[spoiler=plot]The year is 2012. Yes, this is the same year that the Mayans predicted the end of the world, but this is just coincidence, probably. An infection has begun to spread throughout the entire globe, a Virus so deadly that it makes people almost forget all about AIDS. The name of the virus is Solanum, not that anybody cares what it is called. The unofficial name for the virus is ‘The Zombie Virus’. Incase you haven’t figured it out yet; it kills the infected and then reanimates them as Zombies. Within a month the Infection has reached a worldwide scale and only a handful remains uninfected.
Weather it is skill, or just plain luck, you are one of the survivors and you have found yourself in a group whose goal is to survive the war. While your main enemies are the Zombies, they are not the only ones you have to worry about. Other survivors, the natural elements, and even the members of your group might very well turn against you.[/spoiler]

[Spoiler=About Zombies]
There are a lot of Zombie movies and books which descried Zombies differently. So in this section I’m goanna tell you the differences between the movie Zombies and the Zombies for this RP. I will only list the parts that most people will automatically know after a few weeks in the Zombie world, or things that you will have to know to avoid GMing. (From what I have seen, the closest movie/tv to this RP is ‘walking dead’. Most, if not all Zombie facts are correct.)
1st. The only way to kill a Zombie is to destroy the brain. NO ACCEPTIONS!!
2nd. Zombies are slow. For most people, normal walking speed will be more than enough to outrun a Zombie.
3rd. In some shows, Zombies fall apart all the time. Not here. If you can’t do it to a human, you probably can’t do it to a Zombie.
4th. the infection is spread through saliva and blood. (The way the virus is spread is probably the only thing 28 days la
ter got right. Lol)
5. Depending on the person, the bite could take anywhere between a few hours to a full day to kill, and another few hours to reanimate the infected.
6. If the Zombie hasn’t spotted a meal, it is easy to distract it. But the only thing that can distract it from a meal is an easier meal.
7. Humans will be the main food of a Zombie, but they will settle for animals.
8. A zombie that is in the middle of a meal is very unlikely to come after you.
9. Zombies don’t bleed out.

Roger Almost always wears leather pants and 2, long sleeved leather coats (different kinds or coats, so it looks natural.). While it does make him look good, the main reason he wears them is to provide some deal of protection against Zombie bites. He also has a medical face mask and a pair of sun glasses to prevent zombie blood from getting in to his eyes and mouth. The mask is usually worn around his neck and both the glasses and mask have string which wraps all the way around his head to avoid them falling off.

[spoiler=[b]Personality:[/b] ]Roger’s personality depends on the situation they are in. When danger is far away he is a fun loving person, and he is the self proclaimed ‘make people laugh’ person. However, as the unofficial leader, he also knows when to stop joking and when to get serious. He holds no mercy for people who seriously wrong him or the members of his group, and wouldn’t hesitate to feed them to zombies, rather than kill them quickly with a knife or gun.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=[b]Bio:[/b] ]Before the war Roger's name was Zach. But he took his fathers name, who was killed saving his life from a hord of zombies early on in the war. He started getting in to zombies as for of a hobby than anything ells. It started off with reading a book 'Zombie survival guide', at the age of 17, and meeting up with other people with the same interests. He cant say the same about everybody ells, but he thaught it was all made up, he only did this because it was interesting. Then came the day when him and his family where attacked by Zombies. Zach/Roger and his twin brother, who was not there at the time of the attack, are the only two members of his family that survived the attack. He used his knowlage to get out of the city and gather a small group of people to travel with.[/spoiler]
[b]Skills:[/b] Roger is one of the few people to have detailed knowledge of zombies from before the war. This has given him the role of the unofficial group leader, as most people listen to what he has to say and more commonly follow his instinct.

Because of what he suffered through, he wishes to do his own thing, believing that he might not be able to save anybody, but would be able to put an end to what is going on. He believes that he can never recover from what he faced. He will at times be overwhelmed with sadness when someone brings up anything tragic, which reminds him of the fateful event that makes him who he is today.[/spoiler]

Since he is now part of a squad with an unofficial leader, who he believes doesn't fit the leader role, he now has no choice but to help them fight in this new war. Before the mass infection, Ryan was quite the optimist, always cheerful. He was simple living life to it's fullest. Yet, now there isn't even a sparkle left of the old Ryan. He is always depressed, the few people that talk to him never get a decent reply and it seems he is simple looking for a way out. He can't be blamed, though.[/spoiler]

Jason had a short, yet difficult life behind him by the time he turned 18. Because of his parents who constantly had to move from one city to a next one, for their career. By the time he reached the age of 11, his parents got divorced and by court order Ryan had to stay with his mother. She then started drinking and couldn't handle the pressure anymore. Eventually Ryan had to take care of his mental-unstable mother and dropped out from school. After a year his father started showing up again and he decided to take care of his ex-wife in order for Ryan to complete his school career.

