Yōkai Academy is a special school made for the purpose of monsters coexisting with humans, founded by the three Dark Lords, one of whom is the dean of the school. Yōkai Academy is surrounded by a barrier called the Great Barrier which separates the academy from the human realm, hiding it from plain sight. The only known way to get to Yōkai Academy from the human world is through a bus that travels through a tunnel called the &"Tunnel of the Fourth Dimension", which, according to the bus driver, has various "mouths" that open to various tunnels all throughout Japan. The barrier is powered by a rosario seal that is similar to one soon to be student Moka Akashiya's rosario deep within the academy, and according to Mikogami, if the barrier collapses, all of the suppressed energy contained in the yōkai world will flood over to the human world, creating chaos and disorder.
The Rules at Yōkai Academy are the following:

1: All students must remain, at all times, in their human forms whilst they are on campus.
2: You are to report any rule breakers to the academy head.
3: Use of monster powers in contests are strictly prohibited.
4: Trips to the human world, unless stated otherwise, are strictly prohibited.
5: You are not allowed to kill another Monster on or off campus.
Alongside the rules of Yokai Academy, these rules must be abided to in order to allow this RP to function more swimmingly:

6: All YCM Rules apply, including the Advanced Clause.
7: ::Kyng:: & Her Scarlet Knight are the hosts of this RP, and consequentially we will have the final overriding say in relation to this RP.
8: This is a PG-16 RP, and consequentially there is likely to be higher grades of swearing and sexual references in this RP.
9: We will only be accepting about 6 applicants outside our own, and each applicant, for the time being, may only have one character.
10: Please PM your application to either ::Kyng:: or Her Scarlet Knight in order for either of us to band your character in a suitable class.

So, try abide to them, and your time at Yōkai Academy should be enjoyable!

Chapter 1 - Assembly! Here comes the Detective Club!

A typical nice summer breeze blew through the grey skies of the forest, the dead trees standing there firm despite their deceased colour, scent, look, feel. Tombstones too, on the side of the road. At first it overlooked the sea, but it went deep into the forest, and it easily became a winding road to Yōkai Academy, the school for monsters. Well, it damn well looked like one! The building stood there looking like a large Gothic Manor decorated and adorned with the most depressing and fear instilling ornamentation man would expect, but regardless it was expected for a Monster School, huh? It was normal, wasn't it?

Such were the thoughts of one Kiyoshi Yamada, freshman at Yōkai Academy. Kiyoshi, like some monsters here, had lived in the human world prior to even knowing of the place, but he managed to fit in, make friends, you know, the ideal norm you'd expect of a boy. But remember, he's at Yōkai Academy for a reason: he's a monster. His trademark long hair, small face, skinny build, and human-ish look was very deceiving, and even more so when he was in the uniform too, but Kiyoshi's monster form would be easily revealed if he just flicked his hair over his ears. See, he was a Raijū, an entity of such power that his human form had restraints on it, and the ears were exactly that. He couldn't hide them unless they were beneath the ears.

Anyways, back to the story. These were the thoughts that ran through Kiyoshi's head as he had left the bus, smiling as usual with his wide eyes looking at the dense forest of dead trees. See, looking over the trees may install fear into some individuals, whereas others may simply brush off the thought. Kiyoshi's response, an open thought...

"Hmm...it looks a little dead...it suits the whole theme I suppose!"

...Yep, this lad was a very content one, and now we're back where we started. Kiyoshi was walking up this road, his feet trodding on the ground with comfort as the dust nicely brushed against his shoes; Kiyoshi didn't realize how lightweight he was when he had walked quite the distance without even noticing a little fatigue. Kiyoshi had no idea what to expect at Yōkai Academy, however, because he had lived in the human world all this time, but now he'd finally be in a friendly school environment with people like him, so what wasn't to like?
Oh, how the scenes around this wonderful place pleased her to no end. The lush and cobblestone-colored branches of the less-than-alive trees just seemed to lift Naoko's mood higher and higher- such sights made her happy in an inexplicable way. Dead trees, tombstones, gothic architecture... Yōkai Academy had it all, or so it seemed. Top that off with a fine swimming pool and an active community and you had yourself a little slice of heaven for the average monster.

The best part about the Academy?

"No humans!" Naoko said to herself, her upbeat and skippy voice echoing throughout the trees surrounding the path she strolled upon. "All of this just for us monsters..." Her smile grew wider than ever. After a week at this place she never wanted to leave. The teachers, though a few more odd than not, were nice, and the student body as a whole seemed to be a whole lot more grown-up than they were in the Middle School. But, no matter.

As she strolled along the path, a select few others, all male students, gave her appreciative glances. She was... attractive, to say the least. At fifteen any Succubus, or any half-Succubus, for that matter, would have to be! That didn't matter to her though. Looks, no matter how good or how bad, never meant a thing to her. What mattered to Naoko, you see, was the real essence of a person- their personality and skills.

Speaking of skills, Naoko began to exhibit one of hers as she strolled along the winding path up to the Academy. Her prime talent was singing. It had always been singing. Naoko was primarily self-taught in this area, mastering all ranges her airy vocal cords could reach. With some more guidance from her mother, however, she picked up things she never thought she could achieve with her own voice, even going so far as to cause it to lure people towards her from far away.

She walked and walked, not once stopping on her way towards the Academy. Sometimes she would adjust her shirt, sometimes her tie, but never completely halting her movement. It was only when she caught a glimpse of one of her new friends that she would stop dead in her tracks. His familiar face, jet-black hair, and his light looking build all gave him away.

"Kiyoshi-san!" She shouted, cupping her hands over her mouth. She didn't really need to do that to amplify her voice... it just felt right to her. "Are you headed towards the meeting room?" Obviously she was referring to the YAJDS Club room, of which both Kiyoshi and she were both members. In fact, the YAJDS seemed to lack a real leader... Perhaps she could take on the position herself?
It had been a week, an entire week, with nothing but introductory classes and the sort which Kiyoshi didn't knock the stuff, but it was repetitive and, well, it took a lot out of the guy! But of course there's nothing like a good ol' dose of sleep that can't fix that, right? Plus, these activities were really constructed towards getting those into meeting and making new friends at the school, so of course they'd have to oblige to them. In fact, a few of them were actually quite entertaining, a few goofballs making people laugh when they badgered up the activities, snappy puns, etc. It was ideal, happy, and fun! But most importantly, it was to make friends.

