❤ Lovely Warrior ❤
WHats wrong with Mario and Zelda? Id rather play as familiar characters from the great video game history than new ones each game. Sonic is SEGA not Nintendo so complaining at Nintendo is like complaining at Capcom that KOF is lame. Although I think Nin bought Sega but they have no control on what games they make. The games are different but familiar faces (Ex: Mario, Peach, Wario, ect.) Draw you in to play the games. I also find it funny how Square Enix dose a better job in textured the Mario cast than Nintendo. look at Sports Mix I love the textures in that game they look more real than other Nintendo games where it looks like they made everything in pain. I like that they remake old games it lets kids of this generation see what game we played in ours. Even though I'm not that big of a fan of some of the newer games coming out I like that Mario keeps coming back to Rescue Peach. Kinda wishing I could see Pauline in a main console game and not some weird Mario spinoff though.
Lonk
Actually, Sega is still 3rd party. It still infuriates me that, despite the Wii U coming out this year, that Episode II isn't going to be on Wii Ware.

Umbra
While this is so, and while Pokemon is Nintendo exclusive, if you say "Nintendo", Zelda and Mario pop to mind, not Pokemon. .Rai
Eww, apparently, using a series for too long is bad. In that case, Call of Duty should burn in a bin and Harry Potter should be sent to hell. Oh, and the Final Fantasy series should just aiugwdfhsbaukhsbfewiahobnfdleiwaniljfdnslsdf. Nintendo are definitely the one company who know their audiences. Apart from a few recent awkward economic decisions, they are usually top quality. Zelda has always been the iconic game, and has been reinvented time and time again without being stale. It's, in my opinion, the one game that knows how to keep going strong. Mario is simply the mascot series. The games are /sometimes/ gimmicky and strange, but have their charm nevertheless. Pokémon is probably the most successful 2nd party game on Nintendo. Although, when I think of Nintendo, I have always thought Metroid and Zelda.
Lonk
I think of Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and Metroid. Nintendo definitely knows how to make games that aren't whiny bullcrap, both aesthetically and gameplay-wise (I'm talking about you, the majority of PS360 games). Ice.
Nintendo knows their s*** when it comes to their audiences and pure fun. Business decisions? Not so much. Albeit, I have been dying for a new IP, I know Shiggy's working on one so I can be patient. Also Pikmin 3.
Apparently STH 4 is much better than several of the recent games, so try out Episode 1 first.
To be fair, Episode 1 sucked. However, after Generations and the fact that the Sonic Team is making E2, I'm interested.
Makο
Why do I hear no love for the video game character that sucks more than anyone else?
Reminds me of the first Kirby game I actually owned, Air Ride. That game is FUN in Multiplayer. On the topic of Nintendo in general, they were a big part of my younger life (younger than I am now ), and I still consider the Gamecube to be my favorite system OF ALL TIME. I just wish my Wii wasn't so banged up, as it barely runs games anymore, otherwise I'd get something like Skyward Sword. Oh, gosh, the Gamecube games I remember playing. Some weren't necessarily good games (very few), but were fun none the less. Metal Arms: Glitch in the System, The Hobbit, Melee, Double Dash, CUSTOM ROBO, Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Super Monkey Ball 2, Mario Party 6 and 7, Star Fox: Assault, Super Mario Sunshine, Kirby's Air Ride, Star Wars Rebel Strike, Battalion Wars (<3), Medal of Honor (Frontline, Rising Sun, and European Assault), Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Star Wars The Clone Wars... I could go on. Now, the Wii also holds good memories as well, mostly for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. My older cousin couldn't get past the "Falling while fighting Ridley" part, so I had to help her with that once. It was also a GREAT Party System, and having 8 people playing Wario Wares is a DANG good time! Gameboy? Pokémon Ruby and Advanced Wars 2. Enough said. I also don't own a Ps3 or Xbox so I cant play it anyway. WTFauKorean
Nintendo losing its edge back then they had real really nailed the gamers miles stones they made everything a real you were there experience the challenging games yet still doable games that they made back in the day made you feel satisfied after beating it unlike the Nintendo games now where you can just grind to become immensely powerful and win everything thing just became more flashy but with less fulfillment of an accomplished emotion. super smash bros brawl for example was a load of crap compared to melee. everything was flash no skill just lolly gagging castlevania became another final fasntasy s*** like dogz and cooking mama came out to target a bored as f*** target audience with striking success (this is partially the gamers/consumers fault) 3DS? that s*** is gonna make eyes downgrade like crazy thats just seizure inducers man nintendo I love you for your beginnings but you've changed a little to much and not much to my liking.
