Elƒie
Sese nodded a little to what Senshi said and noticed how he looked out the to the battle between Kiyoshi and the Golem. Turning around, she looked to the battle as well as her blush slowly dissipated. She watched as Kiyoshi charged up what appeared to be a finishing move, since the lightning was black instead of its normal color. Looking down to her bow, she thought about whether or not to help Kiyoshi as well. She had a lightning arrow she could use to help amplify his attack, but it seemed as if the lightning rod he pulled out of her Carrier Star was sufficient enough. Squeezing her left hand, the bow burst into shimmering star dust before being blown off into the wind.
Hotaru987
Narumi followed along the path of destruction hoping to fine Linu before she could be hurt by the Gigantes. She told Kiyoshi that she would help the others, and she intended to do just that. She stopped running to catch her breath. Just how far did Lina run? Not only that but in her demon form she was so small that she could hide anywhere. "Yami-san!" Narumi yelled before continuing her run. She continued screaming for Linu. "Yami-san!!-Crap..." Narumi yelled, then whispering the last word. The reason being was because she came up on the Gigantes that seemed to just be sitting on some roots, that appeared to be about to break. The smell of honey was also strong in the area, and the sound of bees was around. Narumi quickly slipped behind some brush and tried to sniff out Linu's scent. But it was no use. The smell of Honey was messing with her sense of smell. "Yami-san...Where are you." 'She may be hiding somewhere around here....But she probably won't come out if the Gigantes is right there...Maybe I should try to distract it...If I do maybe Yami-san can do something." Narumi took a deep breath, "Well here goes nothing..." She stepped into the open, "Hey block head! Over here!"
Kyng's Old Account
Kiyoshi Vs Fred Violent lightning was flickering around the body of the Raiju, the clouds beginning to swirl above Kiyoshi in the skies above, and his white adornments glowed a black aura as he opened up his mouth and the lightning, striking violently everything it sparked at, was then suddenly paralyzing Kiyoshi to the spot, the Raiju's eyes opening wide in confusion and shock; he had no idea what on earth was going on but he could not unleash this attack. All of a sudden a seal glowed upon his paw brightly and a screeching sound caused his entire body to tremble, his lightning attack in his mouth beginning to recede from it's viciously large state, the storm overhead fading as the clouds returned to their normal state, leaving Kiyoshi stood still thinking 'M-My attack! What happened!?! Why couldn't I use it!?!' his body in a state of sheer shock from the event, standing still completely unaware of his surrounding environment. It was this which gave Fred an opening, and with a hefty chuckle he clenched a fist and drove it straight into Kiyoshi, smashing him in the center of his spine into the earth beneath him, Kiyoshi letting out a yelp as he was flattened into the ground, a small print from the punch where he was embedded in, twitching from the intense blunt and overwhelming strength which had planted him into the earth, still from the sole reason of his shock, his eyes still bizarred as he kept running the same thought through his head. Even though it was contextually different, the pattern remained the same: Why could he not pull off his strongest attack? His seal upon his hand faded again a second time, but Kiyoshi noticed this not, his eyes flickering around as he was in this mental lockdown. Fred, however, say this and interpreted it as unconciousness, and so turned his attention to Naoko who had began to come to Nathalia's aid, but her crying only escalated and, as you would, Fred took this as Naoko harming the girl; letting out a roar he yelled "Get your mitts o'her!" charging at the succubus with his arm, which she essentially turned into a blunt mace, as he dragged it down towards the three of Nathalia, Naoko, and Azure. Gigantes #2 Vs Linu w/ Narumi The wood began to crack and snap over Linu even further for each second the Gigantes had sat on it, though it began to lighten a little as it bent over and inspected a mushroom next to a dead tree, which considering how the entire forest which covered Yokai Academy was pretty much dead trees was a rare sight; this was a very low leveled creature in terms of intelligence, and found the pretty colours amusing as well as the odd shape, causing it to give a chesty laugh at the sight, before picking out the mushroom and bringing it closer to it's eyes, causing it to smile, if it could be done so, before opening it's mouth wide and happily swallowing the thing in one go. As it returned to it's seat, furthermore applying pressure on the roots which Linu was hiding beneath, the Gigantes overheard a voice , and turning to it saw Narumi as she called out the creature. Simply put, this thing probably thought: "BLOCK HEAD? NOT NICE, ENEMY!" because the creature's reaction was a frown and standing up, charging towards the Kitsune before suddenly stopping, holding it's belly as it made a rough stomach grumbling noise, and between it's leg a couple of small stones fell from what must have been it's...well...*ahem*. It seemed the mushroom had an effect, but this humiliation caused anger, anger which the Gigantes used to ball a fist and throw a slugger towards the Kitsune.
