(Sorry I'm only posting now; I've been bed-ridden for the past couple days)

"CADEN!!" Rose screamed. Tears began streaming down Rose's face. "You...You...Gah! I'm not going to stand for this! Lampent, use Curse on that Rapidash, and follow it up with a Pain Split!"
Lampent nodded, and a blood-red beam of energy shot from his body at the Rapidash. Then, Lampent's body adopted a glowing white aura as it attempted to replenish some the health it lost from the Curse by stealing it from Rapidash.
Rose then turned his attention to Thorn. "And you. Don't think I forgot about you. Nidoking, come out and use Rock Tomb on her!" Rose tossed a ball into the air and his Nidoking emerged, roaring triumphantly. Then, the behemoth fired a small purple orb from his mouth at the ground near Thorn, causing rocks to spring up around her.

Suddenly, a massive brown bird Pokémon swooped down and dropped a person next to Caden. The person was Nathan.
"Caden...Damn...I just wish I'd gotten here sooner..." Nathan was just barely managing to hold back his tears, but that wouldn't be the case for very long. "Staraptor, grab that Servine and hit it with Close Combat in the air!"
The bird Pokémon flew forward and snatched up the grass snake in its talons before flying high into the sky. Then, Staraptor released it and proceeded to pummel it mercilessly before slamming it back down with a double-wing strike, sending it crashing into the ground.

Caden lay sprawled on the ground, unconscious, in a near-death state. Blood dripped - almost poured out the side of his neck, and his body started to go cold. To those around him, what would happen was clear. Had he been awake, Caden might have felt relief, or at least a little more joyful regarding the fact that he could say a few parting words, but that was not to be - unknown to him, the battle galore around him ensued.
At this point, Milotic, who had been there to watch the scene unfold, lay on the ground, whimpering from sadness.

(OOC: Sorry, writing about a dead guy - or rather nearly-dead and unconscious wasn't easy for me :P)

Thorn sighed. "I can end his damned life quicker, you know that, right? You're continued assault would merely increase the pain I can inflict. With a snap of my fingers, I could probably end it now. But you people don't understand that. Continual repition of the same trainer, to reckless to consider the power of a formidible opponent on other plains of battle."

Behind her, the Servine crashed into the ground, Vine Whips loosening on Milotic, but not quite letting go. The male grunt uttered a stream of curse words at Nathan, and kicked dirt in his direction.

"We should get out of her, Miss Violet." uttered the female, backing away from Nathan. "There are to many of them. And you know that myself and Daniel aren't the best at Pokemon fighting."

"Oh I know. Besides, I have what I came for. A mission reaping double rewards, practically successful." Thorn said, focusing her attention on the ground attack heading her way. With a sigh, she pointed to Milotic. "Surf."

The ensuing wave swept across the ground, picking up the fragments of rock and sending them swirling back at Nidoking. Thorn quickly returned both her Pokemon, and ran towards Daniel and the female grunt.

"You better have kept the escape route open Lexi. I'll kill you otherwise."

"Don't worry Miss; right there!"

The three of them sprinted torwards the large bird, and leapt on.

"Fly!" cried Lexi. The bird, an abnormally large Fearow, flapped it's wings and leapt into the air, flying speedily away from Graklus Isle. Away from the battle. Away from Turnback Cave.

*~*~*~*~*~*

Ashmin ran over to Caden, Tyla heading over to Milotic to soothe it's grief.

She knelt down next to Nathan.

"...It's too late, isn't it?" she uttered finally, hardly daring to say the words.

Tyla smiled up at Milotic, and did a little dance to make him feel better. Realising that wasn't working, he stroked Milotic instead.

"...Damn..." as all Rose could say. "Damn...Damn...Damn damn damn DAMMIT!"
Lampent, seeing that his trainer wasn't quite fit for deciding what to do with his Pokémon, used Psychic to return himself and Nidoking to their Poké balls.
"C-Caden..." Rose said, sniveling. "I'm...I'm so sorry I couldn't get here sooner...I...I feel so horrible..." Rose dropped to his knees next to Caden and pounded the ground beneath him. A torrent of tears swam down Rose's face.

Nathan finally couldn't take it anymore, and he began to cry as well. "Caden...I...It's all my fault...If I had arrived sooner, then this wouldn't have happened. But now...I vow to take down Draconius and Nebulus at all costs! You can count on that, kid."
Nathan finally stood up and picked up Staraptor's ball, returning the Predator Pokémon.
"Okay everyone...I'll call someone, and they'll get us all to Rockius. We'll figure out what to do with Caden on the way...
Nathan tapped a wristwatch-like device on his arm twice and began talking into it. He paused for a moment, then nodded and hung up. "They'll pick us all up right here."

