~Kip~
It was the next morning, and Leonard was ready to face the gym leader of Terramean City. he got up, grabbed his 3 PokeBalls, and sent out all 3 Pokemon, as he ran into the gym excitedly. "I challenge the gym leader of this gym!" And before they knew it, the battle had begun. the Gym leader had sent out his Sudowoodo, and Leonard sent out his Bulbasaur. "Bulbasaur, use Razor Leaf!" called Leonard, as many razor-sharp leaves were hurled at Sudowoodo. * * * * * * * "Larvitar, finish Lairon with Rock throw!" Lairon was quite weak, but it had been the Pokemon to knock out both Bulbasaur and Pidgey, and nearly Larvitar. But now, it was over. Lairon was too weak to avoid the giant rock being hurled at it, and the impact was enough to knock it out. The Gym leader and Leonard both returned their Pokemon, the Gym Leader walked over to Leonard, and handed him the Geo badge. Leonard was so excited, that he thanked the Gym Leader, then ran out the door. He rested his Pokemon at the Pokemon Center, for the next journey would be across the longest bridge in Cygrus, Levia Bridge.
~British Soul~
As Silver arrived in Gradnis Village he noticed that it was smaller than Greenvine Town, but as he had planned he went to the pokemon center to heal his pokemon up. As he was waiting, he overheard a conversation that was about the Gym Leader, "Shibi's Leafeon is soo cute, i want one." one of the Girls said to another. "Soo.. the Gym Leader uses Grass-types huh? at least i know what to expect." Silver mumbled to himself as the ding dong was heard signalling that his pokemon were fully healed. The nurse Joy asked if he was going to take on the Gradnis Gym, Silver nodded as he gracefully took his pokeballs and slowly made his way out of the pokemon center in courtesy. A short 15 minute walk later Silver had reached the gym, he was feeling nervous as it was his first gym battle in so long, and self-consciously he got out his pokegear and dialed a random number, on the other line was Professor Elm, who was happy to hear from him "Silver! how nice to hear from you." Elm said with a smile on his face "It certainly is." Silver replied with such confidence "I'm about to challenge the Gradnis Gym, however i was feeling nervous." "It's ok to feel nervous Silver, anyway what was the purpose of your call?" Elm asked Silver took a few seconds to think of a reply "I'm sorry it was totally a self-conscious act and i needed someone to talk to." Elm nodded his head and raised a smile before ending the call "Oh, ok then. Thanks for the call, see you later." And just like that the call had ended and Silver felt as confident as ever, and entered the Gradnis Gym. Inside was a forest maze, Silver thought in his head "Oh great, another forest, and why did it have to be a maze, i hate mazes." but despite his thoughts Silver knew he had to traverse the puzzle tpo get to the Gym Leader. About 30 minutes later, Silver reached the exit and the battlefield, but he couldn't see the Gym Leader so Silver shoted in a mild tone "I'm here to challenge you Shibi!" "Very well challenger!" said Shibi who jumped out from behind a convenient bush along with the Ref. "The Gym battle between Silver from New Bark Town and Shibi the Gym Leader will now begin. Each side will use 3 pokemon and the battle will be over when all 3 pokemon on either side are unable to continue. In addition, only the challenger may substitute pokemon, now begin!" Declared the ref signalling the start of the battle. Shibi got out one of her pokeballs, ready for battle and pointing it at Silver, who reached for one of his pokemon too. "Go Grovyle!" Shibi shouted, "Totodile get out there!" Silver shouted back. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ It was all down to this, both Shibi and Silver were down to their last pokemon, Shibi's Leafeon was too much for Larvesta and now Silver looked at his last pokemon with his back against the wall "I'm counting on you little buddy, now Starly get out there!" Starly was feeling pumped and ready for action. