has retired from here! The Gold Academy used to be in GX Islands, replacing the Duel Academy, which as been burnt for many years! Now, Gold Academy is back, and relocated in New Domino City, and I hope you guys like it!" [/color][/b]Ron said during the assembly, before Elisha stood up to check what was spiking her in her chair, then sat down again, and accidently pushed the button, controlling the Indoor Dueling Arena. "[i]WHOA!" [/i]all the teachers said, including the Chancellor himself. [b][color=#0000CD]"This isn't supposed to happen... Elle!" [/color][/b]Ron shouted. [b][color=#00FFFF]"Sorry, sir..." [/color][/b]Elisha waned, as the Duel Arena appeared, pushing the remaining patch of unseated chairs, revealing the transparent base and stairs to access the arena from. [b][color=#0000CD]"Students... This, will be your entrance exam!" [/color][/b]Ron shouted, before the Indoor Duel Arena was set and water came flying over the Main Hall, and drenching everyone, including the Chancellor. [b][color=#0000CD]"Ack! Sorry students, but the Duel Arena was stored underground, right below the sea and now, we're wet... Brilliant! Everyone outside now, in the notice board outside the Main Hall, notify who's going first, and who's going against who! The exam will be invigilated by Dr. Torn Richards and Prof. Ashley Walker, Heads of Obelisk Blue Dormitories! Good Luck to you all, and the invigilators will come to a later decision after the entrance exam!" [/color][/b]Ron continued, before heading outside, dried up his hair and prepares to watch the entrance exam and notes down the Life Points left.

Mautra purred happily in her bed, enjoying the nice, warm, soft sheets in her dorm room. She had managed to use some of her parents' gold to get a single room all to herself, and was loving every minute of it. She rolled over, and scrunched her face when the sun hit her from her bedside window. Slowly, she opened her purple eyes and yawned with a cute "Nyaaah!", looking to see what time it was. After studying the digital clock on the table next to her bed, her eyes widened, her pupils dilated, and she quickly sat up. "Oh, no! I'm late on my first day!" She exclaimed. She jumped out of bed and raced to the bathroom, taking a very quick shower and straightening her hair afterwards, using her tail as a third arm to help her get through. She hastily donned her school uniform with a black skirt and a black undershirt, as well as black shoes and stockings, and grabbed her backpack and a piece of fruit from her fridge before heading out. She ran through the abandoned hall, seeing the stairs, but also an open balcony, and cursed herself for what she was about to do, opening two hidden zippers on her back to allow her hidden wings to pop out. She charged forward, jumped off the balcony, and took off, flying through the air with the greatest of ease and hoping no one spotted her on her way to the main Duel Academy building.

As Ron, the Chancellor took the steps to access the Indoor Duel Arena, invigilators Ashley Walker and Torn Richard were already up there, preparing to watch the entrance exam, and stood next to the Chancellor, with him standing between the Heads of Obelisk Blue. Then, Ron took out his notebook, and jotted down the first two duelists to take the exam. [b][color=#0000CD]"First to take the stage... Aviv and Professor Chris Varg! Aviv, Professor Varg, take to the stage please!" [/color][/b]Ron announced, as he waits for the two duelists announced to take the stairs to the Indoor Duel Arena. Meanwhile, Elisha, Head of Ra Yellow Girls was also preparing to go against some of the students who are about to take her exam as she put away the controller, adjusting the height of the Duel Arena, before heading to the Chancellor's office downstairs, got his Gold Academy exclusive jacket and dashed back to the Main Hall, and chucked it square on at Ron, as the Chancellor himself caught the jacket. [b][color=#00FFFF]"You're gonna need it, sir!" [/color][/b]Elisha shouted. [b][color=#0000CD]"Yeah, thanks! You watch for any duelists while I get my duel disk!" [/color][/b]Ron replied, as he ran off the Main Hall, back to his office to collect his duel disk. Then, Elisha was doing a job of observing students take their entrance exams starting soon. As soon as Ron was back, his duel disk shone brightly, as the gold ray of light hit the sun, and reflecting back on the transparent duel arena. [b][color=#0000CD]"There's my baby! Deck's in my jacket... Check... Duel Disk... Check!" [/color][/b]Ron whispered to himself as he stood between the Heads of Obelisk Blue dorm and waited for the duelists to head upstairs to the Indoor Duel Arena.