Silver and Desu, now on Grakius Isle set off to do some investigating. Desu was told a few days ago in Magma forest via phonecall, that strange goings on have been happening on Grakius Isle. Silver wasn't convinced as he figured the phonecall could have come from anyone, however since he trusted Desu he decided to take his word for it.
"Hey Silver, do you think that i'm getting paranoid?" Desu asked after remembering what had happened in Magma forest.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~FLASHBACK~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Who is that sneaking around?" Desu froze for about a couple of seconds then...
~*~*~
In Ilex forest, A young Desu is hiding from Team Rocket who seem to be plotting something.
"Stupid Team Rocket" he ran away to hide amongst the trees when he ran into a large wooden structure. When he hit the structure, it glowed green and a voice could be heard.
"Protect me from evil"
"I will, what should i do?" Desu asked as the source of the green light came out of hiding, Desu immediately identified it quietly, it was Celebi, Celebi was hiding from Team Rocket because they were hunting it
"Get me away from those mean people."
Desu nodded in agreement as he didn't want to get in Team Rocket's way neither
~*~*~
"I can't let him disturb the forest pokemon"

~*~*~*~*~*~*~FLASHBACK ENDS~*~*~*~*~*~*~

After thinking about it with a look on his face that obviously looked as if he wasn't listening properly, Silver answered Desu's question.
"I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Why does it look like you weren't listening to my question properly Silver?" Desu replied, after reading Silver's expression though Silver ignored that question as well.

After a short conversation of banter later, Silver and Desu walked on to do their investigation, however Silver froze dead in his tracks and he heard a voice that sounded like a females.
"I can feel your doubts, my friend"
Silver almost blanked out the voice but then he could remember something from his past.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~FLASHBACK~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Silver woke up on the mysterious isle in Hoenn after a strange conflict, as a red jet-shaped pokemon came up to him.
"You feel a great pain yes?"
Silver rubbed his eyes to see if was dreaming, thge red jet-shaped figure could sense this
"You are not dreaming human, i am Latias and you can understand me because you wish to protect loved ones as does i"
"...and you sensed that from within my heart?" Silver asked with such doubts
"Yes, the ruby in the ring you got from your father is what allowed me to sense this."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~FLASHBACK ENDS~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Silver looked to his father's ring having remembered what Latias said then he turned to Desu, who wondered why Silver was looking at his ring.
"This ring is special to me, my father gave me this, yet i cannot remember why he gave it to me though."
Desu nodded as he understood what Silver was saying "Is there a reason why you wear it?" He asked
"I can't remember Desu, it was so long ago." Silver answered as he was feeling a bit stressed as he wanted to change the subject.

A while later, Desu noticed a large group of people in front of them and pointed them out to Silver. Both of them nodded and proceeded to walk towards them to investigate.

Night had now fallen on Graklus Isle. Off in the distance, one could hear the calls of Hoothoot and Noctowl, signaling it was time for all of the little nocturnal Pokémon to hide. Three Mandibuzz wheeled around in the sky, sensing a newly-deceased individual was nearby.
Far below the circling Bone Vulture Pokémon, a group of people sat around a small fire that was tended by a Lampent. The Lampent would occasionally use a Flamethrower or Ember to boost the flames of the fire temporarily and keep it from going out. Occasionally, the Lampent would look over at the brown-haired boy curled up against a rock.
An Arcanine sitting next to the fire turned his face from the warmth to the Lampent and nodded.
The Lampent nodded back at the Legendary Pokémon and went over to the brown-haired boy and tapped him on the shoulder. There was no response. More tapping. Still no reaction. Feeling a mixture of annoyance and concern, the Lamp Pokémon smacked the boy on the back of the head.
“Sorry, Lampent…” Rose said, rubbing where his Pokémon had smacked him. “I just kind of feel out of it…I mean, accepting that Caden is dead…It’s a little much…You know?” He sighed, then turned to face Lampent. He definitely looked out-of-sorts, that was for sure. “Also, Lampent, since I know your species has some kind of relationship with the dead…Do you know what Caden’s soul is doing right now?”
The Pokémon didn’t show his surprise at the question. He honestly didn’t know, so he merely placed his arm over his trainer’s shoulder reassuringly.