TotalObelisk
Linu watched the creatued from her hiding place, hoping it hadn't noticed her and attempting to make herself as small as possible. With any luck the creature would move on, giving her the opportunity to finally leave and...She hadn't actuall thought that far ahead. She gave a start when she head the sound of rock smashing into wood above her and almost darted out of the hole there and then for fear that tree would collapse on her there and then. She cowered in the hole for a moment, bracing herself for another blow which didn't come, instead a small drop of sticky honey dropped down just next to her, a few bees still crawling over it. Linu was, luckily, not afraid of bugs but any smart person would do well to try and avoid getting stung, there was still the issue of the stone giant above her though, and Linu wasn't sure she'd be able to outrun it this time. She was preparing to dart out from the hole when a sudden shadow fell over her with a loud thud and the entrance to her little hole closed up suddenly. Linu froze, quickly realizing that the creature had just sat over the entrance to her little hole, blocking off her escape. She heard the roots creak slightly under its weight and the realization slowly dawned on her that she might easily be crushed to death if she didn't get out of her. She quickly scrambled about and attempted to start digging her way out, her claws scratching against yet more roots dug into the earth and blocking off her escape. She began to panic slightly until she heard a noise, slightly muffled by the giant's rear end. She blinked slightly as the light in her hole suddenly increased as the beat stood up, finally allowing Linu an exit. Not wishing to allow another opportunity to be trapped Linu immediately darted out between the creature's legs, coming to a halt behind the stump of another tree, a hiding place she could actually run away from without being trapped. Agro
Azure looked on in shock as Kiyoshi was pummeled into the ground. He was fighting a Golem, sure, but he hadn't expected such a direct hit to be given to a Raiju. This was bad, Azure looked back at Naoko, who was still focused on the little snake girl who had, seconds before, been trying to kill them. Within the chaos that surrounded his mind with Kiyoshi's defeat, he almost failed to notice the Golem making a move towards them. Seeing the size of the mace-like arm as it plunged towards them, Azure released his tail from its transformation and used it to slice into the ground in front of him, putting up a dust cloud in between them and the golem. With the distraction up, he quickly put his arms around Naoko and the snake girl, quickly jumping back with them to dodge the attack. Calmly, he set them down. "Are you alright?" Smiling gently to make sure his rescue attempt was successful before turning back to the golem, who's arm was now firmly planted into the ground. Azure smirked before leaping over the rock being's arm, coming down on top of its shoulder and smashing the weakened joint with one fierce chop. Fred howled as his arm fell completely off. Though quickly regained his composure as Azure lept down back in front of him. "I'll be your opponent, big guy." "Little whelp." The golem yelled back, I'll get you for that. Quickly- well, for a golem- Fred came after Azure again, laying down punch after punch with his three remaining arms at the boy, who simply dodged back and forth, grinning evermore at the attacks. "That all?" "You little rat!" The golem laid a particularly tough punch down at Azure, who once again dodged to the left, but unlike before, turned to the arm, which had again lodged itself into the ground. Grinning, he made a chop just as before and came down hard on the wrist just as he had with the shoulder before. This time it failed. Azure held his hand in pain as he remembered why it was that he had broken the arm previously. Stupid solid rock. He didn't have time to think it through though, as the hand that was lodged freed itself and came at Azure, swiping him off to the side like a gnat. "F*ck." Azure coughed as he tried to sit up, only to see the golem towering over him. "Silly little whelp, challenging me with simple martial arts." The golem raised another fist and aimed it at the prone Azure. "Now die." There was no time to dodge. Azure frowned, he'd have to do it. Putting both arms behind him to open up his chest, he inhaled, feeling the inner workings of his body transform from the chest to the throat and mouth. And as he exhaled, he blew heartily, his breath turning into a mass inferno that flew up at the golem, encapsulating it and forcing it back, even for just a moment. It would only surprise it, not beat it. "Fire breath...?" The golem laughed as it finally pushed through the flames with its right arm, which still glowed red after being heated. "What kind of amazing magic you posses, being able to copy the skill of an extinct species?" Azure smiled. Looks like he'd still have more tricks left up his sleeve to overcome this monstrosity, who now charged at him again. Azure relaxed his shoulders, feeling the spines slowly reappear in his back and scratch his shoulders, just enough for the drug within them to take their effects on his blood. To any normal person, this kind of poison would probably kill them. But thankfully, for him, he'd gain a few uses from it. Azure closed his eyes and smiled at the fist flying at him, sure that Fred only saw that he would not move. "Die you whelp!" A giant dust cloud emerged as the fist made contact with the ground, enveloping its target. It hung low and steady for several seconds, not revealing whether it had made contact, but there was little doubt in Fred's mind, he'd felt the body at the other end. He could still feel it. He could feel it pushing to escape... or rather. As the dust finally settled, Azure chuckled. His plan had succeeded, and he now held the Golem's fist from knocking him back with a single hand. The golem was shocked. "What's this?" "You sound like you're pretty tough. Allow me to respond." With his other hand, Azure put his fingers into a fist and came down with it hard against the clenched hand of the golem he was holding back. The result was explosive, as the arm fractured and fell apart from the impact point all the way to the shoulder. "Impossible!" "So, shall we continue?" "You little." The golem charged again at Azure, laying both hands down, trying to flatten the boy. Azure chuckled, easily leaping into the air to dodge the attack and landing on top of the two hands. As a means of jest, he transformed the insides of his mouth and, using the poison glands in his mouth, launched a stream of the poison all over the golem's face. In surprise the golem pulled back. "What was that?" "Oh, did you not like that? I'm sorry. I'd assumed by the way that you were fighting that you're used a guy's internal liquids all over your face." "What did you say?" Azure rolled his eyes and folded his arms. "Are ALL golems that slow, or is it just you?" "You little bastard, come here!" The golem rushed once again, and Azure made his decision on attack fairly obvious as he took a deep inhalation. Fred saw this and crossed his arms in front of him, which acted excellently as a barrier against