Alice stifled a yawn as the chancellor began to speak, introducing himself and giving a rather abridged backstory of the academy that Alice couln't care less about. She was itching to start the entrance exams and the sooner they could get them started the better. It seemed her wish was granted as well as the chancellor was interrupted by the indoor duelling arena being activated, presumably by accident. Alice could help but grin at the brief panic between the teachers. The students where subsequently ordered to wait outside as the exams began. Alice followed the rest now filing out of the main hall to wait in the corridor outside. She was eager to start and seeing as both her names began with an A there was a good chance she'd be pretty early in this list. Much to her dissapointment though, hers was not the first name to be called out.

[i]Bugger,[/i] she thought [i]Well this guy'd better not take long.[/i]

Ashley then headed outside, and ordered the rest of the students to head to the Third Floor, where 10 other arenas are in the Academy while Aviv and Chris duels in the Main Hall. [b][color=#D3D3D3]"Okay, you badasses! Everyone to the Third Floor and start dueling! The people you shall be dueling will be in the exam list outside the Third Floor!" [/color][/b]said Ashley in a fiery manner, waiting to duel his opponent, as Ron approached him. [b][color=#0000CD]"You were supposed to be watching this exam, but I can't find any more teachers to duel the students with... So, you're dueling... Mahoro!" [/color][/b]Ron said to Ashley. [b][color=#D3D3D3]"Not that Japanese dude... Oh, fine! I'll duel him! It doesn't mean I can just back away because of an exam! I will win this!" [/color][/b]Ashley replied, determined to win the entrance exam and drop Kyousuke out of the Gold Academy, if it was even possible. Ashley went to the Third Floor and headed to the hall filled with 10 other Indoor Duel Arenas, fixed to the floor. [b][color=#D3D3D3]"Okay... Hope I win this... I'm in.. Arena 5? Aww, man... That means I gotta walk a couple of kilometres? Fine." [/color][/b]Ashley said in distress and distraught, but despite this, Ashley kept his cool and walked to the 5th Arena in a large hall, and waited for his opponent. It wasn't long, until the Duel Arenas took shape, as it activated, raising it up by a couple of centimetres, much to Ashley's surprise. [b][color=#D3D3D3]"If only I knew where these guys came from... Heh... No worries... Where's my opponent?" [/color][/b]Ashley moaned, waiting impatiently for Kyousuke to arrive.

[color=#a9a9a9]"Well, I certainly can't stay away from trouble, huh?"[/color] Wolfram muttered to himself as he wrung out his longcoat of any water that had soaked him. Shaking out some of the wrinkles from his coat, Wolfram then took a look at the bulletin board. [color=#a9a9a9]"... so... that is to be my opponent...? Mr. Takashi!"[/color] Wolfram called out before rethinking, [color=#a9a9a9]"... or is it "Mr. Kozaku"? ... my apologies if I had gotten your name mixed up,"[/color] he said to the student, embarrassed over the little mix-up.

[color=#a9a9a9]"Anyways, let us not waste any time,"[/color] he said as he lead Takashi to their arena on the third floor. [color=#a9a9a9]"I'd like to see what you're capable of, so I'll let you have the first turn, Mr. Kozaku."[/color]

[font=lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif]"The exams have already started, Wolfram?"[/font] said a voice to Wolfram's left; Farkas had just appeared next to Wolfram, with Wulf standing close-by.

"Indeed," Wolfram replied, "and how's our living quarters."

[font=times new roman,times,serif]"Liveable,"[/font] Wulf spoke up. [font=times new roman,times,serif]"Certainly more so than back at... ...,"[/font] Wulf trailed off for some reason. Farkas raised an eyebrow at this.