*~♪~♪~*
Nathan sat behind his Arcanine, holding Caden’s head in his lap, stroking his hair. “Caden…I’m so sorry…I shouldn’t have left you….” Nathan said, tears running down his dirt-streaked face. “If only I had been there for you…But it’s okay now….Your big brother is here…”
* * *
“Hey Caden, what’re you doing?” Nathan called out.
They were back in Sootopolis. Caden was sswimming and playing in the water with his newly-evolved Milotic, while Nathan and his Prinplup were sparring on the beach. Nathan had just come home mid-way through his journey in the Sinnoh Region for training. He wanted to make sure he could defeat Fantina easily, so he was giving extra training to Prinplup, Umbreon, and Glalie.
“I’m just playin’ with Milotic, relax!” Caden called back. Nathan noticed when Caden spoke that he was missing a few teeth.
“Caden, Nathan, dinner’s ready!” A tall man in a smudged apron with brown hair stepped out from the front door of a house. “Come in and dry off.”
* * *
Nathan wiped away the tears from his eyes. “If only…If only we could go back to days like those…I just wish we could have everything back to the way it was…”

Ashmin bit her lip. So much time had passed in what was like a blink of an eye. Suddenly it was turning to night. Had this been a normal day, Ashmin would have challenged the gym of Graklus, and might already have her gym badge. Instead, she and a few others were witnesses of what Ashmin could only call murder.
She wanted to comfort Rose and Nathan. But she knew she couldn't. She didn't even know them. As far as they were concerned, she was a random passerby who happened to witness rather shocking things. Things that they probably wouldn't get over for a long time.
She knew how they felt. But they probably felt worse.

*~*~*

"DAAAAAAAAD!" Ashmin cried. Her face was streaked with tears.
"What is it, sweetie? Why are you crying?" her father asked, his face concerned.
"You know how you SAID that Mom had gone to Unova?!" Ashmin snapped. Her father nodded slowly, not seeing where the conversation was going exactly.
"THEN WHY IS SHE OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW?!"
Her father looked puzzled. "You must be mistaken Ashmin Minna Rin. Your mother is in Unova. I saw her get on the plane myself."
"Then you're wrong."
Ashmin pushed away from her father and sprinted out the door, before pointing at a figure on the ground.
"EXPLAIN THAT!"
It was her mother, lying still on the ground. There was no signs of struggle. She looked peaceful, but it was obvious she'd been dead for a few days. It was obvious even to a young child such as Ashmin.
Her father showed no surprise.
"YOU KNEW, DIDN'T YOU? YOU KNEW MOTHER WAS DEAD." Everything went red.
"I HATE YOU!!"

*~*~*

Ashmin bit her lip again. Certainly not pleasant memories. She'd bawled her heart out for days, and had even thrown things at her ftaher when he dared come near her. Even so many years onward, she disliked her father. She also hated him for marrying again, as if he'd never married Ashmin's mother. Her step-mother was kind, that had to be said. But she's wasn't Ashmin's mother. They weren't related. They weren't family.

She heard others coming, and looked looked up. Two other people were approaching them. One looked like another trainer battling in the league. The other most certainly wasn't.

Since Ashmin could tell that not Nathan nor Rose would be in any position to talk about what was going on, she stood up.
"Hello." she said good naturedly, trying to ignore the sick, sad feeling in her gut. She was NOT going to cry. Not. At. All.

As Nathan's tears fell onto Caden's face, something in Caden's pocket started glowing - a harsh light ensnared Nathan, and time stopped momentarily...

"Who...are you?" a voice called out to Nathan telepathically as a cocoon-formed Jirachi revealed itself. "Oh...yes, now I understand... it seems I was too late in revealing myself..." the voice continued, before giving an introduction. "I am Jirachi, known as the 'Wish' Pokemon. As for why I am here... shortly before his death, your brother released...or rather unlocked me from the depths of his soul. Now, as for why you are here, Nathan, it seems that Caden has entrusted my powers to you..." With these words, the body of Jirachi glowed white, its form shrinking into that of a small stone, floating into Nathan's hand.
However, though its body was gone, the voice continued to speak. "Now, I am sure that you have many questions for me, so now, allow me to take the time to answer what I can" the voice concluded.

*****
A noise from Evraflow Tower sounded, slightly alarming Rectus. He quickly scurried into the main computer room, where a bright red light flickered on one of the screens. Rectus approached the blinking light and fingered it - immediately, Caden's trainer profile had appeared, this time with one noticeable difference compared to before. Caden's picture had become colored in black and white, with a large, red-colored, diagonally-positioned "DECEASED" over it.
Rectus brought his watch to his mouth and pressed one of four buttons on the side. "Judas, you should probably have a look at this..." he stated, sending over Caden's profile page.