the flames. "You think that little flames will hurt me, you fool!" Azure still kept it going, slowly edging towards the giant as he came at him. The fire wasn't working, but if he let up now, then the golem would get through to him. It was taking too long, even with effort, Azure realized that the fire wouldn't hurt the massive rock arms. He'd needed to soften them up and use the abilities of his poisons on himself to break just one of them, but he could feel the pain in that hand grow now. He'd probably broken every bone he had in that hand. As he winced at the pain, for only that brief second, the flames he was emitting ceased, and Fred took his opportunity. "Die you piece of s***!" The golem released his blockade and moved to grab Azure and squeeze him to death, laughing maniacally, the shine from the suns rays reflecting down on his victim from the poison that had previously been used to taunt him. And there was his chance. Without second guessing himself, Azure released another blast of fire targeted directly at the golem's head. There were only a few good uses for that poison he had. One was neutralizing certain magical abilities and lowering fighting strength of others. But the most enjoyable trait of them, was that when it made contact with heat... BOOM! An explosion erupted from the golem's head, rendering his current attack useless and sending him stumbling back screaming in pain and agony. The explosion had taken off most of the rock around his head and had knocked off a third arm. He stumbled back still, trying to balance himself with his arms, but not realizing he'd lost the third one, feel on his side. This fall placed him too close to the edge of the cliff however, and the ground gave way beneath his feet, sending him falling into the forest below. With a fall like that, there was little chance they'd be able to find him, even if he did survive. Azure sighed and stood up. God, he hated big, stupid enemies. They always take too much too beat. Slowly he walked back to the group and looked at Naoko. He smiled comfortingly. "Are you alrigh-." Azure was unable to finish his sentence, as the side effects of the drug he'd injected himself too effect and his migraines kicked in, causing him to fall to the ground. The Amazing Avian
After hearing the pager that signaled danger for the others, Azure was teleported away from the room. He could have let me in on that teleportation thing, but too late now.I think in situations like these, I am at least somewhat entitled to transform into my baseline state. He leaped out the window and performed a few somersaults in midair, while at the same time igniting himself with his foxfire, changing into his true form. As soon as his paws hit the floor, he ran as fast as he could, with four of his tails spinning behind him. If Azure hadn't teleported, maybe I could have followed him, but my best bet at this point would be to just check the Public Security Commission's club room. He decided to head toward it from the outside to avoid burning anything of value in the school, then a brief flash of lightning got his attention. It was very short lived, but Kyo knew he saw it. Why would there be lightning at a time like this? I don't see any ominous clouds right now. Maybe I should go check it out, for all I know, somebody could be the god of thunder himself. I just hope whoever that is, they're on our side. He turned towards the direction of the lightning and headed towards it. As he approached the location of the lightning bolt, he saw several students around the area, blocking off any others who were curious about what was going on. Kyo transformed back to his human form and walked towards one of them. "I have to get through."
Hotaru987
After calling to get the Gigantes' attention she was ready for it's charge - they were pretty predictable - but instead of a right out charge something else happened. A large rumbling sound came from it's stomach then pebble's started dropping from....It's....Narumi blushed, "Ugh! No way!" She yelped. It seemed that the Gigantes was embarrassed because it gave her an angry charge before throwing a punch with it's large hand. Narumi managed to weave around it and run behind it. "Alright take this-What!?" She exclaimed once she realized she wasn't in her Kitsune form any more. She fell to one knee sweating and panting slightly. 'I hadn't practiced in so many years...Guess I was too over confident in my abilities.' She glanced around and couldn't see Linu. "Well, at least she managed to get away. She didn't look like she was much of a fighter. Though...I'm not really much of one either." Narumi mumbled before standing back on her feet. 'Would my illusions be enough to stop it?...I can still use my foxfire in this form...So maybe all isn't lost.'
Raine
Cecil opened his eyes to a crashing echo. He had sat himself against the base of a dead oak, simply waiting out the fight. Rising, his mind followed suit, piecing together a clouded and worn mind. Soon, the battle will be over and when the smoke clears, the world will be a worse place than it was before. Cecil has always known and accepted, no, profited from it. That time again has come. The fact, however, that he noticed this was a bit disturbing, now was not the time to pretend he had a heart. The life of a demon is a tireless one. A few distorted voices and odd sounds continued on in the horizon, his pace moved forward. Cecil came quickly into view of clearing where the aftermath laid, Azure feel to the ground seemingly in pain. Cecil took a moment to compose himself as he brushed a bit of earth over his pant legs and forearms. After only a deep breath he stepped quietly into the clearing. His eyes catching the scars and conditions of his companion and terrain, he processed the conflict. After sealing Kiyoshi it seems Azure was the one to step up to defeat Fred. Cecil's gaze rested on Kiyoshi who had reverted, his power was effective, his glimmer of success was radiating. Though for now, Cecil moved his walk to a jog approaching fallen Azure. "Seems like you guys had quite a bit of fun, didn't you?" Just as he joined, his vision stumbled upon Nathalia; did she turn? No matter, he had no need for such weak minded subordinates. Cecil's eyes were preying on a bigger target anyways. He gave a stern stare towards her, if she was a smart girl she'd know to shut up. Cecil moved himself gracefully and quickly avoided as much attention as possible by mixing himself with the chaos of Azure's collapse. Only after moving close to Kiyoshi did he stop. Cecil knelt down as if checking on his wounds, before moving in on Kiyoshi's ear. "I'm surprised to see you here. I would have imagined you would be the hero of the day, apparently my expectations were too high. You know, Kiyoshi, there are paths to strength outside the normal walls of this academy. Think about it." Cecil rose, "Well, it looks like both your injuries may require some utmost attention. If you would I like to make up for my absence by accompanying Kiyoshi to the infirmary. I feel, disappointed with myself that I was unable to prevent these dangers from befalling my underclassmen." Cecil had to get out before Nathalia got wise and while Kiyoshi was still crestfallen from the previous engagement.