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ It had been a closely fought battle between both Leafeon and Starly, Wing attacks here and Energy Balls there, and both pokemon looked as if they reached their limit, and both trainers sensed this, Silver had a fire in his eyes and so did Shibi, so both trainers felt it was time to go for broke. "Leafeon, finish him with your Leaf Blade!" Shibi commanded "Starly, go for broke and use Aerial Ace head on!" Silver commanded back as both pokemon leapt at each other at full power neither side backing down, then as both attacks collided... An small smoky explosion occured, shocking both trainers as neither one knew what the result was gonna be, then as the smoke cleared both pokemon was still standing, however both of them were panting and breathing hard, it was like 2 life long rivals settling their final score, both trainers grinned at each as they knew it was over, then in a sudden turn of events, Leafeon had collapsed to the ground. Silver was shocked at this as the ref officially declared, "Leafeon is unable to battle, Starly is the winner and the winner is Silver of New Bark Town." Silver's face lit up almost to the point that he could hug Starly, then as Starly flew into his arms, a blue light had surrounded Starly, this surprised both Silver and Shibi, but it was a good surprise then as the blue light faded, the Starly had evolved into Staravia. Shibi congratulated both Silver and Staravia as he gave Silver his Seed Badge, Silver accepted it, but did not need to do an over the top pose, he took a bow and then left. About 30 minutes later Silver had left the Gym and headed back to the pokemon center to heal his pokemon and to stay there overnight as it was a long excursion to get to Gradnis Town and he was feeling a bit tired. Dharc
Rose had gotten up in the middle of the night, feeling fully-rested, and went down to the first floor of the Pokémon Centre. There, he saw a boy trying to communicate with a Nidorino, but the Pokémon wasn't listening. "Excuse me? It seems to me that you are having some trouble with that Nidorino there...Mind if I ask what the problem is?" The boy, who appeared to be just barely ten years old, looked up at Rose. "Nidorino doesn't want to listen to me...He just keeps doing what he feels like..." Rose pondered for a moment. "Hmm...Well, how about we have a little practice battle out back, to see what we can work on?" The boy frowned. "I don't think that's gonna work, but whatever..." *~♪~♪~* "Aron, let's finish this! Bulldoze!" Aron slammed his forelimbs on the ground, sending a shockwave across the Pokémon Centre battlefield. The shockwave reached Nidorino, causing him to fall over and faint. "Ah! Nidorino!" The boy rushed over to the Nidorino and tried to pick him up, but Nidorino bit his hand. "It looks like Nidorino just wants to fight constantly and go headfirst into every battle, but you want him to be safe and protect him..." Rose mused. The Nidorino looked up at him. It was a look that signified that Rose had said exactly what he had always felt. "So, why did you want to be a trainer in the first place?" Rose asked, turning toward the kid. "Huh? Oh, well, I just wanted a Pokémon so I'd be popular in school...I'm not really a big fan of battling..." Rose understood the scenario fully now. "Tell you what...My Aron here isn't exactly a battler; instead, he prefers to be pampered and treated like a pet, which is what I think you want to do. And your Nidorino has an intense fighting spirit, something that I would need if I want to become a better trainer, one who can someday surpass my rivals and all of the Gym Leaders of the Cygrus Region. So I'll tell you what—How about a trade? My Aron for your Nidorino. Does that sound good?" The boy looked up at Rose and smiled. "Really?" Rose nodded and smiled back *~♪~♪~* Rose sat on the beach near the Levia Bridge, his Nidorino and Scraggy sparring together, while Treecko played and splashed in the water, with Lampent hovering watchfully above her. Rose began to smile at his team, and he thought about who they were and where they all came from. Lampent—My first Pokémon; calm, collected, intelligent, powerful. He's my partner to the end, and the exact opposite of the rest of my team. Scraggy—A little Pokémon in a world of big bullies. He had to result to doing things he didn't want to to be respected by anyone. Now, he fights with a burning passion, doing his best to prove that he can overcome the oppression he dealt with in the past. Treecko—Just a baby; she hsan't battled anyone yet, and it'll take some time to get her ready for that...But she'll do great things one day, and we can all help her get there in our own way... Nidorino—A hothead, no doubt about that. He feels like he hsa so much to prove, and so much power to gain....But why? I think I'm going to have to look into that. Rose smiled after he thought through these musings, and decided to lie back down on the sand. Tomorrow was gonna be a big day, just full of surprises. And it'd be getting him one step closer to his goals—Competing in the Evraflow Conference, and battling Caden again.