Kiyoshi himself had signed up to a club, the Yōkai Academy Junior Detective Service Club, or rather the YAJDS Club for short, as it'd be a mouthful to say it over and over. In fact, when he, along with a few others, heard out the name being called, the announcer himself ran short of breath. Kiyoshi saw it as an opportunity, and he didn't regret it for a second! Firstly, he had a flair in doing the job, as it'd give him tons of cool access to places around Yōkai Academy, secondly he'd have a good extracurricular activity on his record...

And thirdly..."Kiyoshi-san!" That sweet sounding voice in his ears...no, not because of the voice, but who it belonged to! Kiyoshi had met a girl called Naoko Morgan, who'd received her fair share of gossip around the school for her looks, and rumours of a fanclub too, but Kiyoshi felt they were good friends and he didn't mind getting the privledge to walk with her; it went without saying fanboys cried at the sight but they had really misinterpreted their relationship! Kiyoshi turned to the voice and he saw Naoko walking up to him, which followed a "Naoko-chan, good morning!" and then the stopping in order for her to catch up, and walking with her as he looked ahead.

"Yeah, I was going to the meeting; I suppose you were too, huh?" Kiyoshi said as he made his way to the Academy, it now appearing in sight as their walk had taken longer than expected. Kiyoshi then looked at Naoka and said "You look nice today Naoko-chan, I'm guessing you had a good sleep, and a healthy breakfast, right?"
Naoko was generally surprised at this boy's question- and even more so at his usage of honorifics towards her. Not that it really bothered her- it never did when someone used the suffix '-chan', but it did seem a tad bit awkward. That, and she also began to realize that they began to refer to each other using first names. Another oddity. He was an interesting boy, though. Very interesting.

"Well, of course I got a good rest, Yamada-san. I always do. The breakfast, though, not so much." She sighed. Lately she hadn't been getting any chance to make breakfast. She did get a good night's sleep, but only at the cost of waking up without time to even make herself something to eat! Balance was something she'd have to learn quick if she wanted to maintain good physical health as well as good grades. Of course most things, save math, weren't even a problem for her. She was very skilled in English in particular- the language fascinated her and really seemed rather nice.

She realized that they were closing in on the school. "Yamada-san," She began, motioning towards the activities building. "do you happen to remember which room we're in? I can't recall..." Her head hung down, as if she was slightly embarrassed. "A week in and I'm already beginning to forget where things are!"
At the moment that Naoko mentioned his surname Kiyoshi blushed, realizing he called her by an honourific which, after recalling, she found a little odd. 'Darn it!' Kiyoshi thought to himself as he realized the silly little error he made, and when he got the chance he'd make sure he ammended the situation. For the meanwhile he scratched his head as he tried to come to terms understanding her little situation about sleeping well at the cost of food. Kiyoshi then said "Well, Naoko, how about we have lunch together with the others at the club? My treat?" with a smile as he nudged her shoulder playfully letting out a laugh doing so, and a yawn, and streching his arms over his head...well, he'd explain it at some point of the day.

Kiyoshi chuckled when Naoko admited to forgetting their homeroom, to which he patted her on the back as he tried to lighten her spirits saying "Don't be upset! Anyways, it's not irregular not to remember everything so soon. Anyways, we're in Room 1 - 3, first floor on the left, next to the...umm...oh, what's it called again...you know, where you go when you're sick...the infimary, that's it!" Kiyoshi clearly showed pride in the sense he remembered the word, but not so much; it was a fairly simple word anyways. Regardless better to say that than the nurses office, it made him sound...well, there wasn't really a differene so much in how he sounded.

And eventually the front gates of the Academy was right before them. Kiyoshi rested his arms on one of the pillars at the front door as he looked over outside the gates saying "Do you ever wonder, Naoko, if this place was ever, you know, filled with life? I mean I can actually picture it green and flowery, but...oh, I'm worrying over nothing aren't I? rolling his eyes at the remark. Eventually a few students walked by him talking about wondering who was what, as in their monster forms, and Kiyoshi smiled to their remarks saying to Naoko "I wonder what you could be, Naoko? I bet you're something awesome!"
Naoko smiled at his request for her to eat lunch with him and the rest of the club. This sounded like an absolutely wonderful idea, of course! Sure, she had gotten a couple of requests from a few older students to eat with them, but those requests never really seemed... well, genuine, to say the least. At least with Yamada-san it seemed interesting... hell, with anyone from the YAJDS it seemed like it would be quite the experience. She giggled at the thought.

"Of course, Yamada-san," She responded to his nudge with a little bump of her own. "I would love to have lunch with you and the rest... Though you better hold up to your end of the bargain! I'm starving." As if on cue, her stomach growled. Another giggle escaped.

So he then told her where exactly the club was located. She made a mental note, Room 1-3, next to the infirmary, and the pair began to walk towards the room. "So, you wonder if this place..." She looked over the beautiful, dead scenery. "Could have ever been teeming with life? I don't doubt it, Yamada-san. I don't doubt it at all..." She leaned in close to Yamada's ear, then whispered: "and, hey, about monster forms. If you really want to know mine I can tell you, but you'd have to tell me yours... It'll be our little secret." She smiled and drew away, leading the pair towards the class room.

Naoko drew the doors open, a musty, unused scent filling the air as she did so. "Yuck, this place hasn't been used in ages!" She commented. "Looks like no one is here." After that she left Yamada's side and lazily floated down into one of the chairs. "Not even our club sponsor is here...! Maybe we'll just have to greet them on our own."
Kiyoshi himself smiled as Naoko was onboard with the idea, and now he'd have a great way to get to know the other members much better! After all, what could be a better way than treating everyone to a nice dinner! See, though Kiyoshi and Naoko clicked, Kiyoshi was determined to be friends with the entire cast of the detectives! But anyways, Naoko whispered into his ear about her monster form, and it reall drove his eagerness as she teased him like that, saying "Aww yes! I can't wait! Hey, maybe we can't get some club members to join us too?"