Giving a slight frown of concern at Wulf's sudden silence, Wolfram equiped his Duel Disk to his left arm, a silver-plated model with gold trim. A white wolf's head, with its mouth agape, served as the Graveyard while a silver cross on the wolf's head acted as the Life Point counter, currently reading 8000. [color=#a9a9a9]"Well, go on, Takashi. The first move is yours,"[/color] Wolfram declared with a slight smile.

Oh well, I’d hope I don’t have to duel this early.” [/i][/color]Kozaku took a deep breath and relaxed himself, before summoning his summoning his deck directly to his levitating duel disk. [color=#0000FF]“My turn, draw!”[/color] Kozaku draws his first card and stare at his hand for a while, making multiple strategies as he do that. [color=#0000FF]“I activate my first card, Pot of Duality! This card allows me to check the first three cards on top of my deck, and add one of three to my hand.” [/color]Kozaku reveals the top three cards on his deck. “Malefic Stardust Dragon”, “Reborn Tengu” and “Geartown”[color=#0000FF] “Hmmm… I add Reborn Tengu to my hand and shuffle the other two back to my deck. Next, I set a monster face down and two cards face down. I end my turn!” [/color]

A dark aura then glows on one of his cards in his hand.....

[color=#000000]However, J.C. [i]did[/i] take the free seat that was offered, while he waited for the Chancellor to finish blabbing on about nothing important to him. Ironically, this managed to bore him even though he [i]clearly[/i] heard the guy say the students must be bored. A bit hypocritical, one would've thought, but the important thing was the speech was over, at least. Apparently, Aviv had got the honours of remaining behind to duel Professor Chris Varg.[/color]

[color=#000080]"Alright, go Horus!" [/color][color=#000000]J.C. shouted, obviously taking some time to cheer him on before moving up a floor, [/color][color=#000080]"Good luck down here."[/color]

[color=#000000]Meanwhile, on the 3rd floor, J.C. scanned the list of names that were collated all together, [i]obviously[/i] looking for his own. Ironically, it was just below that of the blonde chick he was conversing with earlier. However, he didn't seem to recognize the name that his was next to. In truth, he was adamant that he never even saw it before.[/color]

[color=#000080]"The hell kinda name is that?"[/color][color=#000000] he asked himself.[/color]

[color=#a9a9a9]""Malefic... Stardust"?"[/color] Wolfram uttered in disbelief. [color=#a9a9a9]"... does that mean that thing child is... ...?"[/color] He shrugged off this thought as he drew his beginning hand, then... ....

[color=#a9a9a9]"... oh, buggeriffic."[/color] Those two words escaped his lips as he looked at the cards in his hands. Granted, it wasn't because his opening hand was terrible by any means. Rather, it was because, [color=#a9a9a9]"... ... I picked the wrong Deck."[/color]

With a sigh, Wolfram drew his first card, bringing his hand to six. [color=#a9a9a9]"... I'll begin by Normal Summoning [/color][url="http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/57/11858.jpg"][color=#a9a9a9]Terror Lycan[/color][/url][color=#a9a9a9] in Attack Position!"[/color] A shadowy portal opened up to Wolfram's left, out of which slowly crawled out a sopping-wet grey-furred werewolf, its yellow eyes hungrily glaring at its prey as it bear its bloodsoaked teeth (1700 ATK/1300 DEF). [color=#a9a9a9]"I'll then set one card face-down, then,"[/color] Wolfram declared as he thrust a pointer finger toward Takashi's face-down monster, [color=#a9a9a9]"I'll have Terror Lycan attack your face-down monster with Nightmare Fang!"[/color] At this command, Terror Lycan bounded toward the opposing face-down, claws poised to shred apart its prey. The claws shred apart the face-down card, which reformed into the form of a hodge-podge of a zombie before it shattered apart.

