Well. [i]That[/i] wasn’t fun. You were sitting around, minding your own business in whatever world you came from, when bam. Big flash of light. Felt like a psychic sledgehammer to between the eyeballs. Once you come to, you find yourself in a... city? It’s nighttime, around X:00, judging by the lack of light. Also pretty cold – you can see your breath hovering in front of you. Surprisingly, there’s no-one else around, and all the storefronts and electronic billboards around you are dim. Rubbing your head and wondering just what the hell hit you, you look down and notice... an envelope?

That explains a lot. You’re not sure why you were invited in the first place, but does that really matter? Who doesn’t like a good party? As you look up from the card, you notice lights flickering on as the city comes to life and more people arrive. You know what they say. Time to [i]get down[/i].

[b]Appearance:[/b] Xero is a beastman, meaning he is an animal with a humanoid body. He is a tiger-man. He has a tiger mouth, nose, eyes, and ears; orange fur over over most of his body (white fur across chest and stomach/no fur on the soles of his paws). He has black stripes across his arms, back, and tail. He wears baggy jeans held up with a leather belt, and a white(ish) T-Shirt tucked in. He also has retractable claws.
[b]Personality:[/b] Xero is cunning and devious. He uses his wit, his courage, and his skills to pull off jobs, and he usually has a sarcastic remark in hand. However, he remains loyal and dedicated to any and all allies. Xero is also kind-hearted, not one to turn a blind eye to someone in need, especially more recently. Xero, even when he was a master thief, always thought that bad people would get what they deserved.

Xero is an orphan. His parents were killed by humans when he was 5. However, growing up in an orphanage, he didn't have any fermenting feelings of revenge or anger. He lived a decent life in the orphanage, and made many friends there. Upon reaching 18, though, he was still extremely poor, and unable to get a job (the area he lived in was a well off one, a distance from any battle torn areas). So, he resorted to thieving, and found it to his liking. Five years later, thanks to his natural strength and agility, he became a master thief, infamous for being able to steal from anyone. However, he doesn't just pick people to steal from blindly. While he would steal from anyone, he'd rather steal from humans, or the undeservingly wealthy...

When the RP began, Xero made quick friends with Varrun and Graemjor, helping them to defeat a battalion of humans. Even when they were betrayed by their men and Xero's identity was revealed, Xero still helped them out of the city and into the forest. As events transpired, Xero found the love of his life, Terra. Ironically, she was a human. But Xero never really hated humans. Just the bad ones. And Terra wasn't one of them. ((Please note that, although the RP is currently inactive and has not been finished, Ryuku (the maker) is turning it into a game and has told me the plot.)) Through discovering his father is alive (and it's Graemjor), fighting off shadow beasts, killing the God of Darkness, Penumbra, and bringing his father back as the rightful king, Xero and Terra always were together, and, it seems, would always be so.

She has always been rather satisfied with her physical appearance, though the 5’2’’ size, according to her, leaves much to be desired. For the end of the year festivities, she decided to dye her hair a copper red shade – one of the many colours she has tried in her life. Her main clothing picks are usually of the more revealing kind, though she never mixes too many “sexy” pieces together. Due to starring in numerous music videos and commercials, she is comfortable wearing different kinds of clothing like heels and transparent stuff, but cozy knit wear is just as fine when she’s relaxing in her flat. Her favourite colours are purple and red. Like most idol singers, her looks are a result of hours of trimming and styling and she doesn't feel very comfortable showing her bare face.

Her self-confidence both on- and offstage stems from her hair stylist mother, while the do-the-best-out-of-it attitude is clearly enherited by her father. Nonetheless, Sara has a disposition to snap easily under pressure and has done so numerous times. She can get lonely quickly and tries to be surrounded by people as much as possible.[/size][size=3] Furthermore, the copious amounts of money she spends on make-up and bringing her looks at their best may come over as quite superficial and just hide another layer of insecurity.[/size]

[size=3][b]History:[/b] Being the daughter of a businessman and a hair stylist mother, Sara has travelled through many places in the world, including England, Japan, Taiwan and the US. At the many schools she stayed at, she never had much trouble making connections and was voted as the class representative once. However the friendships didn’t last long, since due to her parents’ busy schedules, she never had a choice but to drag along to the next place. Activities like travelling excite her and joining parties and festivities is one of her favorite pastimes, though she doesn't hold her alcohol well and isn't allowed to drink buckets of it by her agency anyway.

