Silver left the pokemon center as soon as Totodile was fully healed, he knew that there was much of the day left and it was only midday. He approached the edge of Terramean City with Levia Bridge in the immediate distance a few kilometres away.
"So according to the Town Map, the next gym is in Flamvius Town across the Levia Bridge which is......HOW LONG?!" Silver couldn't believe how long Levia Bridge was when he checked the Town Map, then some of the villagers of Terramean had been making a commotion over a rare sighting.

"Yeah, i saw sparkles coming of it and everything, i swear it's a rare pokemon." One of the kids said

Upon hearing this, Silver ear metaphorically grew bigger and he glided over to the kids to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"What's this about a rare pokemon?"
"Mind your own." the kid snapped back thinking it was none of Silver's business
"He claimed to have saw a Beldum with a sparkle in the desert." one of the other kids explained, much to the first kids' dismay.

Silver thought for about 15 seconds before deciding to hunt this rare pokemon in the desert and put on his Gogo Goggles and prepared to walk into the desert. Upon returning to the desert, Silver wanted to make sure it is a quick job hunting the rare pokemon just in case the same incident that happened in the desert before happened again.

15 minutes later Silver stopped dead to think about what he was doing. He thought whether the kid in Terramean was lying about the rare pokemon sighting, he wondered whether the Diglett attacking him belonged to the kid that claimed he saw that Beldum. After thinking about this, he dismissed all thoughts after remembering that the Diglett was wild and that he nor Staravia saw anyone else in the desert at the same time as him, then from behind something came charging at him, the sound got louder and louder but Silver ignored it. The mysterious thing had bonke on Silver's head and it did look like a 10 ton weight had fallen on top of Silver's head, and as he feared his Gogo Goggles fell to the ground, but he was able to pick them up before looking up to see who had bumped him on the head.

"I don't believe it, it really is a Shiny, arggh... i mean a differently coloured Beldum, i'm so catching that thing...ah ow." Silver broadcast as he was rubbing his head before reaching for the pokeball containing Staravia.
"Staravia, get out there!"

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Go pokeball!" Silver shouted as he threw the pokeball, nudge 1, nudge 2, then the pokeball released Beldum meaning that it wasn't caught. This had annoyed Silver who returned Staravia into his pokeball in favour of Larvesta. Silver then realised that he should've used it before and then sent it out to duke it out with the slowly tiring Beldum.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The flames coming from Larvesta's attacks had become more powerful because of the sandstorm, thus it wasn't long before the beldum to be defeated, then Silver threw the pokeball at Beldum again, nudge 1, nudge 2, nudge 3, sparkles surrounded the pokeball meaning that Beldum was caught.

About an hour and a half later, Silver had returned to Terramean City holding up the pokeball, the kid who was bragging about seeing a differently coloured Beldum asks what was in the pokeball, so Silver sent it out, everyone was in awe of seeing the Beldum, but then the same kid who asked waht was in pokeball responded with "Told you!" and everyone left soon after.
Silver was then pondering whether or not he should go across Levia Bridge knowing how much time he had used up going into the desert, and instead headed into the pokemon center to heal up and think about whether he should stay in Terramean until the next day.

Caden glanced at the Pokeball, ignored it for a moment, then looked up at Nathan, shocked and speechless. It took a minute for the Caden to process the news - his eyes widened and tears welled up inside his eyes. "Please tell me you're lying..." he whispered is disbelief as he lowered his head. As Nathan released his Staraptor, preparing to leave, Caden grabbed him around the stomach, evidently holding in his tears. "Please...don't leave me right now..." he whimpered softly, pressing his head against Nathan. "I don't know what to do anymore" he continued, breaking down into small, stifled sobs.

Rectus stepped out of the elevator, leaving Evraflow Tower. He made his way over to the stadium where the conference was to be held. "In a couple of short months, this this place will be packed" he thought, sighing. "Let's just hope that Team Nebulus and Draconius do not make matters worse for our challengers..."

Nathan sighed. "Listen, Nathan, there's nothing I can do, aside from go after Nebulus and Draconius. And whatever you do, don't try to take them down. You aren't nearly ready. For now, I suggest you just keep going. Keep challenging the gyms and make it to the Evraflow Conference. So long as you, Atrus, and Rose all stay together, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Now, please let go, as I must get going."
Staraptor tugged harder at Nathan, and Nathan in turn gently pushed Caden away. The two got airborne, and they flew off toward the south.
Next stop—Rockius. Then it's a long trek across Woodra to Hauntra town, and finally over to the Blade Mountains.