Judas picked his watch up to his mouth. "I know, I saw it happen. A Crobat did it. There was a pretty big scene going down afterward, and now some people are huddled around a campfire. I'm coming back now."
Dammit! Now let's just hope that Thundurus meant Rectus...Otherwise, I'll never become all-powerful...

*~♪~♪~*

Nathan was taken aback by Jirachi's sudden appearance. "Wait...You came too late? When did you come and why did you wait until then?" Nathan felt an odd mixture of rage and confusion toward Jirachi...He was mad that he not arrived in time to spare Caden's life, but confused as to why he appeared at all. Nathan laid himself down on Arcanine's plush mane and felt the stone in his pocket. He sighed and wiped further tears from his eyes.

Rose's dreams were filled with images of flames and the screams of children.
He was standing in a large stadium, one with hundreds of thousands of people in the stands—Well, it did, before massive explosions rocked the arena and sent people running while killing others. There were deafening roars filling the air, and the ground quaked continuously. Occasionally, a beam of energy would slice across the sky and pierce through the thick layer of black-and-red smoke filling the air, revealing the clear blue of midday.
"What....? What's going on?" Rose asked, bewildered. He looked around at the chaos surrounding him, then he finally looked straight in front of him. There, a shimmering, translucent mass hovered in front of him.
Across the battlefield from Rose hovered a large, ominous shadow. "Dark..." the shadow seemed to say.

Rose awoke from his nightmare with a start. He looked around. Nothing had changed. Then, he noticed the girl off to his left. She had long, dark hair beneath a western-style hat.
"Hey, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier. My name is Rosencrantz Alexander Blackwood, but you can call me whatever. What's your name?" Rose did his best to feign a smile, but to no avail; he still looked rather depressed.

Ashmin smiled slightly. It probably didn't do much to lift the mood of the whole scene, but that couldn't be helped. Wounds took time to heal. Especially if they cut deep.
"I'm Ashmin Minna Rin." she said politely, leaving off the "Clarendu" of her name. No point getting into that far of a technicality. Not with wierd stuff going on like crazy. Really.
My life must suck. I witness two deaths, one within a few metres, another a day or two afterwards. Next thing I know I'll be the one keelin over. I hope not. She thought, keeping her also depressed mood from her face. No need to continue the depression. Or aid it's continuation. That was a stupid idea.

*~*~*~*~*~*

Lexi guided the Fearow down at base, eyes alight with what was a mixture of fear and admiration. For once, she and Daniel had succeeded. They'd distracted the powerful opponent of Violet so Violet could defeat him and be rid of him. That also made her nervous, since she didn't like being in league with murderers.
Daniel was laughing to himself, probably retelling the happenings in his mind. Thorn never knew what went on there. All she knew was that he had good ideas that were sometimes spoiled by his matching stupidity.
"Alright, we're here." Lexi announced, touching down. Her Fearow screeched, and she reached into her bag. Pulling out some food, she threw it to the Fearow and jumped off.
"Mission accomplished, I'd say." Thorn declared. "We discovered the contents of Turnback Cave and we rid ourselves of one more problem."
Daniel froze on his jaunty way. "But there were four other trainers." Daniel said, glancing at his fingers for a moment.
"Yea. What about them?" Lexi ventured.
Thorn smiled slightly.
"We'll deal with them soon enough. But not like we did that boy. Each will have a different sort of extreme defeat. Crash of spirits, forced crash, you know. That deal. Creativity is the key. Each defeat can't be connected to another. There will be no similarities. Whatsoever."
"Except you, of course, Miss Violet." added Daniel
"Of course."

"Nathan, Nathan... I don't think you quite understand my role and purpose...you see, it was not I who decided my arrival - it was only due to Caden 'unlocking' me deep in his soul that I was able to act at all - and even then, I remain stuck in my dormant state, meaning that I didn't have the power to save him anyways" Jirachi's telepathic voice explained. "While we're at that, I should probably tell you a little about me - While I am at full power, I can grant anyone up to three wishes - however, I am awake for only one week every millennium" the voice continued.

"But - even while I sleep, my ability to communicate with others remains. However, I can tell that you are grieving, and as my new guardian, I cannot quite sit still about it. So let me ask you this - truthfully, how much do you care about Caden, and how much are you willing to give for him? Answer this and I will provide you with some advice" the voice concluded as the stone in Nathan's pocket resonated.

