Yang Xiao-Long
Link tells it somewhat better than I can Basically, people recorded their performance of their respective part, uploaded it to Youtube, and every voice is then put together into a massive "Virtual Choir." The biggest one to date is the performance of Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" which is below, in Virtual Choir 2.0. The first half of the video is the choir singing, the second half is the list of every person involved. There are 2,052 people, from 58 different countries, singing in that video. Currently underway is Virtual Choir 3.0, which currently has 62 countries involved, and even more people than its predecessor, Virtual Choir 2.0. So, YCM, what's your opinion on Virtual Choir? I personally love it, seeing as how it demonstrates how music can still impact the lives of so many people. On a sidenote, it demonstrates the power of the Internet.