— — —

Rose ran out of the Gym to where Atrus and Caden were standing. "Hey, guys, I did it, and Scraggy evolved! Let's—" Rose stopped and looked at Caden. "Hey, what's rong, Caden?" He patted Caden on the back and rubbed his shoulder reassuringly.
Suddenly, a searing pain shot through Rose's head. "AGH! What the—?" Rose collapsed to the ground, and his whole world went black.

*~♪~♪~*

"Ugh...Where am I?" Rose asked, looking around. He stood in a clearing in the middle of a dense forest. The sky above him was as clear blue as it could ever be. In front of Rose, there was a small crystal-clear lake with a small grassy island in the center. In the middle of the island, there was an odd grey stone with a glowing blue gem in the middle of it. "Huh...I wonder what that—"
The gem's glow intensified before bursting outward, sending a gust of wind out toward Rose. When the light faded, there was a blue-and-gray jet-looking Pokémon hovering in front of Rose.
I am Latios. There seems to be a lot of Compassion in your heart...The will to Protect is strong with you, as well...Interesting. Why is that? Why are you so caring toward others?
"Umm, well, Latios, you see...It's just something that I've always felt. Everybody deserves to be happy, and everyone will eventually need someone to be there for them and hold them up. I feel like that's my job—To make everyone happy all the time. And to do that, I need to protect them and be kind to them and let them lean on me when they need it."
Hmmm...Interesting. What is your name, Human?
"Rose. My name is Rose Blackwood."
Rose...Blackwood...What an odd name. Why do you have two names? And why are they both plants?
Rose laughed. "Rose is an abbreviation of 'Rosencrantz', which was my great-grandfather's name. And Blackwood is the name that all people in my family have. But you can just call me Rose."
Haha. I know the concept of human naming and surnames, I was merely making a joke. Very well, Rosencrantz Blackwood, I am going to entrust you with something. You must make sure that you never EVER lose it, because if you do, then our souls will be lost forever.
Rose gulped. "Uh, okay...Thanks, Latios..."

*~♪~♪~*

Rose finally awoke, his head no longer hurting. "Ugh, what a weird dream..." Rose stood up, and an odd feeling of weightlessness filled his body. When he moved, it was just the way he always did, but it felt different.

Thorn

"Most likely I would only wager what needed to be wagered. I'm not someone who has 12 year old sized tantrums." she said, bringing out a Pokeball.
"Besides, it's not as if I meant any harm towards Moby or yourself. I don't think we could afford any faculty loss, what with us need to track down the dragons. We'd need even imcompetent people to help us, I'd believe."

She truned to Sera, somewhat bored. "Now, would I be allowed to go on my mission?" she asked. "I'f I'm not mistaken, I have a mission in Graklus, tracking down the whereabouts of the Reverse World portal. I'd much enjoy to leave this little skirmish, - all intended as a bit of fun - and proceed to do my duties."

This is something organized by the owners. Thorn's gotta be in Graklus for a little... plot twist... to happen. And, yea.

*~*~*~*~*~*

Ashmin blinked. Everything happened in a sudden blur. Two of that group of four walked away, and the remaining to had a small talk, at which the other one - Caden, if she recalled correctly - sort of broke down. She didn't know any of them, but she knew how he would feel. She was close enough to both to overhear, though she probably shouldn't have. It sounded somewhat private.
But Ashmin had lost family also. Her mother had argued, divorced then died in a few days. Her father hadn't told her the last, but she found out. She'd cried non-stop for several days, and had hated her father for not telling her. It had faded away after a while, but the pain was there.

She wouldn't be surprised if Caden was going through the same thing. It was probably harder on him, since he was older than Ashmin had been. He would have known his father longer. That would be heartbreaking to the extreme.

She still didn't feel comfortable about going forward and introducing herself. Especially since that would establish that she'd eavesdropped on a private conversation. She even took a step back, to allow Caden more privacy if he so needed.