Zextra
Early the next morning, Caden was off again. He gave a yawn as he dressed himself. Then, he went to the corner of the room and gave a call to someone. As soon as the call was finished, he packed his things into his bag and left the trainer dorms. He stopped by the front desk of the Pokemon Center to pick up his Pokemon, thanked Nurse Joy, and left. "Well, following Terramean is..." he mumbled as he checked the map on the side of the road. "Levia Bridge" he said aloud, continuing down the road out of Terramean City. On his way to Levia Bridge, Caden overheard many people discussing the bridge's popular new Cycling Road addition. "Too bad sending over a bike isn't as simple as transferring over a Pokemon" he thought, sighing at the thought of crossing the bridge by foot. He flipped open his Pokedex and groaned upon seeing what it read: "Levia Bridge - 10 miles in length; typical crossing time by foot: 200 minutes" "Well, it looks like I won't get to the other side until noon" he noted as he started onto the bridge. Dharc
Rose awoke in the early morning. He didn't remember falling asleep, nor could he recall the point in time when his Pokémon all curled up next to him. It was a bit touching, but a bit odd as well. He hardly had any sort of bond with Nidorino, but there he was, acting as Rose's pillow. "Hey, guys, I think we better get a move on! We don't want to start slacking off and have Caden beat us again, right?" "Lampent!" "Scraggy!" Nidorino roared in excitement. Even though Nidorino hadn't been there for the first battle, he was definitely willing to prove his strength. Treecko merely climbed onto Rose's shoulders and began sleeping once more. "Well then. How about we all just walk across the Levia Bridge? You guys seem full of energy, and I think it'd be better to walk then just take the tram!" Rose didn't bother returning any of his Pokémon aside from Treecko (he was worried about her getting blown off by the wind). And with that, they were off. *~♪~♪~* After a little bit of walking on the vast bridge, Rose noticed a familiar figure. "Hey, Caden! Long time no see!" Rose ran to catch up with his newfound rival. Lampent and Nidorino matched his speed with ease, but Scraggy had a bit of difficulty catching up, having to constantly pull up his "pants". "Sorry, Scraggy." Rose turned back to Caden. "So, looks like we're headed in the same direction again, eh? Now, I have a question for you—Why did you decide to take the long route, as opposed to taking the tram along the bottom of the bridge or riding Milotic across the water?" Zextra
As Caden was walking his first mile on the bridge, he was approached again by Rose. "Actually, I'm supposed to meet someone up here today" Caden explained, turning back to Rose. "Also, I get my exercise this way" he said, rolling his eyes. "But if he doesn't show up..." he thought, annoyed. "But anyways, do you have a strategy for the next Gym?" he asked Rose, looking down at all Rose's Pokemon. "And a Nidorino...I see you've got someone new on your team" he said, expressing an interest in the [s]horny[/s], purple Pokemon. "I remember fighting several of those throughout my journey" Caden thought, recalling his past battles.
Dharc
"Actually, I don't, really," Rose said, disappointedly. "I was just thinking of abusing Lampent's Flash Fire ability, since it's a Fire Gym. Also, since they're supposed to sell stones around there, I thought I'd maybe evolve Nidorino into a Nidoking and teach him Earth Power. Either way, Nidorino's gonna be a big help from now on, due to his diverse moveset." Nidorino agreed enthusiastically. "Plus, I thought I might catch a Water-type near the shore. But who knows. I'll play the hand I'm dealt." Rose looked down at the water, and he saw a Gyarados rear up and dive back down into the water. Hmm...Maybe I need a Pokémon that can specifically counter Milotic...But what Pokémon could sufficiently match the power and grace of Milotic? Not a Gyarados...Maybe a Lapras? "So, do you have a strategy? And do you have anybody other than the Sigilyph and Milotic you beat me with?" CrystalCyae
Ryn mumbled something under her breath as Houndour snarled at her. It wasn't a move she was dreadfully familar with. She didn't know how to combat it's effects. Ashmin was already thinking quickly on her next moves. "Ryn, use Quick Attack!" she commanded. Ryn nodded, and sprinted forward. She could hear the very faint words Ashmin had said after her command; "Zig zig and backward" Her whispered commands could be cryptic, but this one was easy for even Ryn to understand. So she started darting from side to side, all the while still heading for Houndour.