It's July, finals just ended and Ryan is sitting on a bench with a couple of his friends, near a small park in downtown manhattan. It is on this exact spot that Ryan encountered an infected person for the first time. Though at that time they were not aware of the events that were about to happen. They simple laughed at the 'zombie', mistaking it for a hobo. Shortly after a small plane, most likely private, crashed in the park right next to them. Authorities arrived almost immediately searching for survivors. Ryan was unable to witness what was going on behind the trees because the police let no one come close. During the 'rescue attempt', it was clear that guns had been fired. At first it was but a distant sound, but it became quite obvious pretty quick.

His world became consumed by hatred toward everything. This 'Disease' has infected everyone around Ryan. His friends turned in walking corpses and joined the undead army that was roaming the city. He witnessed the death of both his parents, eaten alive. It took but a couple of minutes before they died of their wounds, simple to wake up again and walk amongst their brethren zombies. Ryan bashed the skull of his father with a chair and had to kill his mother by beating her with his fist. He is fully traumatized by this and is now traveling from shelter to shelter with a couple of people he met not too long ago. He doesn't seek vengeance for his parents, but he simple isn't ready to die yet.[/spoiler]

[b]Skills:[/b] He is well trained in the art of Muay Thai and has been in the boxing ring several times. He also possesses some basic survival skills, but his mainly going on instinct at this point.

[b]Weapon of choice:[/b] Though he preferes hand-to-hand combat and bash the skulls of zombies with his steel-nuckle plates, he also carries 2 hand grantes and a gun with but a few bullets which he found after raiding his dads room. Beside those he is equipped with a katana which he order online a few years ago, its not as sharp as it used to be, as a matter of fact, it's quite blunt.

[spoiler=[b]Personality:[/b] ]Emily, even before all of this, was a do-it-yourself kind of girl. She liked getting her hands dirty, and getting a hands on experience when it came to life experiences. Emily feels as though if you don't at least try then you will never know if you will succeed. More times then not she probably failed miserably at some of the things she attempted but her 'never-give-up' attitude prevented her from stopping until she prevailed. Sometimes she can be considered a tomboy which is probably due to her father raising her. Even so Emily is a narutally optemistic and helpful person which is why she chose to take up medicine and nursing as a major. Even now, during the virus ourbreak, she maintains this personality. However, there has been some slight changes. Even though Emily's will still give her all to help someone, she now knows that there are some cases where she can't always be nice and helpful. Sometimes she has to cut her losses and leave people behind. Before she does, however, she will make sure she has done everything she possibly could have done. So in a sense she can be seen as optimistically naive. Emily would be the one to try and keep the group happy, and keep everyone from stressing out. She likes saying jokes but most of the time they are either old, stupid or plain not funny. Even so, since she isn't good at fighting, she seemed to have made it one of her goals to keep everyone smiling.

He is muscular, but not like a body builder, more average. He's 6'1 and he wears size 12 shoes. He usually wears Tapout shirts, faded blue jeans, a cross necklace, fingerless leather gloves, and black sunglasses.
Personality: Aryk has a good sense of humor, he's kind and caring, respectful, but he's also tough as nails. He was raised to be chivalrous so he would never hit a girl. Aryk never really gets angry unless you disrespect his family and/or friends. He's outgoing and makes friends easily. He also has charisma and charm to his roughness.

Skills: Aryk can play the guitar really well and sing semi-well. He is an expert marksman in archery and rifles and has been a gun fanatic ever since he was 12. He's also great at making makeshift weapons and using seemingly worthless items to good use.

Not trying to be rude but how did slow zombies take over the world? There easy to take and the infection rate would be slow, also if zombies need to eat that means eventually they'd starve so how long would that take and another annoying side thing zombies in either extreme humidity or cold would dissolve by micro organisms or freeze and even if thawed shatter.

-the 2 guns are good, and the crossbow is really great.
-Here's the problem. NORMALLY I would not accept any explosive devices, but considering you are a marine it would make since for you to have some of those. So I'll allow it with a limit of 10 and no chance of finding more throughout the role play.
So your app is good to go, but i cant accept until you can prove you read the rules.

[spoiler=How slow zombies are able to take over the world]
You would be right if it started in a a small town, but it will definitely start in larger cities with a lot of people. The slow only makes them weak if the people know what's going on.
The first zombie can show up and everybody will think that it's just a normal person. They don't bother avoiding it until somebody's already been bitten. Even after the first bite they will probably just think its a crazy person and try to hold him down, which will probably result in a few other people being infected.
The people think the scratches and bites are nothing more than that. Some of the bitten might go to the hospital, bite doctors and other patients. some go home and and infect there family. And this can continue for a while and by the time people realize there's an infection, there are now so many that the sheer number overwhelms the larger cities cities. Everybody tries to evacuate the cities at once, probably in cars & trucks, and the traffic means nobody is going anywhere, and the people in the cars get infected also. Before it becomes world knowledge some people will probably try to travel to other populated countries and Cary the virus with them.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Degrading & starving]
[b]Starving 1st[/b]-While some people might disagree with this, but zombies don't eat because they're hungry or because they need to. They eat out of instinct alone. The stomach isn't even able to break down the food that is eaten. So in short, the zombies will not starve to death.
[b]Degrading[/b]-A little more complicated to explain. But a lot or animals will, by pure instinct, avoid the Solanum virus and anybody who is infected by the virus. The same holds true for most of the bacteria that is responsible for degraving the human body. While not all of then stay away, it is enough to slow down the prosess. Some Zombies will last for as many as 5 years before the degrading process destroys the brain. (This is an estimate given by the 'zombie survival guide'. It goes in to a lot of detail about the zombies)
[b]Freezing[/b]-Because Zombies have no bloodflow they are unable to generate body heat and will freeze much easier than living people. Basicaly, if there is snow on the ground, most zombies will be frozen. And yes, if they are frozen then they will probably shatter much easier.

