Look, I know you only reboot successful RPs, but this worked for a while

A great force of evil has risen up in the continent formerlly known as North America. It has spread across the country, capturing everything. It is said that a group of twelve will save the world. Of course, you wouldn't know that, you've been frozen since 2011! The year is now 3023. Your capsule opens up, and you stumble out stumble out. The only thing you don't remember is how you got there. There are thirteen of you, and infront of you are twelve gems. A young, spoiled looking girl steps forward and grabs two gems. She immediatelly disenegrates into a pile of ash. You are horrified by the power of the crystal. You look around. Each door has a color correponding with a crystal. You try one. It is locked. What crystal will you choose? You are cut down to a remaining 11 crystals whena boy steps forward and grabs the black crystal. That leaves you with 11 crystals, of the following color: Yellow, Blue, [s]White[/s], Brown, Orange, [s]Red, Green[/s], [s]Light Purple[/s],[s] Dark Purple[/s], [s]Clear[/s], and [s]A gem spinning so fast it seems like an array of colors[/s]. You do not know what power they hold. What color will you pick?

Bio: When Aryk was 7, his dad left him and his mom to fend for themselves. Everything was going fine until Aryk turned 13. His life seemed perfect. Then one day, after returning from from school, he came to see his mother crying while on the phone. His father'[/color][color="#000000"]s newest solar powered planes had all malfunctioned during their first flights[/color][color="#666600"],[/color][color="#000000"] killing hundreds of people[/color][color="#666600"].[/color] [color="#660066"]His[/color][color="#000000"] father was never the same after that[/color][color="#666600"],[/color][color="#000000"] a cold shell of the fun[/color][color="#666600"]-[/color][color="#000000"]loving kind person he used to be[/color][color="#666600"].[/color] [color="#660066"]He[/color][color="#000000"] rarely spoke[/color][color="#666600"],[/color] [color="#000088"]and[/color] [color="#660066"]Risen[/color][color="#008800"]'s life took a turn for the worse. He became shunned by his peers, and dumped by his girl. During his senior year, a group of bullies began making fun of his father in front of him, prompting him to beat the tar out of them, and run away. That is all he remembered before waking up next to 12 other people and 12 different colored gems.

Personality: Risen is a very kind and gentle person. He has great intelligence, always thinking logically and having a strategy for anything he does. He thinks first and acts second all the time. Appearence: Aryk is 5'10 and he has jet black hair that is parted in the front. He has blue eyes, a small nose, and his ears barely show because his hair is blocking both of them. Bio: When Aryk was 7, his dad left him and his mom to fend for themselves. Everything was going fine until Aryk turned 13. Aryk's mom died in a fire that he escaped from, but still he has burn marks on his forearms that is why he wears guass wraps on his arms. Aryk became obsessed with fire. All of his friends abandoned him and he was ridiculed throughout school for being a pyro maniac. Aryk accidently burnt down his old house when he was 16. Aryk felt the power of arson and then the fire became his friend.
Personality: Aryk is quiet, not shy, he just doesn't like to talk to people. He acts cool on the outside but on the inside he is disturbed. Somewhere deep inside Aryk, he's kind and gentle, but he is corrupted by the fire that killed his mom and wants total anarchy. Aryk is a very serious person. He never laughs, smiles, or jokes around with anyone. He is also very hard to make friends with. Aryk almost never gets angry, but when he does, the person that caused his anger won't want to be alive because Aryk doesn't value human life so he does anything he wants.

Bio: Risen Tractus was the son of a legendary pilot and aeronautics engineer, Jered Tractus. He had infinite respect for his father's plethora of achievements in the aeronautics industry, and in flight itself. At age 16, Risen was attending one of the finest private high schools in all of his home city of Los Angeles, his girlfriends was the best looking in all the school, and he was respected for many reasons by his peers. His life seemed perfect. Then one day, after returning from from school, he came to see his mother crying while on the phone. His father's newest solar powered planes had all malfunctioned during their first flights, killing hundreds of people. His father was never the same after that, a cold shell of the fun-loving kind person he used to be. He rarely spoke, and Risen's life took a turn for the worse. He became shunned by his peers, and dumped by his girl. During his senior year, a group of bullies began making fun of his father in front of him, prompting him to beat the tar out of them, and run away. That is all he remembered before waking up next to 12 other people and 12 different colored gems.

