John A. Zoidberg
Best grinding method for enchanting, speech, and smithing: Step 1: gather petty soul gems and fill them. Step 2: gather iron ore or ingots. Step 3: gather leather or leather straps. Step 4: craft as many iron daggers as possible. Step 5: enchant them all. Step 6: sell them. Rivenroth
I found it when I was exploring Blackreach, and the fletcher in Solitude usually has a bow with a weak banish effect once you hit level 25-ish
John A. Zoidberg
Oh, I've found the enchantment multiple times. Just some people can't be bothered to hunt for it when there are equally as successful means of enchantment.
Rivenroth
I suppose you have a good point. Well, if you're hurting for money then banish enchant is the way to go. On another note, for Alchemy, Giant's Toe + Wheat makes a potion that gives you a pretty good percentage of a level. So if you anyone needs to get their alchemy up, giant hunting is probably the best thing to do. The potions tend to have a strong effect as well, meaning that, for potions, you can sell them for a good price.

Anyway, I've always thought that Dual-Wielding > Two Handing, regardless of if it's swords or not.

John A. Zoidberg
The only good thing about Nords is their cold resistance. Otherwise they're meant to be more warriors and stuff. To choose a Nord and be a mage or something would just be lazy/too afraid. I <3 my dark elf mage a lot more than my Nord warrior, that's for sure. Same with my Breton Battle Mage. Rivenroth
The only races I would really consider playing are the Nords and Dark Elves because resistances. My current character is a DE because I tend to lose to fire more than anything ._. /dragonswheneveryoufasttravelanywhere Honestly, the only race I consider completely pointless, are the Wood Elves, unless they can do something special that I'm unaware of other than taming a wolf. And as far as picking races goes, it can mostly go towards personal preference. I know alot of people that pick their race based off of the looks rather than the racial abilities. Also... Icy
Currently using an Altmer Mage (and sticking to that), for Story Purposes. I recently became a citizen of Markarth, and rushed to level 20 using the Detect Life Spell so I could do just that. Since the Markarth house contains an apocrethary satchel (can hold ALL your ingredients) right there and a lot of stuff you need. Funny thing too, when I dumped all my ingredients in there my weight dropped 75. It also has a few weapons racks in nice areas, a mannequin or 2, and like 8 bookcases (it does it by the shelf in this one), and a couple dagger cases with a healthy amount of chests. Condensed and well sorted house with to my observation only 1 glitch and thats that my mannequin can't equip body armor. Worth every penny of that 13k. Well, on to the story for me now. Darkstorm9
Almost maxed out my Light Armor and one handed, can't wait to get that 25% chance paralyze perk with my enchanted sword with a small chance of paralyzing the enemy. Gonna try and get people to train me in Archery and sneak until they're good enough for me to actually get kills with them.

Although I don't really see races having a set "class" considering everything can level up the same, only some races start with some skills higher than others. However, I will forever see the Wood Elves as useless.