"N-nothing..." Caden stammered, wiping his eyes as Rose passed out before him. When Rose came to no more than a few seconds later, Caden did nothing more than glance at him. "Rose, Atrus, go on without me - I think I need some time on my own" Caden said monotonously without lifting his head. He pulled out a Pokeball from his bag and threw it into the air. A white flash of light burst out in the sky, then disappeared to reveal a Garchomp. Caden climbed onto Garchomp's back and the blue dragon dashed several hundred feet away in just a few seconds.

Within a few minutes, Caden was leaning against a pole somewhere on the outskirts of Grakus Isle under a highway, or at least something of the sort. He closed his eyes and slid down with his back against the pole. "Dammit, Nathan...Must you always keep me in the dark?" he thought, slamming his fist on the ground in a mix of sadness and frustration.

It was a simple mission. Find the Reverse World portal, inform Sera of the whereabouts, go in, find Giratina, capture it. Of course, simple plans never went as simply as they should.
Not that Thorn knew how much distraction her mission was in for.
She had lost of the cape that she usually wore, and now looked like some punk trainer, which was probably odd in itself. But it would blend in more than a large Team Draconius symbol on a sea of rainbow colors. Less attention, the better. This mission was pure stealth, after all. Not that stealth was neccessarily Thorn's strong point.

As she walked across Graklus, listening to the local legends and jotting down info, a Pokemon floated beside her. It was a small Meditite, glowing pink slightly to remain aloft. It's eyes were closed in concentration, keeping it's movement steady and talking to it's master.

"So, it turns out that this Reverse Portal is in Turnback Cave, somewhere deeper in Graklus." Thorn stated, unaware that Caden was nearby.
Perhaps. Perhaps not. We must first investigate the cave in order to see it's full potential as a Reverse World portal.
"Of course. That was my intention. Once we have confirmed it's interior, we act accordingly. Either we tell Sera and go in the portal, or tell Sera and return."
The former also leads to the other options of fighting Giratina and returning with it, or fighting Giratina and returning defeated.
"I've brought particular Pokemon just for the purpose of trumping Giratina in type. There is no worries that we can defeat it, even in it's home realm."
Do not underestimate Giratina. It has lived in the Reverse World since the begginning of time. It knows how to use it's power to further it's own. Despite type advanatage, it has the strength advantage. And, of course, it can change it's form to render our attack useless.
"Shuddup. I'm confident we can defeat Giratina and return triumphant. No need to spoil the mood."
I take pride in ruining moods on occasion.
"Whatever. We will capture Giratina. In the name of Team Draconius. Nothing will stop us."
Except Giratina himself.
"Shuddup."

With that, they walked in silence, heading in the shortest path towards Turnback Cave.

Sera sighed again. If she lingered here, she was due for some sort of a headache. Her attention was thankfully diverted by Thorn's statements, and upon being addressed, she cast Thorn a glance, but gave an affirmative nod. Prioritizing was the wiser thing to do.

"The prototype idea was flawed from the start, anyway," she stated blandly to those in front of her. "Without a genuine manner of reproducing the power and strengths of the original, they are naturally weaker and less useful for any means we may have had for using them. So in a way, its destruction has confirmed my suspicion and we need not waste further time or resources on that project. Besides, if we were capable of reproducing that much power, it would have more practical applications than this."

She turned to leave, the Zoroark lingering and observing the others suspiciously, as if expecting one to attack while the woman's back was turned. After a moment, the Zoroark's form shimmered and it seemed to disappear entirely, only the faintest ripple in the air signified its existence, and even that disappeared. The Scizor released the Weavile unsympathetically, the black weasel glaring at him briefly before hurrying after Sera, and the armored bug followed at the rear.

Caden opened his eyes to a group of people talking around him. He silently peered around the pole he was stumped against and saw a group of people preparing to enter a cave. As he was overhearing their talk, one word stood out to him. "Draconius..." he thought, recalling his talk with Nathan. He quickly took out his Pokenav and made a call to Nathan. "Nathan...emergency!" he whispered. "Get back to Grakus Isle and come to the place labeled Turnback Cave" he continued swiftly before hanging up.

"I don't care if Nathan doesn't want me to get involved; I have to protect everyone..." he thought, taking a deep breath. Then, he rammed around the pole and calmly approached the stranger. "Don't... move..." Caden said, emotionlessly, taking out a Pokeball. "Milotic, let's go!" he declared, hurling it into the air. The sphere opened up to reveal a flash of white light. When the light disappeared, a serpent-like Pokemon was revealed.