During her highschool years, she dabbled in various artistic activities like drawing and photography and joined many sports clubs. Her mother’s job opened the door into the world of music and when they moved to busy Seoul at the age of 14, a friend told her about an audition that was being held by a music company. It was only at her third try and at a different agency that she got accepted and proceeded to spend the next 4 years training for her debut.

At the present time, she is part of a 5-member-group that has been around for almost a year. Her role isn’t a very significant one, as she is often dancing in the backline and gets few singing parts. Her physical appearance however has earned quite a lot of praise in the media, which led her to starring in various commercials and magazine shootings. Despite not holding a key position in the group and getting some dislikes from the fanbase, it was her dream to be a part of this world and she is enjoying every day of it.[/spoiler]

[b]Personality:[/b] Jericho has a very polar personality; on the one hand she is bright, cheerful, polite, friendly and always looking on the bright side of things, on the other she is also incredibly violent, ruthless and some have even described her as ‘insanely gun crazy’ due to her obsession with firearms. Depending on a person’s relationship to her she can either be extremely dangerous to be around or incredibly safe. She is very overenthusiastic about pretty much anything and is nearly always the first to launch herself into a fight and the last person to finish. Her light-hearted attitude continues even in combat, to the point where she often dances around and attempts to pull off numerous trick shot after trick shot in the flashiest style possible. Due to her flintlocks and muskets only holding one shot each before needing to be reloaded, Jericho carries at least a dozen around at a time, keeping her flintlocks in a belt hidden under her skirt and her muskets in a chest along with plenty of spare ammunition. In her spare time she is often found polishing and maintaining her weapons. Due to an incident in her past Jericho also suffers from Pyro phobia (fear of fire).

[b][b]Biography:[/b][/b] Jericho is an English girl born and the only child to a wealthy couple. Due to her family’s wealth they were able to spend a lot of time together without the need to worry about money and, while Jericho was a spoilt child, she grew very close to her parents because of this. On the eve of Jericho’s tenth birthday, however, she arrived home from a trip into town with one of her family’s servants to find it in flames. While she was out a riot had begun and the rioters had begun torching anything they could find, including Jericho’s home. Both Jericho’s parents died during the attack and the house was looted and burnt to the ground.

After taking a distraught Jericho as far away from the rioting as possible the servant adopted Jericho and took care of her himself. After the aftermath of the riot had died down Jericho seemed to have vanished from the public eye and wasn’t heard of again until 5 years later when a gang of thieves was found in the streets with various bullet wounds over their bodies, alive but in serious pain. Over the next few weeks more criminals turned up in similar situations, most of them in shock.

During the past 5 years Jericho had regained some, if not most, of her family’s wealth and had used it to purchase a number of weapons and train herself to use them, becoming a vigilante and tracking down the criminals that had caused her family’s death. After getting her revenge she returned to her old home town and taken up life as a vigilante there. Intending to recover enough money to rebuild her family’s old estate and return it to its former glory, it wasn’t any surprise that piracy crossed her mind more than once.

[spoiler="Additional Information"]A Dimension-Hopping lombax (and yes, he actually does have the ability to travel to other dimensions/realities) who also possesses a mediocre spiritual sense, enough for him to act as a sort of medium for spirits. Aside from Duel Monsters, Alexander also has skills in physical combat, a sort of jack-of-all-trades with weapons of many sorts, though most of his fighting is improvised. In addition, he has access to low-level magic, such as casting thunderbolts, iceballs, etc., but has not learned fire magic for very personal reasons.


As a result of his dimension-hopping, he has developed an "illness" that could eventually claim his very existence. Tell-tale signs include feeling sharp pains, as well as his body seeming to "lose focus" (i.e., look like the static of an old-school television set) for split seconds at a time.


Alexander often wonders whether his father is alive or not, and has been known to go into a "dark place" whenever he thinks too long about it; truth is, he forcefully induced amnesia on himself to forget that his father was killed. In recent years, however, Alexander has remembered a large number of details of his past from around that time and is slowly coming to terms with it, though there before were times where he has tried (and succeeded) in "locking away" those painful memories.