Eventually they had arrived at their room, a dusty old place which clearly needed to be worked on. But walking over to the chalkboard and wiping it, his hand blackened with dust, Kiyoshi said "At least we have a chalkboard!" and went onto wiping the entire thing. "Wait, we have a sponsor? I wonder who it is..." Kiyoshi pondered at the statement as he continued to toil over the classroom to make it look nicer. From tables to desks, and what more was he whistled whilst doing it, saying to Naoko "Hey, you have a good voice, care to sing us a catchy tune to clean to?"

Kiyoshi continued to whistle, cleaning to the rhythm, and put quite the effort into the place! He started pushing the tables together and collecting chairs, and then finally the piece de resistance: Kiyoshi wrote on the chalkboard "Welcome YAJDS Members!" in bubble writing, a soft smile on his face as he turned to Naoko saying "Right! We're done, so let's get ready to meet our club members!"

Linu wandered down the path towards Yokai Academy at an agonizingly slow pace, having already waited a good few minutes after everybody else had cleared out of the dorm rooms before following and keeping her ears pricked. Even after coming here for a year she was still not used to the place, a school for monsters was not an ideal place for her, even if she was a Yokai herself. She found herself fidgeting a lot, constantly shifting her grip on her bag even though both hands where firmly wrapped around it.

Despite failing her previous year she had promised to do better this year but still felt no better despite it, in an attempt to try and boost her rather low expectations she had chosen to join a club, pretty much putting her finger on the first one she’d spotted which thankfully hadn’t been any of the sport oriented ones, with any luck there wouldn’t be too many people there either. Linu was already having second thoughts, however, mostly due to barely glancing over the club’s description and not reading in detail until after she’d signed up, as it was she didn’t know the first thing about detective work, only catching brief snippets from the TV owned by the humans her family lived with, and most of the cases there involved digging up a dead body or two, a concept which frankly terrified her.

Pretty much every instinct she had was telling her to just drop out and choose something else, something quiet and less likely to have a lot of people, but (in an impressive display of willpower) she chose to stick with her choice no matter what.

Her journey up to the gates passed in a blur and she quickly found herself inside, which was at the very least more welcoming than the tombstone lined road leading up to it. After a minute of wandering and almost constantly checking the information she’d written on the palm of her hand lest she forget she eventually found the room she was looking for. She stood outside for a moment or two, partly to double, triple and quadruple check that she was in the right place, partly out of nerves. She could hear movement coming from inside and some degree of talking so that obviously meant there where people in there already, most likely people she didn’t know. She swallowed her courage (what little of it there was) and opened the door, poking her head inside to take a look.

The first thing she noticed was the large blackboard at the end of the room with the words "Welcome YAJDS Members!" written on it, so at least she was in the right place. Her eyes then moved around the rest of the room to see its other occupants which, to her slight relief, were only 2 people.

“Um…Hello,” she said in a barely audible voice, not even stepping inside the room and opting instead to simply hover at the doorway.

"I should hurry up..." Senshi said quietly to himself as he made his way towards the Academy. He walked by himself, looking around the campus. This Academy was pretty interesting, he was really happy that his current guardian, Mr. Toshiro got him enrolled here. Wonder if you'd be proud of me mom... he thought, sighing as he lowered his head. I-I can't think like that now...I have to get to that club I joined!

As Senshi picked up the pace, he got into the Academy building, where he looked at the bulletin board. "YAJDS...YAJDS...oh there it is!" he said as he finally found what he was looking for. "Room 1-3." he nodded as he walked down the halls, searching for the room. It was a detective club he joined, though Senshi had no expertise in the field of criminology...but since he was a Fenrir, so perhaps his nose could be useful. Though, he really didn't like being in his Fenrir form...only cause he feared for those around him.

Rounding the corner, Senshi saw Room 1-3 and then saw two members of it(from what he could tell) and then a third person who seemed to just arrive. "Welcome YAJDS Members!", he heard them say as he got closer. "U-Umm...Ossu*...I'm Senshi Suta..." Senshi said, seeming a bit nervous. "I signed up...m-my name should be on the sign up sheet."

"So this is the school?" Narumi whispered to herself standing in front of Yokai Academy. A slow, wide smile came to her face, as well as a small blush to to her overly happy expression. "This place is so cool!" She laughed throwing her arms in the air. With another giggle she ran towards the Academy's doors, arms spread out to her side mimicking an airplane as she ran through the halls. Some of the older kids yelled when she almost ran into them as she zoomed down the halls her silver hair trailing behind her, and her red eyes shining in glee. This young girl was Narumi Kayosak, freshman to the Yokai Academy. She didn't know any one before coming here, and she was hoping she would meet some new and nice people here. Around her neck dangled a small white orb which shined brightly when hit at the right light.

Narumi continued to run down the halls running right past the bulletin board which at the moment had another young boy in front of it. Suddenly stopping mid-run she skipped backwards until she was behind the boy. Her hands clasped together behind her back and looking over the boy's shoulder. He was saying something about the YAJDS. After he found whatever he was looking for he left not even realizing she was there. She giggled watching him leave, "I guess I was in a mighty big hurry." Narumi decided to take up his previous position and look at the bulletin board. Her wide, red eyes searched over the many papers nailed there. She then came across the same flyer that the earlier boy saw. "YAJDS....Room 1-3...Ok!" Narumi smiled, "I bet there will be nice people in there!"

It took some time, and asking people for directions but she eventually found room 1-3. There were voices coming from the room, and there was some girl just standing by the door. Narumi took up a spot behind the girl, standing on her toes to look in the room. "I wonder whats going on over here." Inside she could see writing on the board. It said 'Welcome YAJDS Members!'. Narumi tilted her head, her eyes shining with confusion, "I wonder what that stands for."

