Lonk
They need an engine. Although the Holy Marks themselves are an engine for Normal Dragons, they don't have an engine for themselves, which needs to happen. Anubis, the Holy Marked Dragon Level 6 LIGHT Dragon/Effect ATK/2200 DEF/800 You can Tribute 1 "Holy Mark" monster in your hand or on your side of the field; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. When this card is Tributed; Add 1 "Holy Mark" card from your Graveyard to your hand. The effect of "Anubis, the Holy Marked Dragon" can only be activated once per turn. Horus, the Holy Marked Dragon Level 7 LIGHT Dragon/Effect ATK/2500 DEF/2100 Cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. If a "Holy Mark" monster was Tributed: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. Once per turn; You can Tribute 1 "Holy Mark" monster in your hand or on your side of the field; Discard 1 random card in your opponent's hand. When this card is Tributed: Draw 2 cards. You can only control 1 "Horus, the Holy Marked Dragon". Ra, the Holy Marked Dragon Level 8 LIGHT Dragon/Effect ATK/3000 DEF/2500 Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned from your hand when there are 6 or more LIGHT Dragon-Type monsters in your Graveyard and cannot be Special Summoned by any other ways. You can tribute 1 Dragon-Type monster you control or in your hand. Then, activate an effect based on the monster tributed: ?Normal Dragon-Type monster: Special Summon 1 "Holy Mark" monster from your hand or Deck. It cannot declare an attack this turn. ?Effect Dragon-Type monster: Special Summon 1 Normal Dragon-Type Monster from your hand, Deck or Graveyard. Ramses, the Holy Marked Dragon Emperor Rank 6 LIGHT Dragon/Xyz/Effect ATK/2600 DEF/2000 3 Level 6 Dragon-Type Monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material to draw 2 cards. If you activate this effect: This card cannot declare an attack this turn. If this card is Tributed while it has no Xyz Materials; You can Special Summon 1 "Holy Mark" monster from your Graveyard, ignoring its Summoning Condition. Holy Marker of Abundance Normal Spell Card Tribute 1 "Holy Mark" monster you control. Draw 2 cards. Holy Marker of Reincarnation Normal Spell Card Add 2 "Holy Mark" monsters from your Graveyard to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Holy Marker of Reincarnation" per turn. Holy Marker of Ceremony Continuous Spell Card You can tribute 1 "Holy Mark" monster in your hand or on your side of the field to Banish the top card of your opponent's Deck. Then, depending on the card banished, activate one of the effects: ?Monster: Draw 1 card. ?Spell: Banish 1 random card in your opponent's hand. ?Trap: Destroy 1 card your opponent controls. The effect of "Holy Marker of Ceremony" can only be activated once per turn. Holy Marker of Sealing Continuous Trap Card Tribute 1 "Holy Mark" or Normal Dragon-Type Monster. Negate the activation of a card effect or the Summon of a monster and destroy it. Link to comment
Agro
Reincarnation will need a downside. I'd look at the Sacred's version of it for guidance, since I doubt you'll follow in Salvage's footsteps. I like the idea of a cycle, but you have to ask yourself if you're overdoing it with Anubis. Look at it's power compared to Fabled Kushano, and remember how easy it is for you to dump it from the deck with Ravine, Darkflare, or FuFu. Mainly, think about how easily you're going to be abusing it. For horus, you should not have to easily be able to chose any card. There's a reason forceful sentry is banned. I'd say make it Discard or make it random. Or both. Horus and Ramses are OPed. 5 Dragons in the Grave is nothing for a Dragon-based deck and Ramses is a +2 every turn. I doubt players would care about losing their battle phase if they have 2 free cards for 3 turns. I'm not completely sold, but idt that it matters if abundance needs to only tribute on the field. Ceremony and sealing need better downsides, since right now, they're both good +1s with no negatives. Oh and for some OCG tips: (Condition): (Cost and/or directions on what to target if any); (Effect) There are a few instances where you had semi-colons instead of colons. Link to comment
Lonk
Thanks Wraith (I always get confused with Colons and Semicolons). Ra needs LIGHT Dragons, not just Dragons in general (though milling out 5 LIGHT Dragons is pretty easy as well. However, that card will break FuFu and make the mass milling unplayable if it were to exist, so I am not too concerned with the condition). However, Ra's effect wouldn't help standards dragons that much. Just to be on the safe side, I will make it 6 LIGHT Dragons. I agree on Horus however. Random and a discard would make it less broken. Ramses, however, requires the terribad clause 3 materials of Level 6 Dragons, which is enough to balance out the effect.. Holy Marks lose too much advantage during their shenanigans, so I'd say the draw effect is pretty fair, especially considering the materials required to summon it (Besides, YCM complains about 3 material monsters with no effects to back-up their effort). The point of Sealing and Ceremony are supposed to be good +1s, since Holy Dragons couldn't plus easily. They work as part of the engine in the deck. I do see how Reincarnation is busted though. Salvage is already starting to become broke. So Anubis not being able to tribute itself can still cycle. I guess I need to tone that down, especially with Ra. Maybe give it the once per turn clause? I will fix some of the cards. Edit: Yea, Solemn doesn't need the draw. Link to comment