*****
"Alright, take your time..." Rectus answered, speaking into his watch. "A death...so it seems that things have begun" he thought, exiting Evraflow Tower, looking towards the sky. "Nebulus...Draconius...just what are you teams up to this time?" he growled to himself, awaiting Judas' arrival.

Nathan hesitated before answering Jirachi's question. What would I be willing to give up...? How much do I care for him? Are these trick questions?
"I'd be willing to give anything for Caden. I'd give my own life for him, I'd give up my very soul. Anything for Caden...He's my little brother after all...I mean, I'm his big brother...Big brothers...You know why they're born first? To protect the little ones that come after them. And I couldn't do that for Caden...That's all I wanted to do, and I failed him...So it'd be the least I could do to make it up to him to bring him back!" Nathan looked over at Jirachi. "Tell me, how can I get Caden back?"

*~♪~♪~*

"Ashmin Minna Rin...That's a nice name. Sounds better than mine, I can tell you that," Rose said, laughing slightly. "So, since our transportation probably won't be here for a while...Why did you decide to become a trainer? What made you consider going out in the open world and fighting alongside your partners?"

*~♪~♪~*

Judas finally arrived at the top of Evraflow Tower. He figured Rectus was in the Database Room, so that's where he went first.
Sure enough, his assumption was correct. "So, Rectus, what do you suppose you'll do now, since that kid died? I mean, you can't just ignore it..." Judas paused. "Well, I mean, if people know about it. But, seeing as how the only people who know are me, you, and a couple of kids, ewe don't have to tell anyone, and we can keep this whole incident under wraps...I mean, the IPLC* might shut us down when they hear that a trainer died..."

As night fell and the Murkrows started to sing, Silver and Desu appeared to look tired as they approached another group of people who didn't look all too cheery. Earlier that day, just after their arrival on Grakius Isle, they encountered another group of people, asking for intel on strange things going on, although that group of people that they met were just random bystanders who didn't know much info for them to use, and thus they had to move on.
As they was approaching the group, a trio of Mandibuzz were circling around a random spot a few miles away, though this didn't faze neither Silver or Desu. Silver noticed one of the group greeting them, it was a good sign for the both of them, as Silver graciously walked up, cleared his throat and decided to make a response to the greeting.

"Hello there, my name is Silver Yuja and i'm a pokemon trainer hailing from New Bark Town in the Johto region." he said confidently.

"And i'm Desu Crosstar, a member of the Cygrus Region's Elite 4 commanding the majestic Bug-Type and i come Azelea Town in the Johto Region." Desu said following Silver's greeting.

Silver looked to the skies as he was sitting down around the fire that everyone else was sitting around. It appeared as if it was a quiet night with the wild pokemon roaming around incident free, though as Silver turned to the group, there was a different atmosphere hovering around. He wondered waht was happening and quickly glanced at Desu who shrugged his shoulders and sitting down next to him, hinting at the fact that he doesn't know either, so Silver had decided to sigh and wait for someone to engage in conversation with him.

(OOC: Nice Bleach Reference there, Dharc :3)

"I see...you will get a chance to prove those words later...you'd best prepare for that" Jirachi spoke in a somewhat solemn tone. "Now, I will say this much - there is a way to revive Caden. However, a journey to achieve that will be difficult - assuming you will take the job, you will most likely be risking your life for the impossible" it explained.

"That stone you hold in your hand - it is known as the 'Wishes Hedron'. To access my powers, I must be awakened - however, this cannot be achieved by natural means, as it will be another 823 years before the next Millenium Comet is to fall. In order to forcefully awaken me, you will need the power of another legendary Pokemon: Celebi - this one has its soul stored within the Transcend Hedron. The remaining steps will come when they occur..." Jirachi stated, its voice quivering through the night - or at least what seemed like night in the realm they were in.

"But, I am warning you once again...should you be willing to take this challenge, you must accept the consequences - should you succeed, Caden will not be the same as he was when he left this world, and should you fail, you shall perish as well" Jirachi concluded, trying to explain this news in the calmest voice it could. "Knowing this, are you still willing to continue?" it asked.

*****
"Judas...no, we cannot just ignore it. And I apologize for bursting your bubble, but the kid wasn't just 'some trainer'. His death can't be kept secret for long...The best we can do for now is delete his trainer profile from our database...but other than that, we have important matters to attend to" Rectus spoke, pressing a key on the giant computer in front of him. Immediately, Caden's profile disappeared.