With a light crunch, Naoi's foot stepped from his dorm. Gripping the plump scarlet apple he had biten in one hand, he began to straighten his uniform with the other. His step turned to a sprint, rounding the halls at dizzying speeds. Now make contact with the earily crowds and First-years, he blasted off an array of apoligies from "Sorry" to "Is your mother doing well" to "What's the cafeteria serving?". The last response to his shoving wasn't really an apology but make the situation efficent, Naoi thought is he asked now then no need to ask later. These remarks were subsequently followed with others from the morning mob with, in order, "Watch it!", "We reproduce asexually.", and "Have you seen my black cat about?". He believed the last person ignored his kind gesture to an unkind action... however in retrospect, it may have had more meaning and made him VERY worried. He had never had cat before.

Suddenly, he stopped. Outside his dorm, he froze. The swirling wind and muffled chatter of far-away people, they dissappeared. Adreniline raced, heart pumped, his fist clenched to grab space itself. Fear shown deep into his crimson eyes, knees shaking, he reached slowly, focused into his right pocket. The back of his hand brushing gently but alert to the outside of his jean pocket. It stopped. Naoi pupils dialated pupils grew, his gaze itself widening. "Nooooo!!!," he screamed to the heavens, falling to his knees. He slammed his fist to the dirt in rage, "This can't be! It mustn't!",

At this point Naoi had attacted an audience. He had in open public acted like he was on a poorly written T.V. drama from the human world. The audience's reactions were mixed. After an ackward moment of silence and Naoi still on his knees facing the ground, a young girl stepped forward and made what would possibly become the worst mistake of her life as she asked, "What happened?". Naoi gave her a sad look, and proceeded back into the dorm. Sitting approximatly 8 centimeters from the side of one standard issue dorm desk, laid a folded piece of paper the contents of which contained the details of the club he was suppose to join. Naoi hated work, the extra effort required for him to proceed to the outside door, exert a force to open the door, proceed down a total of 70 meters of halls, 1 staircase, exert a new force on the room door, enter to the desk, pick up the piece of paper, then re-do those previous steps in oppisite order was estimated to need the calorie count of a piece of hard candy. Naoi also hated hard candy.

One horrid tasting hardened piece of sugar later, he reached back into his pocket and unfolded the sheet of paper. He skimmed the contents. "Detective Club? Odd, I could of sworn my irratic self choose something with umph." His ear twitched, "Umph? Umph isn't a word! Is it an onomatopoeia? No, who says Umph? Maybe it's the noise you make when someone bumps you? No that's more of a huh with an exagerated pronouciation." Naoi digressed, "Room 1-3. The first floor doesn't sound like a place where Umph happens but I suppose somewhere along the line I thought it was a good idea." Naoi got lost.

Naoko greeted each of the new additions to the YAJDS with glee; "Hello, welcome to the YAJDS,", "Ossu, Suta-san, welcome to the YAJDS," and for the third member, a girl with odd white-grey hair and red eyes, she just greeted her with a simple wave. After she saw that this would be the majority of members arriving (she really didn't know how many people would actually be coming, being a new addition to the club, but she knew well enough about it to assume that this would probably be it) , she stood up and gave a nice smile to the audience.

"I welcome you to the YAJDS," She began, straightening your tie. "Seeing as we have no real senior members, and our mentor is apparently out for the evening, I will be your host for today!" She put a small bit of Charm into her speech- just enough so that it would get the attention of the members as a whole. "Some of you may be wondering what the acronym is for, if you didn't bother to read or even fill out the sign up sheets. YAJDS stands for Yōkai Academy Junior Detective Services," She took a minute to catch her breath. "Damn, that's a mouthful. But yes, we are a detective club. We won't, or at least I hope we won't, seem to be dealing with dead bodies and killings around the campus." Another smile. "Of course we will be occasionally getting into dangerous situations, though, so you'd best be prepared for the worst! Or, rather, the best!"

Naoko smiled at the audience yet again. It seemed like she could and should be able to assume dominance over the club as a whole.

"Now, with formalities and such out of the way, any questions?"

Okay then! Right, Kiyoshi had finished his sentance and right one cue had came a student, doned with purple hair and a fairly curious face, and a voice so quiet a human wouldn't have heard her. Luckily Kiyoshi's ears, huh? Well, he was to open his mouth before Naoko stole his thunder, beating him to the punch as she greeted and welcomed the student to the club. 'So then, I wonder who else'll show up?' the boy thought as he continued to look over and around Room 1-3, patiently waiting to say hello to the next new face that'd show themselves. And the next face was a blonde haired blue eyed boy who popped into the door with a seemingly sheepish attitude, to which Kiyoshi turned and was about to open his mouth, but he got sidelined by Naoko again! 'What the- Right, this means war!' Kiyoshi frowned before awaiting Numero Tres to appear through the door. So far they had a two boys and two girls, and he decided to have a wager with himself that next was another girl.

And he was right! A silvery white haired girl with red eyes (Sound familiar?) showed up and came into the room with perhaps an equally, if not more curious face than that of the boy who donned himself as Senshi Suta, who by the way had a lovely alliteration in his name, but anyways as Kiyoshi was to make his move, Naoko beat him to the punch again and waved to the girl...'YES! I CAN SAY HI THIS TIME!' Kiyoshi thought as he darted over to Narumi before Naoko managed to get there and said "Hey there, welcome to the YAJDS Club.". Kiyoshi was surprised he managed to speak in a controlled tone, as he felt he was going to erupt on the girl and probably upset her. Lucky! Anyways, eventually Naoko began to start the meeting in her friendly and oddly captivating voice, due to her Charm, She began to talk about dead bodies and stuff, and Kiyoshi paniced a little as he darted over to Naoko fretting as he whispered. "You sure you've got this under control?"