[color=#a9a9a9]"... so, a Plaguespreader Zombie,"[/color] Wolfram said out loud. [color=#a9a9a9]"Most curious...."[/color] Wolfram then proceeded to place one more card face-down. [color=#a9a9a9]"I now end my turn, Kozaku. Your move."[/color]

Ashley watches the other entrance exams take place as he waits for Kyousuke to show up. [i][b][color=#D3D3D3]"My, my... Aren't they using weak cards...? Preferably, I'd null the whole exam altogether, but it's completely up to the Chancellor..." [/color][/b][/i]he thought, looking at the duel against Wolfram and Kozaku. [b][color=#D3D3D3]"It seems as though they are dueling the way they should be.." [/color][/b]Ashley said, before being cut short by a loud sound, coming from Ron's Duel Runner, which has just been tested by the Chancellor himself, driving the Duel Runner from the Academy's ramps from the Second Floor to the Third Floor. Ron drifts his Duel Runner between the arenas Wolfram and Kozaku are dueling and the arena next to them, which was free. [b][color=#0000CD]"Sorry fellas! Just testing my Duel Runner! I'll be outside now!" [/color][/b]Ron shouted. [b][color=#D3D3D3]"The f*ck are you doing, Ron! Outside, you bastard!" [/color][/b]Ashley retaliated, as Ron drifts back outside to let the students duel their opponents. Then, he stops by, and saw the list of people he would be dueling outside. [b][color=#0000CD]"A guy named Volt? Very well, I can put up with it.." [/color][/b]Ron said, as he took the elevator to the First Floor and headed to the outside Duel Arena, which supports Turbo Dueling. [b][color=#0000CD]"I'm just hoping it all turns out well... My deck of mixed flavours are ready, I hope... Though, I will be changing things around if I need to..." [/color][/b]Ron said to himself, looking like a complete idiot when he drifted between Wolfram's duel and another empty arena. [b][i][color=#0000CD]"I've made a fool of myself, haven't I?" [/color][/i][/b]he thought, toppling his head down in disbelief.

Alice followed the rest up to the third floor where most of the duels seemed to be taking place.

[i]Finally,[/i] she thought to herself as she read the exam board to see who she was paired up with.

She heard a voice behind her and turned about to see one of the female teachers behind her.

[b][color=red]"Hello there, are you Alice Avaren?"[/color][/b] She asked.

[b]"Was last I checked,"[/b] Alice replied with a smirk.

The teacher extended a hand, Alice paused before shaking it in greeting.

[b][color=red]"My name is Yuki Brian, head of the Slifer Red Girl's dorm,"[/color][/b] She explained [b][color=red]"If you'll follow me our duel can begin."[/color][/b]

[i]About time,[/i] Alice thought as she followed Yuki to a free arena.

The two of them raised their duel disks and activated them, both their life points setting to 4000.

[i][b]DUEL![/b][/i]

[b][color=red]“Since you’re the one taking the exam I’ll let you have the first move,”[/color][/b] Yuki said.

[b]“Heh, I’ll make sure you eat those words,”[/b] Alice said, drawing six cards from her deck [b]“I’ll start with the spell card, Pegasus Thunder!”[/b]

Alice inserted the Spell into her duel disk’s S/T slot and a larger hologram of the card appeared in front of her, displaying a grey Pegasus being struck by lightning.

[b]“This card can only be activated when we both have more than 3 cards in our hands, we both show our hands to each other and take 300 points of damage for each monster card we have,”[/b] She explained.

Yuki frowned slightly but showed her hand to Alice anyway, showing Cyber Dragon, Ally of Justice Cosmic Gateway, Ally of Justice Cycle Reader, Limiter Removal and DNA Transplant. A bolt of lightning then shot from the hologram of Pegasus Thunder and struck Yuki, taking her life points from 4000 to 3100.

[b]“Using an Ally of Justice Deck, I see,”[/b] Alice smirked, please that her move had gone off without a hitch.

[b][color=red]“Don’t forget to show me your hand too,”[/b][/color] Yuki reminded her.