"I think it's pretty obvious who's behind this" he said in a low voice. "Those teams, Nebulus and Draconius...we have to do something about them. Judas, let's go!" Rectus called, striding into the elevator. "We must go investigate the situation around Cygrus..." he finished, taking a Pokeball with him.

As they reached the top, he hurled the Pokeball into the air. A white flash of light lit up the sky, and a blue and red-colored dragon emerged from it. Rectus hopped on its back and awaited Judas.

"Yes!" Nathan shouted. "I'd do anything for Caden! If it means going to the ends of the Earth and destroying my own soul with my won two hands, I'll do it for Caden!" Nathan swung his right arm out to the side as he spoke, just like Caden did during his battles. "I swear on my life, I will do anything to bring Caden back!"
Nathan was now out of breath. He had never felt such a strong conviction, such strong determination. It felt invigorating.

*~♪~♪~*

Judas sighed as they reached the roof. "Fine. Whatever. I'll investigate Rockius, Immortafreeze, Gloomdelta, and the surrounding areas." Judas tossed a ball into the air, revealing Rectus's Skarmory. He hopped onto the Armor Bird Pokémon's back. "Anything else you wanna tell me before I leave?"

Silver paused for a moment after hearing the shout but then gave a little sigh and continued to wait around with the others. Then the ring on his finger glowed, but very faintly, it was then that his eyes started to close and he appeared to be cut off from the outside world

"You seem very distracted don't you?" Latias asked
"I do a bit, i just don't know why these people are feeling sorta depressed, maybe something happened?" Silver repiled with such confusion
"I see, but don't forget what you have to protect." Latias had said calmly, reminding Silver of what was to be done
"Yes, but who is it that i must---"

Silver was cut off before he could finish his question as he opened his eyes, regaining consciousness, Desu was the first to notice this and asked what had happened, to which Silver could only reply "Still got no answers."

Although he was worried about Silver's problems, Desu couldn't stop thinking about the incident that had happened in the Ilex Forest many years ago involving Team Rocket and Celebi.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Flashback~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Please protect me."
"Don't worry Celebi." Desu replied as a load of Team Rocket Grunts surrounded him.
"End of the line, now hand it over!" One of the Grunts shouted.
"Not so fast, go Butterfree!"

~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~Flashback Ends~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Desu sighed as he knew it wasn't Silver's fault that he was able to remember what had happened in Ilex Forest, however Silver felt that it was his fault and confronted Desu about this.

"Desu, listen i'm sorry about what had happened in Magma--" though just as Silver was going to finish his sentence, Desu interrupted as he didn't want Silver to feel guilty.
"Silver it's ok, i forgive you, it's just that........oh never mind"

Silver could sense Desu was distracted by something, the only problem was that he couldn't figure out what is distracting him. As he sighed, he couldn't help but think what could be distracting Desu from what was important "I will figure out what is distracting Desu, i just don't have the clues as of yet."

Vacuus darted through the alleys of Hauntra, its metal armor not making a single clink despite the high speeds of the Lucario as it moved. It darted beside a garbage can, hopped over a fence, leaped from the side of a brick wall onto the top of a roof, then flitted across that at a high speed before dropping down into a second alley. Move, jump, dodge, jump- it almost didn't notice a flash of red from the corner of its eye, managing only to duck in time as half a ton of harsh metal whistled above it.

It lept to action, darting out with a foot to the chest of the attacking scizor, which the enemy had anticipated by quickly moving to the side and lashing out with another stone-shattering blow. Vacuus warded it off by crossing its arms, unfurling them just in time to catch the enemy unawares before lashing out with another kick to the less-armored chin of the double-suited insect. It spun itself in a circle within the air before gather aura energies into its claw-spikes, keeping the sphere close to itself until it finally gripped the ground, where it released the sphere instantly.

The scizor, having recovered quickly, gathered its own light energy into itself. Photons spun around as they bounced off an infinity of infinitely polished surfaces within the scizor's metal body, amplifying it to a ludicrous extent- it released the beam of shimmery energy just in time to strike the comparatively slow sphere of aura. The energies met in the center, and a flash of feedback vaporized a nearby brick wall, but the aura won the struggle almost instantaneously, the power slamming into the scizor's bronze armor and knocking it back into a next wall, where the bricks sagged inward at the impact.

For a moment, both steel pokemon were silent, but Una then nodded and vanished in a show of incredible speed. Superior though slightly slower, Vacuus looked around, grasped the bearings of his surrounds, and ran off into the city.