Premier Alexander Romanov
The Houndour attempted to keep track of the speedy Cyndaquil, but it quickly became addled, allowing the smaller monster to easily slam into larger quadrupedal fire-breathing canine. Manos gritted his teeth. "Hey, kid! What's with da mumblin'? You tryin' ta remember how ta battle or somethin'?" He asked. "Cuz it seems like ya need a couple o' pointers. However, since it would be kinda stupid for me ta' give advice in ta middle of a battle, I'll withhold dis info, and continue my attack!" It appeared as if Ryn's opponent enjoyed hearing himself talk. "Now, Houndour, Fire Spin!" The canine charged up another attack involving a ring of fire, and launched it at the Cyndaquil. CrystalCyae
"Ryn, Flamethrower it!" Ashmin snapped. Ryn did as commanded, fighting fire with fire. Only at that moment did Ashmin realise this left Ryn unguarded. But she trusted her Cyndaquil to be able to snap back. Hopefully. "For your information, I didn't mumble. And I know perfectly well how to battle. Afterall, I fought through the whole league of Johto!" she snapped. Ryn took a deep breath, in order to continue shooting fire, and some of the Fire Spin hit her. She slid back a metre, and frowned. "Damn you!" she squeaked, though to all humans watching, it sounded more like "Rynda QUIL!" Ashmin flinched. She never liked it when her Pokemon got hurt. But she knew surrender wasn't an option. And Ryn knew that also. "Ryn, Quick Attack again!" Straight. Forward. Ryn leapt forward again.
~Kip~
Leonard awoke extremely late, so it was already night time. He ran to Levia Bridge, almost forgetting his Pokeballs. He ran until he was on one side of the bridge, about to head to the other. he began to walk across the 10-mile long bridge. he stopped once and a while to see a few sights. But the most important sight was a giant Dragon-Type Pokemon in the air, a Dragonite. It swooped down, and grabbed Bulbasaur and Larvitar, for Pidgey had dodged the swoop. It flew after the Dragonite, and had used Wing Attack; the move however was too weak to effect the Dragonite. Pidgey knew it had to do something, but it did not know what. it was worried, as it watched its fellow Pokemon being carried away. It glowed with a white aura, and then began to change in shape. It grew into a Pidgeotto, which was a bigger, more majestic bird. It flew up to the Dragonite, and hit its wing with many Peck Attacks. this sent it lopsided, and it fell into the water. Pidgeotto returned with Bulbasaur and Larvitar. Later on the Bridge, Leonard noticed the cutest thing: a Mantyke, swimming in circles in the water. but something was off about this Mantyke, it was a darker shade of blue than normal mantykes. then a thought came to Leonard's head. It must be a shiny Pokemon! Leonard quickly ordered his newly caught Pidgeotto to use Wing Attack, which did quite a bit of damage to the Mantyke. the mantyke had countered with a Water gun. * * * * * * "Go, PokeBall!" yelled Leonard, throwign a pokeBall at the weakened Shiny Mantyke. After three shakes of the ball, it was caught, and leonard picked up the ball and moved in through the bridge.