"Ah! Caden!" Rose called out, extending his hand. "Ugh...I don't care what he says. Atrus, are you coming?" Rose turned around and raised an eyebrow. Before Atrus could respond, however, Rose was already reaching into his pocket. "C'mon out, Lapras!" Rose tossed the ball into the air and Lapras came forth in a burst of blue-white light. "Laaaaa!~♪"
Rose hopped onto Rose's back and grabbed ahold of one of the knobs on her shell. "Lapras, use Surf!" Rose said, pointing the direction Caden went.
A puddle of water began forming under Lapras, and the volume of water quickly increased thereafter. Finally, Lapras started jetting across the ground, propelled by a steady stream of water.

*~♪~♪~*

Rose and Lampent now proceeded side-by-side across the barren fields of Graklus Isle. "Hey, Lampent, you find anything yet?"
Lampent shook his head from side to side, then resumed the task of using Psychic to observe their surroundings.
Rose sighed. "Well, we've gotta find Caden..."
Suddenly, Lampent tapped furiously on Rose's shoulder, and pointed over the horizon, toward the mountains.
"Huh? I don't see anything..."
Lampent, obviously annoyed, wrapped his arms around Rose's head and used Psychic.
Suddenly, Rose saw exactly what Lampent saw. There was a figure off in the distance with a Pokémon floating alongside them. Then, his vision abruptly shifting, he saw a person and a large, serpent-like Pokémon...
"Caden and Milotic! C'mon, Lampent, let's hurry!"

— — —

Nathan picked up his Pokénav and listened to Caden's urgent message. "Dammit, Caden! Ugh...Staraptor, turn back around! We're heading to the mountains on Graklus Isle." The Predator Pokémon nodded and turned about-face, heading back toward the location they left from.
"Caden...I thought I warned you about this..."

Thorn stopped. Someone had been there, and had overheard her ranting the plans. Dammit. She never was all that bright, since most of her time had been spent getting bullied.
The stranger sent out a Milotic. It was surprising that they had a clash in Pokemon, but it wasn't surprising, also.
"You wanna battle? You don't know what you're getting yourself into." Thorn declared, reaching for a Pokeball herself. "Go, Milotic!"
The same serpentine creature as Caden's appeared, shining. Attached to it's tail was a rainbow ribbon, gleaming in the light.
"You really want to do this? It's a bad idea. You'll simply hurt yourself and those around you." Thorn stated, at the same time seemingly fiddling with her hair. In actuallity, she was fiddling with a head piece, with a mic hidden by her bangs.
"Grunts of Thorn, come to Turnback Cave. We have an issue to take care of." she murmured into the device. She knew her grunts would be here soon. As and armored tank and a distraction.
"Milotic, use Water Sprout!" Thorn commanded suddenly. Her Milotic spun in a circle, a funnel of air appearing around it. It twisted, and the twister started heading towards Caden's Miltotic. Then Milotic shot a Water Gun at the Twister, turning it into what resembled a Whirlpool in many ways. This headed speedily towards Caden's Milotic.

*~*~*~*

Ashmin watched as suddenly everyone up and left. It seemed Caden just flying away was a bad thing. She ran off in the same direction, heading for where the others were. Hopefully.

Caden didn't flinch at the sight of the opposing Milotic. "Milotic, Dragonmetal Shower..." he called. Milotic prepared it's Iron Tail, then proceeded to fire of A blue Dragon Pulse at it. Shards of silver and blue shot out against the whirlpool-like attack. The two attacks collided, resulting in nothing but a small explosion. " Milotic, Blizzard Tornado!" Caden commanded, as Milotic released a giant twister. He continued to fire a Blizzard attack within the tornado, creating spikes of ice which protruded and shot out the sides of the vortex.

"Well that went off a little more lightly than I was expecting," Coral muttered to herself, before turning to her lackeys, specifically Moby, "Our next destination is Magma Forest. Assuming that prototype was anything to go by, the real Reshiram shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Let's just hope it isn't too sunny today, otherwise we're pretty much screwed."

With that the three of them left. It would only be a matter of time before Reshiram would be acquired.