Alice smirked and turned her hand around to show her cards, not a single monster card was present in her hand. Yuki’s eyebrows raised slightly at this revelation.

[i][color=red]Did she get a bad draw?[/color][/i] She thought to herself.

The card hologram faded and Alice took another card from her hand to activate.

[b]“I’ll follow that up by playing Magical Mallet, since you got a peek at my hand too I’m gonna have to change it for a new one, so I return 4 cards to me deck and draw the same number again!”[/b]

Alice returned her remaining hand to her deck which was then auto-shuffled before drawing 4 new cards.
[b]“I’ll set one card face down and end my turn,”[/b] she said, the hologram of a face-down card appearing in front of her.

Yuki’s brow furrowed slightly as she examined Alice’s strategy: [i][color=red]Either she didn’t draw any monsters again or she made note of the Cyber Dragon I have in my hand and won’t let me summon it,[/color][/i] she thought.

Yuki drew a card to start her own turn, adding it to her hand and considering her options.

[b][color=red]“I play Mystical Space Typhoon,”[/color][/b] she said [b][color=red]“And use it to destroy your face down card!”[/color][/b]

A blue typhoon shot from the card Yuki held up and hit Alice’s face down; flipping it up to reveal Bottomless Trap Hole before it was destroyed.

[b][color=red]“And now you’re defenceless,”[/color][/b] Yuki declared.

[b]“Wanna bet?”[/b] Alice asked, holding up another card.

Alice flipped round the card she was holding, revealing a trap card called Cat Statue of Luck; she then placed the card on the monster zone of her duel disk in Defence Position.

[b]“I play my Cat Statue of Luck,”[/b] she declared [b]“I can activate this card when a face-down card of mine is destroyed by my opponent, which then allows me to summon it as a Trap Monster!”[/b]

Alice’s duel disk lit up and a new hologram appeared, this one showing a rather skeletal looking grey cat with a wide grin on his face.

[b][color=red]“Very clever but you appear to have forgotten something,”[/color][/b] Yuki said [b][color=red]“When you have a monster and I don’t I can special summon Cyber Dragon from my hand!”[/color][/b]

Yuki played her own card and a hologram rose up on her field as well, showing a mechanical serpentine dragon.

[b]“Ah…Whoops,”[/b] Alice muttered, having lost herself in showing off to her opponent.

[b][color=red]“And since that was a special summon I can also Normal Summon Ally of Justice Cycle Reader!”[/color][/b] Yuki played the card and a new monster appeared beside her Cyber Dragon, resembling some kind of mechanical spider [b][color=red]“Cyber Dragon, attack the Cat Statue of Luck!”[/b] Yuki ordered.

The dragon opened its mouth, letting forth a burst of white energy which completely destroyed Alice’s monster.

[b][color=red]“Cycle Reader, direct attack!”[/color][/b]

The little spider raised its head, firing two small lasers in Alice’s direction, both striking her head on and dropping her life points to 3000.

[b][color=red]“And I’m not done yet, since Cycle Reader is a Tuner monster I can tune it to my Cyber Dragon for a Synchro Summon,”[/color][/b] on que the Cycle Reader jumped into the air, bursting into 3 green rings which fell of the Cyber Dragon, transforming it in turn into 5 orbs of light, a pillar of light soon consumed both elements and a new monster emerged [b][color=red]“Arise Light End Dragon!”[/b]

The light faded, revealing another serpentine dragon, this one scaled with a set of claws, four feathered wings and a golden headdress. It towered over the two duellists, glaring at Alice as if in anger.

[b]“Oh bugger,”[/b] Alice muttered.

[b][color=red]“I’ll set two cards face down and end my turn,”[/color][/b] Yuki said.

Alice drew a new card to mark the start of her turn, looking down at it doubtfully.

[b][color=red]“I hope for your sake that you’ve drawn a monster this time,”[/color][/b] Yuki said.

Alice smirked slightly: [b]“Sort of,” she said “I play the Spell Card, Dream of Crows!”[/b]

A large version of the card appeared in front of Alice and a new monster hopped out, this one taking the form of a slightly transparent black crow. The card image faded, leaving the bird along on Alice’s field.