evilfusion
Conflict. The struggle for dominance. Yet beneath it all, the excitement and thrill of challenge. Two humans stood opposite each other, observing the combatants in the middle with fierce, determined stares of varied intensities. In the center, a brown mammalian Pokemon stood, its face concealed by a bone mask, grunting a little as she forced a club of bone against the forehead of the equally aggressive blue-green quadruped with a green bulb on its back. "Bulbasaur, use a Vine Whip!" the opposing human commanded desperately. "Headbutt while it obeys," Kevin stated in a tone that seemed almost empty of emotion. The Cubone understood almost immediately and slammed her head against the Bulbasaur during the momentary pause when the grass-type's attention was on its trainer. The Bulbasaur staggered back, growling underneath its breath, but the Cubone twirled its bone club rapidly in its paw and drove the butt of the club into the Bulbasaur's chin, dazing it. "Wait!" the opposing trainer yelled, seeing the Cubone winding up for a finishing blow. Kevin didn't react, but Mara mercifully stopped her club a hair's breadth from the Bulbasaur's snout, her eyes showing a flicker of a smirk that its masked face would not express. The Bulbasaur cowered, letting out a sigh of relief when the attack halted. The opposing trainer hurried over to his Pokemon and backed themselves away from the Cubone. "Wow...you trained it well," the opponent said, wiping his brow. "Nice job." "Thank you," Kevin said, a touch stiffly, and with a pat of his hand on Mara's bone mask, he walked past the two, the Cubone walking alongside him. He had no Pokeball to contain her, and preferred her company more than carrying a Pokeball. Technically, she wasn't even strictly his, but a Pokemon he had befriended and allowed his 'commands'. Why had they come to this region? The only real answer was Kevin wanted to bond with as many Pokemon as possible, and what better way to leave the shadows of his past viewpoints than traveling somewhere entirely foreign? His only regret was he had absolutely no idea where he was. A shame that the region map was so expensive...
Zextra
"I do more analyzing on the spot, so I'm not too worried about a specific strategy" Caden replied. "And as for my Pokemon, I have more" he grinned, extracting two Pokeballs from his bag. However, before he was able to release the two Pokemon, Caden's Pokenav gave a soft beep, signaling a new message. He checked it, and viewed a message. "Great...he did cancel after all" he sighed, looking down at the ocean. "Well that was some valuable time wasted" Caden thought, annoyed. He looked back at Rose and tossed him a Pokeball. "Hey, Rose, I'm going to take a shortcut. You coming?" he asked, removing another Pokeball from his bag. He stepped onto the edge railing of the bridge and jumped off in a diving position. As Caden neared the sea, he chucked the Pokeball into the water. In a white flash of light, Milotic emerged right in position to catch him. Milotic swam through the ocean towards Flamvius Town. In less than ten minutes, the two of them reached the shore of Flamvius Town. "Thanks, Milotic; that was fun" he said as he stroked Milotic's scales before returnIng it to it's Pokeball. Dharc
Rose was confused—He had just been handed a Pokéball, and he had no idea what it contained. Then, Caden plummeted off of the side of the bridge onto his Milotic and shot across the water. "Uh, wait! I don't—" Then, Rose looked at the Pokéball. He tossed it, and a Gyarados popped out and dove into the water. "WHOA! Sweet!" Rose jumped onto the Atrocious Pokémon, and it let out a roar. They too reached the shore rather quickly, only a few seconds behind Caden. "Wow...That was great, thanks Caden!" Rose exclaimed, returning the Pokémon to his ball. "But say, do you mind if I borrow Gyarados for a little while? I mean, at least until my Gym Battle here is over?" As Rose said this,he realized all too dreadfully (and somewhat humorously) that he had left ALL of his Pokémon back on the bridge. "Oh geez...Gyarados, come back out please!" Gyarados emerged from a burst of white light with a roar. "Can you go back and get the other Pokémon for me, back on the Levia Bridge? It'll be much appreciated." The Pokémon nodded, and he started swimming back to the bridge.
~British Soul~
Silver woke up early the next morning knowing that it was goning to be a long day. He checked his town map to find out where he needed to go next. "Hmmm, so the next area for me to go to is Terramean City, it's just beyond the Alvium Desert." Silver stopped and thought about this "If i'm going to go into a desert i must put on my Gogo Goggles for protection." After getting ready to go, Silver left the Gradnis pokemon centerand as he done so, one of the young boys of Gradnis challenged him to a battle, "Hey you! got time for a battle?" "Ok then, Shinx get out there!" Silver replied to the kid who sent out Lillipup. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "Shinx, use Spark!" Silver shouted "Lillipup, Take Down!" the kid called back thinking that his attack was going to be more powerful than Shinx's attack, it was only when the 2 attacks collided when they knew who was more powerful, an explosion occured and when the smoke cleard, Shinx was still standing, rendering Silver the winner. He congratulated the loser as he was raised to do, and then gave a thumbs up as he left for the Alluvium Desert. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ An hour later, Silver had reached the foot of the desert, "Time for the Gogo Goggles." Silver stated as he reached for his Gogo Goggles in his bags and put them on as he walked into the sandstorm.