Realizing he was now in the line of sight, Kiyoshi waved and said "Hi there! So, yeah, as Naoko explained, this is a detective club, but I don't think we'll be going into detail with post mortems and stuff! If you're a bit iffy on that then by all means you won't have to get involved...urgh." letting out a sigh he decided to brush it off. "Well, I suppose you're wondering who we are, right? Well we can do a rollcall! My name's Kiyoshi Yamada, and this here..." his hand in Naoko's direction. "...is Naoko Morgan! I'm honoured to meet you all, so how about we go around with names and such?" 'If only I had collected the registration list I'd be able to know this!' Once again Kiyoshi warded away the nervous mentality and smiled, looking around with a pencil in hand as he fiddled with it for a while, but then he said "Well, Suta-san said his name too, so why don't you introduce yourself to everyone." as he flicked his long hair a little before scratching his chin again.

Jin was just near room 1-3, as he heard Naoka's voice call out to the other members of the YAJDS. Jin would stop his advanced towards the room for a moment, and would pat him self down. It wasn't his intention to join a club, in fact he would have preferred to be alone in solitude, but his mother wanted him to find a club, and make some friends. Jin bit his lower lip and exhaled through his nose. Rubbing his chin, he stood up straight, at an impressive six-feet, he could easily tower over many students. He continued listening to Naoka's brief speech from outside of the class room. He was to nervous to try to enter while someone was talking, as he feels he would draw him self attention, which is what he tries to avoid. It's not so much that Jin is a loner, it's more over because he's scared of him self. Which in turn, causes him to distance himself from others, to keep them save from him self; so he thinks.

"Alright..." Jin though to him self. After hearing Naoka ask the others, if they had any questions, Jin figured it was a good chance to slip in, since no one was talking at that exact moment and would slip on in. Entering the room, he tried not to glance at any of the other students at the academy and hastily but carefully, found a chair at the far most corner of the room. For the moment, no one seemed to have noticed him, so tugged on the collar of his academy uniform and would look towards the wall, whilst keeping his ears open in preparation for the inevitable.

Senshi sat down near a small table as Naoko and Kiyoshi began their club meeting. T-They seem very nice. he thought, as he rummaged through his bag and pulled out a small sketchbook and a pencil. I hope they don't mind that I sketch some a bit... Senshi looked at Kiyoshi and then started sketching a chibi version of Kiysohi. He got most of the details that he saw on Kiyoshi, even down to the way his facial expression looked like right now. There we go. Maybe I should show it to Kiyoshi-san it after the meeting is over. I-I just hope he doesn't think it's a weird drawing... he thought as he finished up the Kiyoshi Chibi sketch.

Linu glanced briefly up at the girl who greeted her as she introduced herself, mumbling something intelligible in response. Before she could make another move however someone spoke behind her and she jumped in surprise, retreating a few rapid steps into the room away from the newcomer who was then joined by another. Linu felt her hopes of a nice quiet room of few people slipping by the moment. She quickly opted to stand against a wall out of the way of the rest as it looked like the arrivals where finally slowing down and giving her a chance to catch her breath.

The boy at the front of the room soon spoke up; suggesting that they introduce themselves to one another, even if the boy arriving after Linu had already stated his name as part of his greeting. Linu fidgeted with her own hands for a few minutes, her eyes darting around the room at the other occupants, the most recent one of whom was sitting in the far corner and looked to be probably the oldest one here. Eventually Linu took a deep breath and spoke up, her volume slightly louder than before but slightly higher pitched.

“Er…M-my name’s…Linu Yami,” she said after a moment’s hesitation, not making eye contact with anyone.

Narumi giggled when Luni scurried away from her once realizing she was behind her. It was very amusing to Narumi. Looking around at all the other people she couldn't help but wonder what type of monsters they were. When Naoko waved at her, Narumi returned it with one of her own, before being rushed at by Kiyoshi who wanted to be the first to officially welcome her to the club. After the shock wore off, Narumi tilted her head in confusion. "I still don't understa-" She was cut off - not intentionally though - by Naoko who began explaining what the club was and what they did. Narumi couldn't help but give Naoko her undivided attention. At hearing all of the things that Naoko said they would be doing, Narumi nodded completely hanging on every word she was saying. "This club sounds so cool. Well...Aside from the dead bodies. They smell really badly." She mumbled to herself.

Kiyoshi was the next one to speak, not as captivating as Naoko, but she still listened. He was the one who welcomed her directly after all. He suggested that they all introduce themselves, and he started with himself and Naoko. Apparently the boy now drawing something was named Suta. Linu introduced herself next, leaving her and some other boy. Narumi raised her hand, "Oh! Oh! Oh! Let me go next!!" She exclaimed smiling, "Ok, I don't even know why I'm here because I was actually just following that boy over there-" She pointed to Suta, "-But this club sounds like a lot of fun already! My name is Narumi Kayoska, and it's a pleasure to meet you all." She ended it with an over exaggerated bow.

Seizasei was just skipping along, swinging her arms back and forth as she hummed an upbeat tune. Saying hi to everyone she passed, which usually ended up with them giving her odd looks, she continued skipping around randomly, trying to explore much of the school grounds as possible. Eventually, she grew bored of skipping around and over heard someone talking about which club they wanted to join. "Hmmm? A club? Oooooh! That'd be a great way to meet new people and make friends!" Walking over to the group of people, she asked them where the nearest club was. After giving her the "is she crazy?" look, they said the closest club was the Detective Squad. "Oooooooh! A Detective Squad! sounds exciting~ Thank you~" With that, she bagan to skip off. After a few skips, though, she came to a complete stop, skipped backwards and did an about-face, facing the group again. It was as if someone just hit the rewind button for a moment there. Anywho! With smile, Seizasie asked, "Can someone point out which way it is?" As if they couldn't wait to be rid of this strange girl, the entire group pointed to a building that wasn't too far off. "Thank you again~"

After a few minutes, Seizasei finally made it to the building anf stepped in. Looking around, wondering where the group was, she heard voices and lights coming from a room not too far down the hall. "Yay~!" She lightly jogged down the hall and turned sharply into the room and stopped just inside. "Hi! Is this the Detective Squad group thingy? I'm Seizasei Senja, but you can call me Sese! Is anyone hungry? I have cupcakes!" Reaching behind her, she pulled out a silver tray full of both vanilla and chocolate cupcakes seemingly out of no where. As she stood there, she smiled at everyone with a smile that almost looked kitty-like. "Help yourselves to them! I have plenty more where these came from!"