Kyng's Old Account
Gigantes Vs Narumi The Gigantes, obviously, cared not that Narumi was no longer in her fox form, as all it wanted to do was tear her to shreds. Worst thing was that, since it's brain was pretty much "KILL/FLEE" illusions would be minimal to no effect on this 8 foot titan of rock; it seemed the worst of the worst had happend, and even though his attack missed, it drew it's hands from the dirt and turned to see Narumi; this was when she was human again, and seeing this as a chance the Gigantes took his hands, bowled them up, and readied a hammer-punch to pound Narumi into the ground. But, it happened; with Fred being unconscious from the fall, he could no longer supply any cognitive power to the pile of stone, and so it pretty much just collapsed into a pile of rubble; it's stone hands were still high up, 8 feet + in the air above Narumi, so it's obvious she'd need to dodge it, but they're 8 feet in the air, she'd be fine! Kiyoshi Kiyoshi, now reverted to his human form, was still embedded in that crater; he didn't notice Azure powning the crap out of Fred, nor did he even seem to care; his eyes were widened, flickering as they stared into space, stress upon the boy's face for the first time ever as he felt...useless. He was fighting that stone Goliath and literally taking hits for the sake of opening a weak spot, taking blow after blow after painfully agonising blow, being thrown into trees and smashed into the earth, for the reason of finding a weak spot to finish the golem. He felt he could've done it, could've taken it down, and then...his own attack fried him... Then something, someone, a familiar voice spoke to him...in Kiyoshi's mind he heard three selective phrases... 'Expectations too high...hero of the day...the path of strength outside the walls of the academy...Kuro Inazuma wouldn't unleash because I'm not worthy of it? I'm not strong enough? I'm not strong enough...it's true, I'm not strong enough...I'm an Raiju, and I can't even lay a scratch upon a mere golem? I'm a disgrace, nothing but an utter failure...but failure isn't anything but an excuse...I need to get stronger, I want to get stronger, I will get stronger...there's not a question in my mind anymore, I need to become stronger, I need to control the Kuro Inazuma, I need to bring honour, dignity, and respect to my people...' Kiyoshi's body sparked a little, before he moved his arms, the limbs shaking, his hands pressing against the dirt as he pulled himself from the fist-shaped crater. Kiyoshi then spat ont he floor, a little bit of red mixed in his spit, as he rose it, his cheek cut and bleeding as his eyes winced, he got upon his knees and looked up, the clouds dispatching. "They know I'm not worthy." he said before a saddened look upon his face became evident; he stood up from his knees and walked, well, limped over to Cecil as he placed his hand upon his shoulder, Kiyoshi already out of breath, his eyes heavy, as he said... "You're amongst the Public Safety Commission, right? That means...that means...that you're strong, very strong; I need to become stronger...look at me, I was beaten to a pulp, and then...then he was swatted away like a fly...by Azure; I'm...I'm not an Raiju, I'm an abomination...but that's an excuse. It's do or don't, and I need...I want to become stronger..." Kiyoshi's hand firmly pressed upon Cecil's shoulder as he then blurted out "Cecil, I'll do anything to become stronger, to protect the people I care about! Please...please, help me, I need you."
Super Chaos Sonic
Senshi finally reverted back to his human form and he decided to sit on the ground. This was a hell of a day and right now...he needed to relax and rest. "Well...I guess this case was solved..." he said to himself, looking around at the others that were in the detective club. They were all so different, but they were exactly the same in certain areas. Mom...guess this school will make me be more like you were. Senshi thought, before standing up and dusting himself off. "Kiyoshi-san...are you and everyone else alright? C-Cause that seemed like a rough fight." he called out, not knowing he was talking to Cecil. Hotaru987
Narumi gulped as she noticed the Gigantes began to make his move. She quickly tried to come up with a plan, but she was drawing a blank. It seemed that all she could manage to do was stand there and wait for her death. Feeling the shadow of the gigantes' fist about to slam down on her, she closed her eyes waiting to be killed. Chancing opening her eyes she noticed that the gigantes had suddenly fell apart into pieces. 'Did...Yamada-san win?' Narumi thought smiling widely, only to realize that she was in the falling rock's way. Narumi jumped back, falling on her but, just barely dodging the stones that were embedded into he ground only centimeters from her. "Gah!! Th-that was close-oh!" Narumi quickly stood up her head whirling every which way. "Yami-san!? Yami-san! Are you still here?! The monster is dead now! It's ok to come out." Narumi checked under roots, bushes, behind trees and other small areas that she thought Linu could fit. "Where could she be?"
TotalObelisk
It didn't look like the rock monster had noticed Linu dart out between its legs, which was perfectly fine with her, although it now seemed focused on Narumi instead. Rather than help though Linu merely cowered behind the stump watching the pair, even if she could do something she doubted a simple little cat could do any serious harm to a creature made of rock, her only real abilities where either completely useless in combat or fire based, something which wouldn't be very affective against something that wasn't even organic. She ducked back behind the stump as the creature advanced, raising its fists to attack Narumi. She did not want to see this and practically pleeded in her head for Narumi to somehow get away. She heard the sound of rock crashing to the ground a moment later and froze, fearing the worst. It wasn't until she heard Narumi called for her a few moments later that she finally looked up in surprise. She hopped up onto the tree stump and looked around, seeing a pile of rocks where the creature had been standing while Narumi herself seemed to be searching for her. Linu was somewhat stunned, she hadn't expected Narumi to be able to take the creature down by herself (heck, she didn't even know what Narumi's abilities where). She drew her attention back over to Narumi, now somewhat impressed with her recent accomplishment. "Um...I'm over here," she said, making her voice as loud as she could (a somewhat tricky task in her cat form) and raising a paw as if this would help. Hotaru987
Narumi was becoming very worried Linu. What if she got stuck somewhere, or what if she was hurt? She was considering widening her search radius when she heard a small voice call out. If Narumi had been human she would have never heard it. A smile came to her face when she heard it, and she quickly ran over to where the voice was heard. Coming closer she spotted a small paw being raised. "Yami-san! I'm so glad I found you!" Narumi dropped down to her knees so that should could get closer, and her face became shrouded with worry. "Are you hurt anywhere? Can you walk, or do you need me to carry you?" Lunar Origins
Oblivious to her surroundings, Naoko was still helping Nathalia along. After her shirt was all but soaked in the girl's tears, Naoko hugged Nathalia a little tighter before letting her go. "It's all going to be alright." Nathalia, though, hadn't looked at her. Her gaze was focused on Cecil. This, along with the shock of the recent events, was too much strain on her. Without a moment to spare, she fainted. Naoko caught her as she almost fell to the ground. "I don't think it's safe for her here, anymore." Naoko sighed out. She spread her wings and, saying this more to herself than to anybody else, "I need to get her to the clinic." And with a burst of speed she was off into the air, carrying Nathalia along with her. Heaven forbid anybody else who tried to follow.