Juan Monsignor

Unaware that Thorn and Caden were already there, Juan decided to head back home to Graklus Isle, the better to check up on how it was doing. Of course, he had to collect his things first, and recover his Pokemon from the fight with Ash. After that, he summoned his Hydreigon, and had it fly to Graklus Isle, only to drop him off right at the front door of his house. Juan then checked up on the population, which of course was doing just fine, before thinking about going to Turnback Cave.

'Suppose I better check up on Giratina, too,' he mused, before deciding to travel that way anyway.

Thron frowned. A different combo. She would possibly be able to use it in future battles.
"Safeguard!" Thorn commanded. It was an odd choice of move, rather than dodging or some use of Protect, but Thorn prefered it. And she'd rather not have one of her aces frozen solid from a louzy Blizzard.
Milotic glowed, and turned a shade of turqouise, it's color for the move. The Blizzard Tornado slammed into it, but it looked unfazed. Perhaps it's eyes showed a flicker of pain, but it held through. It wasn't going to fail Thorn at any time soon. Except perhaps to a more talented trainer.
"Use Captivate." she said simply.
Milotic rose up, and adopted a sweet, gentle pose. A small pulse of energy radiated from her, a pulse that should affect Caden's Milotic. Which would leave it weaker. Which was good.

Caden raised an arm, preparing to move. "Milotic, counter with Haze!" Caden called, as his Milotic, like Thorn's Milotic, glowed a shade of turquoise. The energy pulse that approached Milotic bounced off the blue barrier, leaving Caden's Milotic at full power. "Milotic, follow up with Dragonic Stream!" Caden ordered as Milotic's tail started glowing again - but this time, rather than glowing silver, it glowed turquoise, signaling a Dragon Tail attack. Then, it proceeded to release yet another Dragon Pulse attack at its tail, this time creating a cyclone containing shards of different shades of blue.
"Now, what is it that you want with this place?" Caden asked his opponent, staring directly at her.

More damned combos. Was this guy a combo freak? Was his Milotic immune to Captivate? Surely that thing was Male. Thorn wasn't aware that it could be negated.
"Protect." Thorn said, somewhat bord with the flashy attacks Caden used.
Her Milotic glowed, and the Dragonic Steam vanished, not touching Milotic at all. She looked slightly exhausted but ok in any other way.
"The plans of Team Draconius remain secret from those not part of the glorious organization." she stated, not planning at any point to give out information. Even if she lost, she would simply get her grunts to throw out a Staraptor or something for her to escape on.
"Use Dragon Tail." she told Milotic. Her tail gleamed, and she leapt forward, ebfore tiwstiong gracefully so only her tail was in the line of fire. And on this Milotic, it's tail was strong. Probably stronger than one of her combos.

"I can't let Dragon Tail hit, or else Milotic will return to its Pokeball..." Caden thought as he decided his next move. "Should I counterattack with my own Dragon Tail? But...what if her Milotic happens to have Cute Charm as an ability?" he questioned himself. "Forget it...I'll counterattack my own way" he decided, raising his arm again. "Milotic, use Dragonfire Shield!" Caden called. A glowing, blue orb raised around Milotic, showing an Aqua Ring attack. Then, from the inside of the sphere, Milotic fired several attacks, namely Dragon Pulse and Scald. As a result, the barrier surrounding it was now covered in blue and red flames.

"She's not like most trainers I battle" Caden thought, strategizing his next moves. "She's taking advantage of Milotic's defensive capabilities...but, there's an easy way to overcome that..." he thought as he prepared his next attack.

Her Milotic leapt back, it's Dragon Tail negated by the Dragonfire Shield
More damn combos. Why so many combos? What was wrong with an attack by itself?
Thorn frowned again, and glanced up in order to think. Then she noticed a shape gliding down behind Turnback Cave, with two figures jumping from it.
She smiled faintly. She had a good plan. Distract Caden, and play dirty.
In all her normal interests, she played fairly. But this was a serious this. Caden was a threat to Team Draconius. Of course, if he'd gone after Team Nebulus, it wouldn't have mattered so much. Such drastic measures wouldn't have to be taken so soon. But nothing could change what the fool had done.
"Milotic, use Water Gun!" she commanded. Her Milotic read the faint smile, and knew the game plan. She leaped forward, blowing jets of water from her mouth eratically, firing everywhere that Caden's Milotic could possibly go.

