Monster

On I'm episode 21 and thinking to myself, "why on earth didn't I watch this before?". One of the underrated animes of recent times. It's got that Death Note kind of feel to it, but it's much better thought out (if in terms of plot devices rather than character development but you get the jist of what I'm saying, they are both amazing in their own rights).

If you haven't watched it, I'd recommend checking it out.

I absolutely hated the anime it was just to boring and the first ep was annoying ..u need to find better animes that one is just horrible !

I completely disagree. But then again, the monster manga is much better than the anime. Either way, how was the first episode annoying? And if you had something called patience, you would be rewarded as the series progresses. Once the story gets going, it gets amazing.

:o

I remember this anime, I always wanted a sequal back then.
Did Anna die (raped/murdered) in the anime or manga? Or was that some other character?

I don't think she died at all.
But yeah, this is my favorite manga.

It was quite long as it is, but I can see why it would be, it's brilliant.

This proves my earlier comment, you have no taste. I'm not even going to reply to this comment, because I'm not convinced you have a brain.

I can imagine why the manga would be better than the anime, but I'm not much of a manga person... what's different between the two? Anything significant?

It's brilliant. Very well-thought out, but I don't want to say too much as I still have so much to watch. :P

It kind of comes down to personal taste, but for me, I prefer manga in general to anime. I felt the monster anime was really well done, don't get me wrong, it was just that I felt the manga was better, especially considering I read the manga first. There is no major story differences between the manga or anime; actually, I don't even think there are any differences.

Then were did I get that from, must have been a fanfic or something. :(

Never tried the manga, but since I enjoy those more I'll probably look into it.