Raine
The most accomplished of smiles graced Cecil's lips as he turned to the kneeling Kiyoshi, "And you will." His hand slid across the side of Kiyoshi's face, as if he was a precious son. His expression became serious. Cecil's voice was just quiet enough as to not be overheard, "You will taste power beyond your wildest imagination. To be respected, to be feared, to be loved; the power you need I will grant you. You are not an abomination, you are a king without light but the time is not now." Kiyoshi was his, Cecil had achieved something momentous, the power of an S-Class. The future was now as violent as ever, soon the balance of power will shift and even Bapiste with his sword could not stop the events to come. Removing his hand, Cecil averted his eyes, "Become a lance, guided and strong. Come and find me. Come and find what you seek." Those were the parting words before Cecil strayed from Kiyoshi's side. After a moment, seperating himself from the group. Cecil reached for his collar and spoke softly into a microphone, "Sweep and clean". Only a moment later a voice came to life from the same device, "Roger, help survivors and standard protocol in effect. ...you should know, sir-" Cecil's face showed a slight bit of concern responding with a curious "hmm?". "It would nice if you gave us someone to actually fight every once in a while." A chuckle escaped Cecil, "We're at a High School, Hughs. Tell you what, we'll talk about a spec. op over lunch." A single beep followed killing the mic. Cecil's gaze shifted over to Azure. He was laying, unconscious from over-exerting himself. Placing his steps over to him, Cecil knelt down beside Azure. "Our gallant hero of the day and here you lay, forgot in the chaos of the moment. It's shameful," a sigh escaped, "You may be my enemy but you earned my respect". Rustling and the sound of boots of the foliage filled the air, as militarized figures emerged from the surrounding trees. Cecil examined as groups of armored students gathered around the others, attending to there needs... after first dealing with the shock of them finding out we had an actually militaristic force. "Your chariot awaits," he said softly to the unconscious Azure. In a single motion Cecil slid his hand underneath Azure's shoulders resting him softly and his left hand underneath his knees. Cecil rose picking up Azure. A footman of his safety force approached him, "Sir, please allow us," spoke the peon. A quick nod sent the man off to retrieve a stretcher the group and brought. Cecil gracefully rested Azure on the white board afterwords giving a stern look to the footmen, "See to that he and the others receive swift care, these men and women are officially under the protection of our organization. Try to be gracious hosts." As the two carried away Azure, Cecil watched as the fainted Natashia and others who required medical attention were taken to the campus. The worried and friends followed, even taking Kioshi with him. Soon the commotion and crowd died down, leaving only Cecil alone in the battle-scarred arena. The silence was omnipresent, only shattered occasionally by breaks in the wind. A cough escaped, no, it was more deliberate then that. Another one came. His palm pressed now harshly against his mouth, eyes shut, his chest pulsating violently. It was too much, his hand removed, a terrifying and hearty laugh filled the woods. The dark cheering laugh that he had held back for so long escaped Cecil out of sheer ecstasy. It quieted, slowly, but after a minute the sound too silenced. Knees hit cool soil, fingers clenched his face, scarlet eyes pierced the horizon. "This is only the beginning. The future is prepared to be forged, it is I who will wield the hammer. For I am Izanagi, father of gods, with Susanoo will become my lance." Cecil disappeared.
Kyng's Old Account
Kiyoshi's ears picked up as soon as his cheek felt the sudden touch of Cecil's delicate fingers upon him, his weakening state picking up little of Cecil's offer but only the pieces he would have even been remotely interested in. Cecil promised him power, strength beyond reasonable doubt, and that's just what Kiyoshi wanted; what else could he need right now. He hadn't even heard a word of what Senshi had said to him, his eyes bizzared as his mind clouded with Cecil's proposition. The words rang in his head like a church's bell crashing to the ground from the tower, echoing and leaving a profound effect upon his mind. Kiyoshi's self doubting was irrational, he believed, because it was as Cecil promised. It wasn't long before many of the students had been taken into custody of the Public Safety Commission, Kiyoshi too upon a stretcher having passed out moments after, but prior to this his gaze went over to Fred...no, Fred wasn't there...where he should've been Azure was, reclined over with a severe pain in his head, before being collected by some of Cecil's cronies. Kiyoshi's mouth muttered the words "Thank you..." yet his mind spoke "You...sabotaged me." before he inevitably fell into a passed out state, incapacitated and worn from the events prior to the conflict. It was dark, black, no sound beyond his voice, where Kiyoshi woke, suddenly thinking aloud in his mind "I'm weak. Cecil can dress it up any way he wants, but..." gazing upwards, he saw clouds above in this dark environment, thunder sounding afar as he said "...I couldn't control my own powers...no, it wasn't that...my Black Lightning; it judged me, and deemed me as unworthy...". Kiyoshi gazed into the clouds of lightning, hearing the words Cecil spoke again, he continued and said "...it judged me because I didn't know what path I'm to talk, but he'll guide me. He'll show me the true extent of my powers...and then I'll be able to...be able to..."