*~*~*~*~*

The grunts landed softly behind Turnback Cave, and crept forward. The smaller of the two went first, clearing a safe path to walk for her partner. Once they reached the corner of the cave, where they would almost be visible, the female halted.
"She battling again." the male murmured, stopping low. He was larger than his partner, and if he stood up straight he would be visible for miles.
"She has a plan, I bet." his partner murmured.
"I have a plan too. I tackle her opponent."
The girl nodded. Such a plan would be reckless, but it was wise at such a time. Ad long as nobody warned the opponent that he was about to get tackled, it was all good.
"Go then. Go fast. I'll keep the route of escape open for you and Violet-Rose."
The man smiled, and crouched low.

Ahead of them, Thorn had raised her hand as she commanded her Milotic. The signal the two grunts had been taught meant attack. It was only used when she knew they were there.

The man bolted, running as fast as his heavy build allowed, running straight at Caden. Then her jumped.

*~*~*~*~*

Ashmin panted, and slowed to a stop, trying to catch her breath. She may have been a fast runner, but that was a long run, even for her. She'd heard the sounds of battle, along with the sounds of that other guy's Lapras. She'd bolted from there, and was now seriously exhausted.

Ahead of her, the battle was continuing. Caden looked like her had in the previous battle: powerful. His opponent, however, seemed to radiate some sort of bad intentions, cloaked with a similar power.

A dark shape caught Ashmin's eye. Something, or someone, running speedily behind Caden. At Caden.

"WATCH OUT!" she yelled.

"Milotic, use-" Caden never finished his sentence. He heard a girl from somewhere behind him yell, and as he turned back to look, it was too late. Caden was rammed into by the stranger. He was pushed against the ground and pinned there, completely immobilized. Caden grunted in pain, then struggled to raise his head. All he could see was his opponent smiling what looked like an evil grin. "You..." he began, glaring at the woman. At that moment, he felt a searing pain in his head, then passed out for just a second.

***
"I am Jirachi..." a voice called out to him. "And I come to you bearing something very important" the voice continued. "I need you to protect something for me. Now tell me, what is your name?" it asked.

Not realizing what had happened, Caden was now standing face-to-face with....what looked like a cocoon. And it was talking to him. Regardless, Caden had instinctively responded "Caden Azure". He looked at the strange figure, trying to make out what it was. He had heard of the legendary Pokemon Jirachi before, but had not imagined it to look like this.

"Caden...Azure? Very well. When you return to your world, be sure not to lose this" the voice said, a little light protruding from the cocoon-like thing. The light moved closer to Caden and...went inside of him. Caden looked confused at what had just happened, before the space he was in had started to distort...

***
With that, Caden opened his eyes, but found that nothing had changed, and he was still restrained by the man.

Thorn smiled. Her grunts had done well. Perfect execution of a spur-of-the-moment plan.
"Prop him up against something!" she snapped. "And keep his Milotic from coming to his aid. It only needs to be a quick fix. Only a few minutes."
She flung a Pokeball into the air, another Pokemon appeared. Its four wings hummed, barely audible. It was a stealth weapon, usually. But, in this case, it was a death machine.

The second grunt leapt forward and propper Caden up near the entrance of Turnback Cave. The male grunt brought out a Servine, who proceeded to use Vine Whip on Milotic.

"You've become a threat to Team Draconius." Thorn told Caden. "We don't allow threats to become to... threatening. No, we erase these threats while we have the oppurtunity."

"That oppurtunity is now. Crobat, use Poison Fang on this stupid kid."
Crobat's fangs glowed a menacing purple, a glowing shade of its own body, and lunged at Caden's neck.

Caden was forced upon the wall, still unable to move. When the woman had sent out her Crobat, Caden knew that it would be over soon. The Crobat came approaching him at an unusually fast speed - at first, he had expected a short and painful sting to be all it took, but he soon found out that this was not the case. His eyes widened, and he gave a short whelp, which was all he could manage, before the purple bat had pierced its fangs into his neck.
However, the Crobat did not extract its fangs - no, they continued to do their "job". He could feel his blood leaving him. A large, red wound on his neck opened up, blood trickling down his neck, onto the ground. Caden closed his eyes; his surroundings had become a blur.

(OOC note: I know Atrus seems a little off in his reaction, but hey, that's how I've designed the character.)

