Despite gathering so many fans they didn't make it a gajllion eps long. It would have been boring to see L and Light go on fighting for eternity, so I think they did a good job on that. I'm not a great Mecha fan at all, I just Like the original Gundam , Zeta Gundam and F91 (YES, I don't like, Ideon, Turn A, code Geass.SEED, SEED destiny, AGE......etc......)