Ashmin looked at Silver, a look of slight confusion on her face.
"You're from New Bark Town?" she asked, then smiled slightly again. "Funny, that's my hometwon also. Funny world."
She then looked at Rose and considered his question. What was the answer? She wasn't perfectly sure, though one answer was that she wanted away from her father, who'd rejected her mother and rejected telling her the truth. But that wasn't exactly the most pleasent of tales from such a grim day.
"Well... I guess I did it for the excitment. Travelling the world, seeing the sights, learning all there is to learn about the world, about Pokemon. " she shrugged, as though she wasn't even sure of her answer. "And besides, I want to be a Pokemon Professor when I grow up, so I'm travelling so I know more about the world in general rather than just Johto."
She smiled again. Tonight she seemed to be pulling smiles from nowhere, lightening the mood. She enjoyed that. "And, of course, I travel to make friends. There's no use travellling if you can't have trustworthy companions by your side. That's what I say."

"As expected of you...you are indeed determined. Well then, I wish you the best of luck" Jirachi's voice brightened as the blackness around it and Nathan disappeared, leaving Nathan back on Earth.

The night on Earth shattered, leaving the skies devoid of black - instead, they were colored a deep blue as the sun strolled across the sky. The Mandibuzz, as well as the nocturnal Hoothoots and Noctowls had disappeared. Instead, one could hear the shrieking of Dodrio off the mountains.

"Splitting up might not be the best idea here..." Rectus commented, stopping Judas before he headed off. "The way you described it, that was the kid's mistake, am I right? Look, we may be members of this region's Elite 4, but that gives us no excuse to be careless" he said in a joking lecture voice.

"So ideally, our first step is to find these organizations' headquarters. Now, we know that one of Team Draconius' goals seems to be the capturing of the legendary Giratina, so we should take careful note of Turnback Cave" Rectus pointed out, removing an electronic map from his bag. He tapped one point on the map with his finger, leaving a red marker behind. "Alright, with that said, let's go" Rectus' face became cold and focused as he nodded to Judas. Immediately, Salamence took off into the skies, sending a gust backwards.

Rose blushed when Ashmin smiled at him. "Yeah...Making friends...That's what I wanted to do too. I was kind of lonely as a child, since I was raised in Undella Town, where everybody is an old rich person...I had no real friends, other than my Lampent, so I wanted to get out and see the world with Pokémon. And I finally managed to meet someone like Caden...But I guess that wasn't meant to last..." Rose paused. "But I shouldn't dwell on that. He may be dead, but we shouldn't be all depressed about it. We all have eachother and our Pokémon."
"Hey! Everyone!" Nathan exclaimed, leaping to his feet. "I know how we can bring Caden back! But, in order to do it, we need to find Celebi. With Celebi's power, we can bypass the remaining years left for the Millenium Comet to awaken and wish for Caden to come back to life with Jirachi's power." Nathan was ecstatic. Caden wasn't gone forever.
"What?" Rose said in disbelief. "We can bring Caden back?!" Rose smiled brightly.

*~♪~♪~*

Judas nodded and Skarmory began to follow Rectus's Salamence. "Alright, you lead the way, Rectus."
That's right, Rectus...Lead the way...Then, I'll take you down and nobody will ever hear from you again...And Thundurus's power will be mine...

Someone actually died around here? Silver thought as he was heard what Rose was saying. He glanced over and saw a couple of Dodrio shrieking in the distance, signalling the start of the new day. "Guys." Silver exclaimed "After hearing about what had happened despite arriving late, me and Desu have decided to stay and offer our services."
"That's right!" Desu said with such confidence as he was practicing his exercises like he does every morning.

When Nathan said that Caden could be brought back and mentioning Celebi, Desu walked over with intrest. "Did you say Celebi? That brings me back to when i was in Ilex Forest. I encountered a Celebi being pursued by Team Rocket, so i had to protect it. I guess i could help with finding it."

Silver smiled when he saw Desu being of help, but couldn't help but become distracted himself, he looked at his ring for guidance, however nothing happened which dawned on Silver that he was on his own for now, but he wasn't alone as he was surrounded by people he judged that night as acquaintances, but they're slowly looking like friends.

Kevin stood at the stairs leading up to the city entrance. There was a sign to label the city, but he wasn't concerned about where he was. A city meant people, and that opened innumerable possibilities for the day. He could rest, eat something fancier than what he had packed before leaving camp, maybe sleep in an actual bed if money permitted it. Then there was always the chance of a phone, if he wanted to call his family and let them know how he was doing. And of course, there were his Pokemon companions to tend to.

