The guy obviously had a handicap on the opponent, the normal attacks don't deal that much damage.
I miss the story boss fights too, but I'm grateful they took the overworld aspect out, I wasn't looking forward to investing hours and hours playing through everything like in Storm 2 whereas it only took me one long sitting for Generations.

Generations Had to many Broken Characters.

1. PTS Kankuro
2. Masked Man
3. Danzo
4. Sage Naruto
5. Shippuden Naruto
6. PTS Tenten
7. Sakura
8. Kisame
9. Misukage
10. someone else with a loop or infinite lol.

Not all of these characters are god tier. Only a few are. The rest are for infinite tilt loops, Awakenings that do 1 combo whole bars of damage, and just other exploits the game had like grab loops and high prio ninjitsu.

Wow, and I thought Tekken and MK were the best fighters.
I was SO wrong...
I hate not having a real PS...
Um, but maybe there are any decent Naruto games for PS2, so I can try it on my emulator.
(PS1 aren't worth the time, most probably.)
Hmph...
[/quote] Ultimate ninja was Nah shizz. There is a Japanese game that was never realeased in america. I think it was ultimate accel or something.

I'll make you laugh.
I just downloaded a MUGEN from isohunt, called "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Mugen".
Normally, MUGENs are both (somewhat) worse and (slightly) better than the originals, in different areas.
Worse in graphics and move sets (typically also button mashing skills), better in (also typically) introducing a wider variety of characters.
(And it's FREE - the best part, after the fact that it's also EDITABLE by yourself.)
So, this one has around 180(!!!) characters, including many "doubles" like different age same chars, or different-tailed Narutos etc.
Though the total of names is still VERY impressive.
But what made it kinda cool - most chars have DIFFERENT button-set moves.
This I'd call a minus turned into a plus (poor and inconsistent fan-programming making the game much more diverse and hard to learn, also more FUN).
Some chars have really cool moves, even though they can be abused, but it's still fun.
Like, Zabuza can create a couple of water clones - who obviously do all of the beating by themselves!
Also, various characters have VERY various levels of power-per-move.
Eg. "Hinata Teen" can 64-palm your ass in a one-hit 64-combo, no jokes.
Or, I got my ass nailed by a Kage, when I tried to make a smart move on him - I went from 100% to 0% in about 10 seconds, without a chance to land a hit!
So, what I already like in that "primitive fan made game" (it's also true, but in my case, I'd prefer fun game play over nice graphics - cause I can't have those ANYWAYS), is DIVERSITY.
You never know, what your new char is capable of, even if you have some ideas based on its anime counterpart.
But still, the variety is really nice.

Now, to all MUGEN bashers who prefer nicely drawn PS3 level graphics (I do too, BUT)...
I don't have extra money to waste on expensive GAMES, so just that's it.

Have fun!

The VIDEOS are kinda really amazing - dunno about actual game play.
Unfortunately, same can be said about DBZ games - videos are way cooler then when you play yourself...
Well, I've played some cool-looking fights - even made a video of one:

But kinda had to make it nicer to watch, well, to hear actually:

Sorce for sound:

I'll stick to MUGEN for now, though...

Ummmm, just found a video for that MUGEN:

And yes, unfortunately, I can only dream about using these...