Im trying to hold back on the detailed information like this because i prefer leaving it to what you would actually know after about a month in zombieworld. And most people probably won't know, care, or even think about this stuff very often.

Whoops! Forgot about that. BTW, I have a total of 10 arrows, both normal and explosive? I was about to say that I was allowed 10 normal and 10 explosive arrows. Alright. I'm fine with that. Personally, I won't really need it that often. I might just be using it enough so that I would kill the last zombie with my last arrow or something.

Got it. BTW, I didn't say he was a Marine. You'll find out what rank he used to be after maybe a small plot point finishes, at least the first of the many that we can all think up.

However, there has been some slight changes. Even though Emily's will still give her all to help someone, she now knows that there are some cases where she can't always be nice and helpful. Sometimes she has to cut her losses and leave people behind. Before she does, however, she will make sure she has done everything she possibly could have done. So in a sense she can be seen as optimistically naive. Emily would be the one to try and keep the group happy, and keep everyone from stressing out. She likes saying jokes but most of the time they are either old, stupid or plain not funny. Even so, since she isn't good at fighting, she seemed to have made it one of her goals to keep everyone smiling.

A grease monkey is basically someone who works with cars. Fixing them, and the likes. I suppose if I made a bio it would make more sense but....I don't know....Since I was giving an option for the bio I'm kind of taking this golden opportunity to be lazy. Just with the bio of course.

Maybe my character could have a new love interest, since either way, the personalities we have could change (It could change a lot or a little. It doesn't matter.). In other words, things my character do will cause him to change in one way or another.

Sence I was on a phone last time I didn't look in to too much detail at the apps.
knt-I'm trying to limit explosives, so lets make the gernade count down to one or 2.
-I like the mma skills, but lets keep in to like green blt or something. Too much hand to hand-to-hand skills will take all of the fun out of the role play.
-I'll let you keep the katana if you REALLY want to, but it's really not the best zombie weapon. Katana's are ment for precise cutting, and they wont hold togeather verry long if you using them to bash through human skulls. (Even if they are dead, the skills are still hard.)
-As for your gun..... well that's 100% fine. We'll try to get you more ammo latter.

Hotaru-Other than having the doctor bag in the weapon section, which dont really matter to anybody, i would say your app is damb near perfect.

If you want your personalities to change that's fine wit me. The only reason I even put it in the app is because the rules say I have to.

Yeah, sure thing. Tried to keep the weapons to a minimum; a blunt katana which can break very quick and a gun with almost no ammo is already quite pathetic. The hand-to-hand skill is the obvious fall-back, my character would simple be eaten within mere seconds if he were to solely rely on his weapons
But aight, I'll limit the grenades down and swap the katana for a baseball bat then.

I actually don't understand the part where hand-to-hand combat takes away the fun of roll playing. It basicly puts the character at risk of getting bitten, where as in people who use semi or full automatic guns (or any other weapon for that matter) don't even need to be close to a target and therefore aren't put in danger, untill they run of out ammo ofcource.

Hand to hand doesn't take the fun out of it. It's really just that I don't want to take the chance of somebody jumping in to a crowd of 10-20 zombies and killing them with his bare hands. Not that I think you will do that, but keeping your skill to a minimal is just an extra precaution, seance I've never seen you role play.
Having skill in close range is actually a good thing, we'll be doing a lot of that, because most of out guns will be reserved for emergencies. And, despite what some people might think, using an Automatic Gun is just asking to get eaten because it screws up your aim and is a big waist of ammo.

Personality: Lukas is not a very die hard fighter, but he is good at it. Though he started as just a basic, normal type of guy. The Zombacolypse turned him into what he was born as, a fighter. Lukas is not, on the other hand, a trigger happy person, he is just good at it. He is actually quite nice and loves people, as long as they're not trying to eat his brains.
Skills: Expert climber and good with computers.
Weapon of choice: The Judge. (Actually exist. emi-Automatic Pistol that uses all types of ammo. Includes Shotgun Shells) Carries Two, has a 15 bullet capacity. Oh, and they're civilian certified. Also has a pair of swords his dad had.