[b]“Dream of Crows allows me to summon 1 Dream Crow Token,”[/b] Alice explained [b]“After that, I’ll set two cards and end my turn.”[/b]

Yuki drew a card of her own and immediately went to her battle phase.

[b][color=red]“Light End Dragon, attack her token!”[/color][/b] She ordered.

The dragon drew a deep breath and then let loose a stream of white hot flame that completely consumed the Dream Crow Token. However, once the flames vanished the token was still standing.

[b]“Sorry, but Dream Crow Tokens can’t be destroyed in battle,”[/b] Alice explained [b]“And since it’s a lingering effect and not an effect of my token there’s no way for you to negate it.”[/b]

[b][color=red]“I see,”[/color][/b] Yuki said [b][color=red]“Very clever. I’ll end my turn.”[/color][/b]

[b]“My draw!”[/b] Alice said, her enthusiasm growing by the moment [b]“I tribute my Dream Crow Token to play the spell card Dream of Wolves, allowing me to summon a Dream Wolf Token!”[/b]

Alice’s Crow Token collapsed into a multi-coloured blob which soon broke open and a new monster emerged, resembling a wolf that was apparently made of wood. Like the Crow Token before it, the image was slightly transparent. Alice’s Dream Crow card then slid out from her graveyard slot and she returned it to the Deck which was then auto-shuffled.

[b]“When a Dream Crow Token is removed from the field I can return its spell card to my deck,”[/b] Alice explained [b]“Same goes for my other Dream Token cards as a matter of fact.”[/b]

[b][color=red]“That’s very nice and all, but your wolf still can’t beat my Light End Dragon,”[/color][/b] Yuki explained.

[b]“I was just getting to that,”[/b] Alice explained [b]“I play my face down card, Token Stampede! This grants all my token monsters an extra 1000 ATK points! It also gives them immunity to battle as well, but that’s not important right now. What is important is that your dragon is going down, Dream Wolf Token attack!”[/b]

Yuki smirked slightly.

[b][color=red]“I play Light End Dragon’s effect,”[/color][/b] she stated [b][color=red]“It loses 500 ATK, but reduces your wolf’s ATK by 1500 for this turn.”[/color][/b]

The dragon lit up, dazzling the wolf token as it charged and dropping its ATK from 3300 to 1800. The Light End Dragon then counter attacked, bathing the wolf in pale flames and sending it flying back to Alice’s field, her life points dropping to 2700.

[b][color=red]“You’re good, but your moves are a little sloppy,”[/color][/b] Yuki said [b][color=red]“Are you done yet?”[/color][/b]

Alice grimaced slightly and nodded reluctantly.

[b][color=red]“Very good, my draw,”[/color][/b] Yuki said [b][color=red]“I summon Ally of Justice Core Destroyer!”[/color][/b]

A new monster appeared on Yuki’s field, this one a very sleek looking machine with a curved body and golden legs and head.

[b][color=red]“Next I play my face down card, DNA Transplant,”[/color][/b] Yuki said [b][color=red]“Converting all monsters on the field into LIGHT Attribute monsters. And when my Core Destroyed battles a LIGHT monster, that monster is automatically destroyed!”[/color][/b]

[b]“Uh, oh,”[/b]

[b][color=red]“Core Destroyer attack the wolf token,”[/color][/b] Yuki ordered.

The Core Destroyed turned to face the Dream Wolf Token and fired a beam of light at it. The light struck the wolf, consuming it completely and leaving Alice’s field empty.

[b][color=red]“Now, Light End Dragon, attack Alice directly,”[/color][/b] Yuki ordered.

The dragon shot a burst of white fire at Alice.

[b]“I play my face down card, Scapegoat!”[/b] Alice interjected, her face down card flipping up and four multi-coloured sheep emerging from it.

Almost immediately one of the sheep was struck by the attack and destroyed, leaving the rest (and Alice’s life points) intact.