He also has an appreciation for music; oftentimes one can see/hear him play the piano, usually slipping into a trance-like state as he gets swept up in the music. He does play other kinds of instruments, but prefers the piano the most.[/spoiler]

Long blonde hair, parted in the middle and extended through two odd cone like hats, extending outward and dangling downward, reaching about 3 feet down. A single large pink rose is planted upon the right side of her hair.

Her pale face is highlighted by a bright pink shadow all around her eyes, and down her cheeks in the shape of a teardrop. It is unknown if this effect is achieved through makeup or otherwise.

Checker board pattern tights hug her legs, and a black and pink jester-like dress decorates the rest of her petite frame. Her dress has long sleeves that curve outwards, yet the section that is meant towards covering her hips and backside is rather short. Her costume is also decorated with bells every which place.

Her shoes are typical jester shoes, longer then they need to be, and each ending with a jingly bell.

[b]Personality:[/b] Despite the rather... sinister organization she appears to be a part of, Hubris appears to be the most genuinely upbeat and nicest of the group. She appears to be rather naive and childlike in regards to the whole thing. As her true motives are unknown, it is unclear whether it is all a giant facade or whether she is truly an amicable person.

[b]Background info on the RP:[/b] There's an evil circus that comes to town. And then they kill everyone for some reason.

[b]Bio:[/b] If there was one icon to the Twistopia festival, some would agree it to be there mascot-slash-vendor-slash-clown-slash-everything else, Hubris. Not much is known about her true motivation or where she came from, due to the fact that she does not speak; only nod, shake her head, or giggle from time to time, but from what travelers can say is that the pint sized blonde is a delight.

She appears to the guests of the park, showing up at any random location, and typically offers assistance in guiding them to the next section of the festival or wherever else they need to go. Due to the fact that she shows up at the most oddest of places, with that ever present painted on smile, and also due to the fact that she frequently gets to a location before the other patrons who just saw her, it is believed by many that Hubris is merely a collection of girls, probably about 20 of them or so, each set up somewhere in the park to help any lost tourists and give the illusion that it's just one girl.

Her primary job at the park is to perform simple clown duties. Juggling is a specialty of hers, as is pin point accuracy for chopping fruits off other peoples heads with her very sharp earrings from rather far away. At other times, she will fill in for other acts such as magicians or lion tamers.

When not clowning around to entertain the masses, she can typically be seen manning a cash register, sweeping, doing park security, selling balloons or concessions, or any other odd job that may need doing. She will however, always be willing to stop what she's doing to help a patron find his way, and to meet the other 6 seats. A reviewer for a local magazine put it best when he said: "Hubris leads to many of the other sins."

Guests of the park truly agree, the girl(s?) must really take great pride in their work at the festival.

[b]Weapon:[/b] Two grenades, which she hides... somewhere on her person... and two razor sharp earrings she uses as throwing stars.

[b]Power Basis:[/b] Inner Strength. While she's not quite good at clearing a room, she excels at hand to hand combat.

[b]Abilities:[/b]
Harmony - The ability to duplicate items endlessly. Typically used on her earrings and on her grenades for ranged attacks, though they say it has many other uses...
Tempo - An increase in her flexibility, agility, gymnastic skills, and other such things. It allows her to jump about 20 or 30 feet, as well run around, oh let's say, 30 or so mph without breaking a sweat. Some who have seen this ability in action may help lay credence to the rumours that Hubris is just one person.
Resonance - An increase in physical strength. Some patrons of the park claim to have seen her easily lift a truck while sweeping, though it was probably all hearsay and rumours, and she may have just merely set it all up as a prank on other patrons.

[b]Additional information I never got around to saying in that RP:[/b] The way Hubris duplicates things with her "Harmony" ability seems to be with a sharp 'breaking' motion. She puts her hands on her earings and perfomrs a motion like she's 'snapping' off a piece, thought she is actually duplicating it.

In the second-to-last final epic boss fight, after the entire team fought hard just to take her down, it was supposed to be revealed that she had used her duplicating powers on herself, and there actually were 20+ girls identical to her hanging around the park. All 20+ surround the tired group, and then duplicate to make 40+. And then bad stuff.[/spoiler]

I was going to make mine a Rise of the Beastmen character as well, but I didn't wanna use Varrun or Graemjor as that would be a bit predicable what with Atman being Xero.