"Damn, I'm hungry..." Kyo whispered to himself as he wandered the halls afterschool. A usual hobby of his since nothing really gave him any motivation to get to his dorm early. The usually very food-wise satisfied Youko had gone without eating due to his usual prey (people he steals food from) beginning to guard their plates after about a week of going without lunch. He usually ate about four or five plates of food before being saisfied, so only eating one plate had not left him nearly satisfied.

He caught the faint scent of cupcakes and let out a small surprised yelp. He followed the trail of the cupcakes which led him to an open room from which he heard the phrase "Help yourselves to them! I have plenty more where these came from!" He looked inside the room and saw a few people in the room and the words "Welcome YAJDS Members!" written in bubble text in the board at the back of the room. He had no idea what the letters stood for, but he could not resist the temptation of the cupcakes. Not one to change his methods of acquiring food from others, he dashed across and swiped a pair of chocolate cupcakes and sat down in one of the empty seats before being noticed. He assumed this was a club room, mostly due to the writing on the board, and considering he had never been very involved in clubs, he figured this might at least help him abstain from the boredom to which he was so prone. "I'll join," he said before biting into his cupcake.

Senshi flipped to another page in his sketch pad, about to draw Naoko. Before he could start, he heard this: "Hi! Is this the Detective Squad group thingy? I'm Seizasei Senja, but you can call me Sese! Is anyone hungry? I have cupcakes! Help yourselves to them! I have plenty more where these came from!" He turned around and saw a young lady, with a tray of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes on them. He slowly got up, after placing his sketch pad and pencil down, heading towards Seizansei. Senshi shot out a small smile as he took a vanilla cupcake. "A-Arigato Gozaimasu*...Sese-chan. I'm Senshi Suta..." he said as he took a bite out of the cupcake, before sitting back down. These are delicious... The hall stood still but off the distance, the rythemic tapping was barely audible. Higher pitched, it grew louder. Heels, Naoi thought, his hand over his mouth to muffle his breath. Moments passed, the steps growing louder and louder, until, finally they grew softer. A sigh escaped his lips, much to his frieght. The tapping stopped. Naoi managed to barely make vision through the slits, there was the object of his fears. A cold sweat dripped off his forehead. The tapping resumed. After a second, the teacher entered a neighboring room. In a burst, he erupted from the hall closet barrel rolling to the far wall, covertly of coarse. Naoi looked at the school map on the wall.

Some would argue that Naoi is a bit carefree and, disputably, ditsy. This is true to most degrees, however this would not necissarily one of the cases where those traits apply so much as he blantent disregard for all things regarding navigation. Some how he had missed the main building, yes the one the towering massive one in the center of campus. An observer or myself would see this as nigh inpossible to a sane, reasonable soul. However, he may just not be one of those... or extreme coincidence. In more revelent news but just as dismal, Naoi was almost as bad with maps as normal navigation. So, to save on explaination and further embarressment, Naoi is now in the correct building.

Naoi's glare pierces the rustic heart of the sign, paralyzed with fear. It's content's of the embedded font of a disfigured "I" and backwards "E" with a hyphen in the midst, center of his death stare. e looked down at his paper. Back up, then down, followed by up, continued down, jolting upwards, only to drift back down, finally glancing up, to lastly end back down on his paper. "This appears to be the locale of one, YAJDS, This a premeire club for the young investigative soul? How... expected." Naoi's intution kicked in, using his procedure for rational thought he concluded to the fact that because it was Day 1, introductions were to be made today. He was late, as such introductions are already going on. "...So?" he began pacing, "Should I wait for the basics to be done? No, that would be odd, waltzing in as first proceedings were in order. Now then!," he stopped himself, "NO! It would be rude, too many people and my enterance would be less than grand. THAT DOES IT!". Naoi swiftly sat feet together and hands on his knees, "I will meditate on this!" Naoi didn't meditate.

It wasn't hard not to know what to do at that time; Kiyoshi had grabbed hold of a piece of paper and, with his trusty pencil in hand, he began to take names. Of course the first names he wrote down was Naoko Morgan and his own, and then he took down Senshi Suta. 'So, let's see here, I'm buying lunch for Morgan-san, Suta-san, and myself so far. I wonder who else is in here, and what are they like?' Kiyoshi commented mentally as he looked around the classroom with a smile, and he overheard Linu's voice, just, and made out the name of her murmur as Linu Yami. "Lie...noo...Ya...mi...there we go! It's a pleasure to make your acquantance Yami-san! I hope you have fun here!" Kiyoshi said in a friendly manner as he walked over and leaned on the wall next to her seat, noting she was kind of shy so he decided to put out the extra effort with her. "Thank's for starting us off, it's a very kind gesture of your's!"

Next up was the red eyed girl who's enthusiasm lit up the awkward mood in the air, and as she called out her name eagerly she also explained she was essentially following Senshi into the club. "So your name is Narumi Kayoska? Na...roomy...Ka...yo...ska...and that's your name taken! I hope you also enjoy it here as much as I know I will, and don't worry, I'll bet you 1000¥ we won't have to deal with a corpse!" as he offered out his hand on the wager. 'Great, that's another bit out of pocket; nevermind Kiyoshi, no point in not having fun, right?' he assured himself mentally before, whether Narumi accepted and shook his hand or not, onto the next person who spoke up...well, thing was he managed to conceal himself in the back, but he didn't escape Kiyoshi's sight...

...but before Kiyoshi had got to him, another quite upbeat girl made her entrance as she offered them cupcakes. Kiyoshi smiled at the sight and took one with lemon icing, bowing his head to her as he said "I'm very grateful Sese-san, thank you very much for this delicious treat." with a smile, a little crumb on his lip but not for long as he licked it into his mouth, an almost inaudible volt spark firing inside his lips as he turned, the ponytail somewhat whiping the air as he made his way to an empty seat before a random student showed up and joined up as he took a cupcake in the instant. Now, Kiyoshi didn't know whether he joined because of interest, or in contrast for the cupcakes, but he smiled to the boy and said "Then welcome to the club!".