An Ice Beam fired, passing behind the Crobat by a fraction of an inch, enough to send chills down the poisonuous Pokemon's spine (If there was one to send chills down). A ways over on Caden's left was Atrus, with a Galceon next to him, battle-posed and prepared for a fight. "As much as the death of a main protagonist makes or an incredibly interesting and unexpected plot twist, and thus an even more incredible story, murder is just something that isn't on my list of 'Things I allow'." Atrus commented, letting out a sigh. He flashed his eyes open, his irises now colored in the same brilliant shade of Cyan from before. He was now making direct eye-contact with his opposer. "Let the kid go." He began, tilting his head back. He glanced at his Glaceon, which fired off another Ice Beam, crossing through the Crobat's wings. "Next beam hits the mark. And believe me when I say that I've raised my Pokemon to their peaks. When it hits, it hits hard." He finished, maintaining his eye-contact.

Thorn sighed theatrically.
"So many interruptions. A girl cannot get a mission done in peace, can she?" she said.
She turned to Atrus. "One, deaths of main protagonists or a main character of some sort is cliched. Two, I'm not releasing the boy. It wouldn't make a difference, if you knew EXACTLY what poison now courses through his veins. Resistence on either side would merely speed up the eventual demise. But, if you insist on being a nuisance..." She grabbed on of her pokeballs, and tossed it up. A horse appeared, manes alight with flames.

"You probably do insist, so I may as well start what you want to begin! Rapidash, use Flamethrower!"

The horse drew a deep breath, and exhaled a torrent of fire that was sent speeding directly towards Atrus' Glaceon.

"Cliched? Oh, quite. But it still makes for a rather interesting Plot-Twist, just so long as the character stays dead." Atrus responded. His eyes flashed for a moment. "Glaceon, Dig to avoid it." Atrus commanded. Glaceon nodded, jumping into the air and furiosly burrowing underground. Atrus side-stepped the Flamethrower as it passed, slightly singeing his coat. "Regardless, you seem to know a little about writing. Maybe we can sit down, have a nice chat some time." He said, grinning to himself. "Now then, I suppose I'll need something else to deal with this Crobat, no? Alright then, I'll stick with my partner. Pikachu, , go ahead my friend." Atrus tossed one of his own Pokeballs into the air. It exploded with a wave of small, rainbow-colored, flashing spheres that quickly faded as the electrical mouse landed gently in front of Atrus. "Ah, Cherish Balls. Always add a little bit of darmatic flare to a story. My friend, hit the bat with your signature." Atrus mused, as the Pikachu nodded in response. It fired off an enormous discharge of electricity, aimed straight towards the Crobat that was clinging to Caden's neck.

"Weren't you listening before? I would think as a travelling writer you would note what your opponent says." Thorn glanced at the Pikachu's attack, somewhat unconcerned.
Her Crobat was struck, and lunged away, hissing the remains of blood and poison in Pikachu's direction. Thorn returned it, and sighed.
"That was a bad idea. Crobat was actually staunching the bleeding. Now, rather than dying mostly by poison, this boy will die of major blood loss as well." she sighed again. "A shame. A real shame."
"Also, I should mention, a dramatic flare used repeatedly loses the dramatic effect. But discussing such matters is not a priority at this point."
"In any case... Rapidash, use Flamethrower down the Glaceon's hole." she commanded. The horse leapt forward, another torrent billowing from it's mouth into the hole left by Dig.

LEONARD

As Leonard walked toward the Magma Forest, he realized he might end up doing a lot of training in this area. There will be a lot of Pokemon here, but he knew that in order to find this Barren Coloseum, he had to work hard. And so he ran off into Magma Forest, which he reached quite quickly. When he got in, he encountered many wild Pokemon, many of which amused him. He found many Magmar, Charmander, and Slugma, but none of which he felt as if he truly wanted them. So he moved on through the forest, desperate to find the barren Colosseum. He encountered one Numel, in which he battled and caused Mantyke to evolve into a Mantine, which would greatly help him in his way back from this place.

SYLVIA

Sylvia, in Grakius Isle, began to train her three Pokemon. She started with her Mudkip, which knew very few moves. She went into the wild and trained its moves to increase in power: moves such as Water Gun and Mud Bomb. She then used Chikorita, and trained Razor Leaf and Vine Whip. Finally, she trained her Scyther to learn better versions of Bug Bite and X-Scissors.