Chapter 2 - Aftermath! Changing Perspectives! It'd been a week since that moment, since that intense confrontation, the confrontation which had shook everyone there, but none more so than the Raiju Kiyoshi Yamada; he wasn't in the nurse's room all week, he was simply in for a night, extreme fatigue the sole reason which caused him to pass out, and a good night's sleep was all he needed. Needless to say he emerged back into his lessons with ease, nothing too much had changed there, but he had began to shirk his meetings at the YAJDS Club, despite being amongst the many who're to host said meetings as the head alongside Naoko. Rather, Kiyoshi was simply considering the idea of whether or not to take up Cecil's offer. He had purposely tried to avoid the entire cast of the club just to think this over, unsure if he could face any of them after what had happened. He felt a mixture of emotions: embarrassment from failing to fulfill his promise to beat the Golem, guilt for the possible let down he had thrusted upon his friends for breaking said promise as well as the failure jabbing a pang of the let down into his own self, shock from his own failure to finish his own attack, disappointment from the effort he had put into it...he couldn't face them. He'd imagined it over in his head, narumi popping up and, despite her usual cute-as-a-button innocent nature, questioning him on it, as well as Sese, then Azure probably looking down upon him as well as Jin, and as for Senshi and Linu, he believed they'd just flatly ignore him, and Naoko? He didn't know, maybe she'd just avoid him too. He didn't know, but all he knew now was he was walking down the dusty path to Yokai Academy, step by step, his shoes trodding upon the dirt with small dusty poofs from them, looking down at the path as he passed a few students. The crowds were vast, those greyish-green jackets expressing the uniformity of the school, it meant to him he could just blend back in, avoid the inevitable hopefully. Regardless, after passing by he looked ahead, Yokai Academy not too far now, so he decided that he'd pick up his form from his pocket and re-read over it: an excuse for an absence, his ticket to finding Cecil and deciding upon the offer at hand. TotalObelisk
Linu hugged her pillow tightly, staring groggily up at the alarm clock still beeping endlessely to try and coax her out of bed. Linu didn't want to get out of bed though and would be quite happy if the matress just absorbed her into it and never let go. She felt terrible, since the incident last week with the golem creature she's been overwhelmed by a massive feeling of guilt over the whole thing. She and Narumi had somehow survived the stone creature sent after Linu and returned to the rest of the group in time to see them unconscious or being carried off. From the looks of the scene around them it looked to have been one hell of a fight, the golem being nowhere in sight and both Azure and Kiyoshi, probably the two strongers members of the club, out cold. After taking all this in Linu's mood instantly plummeted upon the realization that, while everybody else was trying to defend themselves, she'd just run away. The feeling had persisted throughout the week to the point where Linu was skipping classes far more often and just remaining in her room all day. Nobody saw anything unusual in this, assuming she was just being overly shy and scared of strangers and so showed little concern for it. Even when she did occasionally venture in though Linu payed very little attention to anything said by the teachers. After an agonizing few minutes of the alarm clock drilling into her ear Linu finally decided to give in and slid out of bed, turning the alarm off and heaving a low, unenthusiastic yawn. I wonder if anybody will notice if I just ran away? She thought to herself as she got dressed, not even bothering to hide the bags under her eyes. Already running late she decided to skip breakfast, a choice she came to regret as she walked up the path to the school with her stomach gurgling at her. Hotaru987
"It's been really quiet compared to last week." Narumi mumbled as she sat in the library, resting her arms on the table and pouting lightly. 'Not only that but Yamada-san hasn't been to any of the meetings. Not that I've been looking for him or anything! I mean it's just nice to see him everyone once and a while. But it's only because it's been a long week! Wait...Why am I trying to defend myself?' Narumi sighed, and sat up to stretch. "I must be thinking about it too much." "Alright Kayoska-chan, here it is." Narumi looked over to the young male beside her, who sat in front of the computer. She smiled cutely at him, causing him to blush and look away. Though the action confused her, she continued to smile. "Thank you so much Takamatsu-kun. I don't know how to use these computers so it would have taken me forever to find out how to do this." "No problem. If you need anything else don't hesitate to call." Narumi nodded with a small giggle, "Alright." Breakfast had ended a bit ago, but it didn't matter since she had her fill on spirit fires before coming to school. She also decided to get to school earlier so she could finish up some homework she received two days ago. Not long later she finished - with more help from Tadamatsu - and left, searching through the students hoping for a familiar face. She didn't think she would find anyone until, "Ah! Yami-san!" Narumi smiled waving wildly from her stationary position. It looked like Linu only just got to school.