At that instant Naoi made his...peculier entrance, to which Kiyoshi couldn't fo anything other than watch him preform his act. 'Wow, this guy is...wow. I bet he probably would do well in a Drama Club or something...what a second, he's joining up? That's pretty cool!' Kiyoshi mentally noted again as he walked up to the student who was "meditating" and said "You take your time, make your entrance dandy!" before walking over to Kyo, unknowing his name of course, as he asked "May I ask your name?" with a friendly smile.

Azure hadn't liked it when he heard it. "Zury, when are you going to make some friends at school? You never talk about anyone whenever you come visit." The kind woman who'd taken him into her care when he was younger had given him one awful frown at his response. "That's because I don't really have any." It wasn't exactly that he didn't try... okay, it was because he didn't try. He'd been so focused on studies and... other things... that he hadn't really found the time or need for any real friends. Unfortunately, that woman wasn't having any of that. "If you don't join a club this next semester, I'll pull your finances so you won't be able to eat while you're there." NO FOOD?! Even the threat of it was enough to make him obey. Thankfully, he'd been able to find a club that he'd be able to contribute a bit in: a detective club.

Throughout his first semester at the academy, Azure'd been able to set up strings of connections to gather information about almost anything he'd need to know... or for anyone to need to know at the school. Normally he'd keep such information to himself, but he figured if he had all this information, he'd might as well find a good way to consistently use it, and this club offered just that kind of opportunity.

Azure pulled out a small notepad as he walked towards this new club. He always kept the notepad in his pocket to keep the information he deemed most important. Unfortunately, he'd fallen a bit behind on his gathering and hadn't yet done any in depth research into the members of the club, partly because he didn't know everyone that had joined. Hopefully he'd be able to wrap that up by the end of this meeting, all he had so far was the names of the first two people to sign up, supposedly the organizers of the group.

"Kiyoshi Yamada" He said to himself. It was certainly an entertaining conversation when he first learned a bit about the boy. Word was that he was a very calm and gentle person, kind and well meaning. So it was only natural that his first question to the guy was "So, what's wrong with him?" Azure'd learned early that everyone had at least one flaw, and he figured that if all he was hearing was about how good the guy was, something had to balance it out in some regard. "Well I've heard from some people around where he'd lived that he can get angry once in a while, something of a bipolar issue maybe? I dunno, didn't seem regular enough." It wasn't much to know, but the way the man'd described it seemed rather odd so he'd asked him to see what else he could learn about these incidents.

The second name he'd gathered was, in his mind, the most intriguing. Not that the girl's backstory was interesting, but that he'd been completely unable to scavenge anything on her. "Naoko Morgan." Well, that being said he didn't find nothing on her, just that he didn't find anything... the parallel of the words as they bounced around in his head caught him thinking for a second, before pulling his mind back to focus. The point was that he'd been able to find nothing on her prior to her arrival at the school, which didn't completely sit well with him. That kind of lack of information usually meant someone was hiding something.

Azure chuckled to himself. I might be just fit for this club after all, he thought as he tripped over someone who'd been sitting in a meditative stance on the floor. "Ow, what the hell...?"

Only one eye opened to identify just what had struck his leg, the body of young boy. Noai thought for only a moment before speaking in a very monotone voice, "Why? No, that isn't right. I should be saying thank you, or perhaps you should. For it is my fault that your fault caused an overll fault resulting in your cheek pressing against the confines of the floor. No, that isn't right either." Springing from his mediated posture, he preformed a quick strech placing his arms across his chest only to move then down, offering his hand to his victim. His voice returned to it's norm, "I can't help but find yourself in need of assistance. While the events leading up to your accident seem to be the result of my mistake in where to be in thought, I offer my aid, stranger." Naoi withdrew his aid, turned about and placing his hand on his chin, remained still only mumbling incoherent words and phrases. He flipped back and bent over to look at Azure even;y, "New deal, I will help you up if you become my employee. It struck me that I've always wanted an employee. Join my ranks for a NEW WORLD ORDER! Actually, just errands. No, just owe me one. ...a thank you, maybe. Give me something. I like to feel like I won something. " Naoi offered his hand... and a extreme bizarre request to accompany.

Kyo savored his cupcake, it on top of being the only thing he had to eat, was delicious. Someone approached him, small with blong black hair and asked him his name.
"Name's Kyo Kurama. I came for the cupcakes, but I'm kinda interested to get involved. What kind of club is this?" Not one to talk much, this was about the longest he had talked for a while. He looked at the boy who asked him his name. Hedidn't seem very strong. Very few people did, but this one in particular looked weak. The again, so did he himself, and even then he was probably one of the strongest monsters in school. Note to self: Keep my eye on this one, he might be hiding his strength.

Azure rubbed his head as he rolled himself over and sat up so he was facing the boy. By looks alone his information wasn't cutting it, and it was only after the boy started talking that he realized who this was. But the first movement the boy made after Azure tripped over him was unexpected, which for some reason made him smile. "Thank you." Is what he'd meant to say if the hand reaching out to lift him up was there long enough to actually fulfill its purpose.

Suddenly the boy was talking again, arms folded away from Azure, speaking of how he should serve him, something about new world order, bla bla bla. The first tip in Azure's file of the guy was don't hang on the guy's every word, usually only the last ones matter. Unfortunately, the last words were "Give me something. I like to feel like I won something."

Azure frowned. "Naoi Pavlichenko." He stood up with his own willpower. "Average height, red hair, sixteen years of age. Unpredictable, prone to babbling, and possessing a strange knack for incoherence. What I've been told is true, when it comes to unpredictability, you certainly raise the bar." Azure's frown has slowly replaced itself with a smile as he talked. "And incoherent at times, a lot more interestingly than I'd originally thought. A little bit taller too." Azure sighed. "Does that count enough as a prize?" Azure proceeded to look to his right, and realizing he was outside the detective's club room raised a finger to whatever Naoi would respond with, "Excuse me." And he walked inside.