Personality: Risen is a very kind and gentle person. He has great intelligence, always thinking logically and having a strategy for anything he does. He thinks first and acts second all the time. The only times his actions are based on something other than logic is when he acts on his emotions, which doesn't normally happen. His strength is only slightly above average, giving him a nice balance in combat. He prefers only to fight as a last option. He used to be a very social person as well, but since the incident, he is not as much, although with a new set of people he is sure to regain those qualities. Risen also has a strict honor code, he has set many rules for himself he would never disobey. He is very honest and true with everyone, basically what you see is what you get. He also has great integrity, meaning he is not only honest with his words, but with his actions as well

When needed, the power will be emitted as great force from the back of the blade, with the push of a button of the hilt. This force allows the blade to cut through most anything, as the force is equivalent to 1000lbs. Since this power is very great and it takes the sword time to regenerate it, it may only be used once a day.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Jackie is somewhat average in height, standing at 5’3. Her skin is tanned, despite years in the capsule. She has muscles, though more so in her legs than anything. Her hair is a golden-brown, tumbling down her shoulders to reach her mid-back. Her eyes are a gleaming green, like fresh grass.
The outfit she wears usually is ruby t-shirt, coupled with a blue skirt that reaches her knees. The skirt is worn over a pair of leggings that reach mid-thigh. On her feet she wears a pair of white sneakers with purple accents.
[b]Bio:[/b] Jackie’s life revolved mostly around the many different locations of the world and the different people there. Her father had such a sporadic personality that he never stayed with a woman for long, and moved constantly to find new wives. Usually only long enough for at least one child to be born. In a rare case he managed to have a set of triplets in that time.
Jackie, as the first and eldest child of her father, had to be the role model for their behavior. But all of them had varying personalities, of which some qualities stuck, and others couldn’t be learned no matter what she did. Her father blamed her when any of the others misbehaved, which involved her getting beaten thrice a week on average.
But Jackie didn’t really care, not even when her ‘friends’ teased her about her father. She only cared when her father’s beatings broke her arm. She’d taken herself sobbing to her room, and cried herself to sleep, only to awaken in 3023. With her arm healed to boot.
[b]Personality:[/b] Jackie is the sort of girl who refuses to back down, who refuses to give up without a fight. She is serious in everything she does, and never does anything half heartedly. She gives her all into everything, which involves her friends. If they’re in trouble, she’s the one who’d sacrifice herself, who’d make the final stand so her friends can escape. The only time she’d back down was if her friends desperately wanted her around, at reach point she’d hesitantly retreat.
She is somewhat kind, but her seriousness makes her unable to see a joke, unless it is actually explained to her. Same goes for Sarcasm. She just doesn’t get it.

[b]Weapons:[/b] A pair of gloves. These gloves channel the abilities bestowed by Jackie’s crystal, allowing her to use them a little more often than another crystal generally would. Each finger has a different style of ability utilizing;

[u]Middle[/u] – A wide jet of power. Hits a wider area

Her skin tone is slightly darker than tanned, added on with an actual tan that makes her rather darker colored. Her eyes are brown, like moist earth, and seem to gleam when she’s pleased. Her hair is black and cut short, arranged in spikes that reach just past her shoulders.
Ruby wears somewhat fancy clothes, generally the handmade black kimono she wore when exiting the capsule. It is decorated with white flowers, and tied with red ribbon in the middle. However, she wears a pair of leggings beneath this, as well as sneakers and a simple shirt. She often adds a ribbon in her hair for a bit of flair.
[b]Bio:[/b] Ruby was raised to a loving family in Tokyo. They lived in a simple apartment, which was made beautiful by the dresses her mother crafted, which were often hung around the place. Ruby was often the model for her mother’s dresses, standing on stools to be an ideal female height, which she wasn’t.
Her life was pretty much perfect, even with the constant little problems that Ruby caused around the home with her slight clumsiness. In fact, her family loved her more for it, finding her clumsiness endearing and adorable. But even then her practical father convinced her mother to make an altered dress that was beautiful and wouldn’t trip her up at any point. That was like her father. Practicality.
Her mother sold her dresses for money, and her father earned money from his building business, which often reaped a fair bit of pay the days he worked. They lived comfortably, even when Ruby was bullied at school for being tiny. She never seemed to notice, so they made no complaints regarding it.
[b]Personality:[/b] Ruby is very one-minded. She becomes set on one thing, only to suddenly switch to another. All thoughts rush from her head, leaving only one at the main focus of her mind. This leads to her being clumsy, since she cannot concentrate enough to keep her balance. However, once she has a definite, honest-to-goodness goal that she must complete, she’ll never change her mind, the whole discussion. Well, she might suddenly blurt out something completely unrelated, but her original decision would remain, no matter what. However, her remaining focused enough to remember her goals is rare.

