Super Half Vamp Riku
Honestly, I think these guys are f***ing amazing. NOBODY today can beat there guitarists, Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance. There bassist plays the s*** out of that bass. And there former drummer, The Rev was the best of his generation. M. Shadows is some weird vocal child of Axl Rose and James Hetfield, but he makes it work. Best Album:Waking The Fallen. Poc
I can't stand M shadows, the sound of his vocals annoys me to no end. The rest of the band is ok.
Super Half Vamp Riku
Fair enough, except the rest isn't just okay. I think you're overlooking the instruments quite a bit dude. Get some instrumental tracks of some of there songs.
Poc
I liked there first few albums, honestly, now that The Rev is dead I lost interest in them. The songs he wrote were usually my favorites.
Super Half Vamp Riku
Yeah, I don't think A7X will ever reach the peak they were at with City Of Evil.
John A. Zoidberg
Meh. None of them are astoundingly good at their instruments. They write catchy stuff, and they have a bit of talent, but they're not 'top of the line' musicians. There are loads of people better than Syn. Loads. I agree with Poc in saying they're just okay. Nothing really interesting about them to me.
Super Half Vamp Riku
[sup]I know that there are loads of people better than Syn, I mean like in todays music world, in the metal world where bands around A7X's age are at. Syn is head and shoulders above EVERYBODY. [/sup]

Super Half Vamp Riku
Yes, I'll agree with you on that. But it pisses me off when people consider Black Veil Brides in the same league as avenged.
John A. Zoidberg
BVB just doesn't have an identity. They don't even know what genre they are themselves. One second they'll say "Oh, we're just a rock'n'roll band!" (which is deeply, deeply false), and the next they're claim to be heavy metal.
Tentacruel
They're just a good solid hard rock band.
Mr.Robot
Sound the seventh trumpet was decent while Waking the fallen was actually good for the metalcore scene back then and the rest was a big meh. They changed for the third album to a point where their music would be more accessible to what might say the mainstream audience which explain their overrated-ness and the hype behind the band. Tentacruel
Tbh the metalcore scene has enough bands in it. Their newer stuff, while being more mainstream is actually fairly unique.
gimmepie
Their stuff is quite good (though I admit I don't listen to them to much). Nightmare was a brilliant song.

SarcastiXDevil
First and currently the only band that I like in the genre of rock and whatnot, thanks to my sister. Sounding the Seventh Trumpet: Didn't listen to it, as my sister recommended me not to for the amount of metalcore in there. Waking the Fallen: Unholy Confession is okay. Second Heartbeat? Listening to it on and on and on now, especially the Live in LBC version. The rest? Metalcore (I guess?), can't take it. City of Evil: Meh, I only like the headliners like Bat Country, Seize the Day, and Beast and the Harlot. Self-titled: Afterlife is awesome, been listening it for a year now and hasn't been bored yet. Dear God hooked me up with the band (back when I was listening to Adam Lambert's song. I know, right?). A Little Piece of Heaven is awesome. Critical Acclaim is okay, I guess. Nightmare: Nightmare is superb. So Far Away is good, although I got bored to it pretty quick. God Hates Us leaves me wonder how I can like the song. The only songs I've yet to touch in this album is Danger Line and Natural Born Killer. Rant's over. I wanna say they're "The Best Band", but I don't listen to other bands with similar genre as Avenged Sevenfold, so, uh...
Tentacruel
There guitars are good but frankly there are tons of people who could play circles around them.
Cobax
well something tells me that Avenged sevenfold may change their music style like metallica almost heading to their alternative(St. Anger) rock ego and megadeth's punk ego(risk) but they may come back to their old style. EliminateHRN
I like Avenged Sevenfold. I wouldn't call them my favorite band, but their up there in the top 15-10. Even though I do like M. Shadows, Syn, Zacky, etc., I wouldn't call them the best at what they do. Waking the Fallen is by far the best album by them. It's one of the few albums I can sit and listen to the whole album through and through. My favorite song by them, Chapter Four, also comes from this album. City of Evil, self-titled, and Nightmare are all kinda the same level to me, I can't pick what I like the most out of those. I haven't heard Sounding the Seventh Trumpet yet. Yeah, good band. Byo Rakura
Waking the Fallen and City of Evil are my favourite albums, Nightmare is a great album but slightly cliche at some places and their self titled, and Sounding the Seventh Trumpet both have some good songs. M. Shadows' voice takes some getting used to, but it's easily recognisable, and while Syn, Zacky and Johnny aren't the best, they are very good. I think The Rev was the most talented member of the band though.
Daigusto Sphreez
I can't stand M shadows, the sound of his vocals annoys me to no end. The rest of the band is ok.
I agree, whilst they have talent to play at the level they do, he really does annoy me. Despite having a few catchy songs, its mostly just drony and the sad songs are the worst, I know death of a band member is a bombshell but spare me the whole album being about it. Archbaron Larry
A7X is one of my favorite bands at the moment. Even though I'm more of an alternative guy, and I usually hate heavy rock/metal, I really love their music for some reason. WTF is also my favorite one of their albums. I especially like Unholy Confessions and Chapter Four.
M30WZ1K4
A7X is my favorite band at the moment. It usually changes a lot. Also, I feel like their self-titled album is my favorite. Probably because most of the songs I listen to are on that album, and it's just so different. Yeah, they may not be the greatest at their instruments, but I think they make up in lyricism. I think what sold it for me was seeing them live. I was singing every single lyric to every song they performed, and...God...it was one of the greatest nights of my life. I couldn't even say a word the next day.
