I cannot take you seriously from this point onwards.

Funny, I was about to say the same thing

OT:
Wonderful, wonderful company that my parents raised me on.

And as BK/Whooves said, FE3DS makes me love them long time

Rofl... why not?

Personally, because Zelda is like wine or cheese- Better with age. Each game is better than the last, with a few exceptions.

Mario's not as big a concern.

And they also have made a lot of Fire Emblem, and it's one of the classics, sooo

lol it kinda did come out wrong... but I meant they should stop remaking zelda, mario and sonic. These things are ancient lol

They're not remaking. They're making NEW GAMES. there's a difference, and they add to an overall story =/

Then it wouldn't be the same series ._.

And the games do switch up a little.

For Zelda:
Vaati
Majora
The Nightmares
Wind Fish (No-antag)
Oshus (Non-antag)
Malladus
Aghanim(sp?)

And more

So your argument is that they keep remaking, even though Mario is their mascot and Zelda is arguably their second iconic franchise? Smooth. They have Mario and Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus is getting its long-awaited revival, and Miyamoto has promised Pikimin 3. What else do you want?

My first ever gaming system was a Nintendo 64. As such, I regret never getting a GameCube, as I thought a PS2 was enough to satisfy. I seriously missed out.

I love Nintendo. Sure, I play more Sony franchises, but Nintendo its own company has earned my undying loyalty and respect, even though I'm not much of a Mario fan. Viva la Zelda!

Should I kill Toot for that offensive and ignorant comment about Nintendo, or should I discuss how Nintendo is actually getting better with a much more broader focus on gaming itself?

I guess I can do a bit of both.

I think that Nintendo is very justified in remaking games for a new generation, so that the new generation can enjoy the games we played (besides, I like remade games. It allows me to view what changes are made and just how the game fits in society today).

Nintendo is also very successful with their goals (except for Virtual Boy, which was pretty much canceled in the same year it was released) when they put their minds to it. Let us see what Nintendo did for me:

-They found a niche that is perfect for them and stick to it.
-They make things that I wouldn't find enjoyment in fun (such as Baseball).
-They aren't afraid to experiment, like so many other major video game developers are (I dare you to prove me wrong. I just might give you a rep if I like how you prove me wrong).
-Their games aren't aesthetically whiny bullcrap like what most PS360 games like to focus on.

That said, I am eagerly waiting for Mario Party 9 and Luigi's Mansion 2. I'm still ticked though that Sonic 4 Episode 2 isn't going to be on WiiWare. Personally, however, Gamecube has to be my favorite system. Too many good games were released on the 'cube, such as the Pokemon Colosseum/XD, Super Mario Sunshine, Melee, Luigi's Mansion (Albeit it was short), Mario Party 7, Double Dash, Wario World, ect.

Pokemon is irrefutably their second, actually. It's only behind Mario in overall series sales, is made by a first-party developer, and has worldwide popularity...

While this is so, and while Pokemon is Nintendo exclusive, if you say "Nintendo", Zelda and Mario pop to mind, not Pokemon.

If it wasn't for Super Mario Galaxy, I would've probably never got into Mario. I haven't been interested in Zelda that much, but seeing Skyward Sword has made me want to get into it.

True Nintendo uses the same characters, but they are different games. Not to mention that they're great. There's a difference between Nintendo and Call of Duty, and I think a lot of people see it. Nintendo is amazing at innovating while Call of Duty is pretty much the same with each new addition.

Technically, Game Freak is one of Nintendo's companies, making it 1st party.

I also just love the Smash Bros. Series. SSB1 was inspired by children mixing different toys from different universes together (Like Transformers and G.I. Joe) and putting them in battles against each other (Hence, all 14 characters in the child's toy box). Hal thought it wouldn't catch on, but the series literally became popular overnight. Melee, however, is arguably the best in the series.

There have been the occasional Capcom Zelda games, let's not forget.

But nothing, I repeat nothing, will ever make me hate Intelligent Systems. Paper Mario? Fire Emblem? WHY WUB WOO INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS.

And don't leave out everyone else, there's Kirby, Samus, and who could forget

I think, though, the happiest Nintendo moment for me will be when Waluigi finally shows up in a real game, preferably alongside Wario in order for hilarity to ensue.