CommanderVolt
Somewhere in the Men's dorm at Yokai Academy, Jin was lying in his bed, seemingly peaceful. His dorm room was kept neat and tidy, almost too tidy, not something you'd expect from a seemingly teenage male. The room had a quiet atmosphere, but it was interrupted by Jin's groaning in his sleep. Wearing only a white tea-shirt the upper half of his body stuck out from a clean white blanket. His face was sweating and had a pained expression, he seemed to be having a nightmare. He's missed alot of vital things at the academy lately but it's not his fault. He knew he had alot of explaining to do but he was given his own task whilst also having to leave the academy to take care of his mother. Finally, after moments of struggle, Jin hurls him self up, and begins to breath heavily as he opens his eyes and stares into his blanket. "...These nightmares never stop..." He said to him self, knowing that there was no one there to hear him. Tossing the blanket to his side, Jin got out of his bed and stood up straight. He stretched his tall body and then sighed heavily after. Despite how shy of a person he is, his body is in great physical condition. Jin glances around the room while gathering his thoughts. Walking over to his dresser he quickly threw on a clean Yokai Academy Uniform, and would glance at a clock sitting atop his dresser afterwards. "I still have time, that's good." He said to him self again. "Maybe I can catch Kiyoshi-kun before Classes start." As he spoke he walked towards a stack of papers hand written by him self. The first page seemed to be titled MSM. He carefully placed them inside a shoulder-bag which he slung over him self and headed out the door. Making it outside in a timely manner Jin stopped and stared up at the sky. It was a clear day, so he smiled faintly, perhaps it was a sign of a good day. "Right...i need to try and find Kiyoshi." Jin shook his head and then glanced around, it was early and yet there were already many students bustling about, finding Kiyoshi would be difficult since Jin isan't as used to everyones appearances as he probably should be. Jin on the other hand, could be spotted easily due to how much taller he is, but Jin him self is to shy to try and call out Kiyoshi's name while looking for him. Jin evantually caught up with the crowd of students and glanced around a little nervously. Not seeing Kiyoshi anywhere and occasionally accidently bumping into other students where he would shout an apolagy and then rush past them. "...damn...has Kiyoshi already made it to the academy?"
Agro
Azure rubbed his head as he finally stepped out of the infirmary building. Technically speaking, it probably would have been better suited being called a hospital. It certainly worked like one. Those nurses had had him bedridden for days, even after he was feeling fine. He'd had so much time for himself, he'd basically spent it thinking through exactly what it was that had happened in that battle. More importantly, why he even took part. Normally Azure wasn't the type to get in on a fight that didn't necessarily involve him. Well, maybe it did. At least the old hag would say that, but then again, wasn't joining up with the YAJDS HER idea? He certainly didn't want to do it, and the club's description certainly didn't require him to. Azure sighed, conceding that he may never know exactly why he stepped in and got himself injured; tossed into a death-ridden hospital to lie in wait for weeks unable to know whether he'd ever get to leave. Azure gulped. Never again. Well it wasn't ALL that bad. After all, a lot of the YAJDS members came to visit him, and none of them seemed at all worried that he'd die off at any second, so that was good. Plus because of that Nathalia girl- who Azure still didn't yet trust and was pretty sure didn't have very many good feelings towards him likewise- he got to spend a little time with Naoko. Actually, the only person he didn't remember seeing was… "Kiyoshi!" What a coincidence. Who knows, maybe he was busy and was just coming to see him now at the last second… or that's what Azure wished he could believe. Unfortunately, the current time fact that the school building's location and infirmary were not widely comparable, not to mention the demeanor that Kiyoshi had on his face, all kept him from thinking so. "Hey Kiyoshi! I haven't seen you in a while, how've you been?" He said it smiling, whether or not Kiyoshi's expression called for it.
Super Chaos Sonic
Senshi walked out of the infirmary, before standing outside in the hall. The nurse said that the poison was neutralized, but the young Fenrir still felt uneasy. He felt like he was completely weak and useless...even with his Fenrir form. They all...they all were stronger than me. They were able to survive quickly in the fight...but I was put out of commission because of that poison... he thought, sighing as he finally walked off. A-At least Sese was able to bring me back into consciousness... Senshi stopped again, before thinking about how Kiyoshi fought in that battle. It seemed he was able to fight with such a style that could get the job done. "I...I have to ask Kiyoshi-san if he could teach me...how to fight as well as he can."
Elƒie
Sese was busy running to Yokai Academy. Her face and hair were sweaty from the archery practice she had just finished doing. She would have washed up and went to class, but she was running late for an appointment she said. In one of her classes over the past week, a group assignment was handed out. Her group was just about done with it but a few final touches were needed. Sese volunteered to go to school early today and make those changes. Having been caught up with archery practice, it she was going to be cutting it close with making the final touches. As she was just a few running steps away from the academy, Sese looked at her watch and let out a sigh or relief. She was going to make it after all! Looking up just in time, she let out a yelp as she ran into another student, alomost a second one as well, who had accidentally stopped walking in front of her. Rolling off of the student and holding her forehead, she let out a small groan of pain. "S-Sorry about that! I shouldn't have been running! I was late getting somewhere cause I got caught up with archery practi- Kiyoshi! Where've you been? Everyone's been worried about ya.. After that intense fight last week, we were worried about if you got seriously injured of something! OH! I haven't been able to thank ya about saving me from that Golem! Who know's what woulda happened if ya hadn't us." Standing up and dusting herself off quickly, she offered him a hand to help him up. Looking to her side, she noticed the student she almost ran into was Azure. "Hey Azure, you alright? I almost ran into you as well," she chuckled out. Raine
Cecil's finger tapped impatiently on the top side of the table, his mind so flustered with thoughts and frustration he had stopped paying attention to the meeting at hand. "Cecil? Would you care to honor us with your attention long enough to give your opinion?," the voice belonged to a rather annoying, at least in Cecil's opinion, commission leader; good with numbers and politics, bad with everything else. Cecil decided he should at least be enough effort into a proper retort, "I would rather not, it is not my expertise to give advise on the logistics and allocation of club capital and I find it disconcerting that our board which was specifically formed to deal with these issues and has fallen so desperate as to request my aid. You must be truly awful at your job." The commission head only froze for a moment, not expecting such a reply but just before the head could try to come-back, the pair was interrupted. "Cecil," said a rather thin elegant-styled man near the center of the group but his speaking up commanded the respect and attention of the room, "You are dismissed." Cecil was quick to leave, partly because he was simply sick of those bureaucrats who have no idea the work he does to keep the PSC afloat and second-. The elegant man from before followed Cecil outside the clubroom, his face was steel, cold and hard. "Is this your idea of discretion?" Cecil just shrugged and gave a brief sigh, "You know I can't deal with those-". "I don't care," the man responded harshly, "Keep your damn pride in line. That mockery with the detective club was disgraceful". Cecil responded sharply, "But not fruitless." The man was only silent for a moment, "I'm trusting you. Go." And like that, the man went back through the door. Cecil gave a stern glare towards the door. John Baptiste, foreign and arguably the most influential student in the academy. He hated him. Cecil began down the hall; maybe it was to walk off some steam, maybe to think, he wasn't sure. John was the only person in the club he could be eclipsed by and that sheer fact drove Cecil mad. "Soon," Cecil checked his watch, "a weapon to humble even Batiste's." Cecil soon found himself to an alternative clubroom for the commission, the one he personally saw as his own. Th attached steel rooms and secret passage did help to affirm that belief though. "If he is to find me, he will do so where we first met," a light smile graced his face.
