I would take out all the Blazing Flare Dragons in the deck. It only works well as a Rearguard and if you have Amon as the Vanguard. But in the instance that you haven't drawn an Amon yet,
but you have a Blazing Flare to ride, you don't really want to ride it as a Vanguard since none of the trigger effects would work. I would sub the Blazing Flares for No Life King, Death Anchor.
Death Anchor is a nice substitute until you draw Amon because it soul charges every turn. Also, in the event you don't draw Amon at all, it's second ability may be nice to have as a backup plan.

As for the rest of the lineup, I personally dislike running Joka. Joka is only good when you utilize the Amon counterblast ability, and even then it's still pretty weak. I would rather run 2 Devil Child
for an easy 10k beater for the Vanguard or maybe 2 March Hare of Nightmareland for some perfect defense. I would also take something out to max out on Doreen, because she is awesome in this deck.

Very interesting premise though, it gave me the inspiration to make my own version, so thanks for that :P I will be testing this using proxies to see how well it plays.
Also, I think this deck would be broken if Dark Irregulars gets another draw trigger, draw triggers help so much with this strategy.

Blazing Flare Dragon is actually one of the best cards in the deck. It's the ideal card to drop late game especially when you gather 2-3 Makoragas, since you're soul charging 10-15 cards during the game. Not to mention it's one of the most synergestic grade 3s to play with Amon, considering it doesn't rely on counterblasts and powers up when used in conjunction with Amon.

Blazing Flare really does seem to work well with the deck. I'm just iffy about what happens if you don't draw Amon though, If you have no choice but to ride Blazing Flare right away, you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the trigger effects. Have you had any trouble getting Amon out first, and if forced to ride Blazing Flare instead, were you still able to win? I get how lovely Blazing Flare is for a late game push with makoraga or as a rearguard with Amon and makoragas, but it doesn't seem that consistent. I guess I'm not used to running mixed decks.

I've playtested the deck several times with No Life King instead of Blazing Flare, and I am starting to think Blazing Flare might be better. I used to just rely on Amon to use Makoraga's effect, and that burned too many cards. I occasionally pulled of Succubus of Deterioration, but when I don't ride it as a Grade 2 VG, I really don't like drawing into it. Perhaps Gywnn the Ripper is a good substitute, since it also burns and feeds Makoraga, however not so good if Blazing Flare is VG. Or Blue Dust for a good soul charger.

All you need is a Doreen or Alluring in the backrow to get off triggers

And I guess I can just go Amon on BFD apparently, and I could just stock up soul from Deterioration for BFD

idk

Really? I thought it had to be the same clan as the vanguard drive checking it, my bad. I didn't know as long as you had a dark irregular rearguard, the trigger effect works. Sorry about that :o
Then it is pretty awesome, Blazing Flare works really well in the deck then. Deterioration is pretty awesome, but it only works as Vanguard though.
Just to clarify though...as long as you have a DI rearguard, the trigger will work even if Blazing Flare is the vanguard correct? So if I had a Blue dust or knowledge drunkard in the rear, the trigger will work?
It doesn't just have to be doreen or alluring right?

@ExpelSword: The only card that makes use of the soul is Amon, so for a late game push, you could ride Blazing Flare, and most likely be able to use it's effect twice and get rid of any intercepting rearguards. Then makoraga gets a massive boost in attack, which means a very scary turn for the opponent. I would guess it depends on the situation on whether or not you'll use Blazing Flare's effect at the moment when you ride him. It wouldn't be a bad move to blow away some cards even if it means stripping away the soul and ruining Amon's disgustingly high attack power. It might get hard to run though, since most of the grade 2's only work with a Dark Irregular Vanguard..so getting out Amon first is probably a pretty big deal. Perhaps flame of hope aermo to filter out cards instead of joka to increase the chance of drawing Amon.