[b]Weapons:[/b] Her ability to distract opponents with her sudden babble is a key weapon. When people don’t become influenced by her childish charm and sweetness, she resorts to ribbons, similar to those gymnasts use. She uses them to dance a complicated distraction and wrap her opponents up.

Bio: Kurt's dad trains him to be perfect at everything he does no matter if it's sports, school, or have perfect girlfriends. Kurt plays all the major sports like Basketball, Football, Soccer, Baseball, Hockey, etc. He is the most popular person in his town and every girl that becomes his girlfriend becomes the queen of the town. He has perfect grades because if he didn't his dad would hit him. His mom died when he was born because of problems with the pregnancy so he never had the chance to meet her and his dad blames him for his mom's death.[/color][/size][/font]

Bio: Rebeccbut shea has a twin, but she never knew. Thier father died left after he found out that thier mom was having twins, and thier mother died aftershe gave birth. The two of them were split up, her brothere was adopted right away, but she was not. She was adopted about 2 months later. She was raised by a very nice and rich family, but she never knew her own biggest secret. One night, on her 12th birthday, they told her her secret. Botht the fact that she had a twin, and that she was adopted. Her twin was also told that that night, and they both went into their rooms fuming, and that was her last memory.
Personality: When Rebeca sets her mind to something, she gets it done. She is very much daredevilish. She does anything to save her friends, including dying. She is mostly nice, but if you insult her or her friends, she gets fiesty, and comesback with stinging insults. She never goes to far though as hitting a soft spot. If someone was fat and making fun of them, she would say, insult his stupidity, or the like. Sometimes, she has random burst of energy and just has to yell or run around or something.

Other: Neuro gas explanation: Neuro gas a gas (Derp) that temporarilly befuddles the brain, and depending on the victims will, can do different things. Low to no will. Allows user to control them through thought. Low to medium: Paralysis. Strong will:Makes head hurt 10 times more than a migraine. (Note: If Neuro Gas is inhaled over prolonged time or lots is inhaled, it would have the same effect as low to no will)

I've done older chars, but I still can't manage them well.
Of course, if I wanted, I could go, be an ass, and make a 20 yo third character.

His earliest memory is that of his early teens, when he was a part of a group of ruthless assassins who killed people for their riches. They taught Promethus how to fight, and gave him his name. However when Promethus was 18, he found out the same group he was killing for had the answers he was searching for. He went on a rampage, slaughtering all the assassins who had brought him up and accepted him, just to find out his origins. After he had killed all the swordsmen, he found out that he was born somewhere in the middle east, and his parents were killed by the assassins a long time ago. Not satisfied with te answers he had been given, Promethus went on a long journey throughout the middle east to find his birthplace and to find the answers to the questions that clouded his mind. His journey eventually led him to the future.[/size][/color][/font]

He is always trying to connect things together in his mind, as if the world is a puzzle and it is his job to solve it. He is distrusting, he really makes people work to earn his trust. He can be quiet intimidating, but he is not as cold-hearted as he appears, he is just a man that is missing a part of his life, and trying desperately to find it. The only things Promethus truly loves are challenges and true fights. Promethus also never parts with his sword, which he has named Nitrum (Latin for Cleanser).[/size][/font][/color]