[b][color=red]“Very well,”[/color][/b] Yuki said [b][color=red]“I end my turn.”[/color][/b]

Alice heaved a sigh, placing her hand on her deck and grimacing slightly.

[i]Here goes nothing,[/i] she thought.

She drew a card to mark her turn and turned to look at it, a wide grin spreading across her face.

[b]“I activate the Spell Card Nightmare Moon!”[/b] Alice said [b]“I tribute all 3 of my Tokens and Special Summon my Night-Mare Token!”[/b]

All 3 of Alice’s remaining Sheep Tokens where swept up in a black whirlwind which soon dissipated, revealing an armoured, pitch black horse with a long dark blue mane apparently made from smoke.

[b]“And since my Token Stampede card is still out, my new token gets a power boost, making her ATK total 4500!”[/b] Alice explained [b]“Night-Mare Token, attack Ally of Justice Core Destryer!”[/b]

[b][color=red]“Aren’t you forgetting something?”[/color][/b] Yuki asked [b][color=red]“Thanks to my DNA Transplant, all monsters become LIGHT attribute, meaning your monster is destroyed automatically.”[/b]

Yuki’s core destroyed fired a beam of light at the Night-Mare Token; however the light simply bounced off the Token leaving it unharmed.

[b]“Yeah, about that, Night-Mare Tokens are unaffected by my opponent’s trap cards,”[/b] Alice explained [b]“Meaning your Core Destroyer is powerless against it, and thanks to my trap card (which is perfectly effective against it) it has more than enough ATK to finish you off.”[/b]

Yuki glanced down at her remaining face down as the Night-Mare Token charged.

[i][color=red]I could use my Limiter Removal to double my Core Destroyer’s ATK,[/color][/i] she thought [i][color=red]It would still be destroyed, but I’d at least survive with my life points intact.[/color][/i] She shrugged however and lowered her arms [i][color=red]Why bother? I think she’s proved herself capable enough.[/color][/i][/color][/color][/color]

The Night-Mare Token’s ATK tore through Yuki’s monster, dropping her remaining life points down to 0.

Alice nodded and left the hall with a wide grin on her face.

Ashley saw the Duel against Alice and Yuki, then thought, [i][b][color=#D3D3D3]"Well, these two girls... Not half bad..." [/color][/b][/i]Meanwhile, outside the Gold Academy, Ron was driving around the course with his Duel Runner, however, a tank was driving towards Ron, causing Ron to pull over and drift the other way, then took a U-turn for the worst, before getting run over by the wreckless tank, wrecking his Duel Runner and breaking his back bone. [b][color=#0000CD]"Ahh... Sh*t! That really hurt..." [/color][/b]Ron cried, as the unknown person who ran Ron over checks on him and checks if he alright, then grabbed a box of Booster Packs and dropped the booster packs, which went all over him. [b][color=#ADD8E6]"Screw you... Hey... Hold on... I remember you... You're the dumbass who ran this Academy, whilst deciding to escape from you own RP?" [/color][/b]the person said. [b][color=#0000CD]"Uh! Screw you, Yuri! You ran me over with your tank and I need an apology!" [/color][/b]Ron retaliated, without recieving an apology from Yuri, who walked off anyway, with the Academy's Goods, which would be sold in its shop. [b][i][color=#0000CD]"Ahh b*tch... I really do need to get him back... Somehow..." [/color][/i][/b]Ron thought, as he snapped his back bone back into place, then took his Duel Runner inside the Academy, and starts repairing it, which could potentially take a long time. During the repair of Ron's Duel Runner, he recieved cuts from sharp edges, and made himself think, [b][i][color=#0000CD]"I need to sand all that crap down... How many more cuts do I have to recieve...?" [/color][/i][/b]before replacing the whole body of his Duel Runner, before repainting it. After repainting his Duel Runner, he took it back outside, and stuck the note 'Wet Paint' on the seat of the Duel Runner, so everyone was aware.