Kyng's Old Account
Kiyoshi didn't know of Linu's anxieties of her own cowardice, nor did he know of Narumi missing him, as she rationalized being because it was nice to see him. He didn't know of Jin searching for him, nor did he know of Senshi's desire to find him, to learn of the Raiju. He did, however, manage to encounter Azure, who'd asked him how he was feeling, reminding the Raiju that he had avoided them for the whole week, despite his intention was far from doing so. This, to Kiyoshi, was a kick in the teeth: here was Azure asking how he was doing, but whether he knew it or not, Azure had, to Kiyoshi at least, stolen his kill, robbed him of his opponent, and stripped the Raiju of his pride. Deep down, in his beast's nature, he despised the Raiju. This, at the moment, wasn't to surface, his humanity disallowing this to consume him. However, he did have to leave Azure that moment as soon as he very well could. Before he had a chance to respond to Azure, however, he was in a collision course by Sese's cute yet reckless need to get up to speed, Kiyoshi not finding it cute or reckless but rather a pain in the neck...and back...and everywhere else the crash had caused damage to. Her words, about him saving them from the Golem, weren't ones he appreciated in the slightest, due to the fact they weren't true, but Sese evidently didn't know that. It wasn't too much of a bother to him, but his inner self...he was infuriated. Regardless, his humanity had suppressed this again as he took Sese's helpful hand and, rubbing the back of his hand, before his habitual ritual of scratching his chin. Brushing the dirt of his clothes he smiled upon the two as he said "I'm just dandy, thanks for asking you guys." as he scratched the back of his head nervously, trying to piece together a way to put this excuse into motion...wait a minute, he had a form to explain his absence, so taking it out he said "I'm sorry you guys, I'm far too busy with other little trinkets to make the meeting. But just make sure you let Narumi, Naoko, Senshi and the others know I'm dandy, okay?" before patting Azure upon his back and making his way into Yokai without a goodbye, not even looking back, his mind dead set upon finding Cecil and becoming stronger, becoming greater, powerful enough to restore his pride. It was like instinct, innate in Kiyoshi that he knew exactly where Cecil was, as he walked, avoiding any of the glances, whether it was a few science fanatics snorting behind their spectacles, groups of girls giggling over the guy, or brute bullies who walked up to him demanding some funds, in which instance merely walking past them with his air, which sent the bullies themselves out of their original vibe, unsettling them. Eventually it was not long before he had reached the club room, in Yokai uniform as usual, looking across to Cecil as he said "No more waiting." Raine
Cecil sat near the window opposite the door, his expression emotionless and serious. When Kiyoshi arrived seeming eager and determined he only gave a mild glance before turning his sights back to the world on the other side of the window. He took a deep breath, "Have you ever heard of Damocles?" Cecil looked back to Kiyoshi standing near the door, "It one of my favorites". His focus faded into space, "It's an old myth about a young man who envies the fortune and power of a king. The king hearing of his envy, offers to switch places with him. Damocles accepts anxiously." Cecil rose from his chair, "However, the king had suspended a sword right above the throne held in place by a single strand. He told Damocles that it represents the fear that one lives under with such great power." Cecil took a step towards him, "Damocles pleaded to return the throne in fear of the sword thus, the saying, Sword of Damocles." Cecil broke off his eye contact with Kiyoshi and began to the move around the desks of the room, as it seemed they had been aligned for some small groups. The traces of light we're purely from the windows, leaving the classroom unevenly lit. "Kiyoshi," he started while still working, "You come to me for, what exactly?". Cecil spoke again before he could be interrupted, "Do not say power? The point I am making with my story is power itself is a horrid thing. It drives people mad. One cannot be happy as long as they live in the terror accompanied with it." A deep sigh followed, "People like me have long since given up our happiness, in exchange, we gain the opportunity to possess both the ability to both change and leave this world. To achieve goals otherwise impossible." Cecil stopped finishing placing the final desk, he gave Kiyoshi a sympathetic glare, "Are you ready for that? The sacrifice? The fear and paranoia? To change yourself to an unknown limit? Is your desire that strong?" He had to ensure this. His bid for power, his obsession, his insight; all of it will must be made affirmed. He must choose this. Then, only then, will Cecil begin.