Zextra
"Sure, I don't see why not" Caden answered as Gyarados returned to the shore with Rose's Pokemon. "Well, now that that's over, I think we should get to the Gym - we don't want to fall behind anyone, right?" Caden stated as he began walking to the Flamvius mainland. He looked down to check the time, which was 10:23. "Great - at this rate, I can check out that cave later" Caden thought, looking across the water, spotting a black spot in a mound of rock not far from them. Zextra
As they were walking to Flamvius Gym, they passed by the Flamvius market, where Caden noticed a strange, flamboyant man selling his goods while signing autographs. He grinned. "Well, I was going to...but perhaps a Gym Battle can wait" he muttered as he walked over to the "clerk". "Did I hear correctly that you're one of this region's Elite 4?" Caden asked, giving a slight smirk. "My name is Caden Azure of Sootopolis City" he said quietly as he gave a slight bow of respect. "Would you be interested in a battle, perhaps?" he asked, feeling a slight tremble of excitement for the first time in a while. Zextra
"I wouldn't want it any other way" Caden grinned, taking a Pokeball out of his back. "Heh...obviously Excadrill would be the ideal choice, but that would take out all the fun, now wouldn't it?" Caden thought as he hurled the Pokeball into the air. "Sigilyph, spotlight!" he called as the flying, one-eyed Pokemon emerged from the flash of white light. "Well then, I can't slip up here, can I?" he thought before raising his hand. "Sigilyph, start with a maximized Calm Mind!" he declared as a blue and white aura began circulating around Sigilyph. "Now I have to analyze him carefully before I call any combinations" he thought, looking up at the opposing Electivire.
Dharc
Judas smiled. "Heh. Eletcivire, Triquake!" Electivire jumped into the air with surprising agility. Suddenly, Electivire's left fist was cloaked in flames, while his right formed an icy bluish-white aura. Then, his entire body was surrounded by golden electricity, and he slammed into the ground at full force, both fists extended. The ground cracked beneath him, and suddenly, pillars of flame, ice, and lightning shot up from the ground in random places, causing many of the observers to scatter like Drifloon in a Hurricane. Soon, the pillars were setting shops ablaze and destroying display stands, and Rose had to take refuge inside Lampent's Protect to prevent from being killed himself. Judas, however, just stood there, smiling, watching the destruction unfold. This smile went beyond simple pleasure, though—This was a grin of sheer madness, and the thrill of chaos simply fueled its flames even more. Zextra
"That attack is a combination of Special and Physical moves...Fire Punch and Ice Punch, along with Earthquake contribute to its physical features, and the Thunderbolt used to cloak his body in electricity is Special. Therefore, there isn't a direct way to block that attack..." Caden thought as he watched the display of red, blue, and yellow, not noticing the destruction around them. "But, there is a way to minimize the damage" he grinned, preparing to make a move. "Sigilyph, Reflect! Then follow with Light Screen!" he called as Sigilyph raised up two clear, invisible barriers around itself. As the pillars appeared, Sigilyph appeared to be grazed by some, but shook off most of the damage. "By now, the Calm Minds Sigilyph has used have maximized its Special Attack as well as Special Defense - the Light Screen only raises it more; and the Reflect will slow the match down a bit so I can counterattack" Caden analyzed as he prepared a combination. "Sigilyph, it's time to strike back! Use Tri-Vortex!" Caden commanded as Sigilyph gave a nod. Sigilyph flew up above Electivire, then fire off 3 attacks in a triangle formation: Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, and Ice Beam. The three attacks hit in a triangle, creating an explosion aimed at Electivire's base. The shards from the attacks created a blinding mix of shadowy purple, neon green, and bright blue. "Now, Sigilyph! Psychic!" Sigilyph's eyes flashed blue and so did the three attacks. The 3 blobs of energy melded together to form a giant vortex. "Now, release the vortex!" Caden commanded, and the huge whirlpool of energy crashed down towards Electivire.
