Because if they're Special Summoned or Flip Summoned, they're still Level 3.

I guess that makes sense, but flip summoning requires these to be set, and the chances of them surviving if attacked is pretty low. Special summoning seems to be viable only if you're using attribute-based floaters. Also, if you have the time, could you check out my Gravity/Aether archetypes? They don't even have a single view yet, but I think the cards are pretty interesting and worthwhile if you're interested in realistic cards.