It had been some time since he had come to this region. The forest and its story had been left behind, reserved in memory. Each day brought with it a new little adventure, and a new challenge. The most pressing on Kevin's mind had been Python. Indeed, Python had remained fairly hostile to him and Mara, even after capture. He refused offered food in favor of hunting his own, and while he didn't seem inclined to attack Kevin, he had no such qualms with picking fights with Mara for absolutely no reason, or over incredibly petty things.

Naturally, the snake's threat level to himself and Mara meant it was difficult for Kevin to forge any real bond of friendship, but the compensation was that Python could be kept in a Pokeball if he got overly aggressive, and Kevin was quick to use him in Pokemon battles, as the aggression and pent up hostility revealed Python to be a magnificent battler who, interestingly, followed Kevin's advice.

Actually, that wasn't true at all. Python, unlike Mara, hated how vague the commands were. Kevin had never cared for Pokemon battling as a serious competition, and so was content with offering his Pokemon commands that left wiggle room in case they knew something he didn't, rather than assuming it was the other way around. Mara occasionally disregarded the advice in favor of her own style or ideas, but Python was openly irritated by the lack of direction. Despite this, the Ekans still won almost all battles he was sent out for, and Kevin preferred him as the starting battler, if only because that left Mara refreshed enough to counter any acts of hostility the snake would eventually turn onto her.

It wasn't until just a day ago that Python had settled in more, and Kevin noticed that while he still picked a fight with Mara, it was less genuine and more like a routine. This was a good sign, as he had plenty of time now to observe Python's behavior and pick up on the habits and personality the Pokemon had.

Not that Python had been remotely amused when Kevin decided to capture a Pokemon that was clearly intended to be his lunch. But that was a story for another time.

Ashmin blinked at Nathan as he announced that they could save Caden. She didn't see how it was possible, but the mere thought gave her hope. Hope that not everything would be grim and dark.
It's almost too much to hope for, a chance to save Caden. I don't even know the guy, and I'm still here. It doesn't make any sense. As much as resurrecting a person does.
Then she noted the importance of Jirachi in the plan. Jirachi had woken not to long ago, by it's standards. Something like eight hundred years until it would awaken again. If they travelled to that time to use the power of Jirachi's wishes, then Caden would have been dead for eight centuries. She held back a grimace. That seemed slightly disgusting, the thought.
Best not say anything. Rose or Caden might get upset. Best just to go along with it and forget the technicalities of the plans backfire.
She looked at Nathan. "We can save Caden? That's amazing!" she smiled warmly. She still didn't quite believe they had that option. But she was willing to go through with it.

Nathan looked over at Desu. "Really? You met Celebi? In that case, I'd love your help. Now, I heard that, in the Cygrus Region, Celebi resides in a place known as the Evraflow Forest. However, that place is said to only appear once every century...So, there is the difficulty of locating it, and then the problem of waiting for it to appear to us." Nathan now seemed decidedly unhappy. His brilliant plan seemed to be falling out from under him.
"Wait!" Rose interjected. "If we can't wait for Celebi, then what if we found Dialga? I mean, he actually has physical control over time."
Nathan shook his head. "No...Jirachi specifically stated we needed the power of the Transcend Hedron, whatever that is. He gifted me with this, something he called the Wish Hedron." Nathan pulled a crystalline object from his pocket. The object was silver, but it reflected yellow and blue light when Nathan turned it.
"Wait a minute..." Rose reached into his pocket, and he pulled out a similar object. However, this one was clear, and it reflected blue and red lights. "I was given this by Latios in a dream...You think it's somehow connected to the Wish and Transcend whatevers?"

Ashmin looked puzzled as the plan backfired. Only Evraflow Forest had Celebi in the region of Cygrus. Evraflow only appeared once a century. Without Celebi, they couldn't get the Transcend Hedron, whatever that was.
She got even more confused when Rose and Nathan pulled out shining stones. Nathan's was silver, shining yellow and blue in the light of the sun. Rose's was clear, shining red and blue. Nathan said his was the Wish Hedron, but Rose didn't know if his was a Hedron. Or whatever.
A small plan formed. A tiny one.
"Maybe we don't need to find Celebi." she suggested. "Maybe we just need to find the owner of the Transcend thing. Maybe that person isn't as hard to find as a once-a-century forest."
Maybe. That's the key word of the whole sentence. Maybe. Maybe someone has the Transcend Hedron thing. Maybe they'll help us find Jirachi. Maybe Jirachi can help us. It's all maybe. Not a word I ever really liked. It's neither positive nor negative. More a mixture of both that could be torn either way to fit a person's wants or thoughts.