Dharc
A manic and deranged expression twisted Judas's face. "Electivire! Substitute!" There was a brief burst of white smoke before the vortex of energy crashed down around Electivire...Or did it? As the vortex crushed the ground where Electivire had once been standing into oblivion, the Pokémon itself was safely on top of a pile of rubble that had once been a food vendor's stand. "Good! Now, Boost!" Electivire's twin tails coiled around his horns and began to glow an intense white before becoming metallic-silver in coloration. Then, a massive amount of electricity enveloped Electivire's body, further decimating the heap of bricks and wood he was on top of. Then, the electricity died out, and Electivire uncoiled his tails. "Good! Now, use Wild Break!" Once again, Electivire was surrounded by an electric field. Then, Electivire seemingly disappeared, then reappeared in front of Sigilyph, swinging a glowing white hand in chopping motion at the Pokémon. "Thanks to Electivire's Motor Drive ability, by having him use Thunder on himself, his speed shot through the roof, so there is little chance of dodging this attack now! Plus, Brick Break will destroy both Light Screen and Reflect, and Wild Charge will do massive damage! It's. Game! OVER!!!!" Judas laughed with unparalleled madness, his veins popping out of his neck.
Zextra
"Enthusiasm has its limits" Caden muttered as the lightning-fast Electivire charged in for the kill. "But you, being an Elite 4 member, should know that there's a way around everything" he grinned, as he gestured for Sigilyph to move. "While this isn't exactly a contest combination, it'll sure be effective here..." Caden thought, raising his arm again. "Sigilyph, start with Psych Up!" he demanded - Upon hearing the call, both Sigilyph and Electivire became cloaked in a white light. By the time the light faded, Sigilyph was zipping across the field with speed equal to that of Electivire. "You see, Psych Up copies all your stat changes, so all the Speed you've gained through your Motor Drive ability is now mine as well" Caden explained. "But their speed is not equal...not in the least" he grinned as he gave a swift snap towards Sigilyph. "Sigilyph, continue with Tailwind!" he commanded, as Sigilyph's tail feathers started to vibrate rapidly. Instantly, Sigilyph became cloaked by another veil of light, amplifying its speed yet again. "Tailwind is a move that doubles my Pokemon's current Speed - in otherwords, Sigilyph is now twice as fast as Electivire, making it more than capable to counter your Brick Break!" Caden mused. "Now, Sigilyph, attack Electivire with Shadow Barrage!" he called, as Sigilyph created multiple Shadow Balls which were aimed towards Electivire. Suddenly, the shadowy blobs began to glow blue as Sigilyph unleashed a Psychic attack. The spheres were pulled apart into a net-shaped wall, which slammed down towards Electivire. Dharc
OOC: Woohoo! Post number 1000! I feel so great right now! "Child, you forget yourself!" Judas's expression shifted from one of exuberance to disgust in a split second. "Electivire, put this kid in his place! Sturm Brecher!!" Electivire began running at top speed, his arms trailing behind him and a white trail of light forming, signaling a Quick Attack. Then, Electivire was cloaked by a massive amount of electricity, and a spiraling purple aura surrounded him, denoting Wild Charge and Giga Impact, respectively. Next, Electivire's fists became cloaked in flames, but the fire soon reached all the way up to his shoulders. Finally, Electivire leapt through the vortex, lunging at Sigilyph with fists outstretched. "Now...RELEASE!" Electivre stopped dead, right in front of Sigilyph, and lightning, flames, and energy exploded outward, resulting in a white beam of destruction shooting toward the sky. Rose had to call out Gyarados to wrap around him and Lampent and use Protect, lest they be killed in the explosion. (Granted, the blast never reached them, but it was a safe precaution nonetheless.)