Narumi smiled at Kiyoshi, taking the hand that he offered out to shake. "Thank you! You know I really like you!" Narumi grinned, "I think we'll be great friends, Yamada-san. If you need anything at all, all you have to do is ask!" It was then some other girl entered the club room offering cupcakes. "Cupcakes?...Oh yeah! I'll take one." She said reaching out to grab one of the delicious treats then choosing to stand off to the side and watch everything play out. As she happily ate her cupcake, 3 more people were made known to the club. One was some strange guy who came in so fast Narumi almost didn't catch him. He sat himself in a seat also munching on one of Sese's muffins. The second was also a boy, who was actually outside of the club room and was meditating. He was the one who caused the third boy to trip, since he didn't see him sitting there.

"Waah~." Narumi sighed softly as she remained in her spot still happily eating her muffin, "There sure is a lot of stuff happening. I didn't think I was going to meet so many people so soon." She then turned her head to watch the interaction between Naoi and Azure. Hearing Naoi's last name her eyes widened, "Woah, what a cool last name. Pavichico...No wait that's not right. Povorich-no that's not how you say it. Pistachio!!" She exclaimed as if she had it right, only to shake her head moments later. "Wait...Isn't that a type of nut?"

Jin sighed under his breath as the room quickly became bustling, even with the small amount of members that was there. Turning away from the wall, he glanced over at Narumi when he heard that she had brought Cupcakes to share with everyone. The thought of it made his stomach growl, as he had skipped breakfast while preparing his lunch for the day. Ironically. He was tempted to go over and ask for one, but due to his shy nature he wouldn't bring him self to get up and go over. He would listen intently to the other members who were introducing them selves, and would try his best to memorize who was who, although he would have trouble for sure. Jin shook his head and turned his head back to the wall. Knowing it would only be a matter of time before he him self would have to go through introductions with the others.

Of course, Jin wishes he didn't have to deal with anybody. He believes that being alone is in everyone's best interest, and that he's likely just going to be a burden. "Honestly...why have me join a club. You know i don't get along with others real well Mother." He though to him self, trying to distance his thoughts away from the current situation. For some reason, he could picture his mother lecturing him in his head. Telling him he needs to be more out-going and try to make friends. She believes he'd be better off in the company of others, even at the risk of his beast form taking over, and endangering those he cared about. That is the main reason he wishes not to deal with others. . . .Despite it all, Jin sighed and swallowed. He'd stand up slowly, pushing his chair in beneath the desk he had sat out. Preparing to walk over to the others, but he lost his confidence and would sit down ontop of the desk lightly.

Linu didn’t glance up as the other occupants of the room quickly introduced themselves one after the other, preferring to divert her attention to the toes of her own shoes. She gave a start when she realized that the boy apparently leading the club, Kiyoshi was standing right next to her. She gave a slow murmur with something to the effect of ‘don’t mention it’ in response but avoided making eye contact with him.

Her attention then shifted as another person entered, rather loudly and enthusiastically at that and producing a tray of cupcakes out of seemingly nowhere. Linu’s nerves suddenly seemed all but forgotten in her surprise as she stared at the tray of food as each member took a cake one by one, her pose unmoving and her eyes unblinking. Then her eyes flicked up suddenly to the girl bearing the tray and a look of curiosity came over her face.
“What are they?” She asked, quite politely and calmly considering she’d been a quivering back of nerves just a few minutes ago “Where’d they come from? What flavour are they? Do they go well with snakes?”

Oh dear, this seems to be getting out of hand! Thought Naoko, taking yet another bite of the cupcake. Naoko, though, was rather enjoying all of this commotion, but she felt that things needed to be wrapped up if she wanted to maintain some sort of order. Without hesitation she stood up and raised her hand to the crowd.

"Alright, alright. Settle down everyone. Thank you for handling the introductions, Yamada-san." She flashed him a smile. "Of course, as I explained earlier, this is the YAJDS- The Yokai Academy Junior Detective Service, for those few that missed the introduction. As a group we aim to solve any of the mysteries that happen on campus, and, with the headmaster's permission, some off campus as well!" She began walking around the room, getting a good look at each and every member. "We seem to be pretty diverse, though some of us," She said, stopping at Naoi, who seemed to be the less-than-insane member of the group to her, "Seem a bit crazy. But crazy is good! The best of people are the ones who think outside of the box." She took off to the center of the room, continuing her little speech there.

"That's the very essence of our club!" She exclaimed. "Thinking outside of the box- outside of the normal mindset. Doing things no one would ever think of doing, attempting things that no one has tried before. Is there a method to our madness? Of course not! Therefore, I have our first operation already thought out." She went to the chalkboard, finishing off her cupcake on the way. Carefully she erased the bubble letters and began to put down the name of another 'club'- and it was none other than the infamous Public Safety Commission.

"This," She began, "Is the name of that one club that is rumored to be quite corrupt. Now, I've done some researching on my own. Apparently this club is threatening other clubs into submission- that is, unless they pay them. Not only is this action considered to be bullying, it's against school rules." She took a deep breath. "Now, another thing going on is that some of our fellow schoolmates have just been vanishing into thin air. Have any of you heard anything about that?" She looked towards Kiyoshi. "Do you think it could have anything to do with the Public Safety Commission?"

She relaxed, but only a little. She had done her research on happenings around the campus from day one. Ignorant wasn't something she was about to be called. If she wanted to be the club's leader, she had to know her facts.

Senshi finished his cupcake and then heard Naoko's small speech. With her moving around, he thought this was the perfect opportunity to make a drawing of Naoko. Senshi took his pencil and started to sketch a chibi Naoko, but stopped right after she started talking about the Public Safety Commission. Paying them off...and people vanishing into thin air?? he thought as he put his sketch pad down. "N-Naoko-chan...I have heard about that. I've walked past the spots where they last were...a-and when I sniffed the area...t-their sent was gone." Senshi noticed he had weird glares and glances shot towards him. "Oh...I forgot to mention...I-I'm a Fenrir, so got a good nose."
